I bear witness that there is no god save Allah, One and Only and having no partner; and I bear witness that Muhammad, is His servant and messenger.

میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ نہیں معبود سوائے اللہ کے وہ یگانہ ہے کوئی اس کاشریک نہیں اور گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ حضرت محمدؐ اس کے بندہ و رسولؐ ہیں۔

Allah is the Greatest.

اللہ بزرگ تر ہے۔

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

Peace be upon you, O Household of Prophethood, location of the Divine mission, frequently visited by the angels, destination of the Divine revelation, core of mercy, hoarders of knowledge, ultimate degree of forbearance, origins of generosity, leaders of all nations, sustainers of bounties, foundations of the dutiful, pillars of the upright, maintainers of the servants (of Allah), props of the lands, doors to true faith, trustees of the All-beneficent (Allah), descendants of the Prophets, choice of the Messengers, and offspring of the select of the Lord of the worlds. Allah’s mercy and blessings, too, be upon you (all).

آپ پر سلام ہو اے خاندانِ نبوت! اے پیغام الہٰی کے آنے کی جگہ اور ملائکہ کے آنے جانے کے مقام، وحی نازل ہونے کی جگہ نزولِ رحمت کے مرکز علوم کے خزانہ دار حد درجہ بردباراور بزرگواری کے حامل ہیں آپ قوموں کے پیشوا، نعمتوں کے بانٹنے والے سرمایۂ نیکو کاران، پارساؤں کے ستون، بندوں کے لئے تدبیرِ کار، آبادیوں کے سردار، ایمان و اسلام کے دروازے،اور خدا کے امانت دار ہیں اور آپ نبیوں کی نسل و اولاد،رسولوں کے پسندیدہ اور جہانوں کے رب کے پسند کیے ہوؤں کی اولاد ہیں آپؑ پر سلام خدا کی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکات ہوں۔

Peace be upon the directors of right guidance, the lanterns in darkness, the patterns of piety, the owners of understanding, the endued with thought, the havens for the peoples, the inheritors of the Prophets, the perfect specimen, the most excellent call, and the arguments of Allah against the inhabitants of the world, the Hereafter, and the former world. Allah’s mercy and blessings, too, be upon you (all).

آپؑ پرسلام جو ہدایت دینے والے امامؑ ہیں تاریکیوں کے چراغ ہیں پرہیز گاری کے نشان صاحبانِ عقل و خرد اور مالکانِ دانش ہیں، آپ لوگوں کی پناہ گاہ نبیوں کے وارث بلندترین نمونۂ عمل اور بہترین دعوت دینے والے ہیں آپ دنیا والوں پر خدا کی حجتیں ہیں آغاز و انجام میں، آپؑ پر سلام خدا کی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکات ہوں۔

Peace be upon the exponents of the recognition of Allah, the centers of Allah’s blessing, the essence of Allah’s wisdom, the keepers of Allah’s secrets, the bearers of Allah’s Book, the successors of Allah’s Prophet, and the progeny of Allah’s Messenger, may Allah send blessings upon him and his Household. Allah’s mercy and blessings, too, be upon them.

سلام ہو خد اکی معرفت کے ذریعوں پر جو خدا کی برکت کے مقام اور خدا کی حکمت کی کانیں ہیں خدا کے رازوں کے نگہبان خدا کی کتاب کے حامل خدا کے آخری نبیؐ کے جانشین اور خدا کے رسولؐ کی اولاد ہیں خدا ان پر اور ان کی آلؑ پر درود بھیجے اور خدا کی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکات ہوں۔

Peace be upon the callers to Allah, the leaders to Allah’s pleasure, the abiders by Allah’s decree, the perfect in love for Allah, the sincere in professing Allah’s Oneness, the manifesters of Allah’s orders and prohibitions, and Allah’s honored bondmen who speak not until He has spoken and act by His command. Allah’s mercy and blessings, too, be upon them.

سلام ہو خدا کی طرف بلانے والوں پر اور خدا کی رضاؤں سے آگاہ کرنے والوں پر جو خدا کے معاملے میں ایستادہ خدا کی محبت میں سب سے کامل اور خدا کی توحید کے عقیدے میں کھرے ہیں وہ خدا کے امرونہی کو بیان کرنے والے اور اس کے محترم بندے ہیں کہ جو اس کے آگے بولنے میں پہل نہیں کرتے اور اس کے حکم پر عمل کرتے ہیں ان پر خدا کی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکات ہوں۔

Peace be upon the Imams, the heralds, the leaders, the guides, the chiefs, the authorities, the defenders, the protectors, the people of the Reminder (i.e. the Qur’an), the men in authority, the left ones by Allah, His select, His party, the repository of His knowledge, His argument, His path, His light, and His proof. Allah’s mercy and blessings, too, be upon them.

سلام ہو ان پر جودعوت دینے والے امام ہیں ہدایت دینے والے راہنما صاحبِ ولایت سردار حمایت کرنے والے نگہدار،ذکرِ الہٰی کرنے والے اور والیانِ امر ہیں وہ خدا کا سرمایہ اس کے پسندیدہ اس کی جماعت اور اس کے علوم کا خزانہ ہیں وہ خدا کی حجت اس کا راستہ اس کا نور اور اس کی نشانی ہیں خداکی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکات ہوں۔

I bear witness that there is no god save Allah; One and Only and having no partner with Him just as Allah has testified to His Oneness to which His angels and his knowledgeable creatures testify. There is no god save Him; the Almighty, the All-wise. I also bear witness that Muhammad is His elect servant and His approved Messenger. He sent him with right guidance and with the Religion of truth that He may cause it to prevail over all religions however much the idol-worshippers may be averse.

میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں جو یکتا ہے کوئی اس کا شریک نہیں جیسا کہ خدا نے اپنے لئے گواہی دی اس کے ساتھ اس کے فرشتے اور اس کی مخلوق میں سے صاحبانِ علم بھی گواہ ہیں کہ کوئی معبود نہیں مگر وہی جو زبردست حکمت والا ہے اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ محمدؐاس کے برگزیدہ بندے اور اس کے پسند کردہ رسولؐ ہیں جن کو اس نے ہدایت اور سچے دین کے ساتھ بھیجا تاکہ وہ اسے تمام دینوں پر غالب کر دیں اگر چہ مشرک پسند نہ بھی کریں۔

I also bear witness that you all are the Imams, rightly guiding, well-guided, infallible, highly revered, drawn near (to Allah), pious, veracious, well-chosen, obedient to Allah, establishing His rule, putting into practice His will, and winning His honoring.

اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ امام ہیں ہدایت والے سنورے ہوئے گناہ سے بچائے ہوئے بزرگیوں والے اس سے نزدیک تر پرہیز گار صدق والے چنے ہوئے خدا کے اطاعت گزار اس کے حکم پر کمر بستہ اس کے ارادے پر عمل کرنے والے اور اس کی مہربانی سے کامیاب ہیں۔

He chose you on account of His (eternal) knowledge, approved of you to maintain His unseen knowledge, selected you to keep His secret, decided on you by means of His omnipotence, equipped you with His guidance, distinguished you with His clear proofs, chose you to hold His Light, supported you with His Holy spirit, and accepted you as vicegerents in His lands, arguments against His beings, supporters of His religion, keepers of His secret, hoarders of His knowledge, stores of His wisdom, interpreters of His revelation, pillars of the profession of His Oneness, witnesses on His creatures, signs for His servants, torches in His lands, and directors to His path.

اپنے علم سے آپ کو چنا، اپنے غیب کے لئے آپ کو پسند کیا، اپنے راز کے لئے آپ کو منتخب کیا اپنی قدرت سے آپ کو اپنا بنایا اپنی ہدایت سے عزّت دی اور اپنی دلیل کے لئے خاص کیااس نے آپ کو اپنے نورکے لئے چنا روح القدس سے آپ کو قوت دی اپنی زمین میں آپ کو اپنا نائب قرار دیا اپنی مخلوق پر اپنی حجتیں بنایا اپنے دین کے ناصر اور اپنے راز کے نگہدار اور اپنے علم کے خزانہ دار بنایا اپنی حکمت آپ کے سپرد کی آپؑ کو اپنی وحی کے ترجمان اور اپنی توحید کا مبلغ بنایا اس نے آپ کو اپنی مخلوق پر گواہ قرار دیا اپنے بندوں کے لئے نشانِ منزل اپنے شہروں کی روشنی اور اپنے راستے کا رہبر قرار دیا۔

Allah has preserved you against slips, secured you against seditious matters, purified you from dirt, removed away from you uncleanness, and purified you with a thorough purifying. So, you have glorified His majesty, declared great His magnificence, glorified His nobility, perpetuated mentioning Him, consolidated His covenant, made firm your pledge of obedience to Him, acted sincerely to Him privately and publicly, called unto His way with wisdom and fair admonition.

خدا نے آپ کو خطاؤں سے بچایا فتنہ وفساد سے محفوظ کیا اور ہر آلودگی سے صاف رکھا ناپاکی آپ سے دور کر دی اور آپ کو پاک رکھا جیسے پاک رکھنے کا حق ہے پس آپ نے اس کی جلالت و عظمت کی بڑائی کی اس کے مقام کو بلند جانااس کی بزرگی کی توصیف کی اس کے ذکر کو جاری رکھا اس کے عہد کوپختہ کیا اس کی فرماں برداری کے عقیدے کو محکم بنایا آپ نے پوشیدہ و ظاہر اس کا ساتھ دیا اور اس کے سیدھے راستے کی طرف لوگوں کو دانشمندی اور بہترین نصیحت کے ذریعے بلایا۔

Sacrificed yourselves for the sake of attaining His pleasure, acted patiently towards what has befallen you for His sake, performed the prayers, defrayed the poor-rate, enjoined the right, forbade the wrong. And strived in the way of Allah as exactly as striving should be until you made known His call, rendered clear His obligations, executed His provisions, propagated for the enacted laws of Him, acted out His rules, attained His pleasure through carrying out all these matters, surrendered to His will, and confirmed the truth of the past Messengers of Him.

آپ نے اس کی رضا کے لئے اپنی جانیں قربان کیں اور اس کی راہ میں آپ کو جو دکھ پہنچے ان کو صبر سے جھیلا آپ نے نماز قائم کی اور زکوٰۃ دیتے رہے آپ نے نیک کاموں کا حکم دیا برے کاموں سے منع فرمایا اور خدا کی راہ میں جہاد کا حق ادا کیا چنانچہ آپ نے اس کاپیغام عام کیا اس کے عائد کردہ فرائض بتائے اور اس کی مقررہ حدیں جاری کیں آپؑ نے اس کے احکام بیان کیے اس کے طریقے رائج کیے اور اس میں آپ اس کی رضا کے طالب ہوئے آپؑ نے اس کے ہر فیصلے کو تسلیم کیا اور آپ نے اس کے گذشتہ پیغمبروں کی تصدیق کی۔

Therefore, whoever forsakes you is apostate, whoever adheres to you will attain the destination, and whoever fails to carry out the duties towards you will perish. Verily, the truth is always with you, amid you, from you, and to you. You are the people and the core of it (i.e. the truth). The inheritance of Prophethood is with you. The ultimate destination of the creatures is to you. Calling them to account is your mission.

پس آپ سے ہٹنے والا دین سے نکل گیا آپ کا ہمراہی دین دار رہا اور آپ کے حق کو کم سمجھنے والا نابود ہواحق آپؑ کے ساتھ ہے آپؑ میں ہے آپؑ کی طرف سے ہے آپؑ کی طرف آیا ہے آپ حق والے ہیں اور مرکزِ حق ہیں نبوت کا ترکہ آپؑ کے پاس ہے لوگوں کی واپسی آپؑ کی طرف اور ان کا حساب آپ کو لینا ہے آپ حق و باطل کا فیصلہ کرنے والے ہیں۔

Decisive speech is with you and the verses of Allah are in your possession. His unavoidable decrees rely upon you. His light and proof are with you. His authority is to you. Whoever declares loyalty to you has in fact declared loyalty to Allah, whoever shows enmity towards you has in fact shown enmity towards Allah, whoever loves you has in fact loved Allah, whoever hates you has in fact hated Allah, and whoever holds fast to you has in fact held fast to Allah.

خدا کی آیتیں اور اس کے ارادے آپ کے دلوں میں ہیں اس کا نور اور محکم دلیل آپ کے پاس ہے اور اس کا حکم آپ کی طرف آیا ہے آپ کا دوست خدا کا دوست اور جو آپ کا دشمن ہے وہ خدا کا دشمن ہے جس نے آپ سے محبت کی اس نے خدا سے محبت کی اور جس نے آپؑ سے نفرت کی اس نے خدا سے نفرت کی اور جو آپ سے وابستہ ہوا وہ خدا سے وابستہ ہوا۔

You are the most straight path, the witnesses of this abode of extinction, the intercessors in the abode of permanence, the connected mercy, the stored sign, the safeguarded deposit, and the door with which people are put to test. Whoever comes to you will have been saved but whoever refrains from joining you will have perished.

کیوں کہ آپ سیدھا راستہ دنیا میں لوگوں پر شاہد و گواہ اور آخرت میں شفاعت کرنے والے ہیں آپ ختم نہ ہونے والی رحمت محفوظ شدہ آیت سنبھالی ہوئی امانت اور وہ راستہ ہیں جس سے لوگ آزمائے جاتے ہیں جو آپ کے پاس آیا نجات پاگیا اور جو ہٹا رہا وہ تباہ ہو گیا۔

To Allah do you invite people, towards him do you show the way, in Him do you believe, to Him do you submit, upon His command do you act, to His path do you direct, and according to His saying do you judge. Happy is he who is loyal to you, desolate is he who forsakes you, disappointed is he who denies you, straying off is he who separates himself from you, winner is he who adheres to you, secured is he who resorts to you, saved is he who gives credence to you, and rightly guided is he who takes shelter in you.

آپ خدا کی طرف بلانے والے اور اس کی طرف رہبری کرنے والے ہیں آپ اس پر ایمان رکھتے اور اس کے فرماں بردار ہیں آپ اس کا حکم ماننے والے اس کے راستے کی طرف لے جانے والے اور اس کے حکم سے فیصلہ دینے والے ہیں وہ کامیاب ہوا جو آپ کا دوست ہے وہ ہلاک ہوا جو آپ کا دشمن ہے اور وہ ذلیل و خوار ہوا جس نے آپ کا انکار کیا وہ گمراہ ہوا جو آپؑ سے جدا ہوا، اور وہ بامراد ہوا جو آپ کے ہمراہ رہا اور اسے امن ملا جس نے آپ کی پناہ لی، وہ سلامت رہا جس نے آپ کی تصدیق کی اور وہ ہدایت پا گیا جس نے آپ کا دامن تھاما۔

As to whoever follows you, Paradise will be his abode. As to whoever dissents you, Hellfire will be his dwelling. He who denies you is unbeliever, he who makes war against you is polytheist, and he who objects to you will be in the lowest tier of the burning fire. I bear witness that all the previous was pre-decided for you and it will continue in the future; and that your souls, your light, and your form are the same; blessed and purified, and one of the other.

جس نے آپ کی پیروی کی اس کا مقام جنت ہے اور جس نے آپ کی نافرمانی کی اس کا ٹھکانا جہنم ہے جس نے آپ کا انکار کیا وہ کافر ہے جس نے آپؑ سے جنگ کی وہ مشرک ہے اور جس نے آپ کو غلط قرار دیا وہ جہنم کے سب سے نچلے طبقے میں ہوگا میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ یہ مقام آپ کو گذشتہ زمانے میں حاصل تھااورآئندہ زمانے میں بھی حاصل رہے گا بے شک آپؑ سب کی روحیں آپ کے نور اور آپ کی اصل ایک ہے جو خوش گوار اور پاکیزہ ہے کہ آپؑ میں سے بعض بعض کی اولاد ہیں۔

Allah created you as lights; He then made you observe from His Throne until He endued us with the favor of your existence (among us) and then placed you in houses that He allowed to be raised and to have His Name mentioned therein. He also decided our invocation of blessings upon you and our loyalty to you to be immaculacy of our creation, purity of our souls, refinement of our manners, and forgiveness of our sins. We have thus become, with Him, of those believing in your precedence and of those known for their giving credence to you.

خدا نے آپ کو نور کی شکل میں پیدا کیا پھر آپؑ سب کو اپنے عرش کے اردگرد رکھا حتیٰ کہ ہم پر احسان کیا اور آپ کو بھیجا پس آپ کو ان گھروں میں رکھا جن کو خدا نے بلند کیااور ان میں اس کا نام لیا جاتا ہے اس نے آپؑ پر ہمارے درود وسلام قرار دیئے اس سے ہمیں آپ کی ولایت میں خصوصیت دی اسے ہماری پاکیزہ پیدائش ہمارے نفسوں کی صفائی ہمارے باطن کی درستی کا ذریعہ اور گناہوں کا کفارہ بنایا پس ہم اس کے حضور آپ کی فضیلت کو ماننے والے اور آپ کی تصدیق کرنے والے قرار پاگئے ہیں۔

Thus, Allah has raised you to the most honourable place of the honored ones, the highest station of those drawn near to Him, and the loftiest ranks of the Messengers where none can ever reach you, nor can anyone ever surpass you, nor can anyone ever precede you, nor can anyone ever look forward to reaching your positions; so that there remains no archangel, nor commissioned Prophet, nor veracious one, nor martyr, nor knowledgeable one, nor ignorant one, nor inferior, nor superior, nor righteous believer.

پس خدا نے آپ کو صاحبانِ عظمت کے بلند مقام پر پہنچایا اور اپنے مقربین کی بلند منزلوں تک لے گیا اور اپنے پیغمبروں کے اونچے مراتب عطا کیے اس طرح کہ پیچھے والا وہاں نہ پہنچے کوئی اوپر والا اس مقام سے بلند نہ ہو اور کوئی آگے والا آگے نہ بڑھے اور کوئی طمع کرنے والا اس مقام کی طمع نہ کرے یہاں تک کہ باقی نہ رہے کوئی مقرب فرشتہ نہ کوئی نبی مرسل نہ کوئی صدیق اور نہ شہید نہ کوئی عالم اور نہ جاہل نہ کوئی پست اور نہ کوئی بلند نہ کوئی نیک مؤمن

A wicked sinner, an obstinate tyrant, a devilish rebel, or any other witnessing being among these classes, all of those were informed by Allah about the majesty of your issue, the importance of your standing, the greatness of your prestige, the thoroughness of your illumination, the honesty of your position, the firmness of your stance, the honor of your station and position with Him, your upstanding reputation with Him, your special position with Him, and your close location to Him.

اور نہ کوئی فاسق و فاجر اور گناہ گار نہ کوئی ضدی سرکش اور نہ کوئی مغرور شیطان اور نہ ہی کوئی اور مخلوق گواہی دے سوائے اس کے کہ وہ ان کو آپ کی شان سے آگاہ کرے آپ کے مقام کی بلندی آپ کی شان کی بڑائی آپ کے نور کی کاملیت آپ کے درست درجات آپ کے مراتب کی ہمیشگی آپ کے خاندان کی بزرگی اس کے ہاں آپ کے مقام اس کے سامنے آپؑ کی بزرگواری اس کے ساتھ آپؑ کی خصوصیت اور اس سے آپ کے مقام کی قربت کی گواہی دے۔

May my father, my mother, my kin, my property, and my family be ransoms for you. I beseech Allah and I beseech you all to witness for me that I believe in you all and in that in which you believe, I renounce your enemies and whatever you renounce, I am fully aware of your matter and of the deviation of those who oppose you, I am loyalist to you and to your loyalists, I hate your enemies and I show enmity towards them.

میرے ماں باپ میرا گھر میرا مال اور میرا خاندان آپؑ پر قربان میں گواہ بناتا ہوں خدا کو اور آپ کو کہ اس پر میں ایمان رکھتا ہوں جس پر آپؑ ایمان رکھتے ہیں آپ کے دشمن کا منکر ہوں اور جس چیز کا آپ انکار کرتے ہیں آپ کی شان کو جانتا ہوں اور آپ کے مخالف کی گمراہی کو سمجھتا ہوں آپؑ اور آپ کے دوستوں سے محبت رکھتا ہوں آپ کے دشمنوں سے نفرت کرتا ہوں اور ان کا دشمن ہوں۔

I am at peace with those who make peace with you, I take the field against those who march against you, I accept as true that which you have decided as true, I prove false that which you have decided as false, I am obedient to you, I recognize your right. I confess of your superiority, I preserve your knowledge, I take refuge under your protective shelter, I profess you, I believe in your coming back (to this world), I give credence to your return, I am awaiting your issue, I am expecting your rule, I take in your sayings, I carry out your orders, I take shelter in you, I make visits to you.

میری اس سے صلح ہے جو آپؑ سے صلح رکھے اور اس سے جنگ ہےجو آپؑ سے جنگ کرے اسے حق کہتا ہوں جس کو آپؑ حق کہیں اسے باطل کہتا ہوں جس کو آپؑ باطل کہیں آپ کا فرماں بردار ہوں آپ کے حق کو پہچانتا ہوں آپ کی بڑائی کو مانتا ہوں آپ کے علم کا معتقد ہوں آپ کی ولایت میں پناہ گزین ہوں آپ کی ذات کا اقرار کرتا ہوں آپ کی بازگشت پر ایمان رکھتا ہوں آپ کی رجعت کی تصدیق کرتا ہوں آپ کے دور کا منتظر ہوں آپ کی حکومت کا انتظار کرتا ہوں آپؑ کے قول کو قبول کرتا ہوں آپؑ کے حکم پر عمل کرتا ہوں آپ کی پناہ میں ہوں آپ کی زیارت کو آیا ہوں۔

I resort to and seek protection in your graves, I seek your intercession for me with Allah the Almighty and All-majestic, I seek nearness to Him in your names, I provide you as my means for seeking fulfillment of my desires, wishes and, needs in all of my manners and affairs, I believe in your invisibility, visibility, presence, absence, first, and last of you; and I confide all that to you and submit to all of it with you.

آپ کے مقبرے میں پوشیدہ ہو کر پناہ لی ہے خدا کے حضور آپ کو اپنا سفارشی بناتا ہوں آپ کے ذریعے اس کی قربت چاہتا ہوں آپ کو اپنی ضرورتوں حاجتوں اور ارادوں کا وسیلہ بناتا ہوں اپنے ہر حال اور ہر کام میں اور ایمان رکھتا ہوں آپؑ میں سے پوشیدہ اور ظاہر پر آپؑ میں سےحاضر اور غائب پر آپؑ میں سے اول اور آخر پر ان تمام امور کے ساتھ خود کو آپ کے سپرد کرتا ہوں اوران میں آپ کے سامنے سرِ تسلیم خم کرتا ہوں۔

My heart is subservient to you, my opinion is following yours, and my support to you is all set until Allah the All-exalted restores His religion to life through you, brings you back again in His days, allows you to appear for (establishing) His justice, and gives you power to rule in His land. So, I am (always) with you, with you, but not with anyone other than you. I have full faith in you, and I declare my loyalty to the last of you just as I declared it to the first of you.

میرا دل آپ کا معتقد ہے میرا ارادہ آپ کے تابع ہے میری مدد و نصرت آپ کے لئے حاضر ہے یہاں تک کہ خدا آپ کے ہاتھوں اپنے دین کو زندہ کرے آپ کو اس زمانے میں لے جائے قیامِ عدل میں آپ کی مدد کرےاور آپ کو اپنی زمین میں اقتدار دے پس میں صرف آپ کے ساتھ ہوں آپ کے غیر کے ساتھ نہیں آپ کا معتقد ہوں اور آپؑ میں سے آخری کا محب ہوں جیسے آپؑ میں سے اول کا محب ہوں۔

In the presence of Allah the Almighty and All majestic, I repudiate your enemies, all idols, false deities, the devils, and their party who have wronged you, denied your rights, apostatized from your (divinely commissioned) leadership, usurped your inheritance, arisen doubts about you, and deviated from you, and (I repudiate) any adherence to anyone other than you, any obeyed one save you, and the leaders who call to Hellfire.

میں خدائے عزو جل کے سامنے آپ کے دشمنوں سے بیزاری کرتا ہوں اور بتوں سے سرکشوں سے بیزار ہوں شیطانوں سے اور ان کے گروہ سے جو آپؑ پر ظلم کرنے والے آپؑ کے حق کا انکار کرنے والے آپؑ کی ولایت سے نکل جانے والے آپ کی وراثت غصب کرنے والے آپ پر شک کرنے والے آپؑ سے پھر جانے والے ہیں اور میں آپ کے سوا ہر جماعت سے بیزار ہوں آپ کے سوا ہر اطاعت کئے ہوئے سے اور ان پیشواؤں سے بیزار ہوں جو جہنم میں لے جانے والے ہیں۔

May Allah make me firm forever as long as I am alive on loyalty to you, love for you, and on your religion. May He grant me success in obedience to you, endue me with your intercession, make me of the best of your loyalists who carry out all that to which you have called, and make me of those who are tracking your footsteps, taking your path, following your guidance, and those who are) resurrected in your group, given the chance to appear again in your Return, given authority in your administration, honored to live under your sound supervision, given power in your days, and having their eyes delighted by seeing you in the morrow.

پس جب تک زندہ ہوں خدا مجھے آپ کی دوستی پر قائم رکھے آپ کی محبت پر آپ کے دین پر اور آپ کی پیروی کرنے کی توفیق دے اور آپؑ کی شفاعت نصیب کرے خدا مجھ کو آپ کے بہترین دوستوں میں رکھے جو اس کی پیروی کرنے والے ہوں جن کی طرف آپ نے دعوت دی اورمجھے ان میں سے قرار دے جو آپ کے اقوال نقل کرتے ہیں مجھے آپ کی راہ پر چلائے آپ کی ہدایت سے بہرہ مند کرے آپ کے گروہ میں اٹھائے آپ کی رجعت میں مجھے بھی لوٹائے آپ کی حکومت میں آپ کی رعایا بنائے آپ کے دامن میں عزّت دے آپ کے عہد میں اعلیٰ مقام دے اور ان میں رکھے جو کل آپ کے دیدار سے آنکھیں ٹھنڈی کریں گے۔

May my father, mother, soul, family, and possessions be ransoms for you. Whoever desires for Allah should begin with you, whoever professes His Oneness should accept your instructions, and whoever heads for Him should make you the means to Him. O my masters, I cannot count your merits and I cannot attain the utmost of praise of you and the utmost of the description of your actual value, since you are the light of the upright ones, the guides of the pious ones, and the arguments of the Supreme Lord.

میرے ماں باپ میری جان میرا خاندان اور مال آپؑ پر قربان جو خدا کو چاہے وہ آپؑ سے ملتا ہے جو اسے یکتا سمجھے وہ آپ کی بات مانتا ہے جو اس کی طرف بڑھے وہ آپ کا رخ کرتا ہے میرے سردارمیں آپ کی تعریف کا اندازہ نہیں کر سکتا نہ آپ کی مدح کی حقیقت کو سمجھ سکتا ہوں اور نہ آپ کی شان کا تصور کرسکتا ہوں آپ شرفاء کا نور نیکو ں کے رہبر خدائے قادر کی حجتیں ہیں۔

With you has Allah begun creation and with you will He seal it. For your sake does He pour down rain, for your sake does He withhold the heavens from falling on the earth except by His permission, and out of consideration for you does He dismiss agonies and relieves harms. In your possession is all that which His Messengers brought down and with which His angels descended to your forefather...

خدا نے آپؑ سے آغاز وانجام کیا ہے وہ آپؑ کے ذریعے بارش برساتا ہے آپ کے ذریعے آسمان کو روکے ہوئے ہے تاکہ زمین پرنہ گرے مگر اس کے حکم سے وہ آپؑ کے ذریعے غم دور کرتا اور سختی ہٹاتا ہے وہ پیغام آپؑ کے پاس ہے جو اس کے رسول لائے اور فرشتے جس کو لے کر اترے اور آپؑ کے نانا کی طرف۔۔۔

اور آپؑ کے جد کے۔۔۔

…was the Honest Spirit sent. Allah has given you that which He has not given to any one all over the worlds. All highborn ones nod down their heads before your noble lineage, all arrogant ones submit to the obedience to you, all insolent oppressors succumb to your excellence, all things are humiliated before you, the earth has been lit up with your light, and the winners have attained triumph due to their loyalty to you.

اور آپؑ کے بھائی کے پاس روح الامین آیا خدا نے آپ کو وہ نعمت دی جو جہانوں میں کسی کو نہ دی ہر بڑائی والا آپؑ کی بڑائی کے آگے جھکتا ہے ہر مغرور آپؑ کا حکم مانتا ہے ہر زبردست آپؑ کی فضیلت کے سامنے خم ہوتا ہے ہر چیز آپ کے آگے پست ہے زمین آپؑ کے نور سے چمکتی ہے کامیابی پانے والے آپؑ کی ولایت سے کامیابی پاتے ہیں۔

Through you can the way to Paradise be taken and the ire of the All-beneficent is poured on whoever has denied your (divinely commissioned) leadership. May my father, mother, soul, family, and possessions be ransoms for you. Your mention is within the mention of others. Your names are called along with other names. Your figures appear among other figures. Your souls are among other souls. Your selves are among other selves. Your traditions are among other traditions. Your graves are among other graves.

کہ آپؑ کے ذریعے رضاء الہٰی حاصل کرتے ہیں اور جو آپؑ کی ولایت کے منکر ہیں ان پر خدا کا غضب آتا ہے میرے ماں باپ میری جان میرا خاندان اور مال آپؑ پر قربان آپ کا ذکر ہے ذکر کرنے والوں میں، آپ کے نام ناموں میں خاص ہیں آپ کے جسم اعلیٰ ہیں جسموں میں آپ کی روحیں بہترین ہیں روحوں میں آپ کے دل پاکیزہ ہیں دلوں میں آپؑ کے نشان عمدہ ہیں نشانوں میں اور آپؑ کی قبریں پاک ہیں قبروں میں۔

But how gracious your names are! How noble your souls are! How superior your affairs are! How majestic your stations are! How dependable your covenants are! How truthful your promises are! Your words are illumination. Your affairs are (leading to) orthodoxy. Your precepts are piety. Your deeds are all good. Your habits are charity. Your nature is generosity. Your issue is truth, honesty, and lenience. Your words are judgments and decisiveness. Your views are (based upon) knowledge, temperance, and forethought. Whenever goodness is mentioned, you are its initiation, origin, branch, essence, center, and ultimate.

پس کتنے پیارے ہیں آپ کے نام کتنے گرامی ہیں آپ کے نفوس آپ کی شان بلند ہے آپ کا مقام عظیم ہے آپ کا پیمان پورا ہونے والا اور آپؑ کا وعدہ سچا ہے آپؑ کا کلام روشن آپؑ کے حکم میں ہدایت آپؑ کی وصیت پرہیز گاری آپؑ کا فعل عمدہ آپؑ کی عادت پسندیدہ آپؑ کی طبیعت و کردار میں بزرگواری آپؑ کی شان سچائی راستی اور ملائمت ونرمی ہے آپؑ کا قول مضبوط و یقینی ہے آپ کی رائے میں نرمی اور پختگی ہے اگر نیکی کا ذکر ہو تو آپؑ اس میں اول اس کی جڑ اس کی شاخ اس کا مرکز اس کا ٹھکانہ اور اس کی انتہا ہیں۔

May my father, mother, and soul be ransoms for you. How shall I describe the excellence of your merits and define the beauty of your conferrals? It is on account of you that Allah has pulled us out of degradation, removed from us the clutches of hardships, and saved us from the brink of the pit of perditions and from the Fire.

قربان آپؑ پر میرے ماں باپ اور میری جان کس طرح میں آپ کی زیبا تعریف و توصیف کروں اور آپ کی بہترین آزمائشوں کا تصور کروں کہ خدا نے آپ کے ذریعے ہمیں ذلت وخواری سے بچایا ہمارے رنج و غم کو دور فرمایا اور ہمیں تباہی کی وادی سے نکالا اور جہنم کی آگ سے آزاد کیا۔

May my father, mother, and soul be ransoms for you. Through our loyalty to your leadership, Allah has taught us the features of our religion and has set aright the spoiled items of our worldly lives. Through our loyalty to your leadership, the Word has been perfected, the grace has become great, and the discord has turned into alliance. Through our loyalty to your leadership, the obligatory obedience (to Allah) is accepted. To you alone are the obligatory affection, the elevated ranks, the praiseworthy standing, the renowned station with Allah the Almighty and All-majestic, the topmost prestige, the supreme station, and the admitted intercession.

میرے ماں باپ اور میری جان آپؑ پر قربان آپؑ کی دوستی کے وسیلے سے خدا نے ہمیں دینی تعلیمات عطا کی اور ہماری دنیا کے بگڑے کام سنوار دیے آپؑ کی ولایت کی بدولت کلمہ مکمل ہوا نعمتیں بڑھ گئیں اور آپس کی دوریاں مٹ گئیں آپؑ کی دوستی کے باعث اطاعتِ واجبہ قبول ہوتی ہے خدائے عزو جل کے ہاں آپؑ سے محبت رکھنا واجب ہے آپ کے لئے بلند درجے پسندیدہ مقام اور اونچا مرتبہ ہے نیز اس کے حضور آپؑ کی بڑی عزّت ہے بہت اونچی شان ہے اور آپؑ کی شفاعت قبول شدہ ہے۔

O our Lord, we believe in that which You have sent down and we follow the Messenger; so, write our names among those who bear witness. Our Lord, cause not our hearts to stray after You have guided us, and bestow upon us mercy from Your Presence. Lo! You, only You, are the Bestower Glory be to our Lord for in fact the promise of our Lord immediately takes effect.

اے ہمارے رب ہم ایمان لائے اس پر جو تو نے نازل کیا اور ہم نے رسول کی پیروی کی پس ہمیں گواہی دینے والوں میں لکھ لے اے ہمارے رب ہمارے دل ٹیڑھے نہ ہونے دے جب کہ تو نے ہمیں ہدایت دی اور ہم کو اپنی طرف سے رحمت عطاکر بے شک تو بہت عطا کرنے والا ہے پاک تر ہے ہمارا رب یقینًا ہمارے رب کاوعدہ پورا ہو گا۔

O vicegerent of Allah! There stand between me and Allah the Almighty and All-majestic, sins that cannot be demolished except by attaining your satisfaction. Therefore, [I beseech you] in the name of the One Who has entrusted you with His secret, assigned you to supervise the affairs of His creatures, and attached the obedience to Him with the obedience to you, to (please) endue me with the favor of absolving my sins and to be my intercessors, for I am obedient to you. He who obeys you has in fact obeyed Allah, he who disobeys you has in fact disobeyed Allah, he who loves you has in fact loved Allah, and he who hates you has in fact hated Allah.

اے ولی خدا بے شک میرے اور خدائے عز و جل کے درمیان گناہ حائل ہیں جو آپؑ چاہیں تومعاف ہو سکتے ہیں پس واسطہ اس کا جس نے آپ کو اپنا راز داں بنایا اپنی مخلوق کا معاملہ آپ کو سونپا آپ کی اطاعت اپنی اطاعت کے ساتھ واجب قرار دی آپ میرے گناہ معاف کروائیں اور میرے سفارشی بن جائیں کہ یقینًا میں آپ کا پیرو کار ہوں جس نے آپ کی پیروی کی تو اس نے خدا کی فرماں برداری کی اور جس نے آپ کی نافرمانی کی اس نےخدا کی نافرمانی کی جس نے آپؑ سے محبت کی تو اس نے خدا سے محبت کی اور جس نے آپؑ سے دشمنی کی اس نے خدا سے دشمنی کی۔

O Allah, had I known interceders that are closer to You than Muhammad and his Household the virtuous and pious Imams, I would have chosen them as my intercessors. So, (I beseech You) in the name of their Right that You have made obligatory upon You, (please) include me with the group of those who recognize their Right and them and with the assembly of those who are shown mercy owing to their (i.e. Muhammad and his Household) intercession. Verily, You are the most merciful of all those who show mercy. May Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and his immaculate Household and send His thorough peace upon them. Allah is Sufficient for us! Most Excellent is He in Whom we trust.

اے معبود! اگر میں حضرت محمدؐ اور ان کے اہل بیتؑ سے، جو نیک اور خوش کردار امامؑ ہیں، بڑھ کر تیرے مقرب سفارشی پاتا تو ضرور انہیں اپنا سفارشی بناتا پس ان کے حق کے واسطے سے جو تو نے خود پر لازم کر رکھا ہے تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ مجھے ان لوگوں میں داخل فرما جو ان کی اور ان کے حق کی معرفت رکھتے ہیں اور مجھے اس گروہ میں رکھ جس پر ان کی سفارش سے رحم کیا گیا ہے بے شک تو سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا ہے اور خدا محمدؐ پر اور ان کی پاکیزہ آلؑ پر درود بھیجے اور بہت بہت سلام بھیجے اور ہمارے لئے خدا کافی ہے جو بہترین کارساز ہے۔

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
