Ziyarat Imam Husain (a)
Imam Taqi (a) is reported to have said, “If one visits Imam Husain (a) at the 23rd night of Ramazan, at which every affair of wisdom is made clear, he will be shaken hands by the spirits of 24,000 prophets all of whom ask Almighty Allah to permit them to visit Imam Husain (a) at that night.”
امام محمد تقیؑ سے روایت ہے : ماہ رمضان کی تیئیسویں رات وہ رات ہے جس کے متعلق خیال کیا جاتا ہے کہ یہ شبِ قدر ہے اسی رات میں ہر امرِ محکم اور مقدّر ہوتا ہے۔ پس جو شخص اس شب میں امام حسینؑ کی زیارت کرے تو چوبیس ہزار پیغمبر اور فرشتے اس کے ساتھ مصافحہ کرتے ہیں کیوں کہ وہ اس رات حضرتؑ کی زیارت کرنے کے لئے خدائے تعالیٰ سے اجازت لے کر آتے ہیں۔
Imam Sadiq (a) has said, “At the Qadr Night, a caller from the 7th Sky will call out from the inside of the Divine Throne: Verily, Almighty Allah has forgiven anyone who will come to the tomb of Husain (a).”
امام جعفر صادقؑ سے روایت کی گئی ہے :جب شبِ قدر آتی ہے تو ساتویں آسمان پر عرش کے اندرونی حصے میں ایک منادی ندا دیتا ہے کہ خدائے تعالیٰ نے ہر ایسے شخص کو بخش دیا جو حسین ابن علیؑ کی زیارت کے لئے آیا ہے۔ ایک اور روایت میں ہے : جو شخص شب قدر میں قبرِ امام حسینؑ پر ہو اور اس کے قریب تر یا اس کے پاس جہاں بھی جگہ ملے دو رکعت نماز بجا لائے پھر حق تعالیٰ سے بہشت کا سوال کرے اور آتشِ جہنم سے پناہ طلب کرے تو اس کا سوالِ جنت پورا کرے گا اور جہنم سے پناہ عطا فرمائے گا۔
Ibn Qawlawayh has reported Imam Sadiq (a) as saying, “One who is on his way to visit the tomb of Husain ibn Ali (a) in the month of Ramazan but he dies there, he shall be neither stopped for interrogation nor called to account. Moreover, he shall be allowed to enter Paradise without being exposed to horror.”
ابن قولویہؒ نے امام جعفر صادقؑ سے روایت کی ہے: جو شخص ماہ مبارک میں امام حسینؑ کی زیارت کرے اور درمیانِ راہ مر جائے تو اس کاحساب وغیرہ نہیں ہو گا اور اس سے کہاجائے گا کہ بے خوف و خطر جنت میں داخل ہو جاؤ۔ باقی رہا اس زیارت کا متن یعنی اس کے الفاظ و کلمات جو شبِ قدر میں امام حسینؑ کے لئے پڑھی جاتی ہے اور اس کا ذکر شیخ مفیدؒ شیخ محمد ابن المشہدیؒ، سیدابن طاؤسؒ اور شہیدؒ نے کتب مزار میں کیا ہے اور اس زیارت کوشبِ قدر،عید الفطر و عید الاضحیٰ کے لئے مخصوص قرار دیا ہے۔

نیز شیخ محمد ابن المشہدیؒ نے اپنی معتبر اسناد کے ساتھ امام جعفر صادقؑ سے روایت کی ہے کہ آپ نے فرمایا: جب تم ابی عبداللہ الحسینؑ کی زیارت کا ارادہ کرو تو غسل کر کے پاکیزہ لباس پہنو، پھر حضرتؑ کی ضریح پاک کی طرف جاؤ اور اس کے نزدیک کھڑے ہو کر حضرتؑ کی طرف رخ کرو اس طرح کہ قبلہ کو اپنے دونوں کندھوں کے درمیان قرار دے کر کہو۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ اَمِیْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ الصِّدِّیْقَۃِ الطَّاھِرَۃِ فَاطِمَۃَ سَیِّدَۃِ نِسَآءِ الْعَالَمِیْنَ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَامَوْلَایَ یَااَبَا عَبْدِ اللہِ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ۔
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa ibna rasooli allaah.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa ibna ameeri al-mu'mineen.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa ibna as-siddeeqati at-taahirati faatimata sayyidati nisaa'i al-'aalameen.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa mawlaaya yaa abaa 'abdi allaahi warahmatu allaahi wabarakaatuh.
Peace be upon you, O son of Allah’s Messenger. Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful. Peace be upon you, O son of the veracious, immaculate lady Fatimah the Doyenne of the women of the world. Peace be upon you, O my master Abu Abdullah. So be upon you Allah’s mercy and blessings.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے رسولؐ خداکے فرزند! آپ پر سلام ہو اے امیرالمومنینؑ کے فرزند! آپ پر سلام ہو اے فاطمہؑ کے فرزند جو بہت سچی پاکیزہ اور تمام جہانوں کی عورتوں کی سردار ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے میرے مولا اے ابا عبداللہؑ خدا کی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکات ہوں۔
اَشْھَدُ اَنَّكَ قَدْ اَقَمْتَ الصَّلٰوۃَ وَاٰتَیْتَ الزَّكٰوۃَ وَاَمَرْتَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَنَھَیْتَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَتَلَوْتَ الْكِتَابَ حَقَّ تِلَاوَتِهٖ وَجَاھَدْتَ فِی اللہِ حَقَّ جِھَادِهٖ وَصَبَرْتَ عَلَی الْاَذٰی فِیْ جَنْۢبِهٖ مُحْتَسِبًا حَتّٰی اَتٰیكَ الْیَقِیْنُ۔
Ashhadu annaka qad aqamta as-salaata wa-aatayta az-zakaata wa-amarta bil-ma'roofi wanahayta 'ani al-munkari watalawta al-kitaaba haqqa tilaawatihee wajaahadta fee allaahi haqqa jihaadihee wasabarta 'alaa al-azaa fee janbihee muhtasiban hattaa ataaka al-yaqeen.
I bear witness that you performed the prayers, defrayed the poor-rate, enjoined the right, forbade the wrong, recited the Book (i.e. the Holy Qur’an) as exactly as it should be recited, strove for the sake of Allah as exactly as striving must be, and faced all troubles steadfastly for His sake, seeking his reward, until death came upon you.
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ نے نماز قائم کی اور زکوٰۃ دی آپ نے نیک کاموں کا حکم دیا اور برے کاموں سے منع کیا آپ نے تلاوتِ قران کی جو تلاوت کا حق ہے آپ نے خدا کی راہ میں جہاد کیا جو جہاد کا حق ہے اور آپ نے خدا کی خاطر دکھوں پر صبر کیا اجر کی امیدمیں حتی کہ آپ نے شہادت پائی۔
اَشْھَدُ اَنَّ الَّذِیْنَ خَالَفُوْكَ وَحَارَبُوْكَ وَالَّذِیْنَ خَذَلُوْكَ وَالَّذِیْنَ قَتَلُوْكَ مَلْعُوْنُوْنَ عَلٰی لِسَانِ النَّبِیِّ الْاُمِّیِّ وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنِ افْتَرٰی لَعَنَ اللہُ الظَّالِمِیْنَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ وَالْاٰخِرِیْنَ وَضَاعَفَ عَلَیْھِمُ الْعَذَابَ الْاَلِیْمَ۔
Ashhadu anna allazeena khaalafooka wahaarabooka wallazeena khazalooka wallazeena qatalooka mal'oonoona 'alaa lisaani an-nabiyyi al-ummiyyi waqad khaaba mani iftaraa la'ana allaahu az-zaalimeena lakum mina al-awwaleena wal-aakhireena wadaa'afa 'alayhimu al-'azaaba al-aleem.
I also bear witness that those who dissented you, those who fought against you, those who let you down, and those who slew you (all those) were accursed directly by the Unlettered Prophet. And he who forges lies indeed fails to attain his desire. May Allah curse those who wronged you from amongst the past and the present generations. May Allah also double for them the painful torment.
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ جنہوں نے آپ کی مخالفت کی اور آپ سے لڑے نیز جنہوں نے آپ کا ساتھ نہ دیا اور جنہوں نے آپ کو قتل کیاوہ سب ملعون قراردیئے گئے نبی امی کی زبان سے یقینًا وہ ناکام رہا جس نے جھوٹا دعویٰ کیا خدا کی لعنت ہو ان پر جنہوں نے آپ پر ظلم کیا ہے اولین وآخرین میں سے اور دگنا ہو ان پر درد ناک عذاب۔
اَتَیْتُكَ یَامَوْلَایَ یَابْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ زَآئِرًا عَارِفًا بِحَقِّكَ مُوَالِیًا لِاَوْلِیَآئِكَ مُعَادِیًا لِاَعْدَآئِكَ مُسْتَبْصِرًا بِالْھُدَی الَّذِیْ اَنْتَ عَلَیْهِ عَارِفًا بِضَلَالَۃِ مَنْ خَالَفَكَ فَاشْفَعْ لِیْ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ۔
Ataytuka yaa mawlaaya yaa ibna rasooli allaahi zaa'iran 'aarifan bihaqqika muwaaliyan li-awliyaa'ika mu'aadiyan li-a'daa'ika mustabsiran bil-hudaa allazee anta 'alayhi 'aarifan bidalaalati man khaalafaka fashfa' lee 'inda rabbik.
O my master and son of Allah’s Messenger, I have come to you visiting you, acknowledging the standing that you enjoy, declaring my loyalty to those who are loyal to you, renouncing your enemies, seeking to follow the true guidance that you are following, and recognizing the deviation of those who oppose you; so, (please) intercede for me before your Lord.
میں آپ کے ہاں آیا اے میرے مولا اے رسولِ خداؐ کے فرزند زیارت کرنے آیاآپ کاحق پہچانتے ہوئے آپ کے دوستوں سے دوستی آپ کے دشمن سے دشمنی رکھتے ہوئے اس راستے کو درست جانتے ہوئے جس پر آپ چلے اور اسے گمراہ سمجھتے ہوئے جس نے آپ سے مخالفت کی پس اپنے رب کے ہاں میری سفارش کریں۔
You may then kiss the tomb, put your cheek on it, move yourself towards the place of the head and recite…
اس کے بعد زائر خود کو قبر مبارک سے لپٹائے اور اپنا منہ اس پر رکھے پھر سرہانے کی طرف جاکر کہے۔۔۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَاحُجَّۃَ اللہِ فِیْ اَرْضِهٖ وَسَمَآئِهٖ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلٰی رُوْحِكَ الطَّیِّبِ وَجَسَدِكَ الطَّاھِرِ وَعَلَیْكَ السَّلَامُ یَامَوْلَایَ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَ بَرَكَاتُهٗ۔
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa hujjata allaahi fee ardihee wasamaa'ihee sallaa allaahu 'alaa roohika at-tayyibi wajasadika at-taahiri wa'alayka as-salaamu yaa mawlaaya warahmatu allaahi wa barakaatuh.
Peace be upon you, O Argument of Allah in His lands and heavens. May Allah bless your immaculate spirit and your pure body. Peace and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you, O my master.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے خدا کی حجت! اس کی زمین اور اس کے آسمان میں خدا رحمت کرے آپ کی پاکیزہ روح پر اور آپ کے پاک جسم پراور آپ پر سلام ہو اے میرے مولا خدا کی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکات ہوں۔
Then pray 2 rakats namaz at the head side of Imam Husain (a)'s grave.
اب پھر سے خود کو قبرِ مبارک سے لپٹائے اس پر بوسہ دے اور اپنا چہرہ اس پر رکھ دے، اس کے بعد سرہانے کی طرف جاکر اور ۲ رکعت نماز زیارت ادا کرے اس کے بعد وہاںمزید جتنی چاہے نماز پڑھے۔

پھر قبر مبارک کی پائینتی کی طرف جائے اور حضرت علی اکبرؑ کی زیارت کرکے کہے۔۔۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَامَوْلَایَ وَابْنَ مَوْلَایَ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ وَلَعَنَ اللہُ مَنْ ظَلَمَكَ وَلَعَنَ اللہُ مَنْ قَتَلَكَ وَضَاعَفَ عَلَیْھِمُ الْعَذَابَ الْاَلِیْمَ۔
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa mawlaaya wabna mawlaaya warahmatu allaahi wabarakaatuhoo wala'ana allaahu man zalamaka wala'ana allaahu man qatalaka wadaa'afa 'alayhimu al-'azaaba al-aleem.
Peace be upon you, O my master and son of my master. So be upon you Allah’s mercy and blessings. May Allah curse those who wronged you. May Allah curse those who slew you. May Allah double the painful chastisement for them.

پھر دیگر شہداء کربلاء کی زیارت کے لئے قبر کی پائینتی سے قبلہ کی طرف رُخ کرکے یوں کہے۔۔۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ اَیُّھَا الصِّدِّیْقُوْنَ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ اَیُّھَا الشُّھَدَآءُ الصَّابِرُوْنَ۔
اَشْھَدُ اَنَّكُمْ جَاھَدْتُمْ فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللہِ وَصَبَرْتُمْ عَلَی الْاَذٰی فِیْ جَنْبِ اللہِ وَنَصَحْتُمْ لِلهِ وَلِرَسُوْلِهٖ حَتّٰی اَتٰیكُمُ الْیَقِیْنُ اَشْھَدُ اَنَّكُمْ اَحْیَآءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْزَقُوْنَ فَجَزَاكُمُ اللہُ عَنِ الْاِسْلَامِ وَاَھْلِهٖ اَفْضَلَ جَزَآءِ الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ وَجَمَعَ بَیْنَنَا وَبَیْنَكُمْ فِیْ مَحَلِّ النَّعِیْمِ۔
As-salaamu 'alaykum ayyuhaa as-siddeeqoon.
As-salaamu 'alaykum ayyuhaa ash-shuhadaa'u as-saabiroon.
Ashhadu annakum jaahadtum fee sabeeli allaahi wasabartum 'alaa al-azaa fee janbi allaahi wanasahtum lillaahi walirasoolihee hattaa ataakumu al-yaqeenu ashhadu annakum ahyaa'un 'inda rabbikum turzaqoona fajazaakumu allaahu 'ani al-islaami wa-ahlihee afdala jazaa'i al-muhsineena wajama'a baynanaa wabaynakum fee mahalli an-na'eem.
Peace be upon you, O veracious ones. Peace be upon you, O steadfast martyrs. I bear witness that you strove in the way of Allah, acted patiently against harm for the sake of Allah, and did sincerely for the sake of Allah and His Messenger until death came upon you. I bear witness that you are alive and are being provided sustenance from your Lord. May Allah reward you with the best reward of the good-doers on behalf of Islam and its people and may He join us to you in the abode of bliss.
سلام ہو آپ سب پر اے سچو!سلام ہو آپ پر اے شہیدو! جو بہت صبر کرنے والے ہومیں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ یقینًا آپ نے خدا کی راہ میں جہاد کیا اور خدا کی خاطر دکھ تکلیف پر صبرسے کام لیا آپ نے خدا و رسولؐ سے خلوص برتا حتی کہ دنیا سے گزر گئے میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ ضرور آپ اپنے رب کے ہاں زندہ ہیں رزق پاتے ہیں پس خدا تمہیں جزا دے اسلام اور اہلِ اسلام کی طرف سے بہترین جزا جو نیکو کاروں کے لئے ہے اور یکجا کرے ہمیں اور تم کونعمتوں والی جنت کے مکانوں میں۔
You should then return to the place near the head of Imam Husain (a), offer 2 rakat namaze ziyarat, supplicate Almighty Allah as much as you can, and pray for yourself, your family members, your parents, and your friends, because any prayer in the holy shrine of Imam Husain (a) shall never be rejected.
اس کے بعد امام حسینؑ کے سرہانے کی طرف آ جائے اور وہاں اپنے فرزندوں اپنے ماں باپ اور بہن بھائیوں کے لئے بہت زیادہ دعائیں مانگے کیوں کہ امام حسینؑ کے روضۂ مبارک پر دعا کرنے والے کی دعا اور سوال کرنے والے کا سوال رد نہیں کیا جاتا۔

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ اَمِیْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ اَیُّھَا الْعَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ الْمُطِیْعُ لِلهِ وَلِرَسُوْلِهٖ۔
اَشْھَدُ اَنَّكَ قَدْ جَاھَدْتَ وَنَصَحْتَ وَصَبَرْتَ حَتّٰی اَتٰیكَ الْیَقِیْنُ لَعَنَ اللہُ الظَّالِمِیْنَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الْاَوَّلِیْنَ وَالْاٰخِرِیْنَ وَاَلْحَقَھُمْ بِدَرَكِ الْجَحِیْم۔
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa ibna ameeri al-mu'mineen.
As-salaamu 'alayka ayyuhaa al-'abdu as-saalihu al-mutee'u lillaahi walirasoolih.
Ashhadu annaka qad jaahadta wanasahta wasabarta hattaa ataaka al-yaqeenu la'ana allaahu az-zaalimeena lakum mina al-awwaleena wal-aakhireena wal-haqahum bidaraki al-jaheem.
Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful. Peace be upon you, O righteous servant (of Allah) and obedient to Allah and to His Messenger. I bear witness that you strove (in the way of Allah), acted sincerely, and tolerated (harm) until death came upon you. May Allah curse those who wronged you from the past and the present generations and may He send them to the lowest layer of the blazing Hell.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے امیر المومنین کے فرزند! آپ پر سلام ہو اے بندۂ خوش کردار خدا اوراس کے رسولؐ کے اطاعت گزار میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ ضرور آپ نے جہاد کیا خیر اندیشی کی اور صبر سے کام لیا حتی کہ آپ دنیا سے چل بسے خدا کی لعنت ہو ان پر جنہوں نے آپ پر ظلم ڈھایا اولین و آخرین میں سے اور خدا ان کو جہنم کے نچلے درجے میں پھینکے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
