Imam Husain (a) Ziyarat on Eid-ul-Fitr & Eid-ul-Azha
According to a validly reported tradition on the authority of a valid chain of authority, Imam Sadiq (a) has said, “Whoever visits the tomb of Imam Husain (a) at one of the following 3 nights, will have all his sins forgiven by Almighty Allah, including the past and the coming: Eve of Eid al-Fitr, Eve of EId al-Azha, and the Eve of 15th Shaban.”
معتبر سند کے ساتھ امام جعفر صادقؑ سے نقل ہوا ہے کہ جو شخص تین راتوں میں سے کسی ایک رات کوروضۂ امام حسینؑ کی زیارت کرے تو اس کے گزشتہ اور آئندہ گناہ بخش دیے جاتے ہیں اور وہ عید الفطر کی رات، عید قربان کی رات اور پندرہ شعبان کی رات ہے۔
According to another validly reported tradition, Imam Musa Kazim (a) has said, “Whoever visits Imam Husain (a) at these 3 nights, will have all his sins forgiven by Almighty Allah, both the past and the coming: the Eve of 15th Shaban, the Eve of 23rd Ramazan, and the Eve of Eid al-Fitr.”
معتبر روایت میں امام موسیٰ کاظمؑ سے نقل ہوا ہے : جو شخص تین راتوں میں سے کسی ایک رات امام حسینؑ کی زیارت کرے تو اس کے گزشتہ و آئندہ گناہ معاف ہو جاتے ہیں اور وہ راتیں پندرہ شعبان، تیئیس رمضان اور عید الفطر کی رات ہیں۔
Imam Sadiq (a) is reported to have said, “If one visits Husain ibn Ali (a) on the Eve of 15th Shaban, the Eve of Eid al-Fitr, and the Eve of Arafat in the same year, Almighty Allah will record for him the reward of 1000 times of admissible Hajj and 1000 times of acceptable Umrah and will grant him 1000 requests for this world and the Hereafter.”
امام جعفر صادقؑ سے نقل ہوا ہے : جو شخص ایک ہی سال میں پندرہ شعبان، عید الفطر اور شب عرفہ (نویں ذی الحجہ کی شب) میں امام حسینؑ کی زیارت کرے تو حق تعالیٰ اس کے لئے ایک ہزار حج مقبول اور ایک ہزار عمرۂ مقبولہ کا ثواب لکھتا ہے دنیا و آخرت میں اس کی ایک ہزار حاجات پوری ہوتی ہیں۔
Imam Baqir (a) is reported to have said, “Whoever spends the Arafat Night in the land of Karbala’ and stays there until the day of Eid al-Adha and then leaves, Almighty Allah shall save him from the evils of that year.”
امام محمد باقرؑ سے منقول ہے : جو شخص شبِ عرفہ سرزمین کربلا میں ہو اور روزِ عید قربان تک وہیں رہے اور پھر واپس چلا جائے تو خدائے تعالیٰ اس سال میں رونما ہونے والے شر سے اس کو محفوظ فرمائے گا۔
Sayyid Ibn Tawus and Muhammad ibn Mashhadi said, “If you do all these devotional acts (correctly), you will be as if you have visited Almighty Allah in His Divine Throne.”
سید ابن طاؤسؒ اور شیخ محمد ابن المشہدیؒ فرماتے ہیں: جو زائر اس طرح عمل کرے گا تو گویا وہ اس شخص کے مثل ہے جس نے خدائے تعالیٰ کی عرش پر زیارت کی ہو۔

جب کوئی شخص ان راتوں میں امام حسینؑ کی زیارت کا ارادہ کرے تو حضرتؑ کے قبۂ مبارک کے دروازے پر کھڑا ہو جائے ضریح پاک پر نظر رکھے اور داخل ہونے کی اجازت طلب کرتے ہوئے یوں کہے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
یَا مَوْلَایَ یَا اَبَا عَبْدِ اللہِ یَابْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ اَمَتِكَ الذَّلِیْلُ بَیْنَ یَدَیْكَ وَالْمُصَغَّرُ فِیْ عُلُوِّ قَدْرِكَ وَالْمُعْتَرِفُ بِحَقِّكَ جَآئَكَ مُسْتَجِیْرًا بِكَ قَاصِدًا اِلٰی حَرَمِكَ مُتَوَجِّهًا اِلٰی مَقَامِكَ مُتَوَسِّلًا اِلَی اللہِ تَعَالٰی بِكَ ءَاَدْخُلُ یَا مَوْلَایَ ءَاَدْخُلُ یَا وَلِیَّ اللہِ ءَاَدْخُلُ یَا مَلَآئِكَۃَ اللہِ الْمُحْدِقِیْنَ بِهٰذَا الْحَرَمِ الْمُقِیْمِیْنَ فِیْ هٰذَا الْمَشْهَدِ۔
Yaa mawlaaya yaa abaa 'abdi allaahi yaa ibna rasooli allaahi 'abduka wabnu amatika az-zaleelu bayna yadayka wal-musaghgharu fee 'uluwwi qadrika wal-mu'tarifu bihaqqika jaa'aka mustajeeran bika qaasidan ilaa haramika mutawajjihan ilaa maqaamika mutawassilan ilaa allaahi ta'aalaa bika a'adkhulu yaa mawlaaya a'adkhulu yaa waliyya allaahi a'adkhulu yaa malaa'ikata allaahi al-muhdiqeena bihaazaa al-harami al-muqeemeena fee haazaa al-mashhad.
O my master! O Aba Abdullah! O son of Allah’s Messenger! I, your slave and son of your slave and your bondwoman, who stand submissively before you, who is worth nothing in comparison with your elevated esteem, and who admits your right (that is incumbent upon us) have come to you, seeking your shelter, heading for your sanctuary, turning my face towards Your place, and beseeching Allah in your name. May I enter, O my master? May I enter, O intimate servant of Allah? May I enter, O Allah’s angels who surround this sanctuary and reside in this shrine?
اے میرے آقا اے ابا عبداللہؑ اے رسول خداؐ کے فرزند! آپ کا غلام اور آپ کی کنیز کا بیٹاآپ کے سامنے بے حیثیت آپ کے بلند مرتبہ کے مقابل ناچیز اور آپ کے حق کا اقرار کرنے والا آپ کے پاس پناہ لینے آیا ہے آپ کے حرم کی طرف سفر کرکے پہنچا آپ کے مقام کی طرف رخ کیے ہوئے خدا کے حضور آپ کو اپنا وسیلہ بناتا ہے اندر آ جاؤں اے میرے مولا ؟کیا اندر آجاؤں اے ولی خدا؟ کیا اندر آ جاؤں اے فرشتو؟ جو اس حرم کے گرد موجود ہو اس زیارت گاہ میں مقیم ہو۔
Then if your heart softens and tears flow from your eyes you should enter with your right foot forward and say…
اب اگر زائر کے دل میں خوف پیدا ہوجائے اور آنکھوں میں آنسو آ جائیں تو سمجھے کہ اجازت مل گئی،اب اندر داخل ہو جائے پہلے دایاں پاؤں اندر رکھے پھر بایاں اور کہے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ وَبِاللہِ وَفِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللہِ وَعَلٰی مِلَّۃِ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اَنْزِلْنِیْ مُنْزَلًا مُّبَارَكًا وَّاَنْتَ خَیْرُ الْمُنْزِلِیْنَ۔
Bismi allaahi wabillaahi wafee sabeeli allaahi wa'alaa millati rasooli allaah.
Allaahumma anzilnee munzalan mubaarakan wa-anta khayru al-munzileen.
In the Name of Allah (I begin), in Allah (I trust), on the way of Allah (I proceed), and the norm of the Messenger of Allah (I follow). O Allah, (please do) enable me to reside blessedly and You are the best of those who enable to reside.
خدا کے نام سے خدا کی ذات سے خدا کی راہ میں اور رسول خداؐ کے دین و آئین پر اے معبود! جگہ دے مجھ کو بابرکت مکان میں اور تو ہے بہترین میزبان۔

پھر کہے۔۔۔
اَللهُ اَكْبَرُ كَبِیْرًا۔
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ كَثِیْرًا۔
وَسُبْحَانَ اللہِ بُكْرَۃً وَاَصِیْلًا۔
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الْفَرْدِ الصَّمَدِ الْمَاجِدِ الْاَحَدِ الْمُتَفَضِّلِ الْمَنَّانِ الْمُتَطَوِّلِ الْحَنَّانِ الَّذِیْ مِنْ تَطَوُّلِهٖ سَهَّلَ لِیْ زِیَارَۃَ مَوْلَایَ بِاِحْسَانِهٖ وَلَمْ یَجْعَلْنِیْ عَنْ زِیَارَتِهٖ مَمْنُوْعًا وَلَا عَنْ ذِمَّتِهٖ مَدْفُوْعًا بَلْ تَطَوَّلَ وَمَنَحَ۔
Allaahu akbaru kabeeraa.
Wal-hamdu lillaahi katheeraa.
Wasubhaana allaahi bukratan wa-aseelaa.
Wal-hamdu lillaahi al-fardi as-samadi al-maajidi al-ahadi al-mutafaddili al-mannaani al-mutatawwili al-hannaani allazee min tatawwulihee sahhala lee ziyaarata mawlaaya bi-ihsaanihee walam yaj'alnee 'an ziyaaratihee mamnoo'an walaa 'an zimmatihee madfoo'an bal tatawwala wamanah.
Allah is greatly the Most Great. All praise be to Allah abundantly. Glory be to Allah in morns and eves. All praise be to Allah the Single, the Absolute, the Glorious, the One and Only, the All-obliging, the All-benefactor, the Donor, the All-compassionate Who, out of His conferral (upon us) with His bequests, has made easy for me to visit my master out of His beneficence, Who has not included me with those who are prevented from visiting him or those who are rejected from being under his inviolability; rather, He has bestowed upon me and donated me (this favor).
خدا بزرگ تر ہے بزرگی کے ساتھ اور حمد ہے خدا کے لئے بہت بہت پاک تر ہے خدا ہر صبح اور ہر شام اور حمد ہے خدا کے لئے جو تنہا بے نیاز بزرگی والا یگانہ فضل کرنے والااحسان کے ساتھ بہت عطا کرنے والا محبت کے ساتھ وہ جس کی عطا اور احسان سے میرے مولا کی زیارت میرے لئے آسان ہوئی اس نے مجھے ان کی زیارت کرنے سے نہیں روکا اور ان کی پناہ سے محروم نہیں کیا بلکہ اس نے عطا و بخشش سے کام لیا۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
You may then enter the shrine. When you reach its center, you may stop near the tomb with reverence, weeping, and submission, and say…
اب اندر جائے اور جب روضہ کے درمیان پہنچے تو قبرکے سامنے گریہ کرتے ہوئے عاجزی سے کھڑے ہو کر کہے۔۔۔

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا وَارِثَ مُوْسٰی كَلِیْمِ اللہِ۔
اَلسَّلامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا وَارِثَ عِیْسٰی رُوْحِ اللہِ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا وَارِثَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ حَبِیْبِ اللہِ۔
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa waaritha aadama safwati allaah.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa waaritha noohin ameeni allaah.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa waaritha ibraaheema khaleeli allaah.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa waaritha moosaa kaleemi allaah.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa waaritha 'eesaa roohi allaah.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa waaritha muhammadin sallaa allaahu 'alayhi wa-aalihee habeebi allaah.
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Adam the choice of Allah. Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Noah the trustee of Allah. Peace be upon you O inheritor of Abraham the Friend of Allah. Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Moses the spoken by Allah. Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Jesus the spirit of Allah. Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Muhammad, blessings of Allah be upon him and his Household, the most-beloved of Allah.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے آدمؑ کے وارث جو خدا کے چنے ہوئے ہیں! آپ پر سلام ہو اے نوحؑ کے وارث جو خدا کے امین ہیں سلام ہوآپ پر اے ابراہیمؑ کے وارث جو خدا کے خلیل ہیں سلام ہو آپ پر اے موسیٰؑ کے وارث جو خدا کے کلیم ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے عیسیٰؑ کے وارث جو خدا کی روح ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے محمدؐ کے وارث جو خدا کے حبیب ہیں۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا وَارِثَ عَلِیٍّ حُجَّۃِ اللہِ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ اَیُّهَا الْوَصِیُّ الْبَرُّ التَّقِیُّ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا ثَارَ اللہِ وَابْنَ ثَارِهٖ وَالْوِتْرَ الْمَوْتُوْرَ۔
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ قَدْ اَقَمْتَ الصَّلوٰۃَ وَاٰتَیْتَ الزَّكٰوۃَ وَاَمَرْتَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَنَهَیْتَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَجَاهَدْتَ فِی اللہِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهٖ حَتَّی اسْتُبِیْحَ حَرَمُكَ وَقُتِلْتَ مَظْلُوْمًا۔
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa waaritha 'aliyyin hujjati allaah.
As-salaamu 'alayka ayyuhaa al-wasiyyu al-barru at-taqiyy.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa thaara allaahi wabna thaarihee wal-witra al-mawtoor.
Ashhadu annaka qad aqamta as-salwaata wa-aatayta az-zakaata wa-amarta bil-ma'roofi wanahayta 'ani al-munkari wajaahadta fee allaahi haqqa jihaadihee hattaa ustubeeha haramuka waqutilta mazloomaa.
Peace be upon you, O inheritor of Ali the Argument of Allah. Peace be upon you, O obedient and pious successor. Peace be upon you, O vengeance of Allah, son of His vengeance, and the unavenged so far. I bear witness that you performed the prayers, defrayed the poor-rate, enjoined the right, forbade the evil, and strove for the sake of Allah as exactly as strife must be until your inviolability was violated and you were slain wrongfully.
سلام ہوآپ پر اے علیؑ کے وارث جو حجتِ خدا ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے وصی نیک پرہیز گار آپ پر سلام ہو اے قربانِ خدااور قربانِ خدا کے فرزند اور وہ خون جس کا بدلہ لیا جانا ہے میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ نے نماز قائم کی اور زکوٰۃ ادا کی آپ نے نیک کاموں کا حکم دیابرے کاموں سے منع کیا اور راہِ خدا میں جہاد کیا جو جہاد کرنے کاحق ہے یہاں تک کہ آپ کی بے احترامی ہوئی اور مظلومی میں قتل ہو گئے۔

پھر حضرتؑ کے روضۂ مبارک کےسرہانے دل کی رقّت کے ساتھ روتے ہوئے کہے۔۔۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا اَبَا عَبْدِ اللہِ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ۔
السَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ سَیِّدِ الْوَصِیِّیْنَ۔
السَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ فَاطِمَۃَ الزَّهْرَآءِ سَیِّدَۃِ نِسَآءِ الْعَالَمِیْنَ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا بَطَلَ الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ ۔
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa abaa 'abdi allaah.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa ibna rasooli allaah.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa ibna sayyidi al-wasiyyeen.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa ibna faatimata az-zahraa'i sayyidati nisaa'i al-'aalameen.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa batala al-muslimeena .
Peace be upon you, O Aba Abdullah. Peace be upon you, O son of Allah’s Messenger. Peace be upon you, O son of the chief of the prophets’ successors. Peace be upon you, O son of Fatimah the luminous lady and the leader of the women of the worlds. Peace be upon you, O hero of Muslims.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے ابا عبداللہؑ!آپ پر سلام ہو اے رسولؐ خدا کے فرزند سلام ہو آپ پر اے اوصیا کے سردار کے فرزند سلام ہو آپ پر اے فاطمہ زہراؑ کے فرزند جو جہانوں کی عورتوں کی سردار ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے مسلمانوں میں بڑے بہادر۔
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ كُنْتَ نُوْرًا فِیْ الْاَصْلَابِ الشَّامِخَۃِ وَالْاَرْحَامِ الْمُطَهَّرَۃِ لَمْ تُنَجِّسْكَ الْجَاهِلِیَّۃُ بِاَنْجَاسِهَا وَلَمْ تُلْبِسْكَ مِنْ مُّدْلَهِمَّاتِ ثِیَابِهَا۔
وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ مِنْ دَعَآئِمِ الدِّیْنِ وَاَرْكَانِ الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ وَمَعْقِلِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ۔
Ashhadu annaka kunta nooran fee al-aslaabi ash-shaamikhati wal-arhaami al-mutahharati lam tunajjiska al-jaahiliyyatu bi-anjaasihaa walam tulbiska min mudlahimmaati thiyaabihaa.
Wa-ashhadu annaka min da'aa'imi ad-deeni wa-arkaani al-muslimeena wama'qili al-mu'mineen.
O my master, I bear witness that You were light in the lofty loins and purified wombs. The ignorance could not stain you with its impurities or dress you its gloomy garbs. I also bear witness that you are one of the pillars of the religion, the supports of Muslims, and the havens of the faithful believers.
اے میرے مولا میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ نور کی صورت میں رہے عزّت والی پشتوں اور پاکیزہ رحموں میں جاہلیت نے آپ کو اپنی نجاستوں سے آلودہ نہیں کیا اور نہ اس نے آپ پر برے اثرات ڈالے میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ دین کے ستونوںمسلمانوں کے سرداروں اور مومنوں کے قلعوں میں سے ہیں۔
وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ الْاِمَامُ الْبَرُّ التَّقِیُّ الرَّضِیُّ الزَّكِیُّ الْهَادِیْ الْمَهْدِیُّ۔
وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ الْاَئِمَّۃَ مِنْ وُلْدِكَ كَلِمَۃُ التَّقْوٰی وَاَعْلَامُ الْهُدٰی وَالْعُرْوَۃُ الْوُثْقٰی وَالْحُجَّۃُ عَلٰی اَهْلِ الدُّنْیَا۔
Wa-ashhadu annaka al-imaamu al-barru at-taqiyyu ar-radiyyu az-zakiyyu al-haadee al-mahdiyy.
Wa-ashhadu anna al-a'immata min wuldika kalimatu at-taqwaa wa-a'laamu al-hudaa wal-'urwatu al-wuthqaa wal-hujjatu 'alaa ahli ad-dunyaa.
I also bear witness that you are the God-fearing, pious, pleased, pure, guide, and well-guided Imam. I also bear witness that the Imams from your progeny are the spokesmen of piety, the signs of guidance, the firmest handle (of Islam), and the arguments against the inhabitants of this world.
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ امام نیکو کارپرہیزگار پسندیدہ پاکیزہ رہبر راہ یافتہ ہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ جوائمہ آپ کی اولاد میں سے ہیں وہ پرہیز گاری کے پیام ہدایت کے نشان خدا کی مضبوط رسی اور اہلِ دنیا پر اس کی حجت ہیں۔

اِنَّا لِلهِ وَاِنَّا اِلَیْهِ رَاجِعُوْنَ یَا مَوْلَایَ اَنَا مُوَالٍ لِوَلِیِّكُمْ وَمُعَادٍ لِعَدُوِّكُمْ وَاَنَا بِكُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ وَبِاِیَابِكُمْ مُوْقِنٌ بِشَرَایِعِ دِیْنِیْ وَخَوَاتِیْمِ عَمَلِیْ وَقَلْبِیْ لِقَلْبِكُمْ سِلْمٌ وَاَمْرِیْ لِاَمْرِكُمْ مُتَّبِعٌ یَا مَوْلَایَ اَتَیْتُكَ خَآئِفًا فَآمِنِّیْ وَاَتَیْتُكَ مُسْتَجِیْرًا فَاَجِرْنِیْ وَاَتَیْتُكَ فَقِیْرًا فَاَغْنِنِیْ۔
Innaa lillaahi wa-innaa ilayhi raaji'oona yaa mawlaaya anaa muwaalin liwaliyyikum wamu'aadin li'aduwwikum wa-anaa bikum mu'minun wabi-iyaabikum mooqinun bisharaayi'i deenee wakhawaateemi 'amalee waqalbee liqalbikum silmun wa-amree li-amrikum muttabi'un yaa mawlaaya ataytuka khaa'ifan fa-aaminnee wa-ataytuka mustajeeran fa-ajirnee wa-ataytuka faqeeran fa-aghninee.
To Allah we belong and to Him is our return. O my master, I am loyal to your loyalists and enemy of your enemies. I also believe in you all and in your Return and I have full confidence in the laws of my religion and in the seals of my deeds. My heart is at peace with your heart and all my affairs are following your commands. O my master, I have come to you fearful; so, (please) secure me. I have come to you seeking shelter; so, (please) grant me shelter. I have come to you deprived; so, (please) grant me wealth.
یقینًا ہم خدا کے ہیں اور اسی کی طرف پلٹنے والے ہیں اے میرے مولا میں آپ کے دوست کا دوست اور آپ کے دشمن کا دشمن ہوں آپ کا اور آپ کی رجعت کا معتقد ہوں میں یقین رکھتاہوں اپنے دین کے احکام اور اپنے عمل کے بدلے پر میرا دل آپ کے دل سے متصل اور میرا مقصد آپ کے مقصد کی پیروی ہے اے میرے مولا آپ کے پاس ڈرتا ہوا آیا ہوں مجھے تسلی دیں آپ کے پاس پناہ لینے آیا ہوں مجھے پناہ دیں اور آپ کے پاس محتاج ہو کر آیا ہوں مالا مال کریں۔
سَیِّدِیْ وَمَوْلَایَ اَنْتَ مَوْلَایَ حُجَّۃُ اللہِ عَلَی الْخَلْقِ اَجْمَعِیْنَ اٰمَنْتُ بِسِرِّكُمْ وَعَلَانِیَّتِكُمْ وَبِظَاهِرِكُمْ وَبَاطِنِكُمْ وَاَوَّلِكُمْ وَآخِرِكُمْ۔
وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ التَّالِیْ لِكِتَابِ اللہِ وَاَمِیْنُ اللہِ الدَّاعِیْ اِلَی اللہِ بِالْحِكْمَۃِ وَالْمَوْعِظَۃِ الْحَسَنَۃِ۔
لَعَنَ اللہُ اُمَّۃً ظَلَمَتْكَ وَاُمَّۃً قَتَلَتْكَ وَلَعَنَ اللہُ اُمَّۃً سَمِعَتْ بِذٰلِكَ فَرَضِیَتْ بِهٖ۔
Sayyidee wamawlaaya anta mawlaaya hujjatu allaahi 'alaa al-khalqi ajma'eena aamantu bisirrikum wa'alaaniyyatikum wabizaahirikum wabaatinikum wa-awwalikum wa-aakhirikum.
Wa-ashhadu annaka at-taalee likitaabi allaahi wa-ameenu allaahi ad-daa'ee ilaa allaahi bil-hikmati wal-maw'izati al-hasanah.
La'ana allaahu ummatan zalamatka wa-ummatan qatalatka wala'ana allaahu ummatan sami'at bizaalika faradiyat bih.
My chief and master, you are, O my master, Allah’s argument against all of His creatures. I believe in your secret and open affairs, in your visible and invisible affairs, and in the foremost and the last of you. I also bear witness that you have recited the Book of Allah and you are the Trustee of Allah, who calls to Allah with wisdom and excellent exhortation. May Allah curse the people who wronged you and the people who killed you. May Allah curse the people who were pleased when they heard of that.
اے میرے آقا اے میرے مولا آپ میرے وہ مولا ہیں جو خدا کی ساری مخلوق پر اس کی حجت ہیں میں ایمان رکھتا ہوں آپ کے نہاں و عیاں پر آپ کے ظاہر پر اور آپ کے باطن پر اور آپ کے اول پر اور آخر پر میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ کتابِ خدا کی تلاوت کرنے والے خدا کے امین ہیں اور بہترین نصیحت کے ساتھ خدا کی طرف بلانے والے ہیں خدا لعنت کرے اس گروہ پر جس نے آپ پر ظلم کیا اور جس نے آپ کو قتل کیا اور خدا لعنت کرے اس گروہ پر جس نے یہ بات سنی اور اس پر خوش ہوا۔
Then recite 2 rakats namaz at the head side and then recite dua Allahumma inni laka sallaiyto.
پھر حضرتؑ کے سرہانے کی طرف ۲ رکعت نماز بجالائے اور نماز کے بعد دُعا اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ صَلَّيْتُ پڑھے۔
After this kiss the grave and recite…
پھر اپنے آپ کوقبرِ مبارک سے لپٹاکرکہے۔۔۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَی الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْمَظْلُوْمِ الشَّهِیْدِ قَتِیْلِ الْعَبَرَاتِ وَاَسِیْرِ الْكُرُبَاتِ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّهٗ وَلِیُّكَ وَابْنُ وَلِیِّكَ وَصَفِیُّكَ الثَّائِرُ بِحَقِّكَ اَكْرَمْتَهٗ بِكَرَامَتِكَ وَخَتَمْتَ لَهٗ بِالشَّهَادَۃِ وَجَعَلْتَهٗ سَیِّدًا مِّنَ السَّادَۃِ وَقَائِدًا مِّنَ الْقَادَۃِ وَاَكْرَمْتَهٗ بِطِیْبِ الْوِلَادَۃِ وَاَعْطَیْتَهٗ مَوَارِیْثَ الْاَنْبِیَآءِ وَجَعَلْتَهٗ حُجَّۃً عَلٰی خَلْقِكَ مِنَ الْاَوْصِیَآءِ فَاَعْذَرَ فِیْ الدُّعَآءِ وَمَنَحَ النَّصِیْحَۃَ وَبَذَلَ مُهْجَتَهٗ فِیْكَ حَتَّی اسْتَنْقَذَ عِبَادَكَ مِنَ الْجَهَالَۃِ وَحَیْرَۃِ الضَّلَالَۃِ۔
As-salaamu 'alaa al-husayni ibni 'aliyyin al-mazloomi ash-shaheedi qateeli al-'abaraati wa-aseeri al-kurubaat.
Allaahumma innee ashhadu annahoo waliyyuka wabnu waliyyika wasafiyyuka ath-thaa'iru bihaqqika akramtahoo bikaraamatika wakhatamta lahoo bish-shahaadati waja'altahoo sayyidan mina as-saadati waqaa'idan mina al-qaadati wa-akramtahoo biteebi al-wilaadati wa-a'taytahoo mawaareetha al-anbiyaa'i waja'altahoo hujjatan 'alaa khalqika mina al-awsiyaa'i fa-a'zara fee ad-du'aa'i wamanaha an-naseehata wabazala muhjatahoo feeka hattaa istanqaza 'ibaadaka mina al-jahaalati wahayrati ad-dalaalah.
Peace be upon Husain the son of Ali, the wronged and martyred, the victim of shed tears, and the captive of agonies. O Allah, I do bear witness that he is Your intimate friend and the son of Your intimate friend and Your choicest one who revolted to demand with Your right. You have thus honored him with Your honor, sealed his lifetime with martyrdom, made him one of the chiefs and one of the leaders, honored him with immaculate birth, gave him the inheritances of the prophets, and made him argument against Your creatures and one of the Successors. So, he called to You flawlessly, gave advice, and sacrificed himself for Your sake until he could save Your servants from ignorance and perplexity of straying off.
سلام ہو حسینؑ ابن علیؑ پر کہ جو مظلوم شہید ہیں ایسے مقتول ہیں جن پر آنسو بہائے گئے اور جن پر مصیبتیں آ پڑیں اے معبود!بے شک میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ ضرور وہ تیرے ولی اور تیرے ولی کے بیٹے اور تیرے پسندیدہ تیری خاطر انتقام لینے والے ہیں جن کو تو نے اپنی عزّت سے عزّت دی اور انہیں شہادت کی موت نصیب فرمائی اور انہیں سرداروں کا سردار اور رہنماؤں کا رہنما بنایا تو نے ان کو پاکیزہ پیدائش سے بزرگی دی اور ان کو نبیوں کے ورثےعطا فرمائے،تو نے ان کو اپنی مخلوق پرحجت قرار دیا اوصیاء میں سے پس انہوں نے دعوتِ حق میں حجت تمام کی لگا تار نصیحت کرتے رہے اور تیرے نام پر گردن کٹا دی تاکہ تیرے بندوں کو جہالت کے اندھیروں اور گمراہی کی پریشانیوں سے نکالیں جب کہ ان کے خلاف وہ لوگ جمع تھے۔
وَقَدْ تَوَازَرَ عَلَیْهِ مَنْ غَرَّتْهُ الدُّنْیَا وَبَاعَ حَظَّهٗ مِنَ الْاٰخِرَۃِ بِالْاَدْنٰی وَتَرَدّٰی فِیْ هَوَاهُ وَاَسْخَطَكَ وَاَسْخَطَ نَبِیَّکَ وَاَطَاعَ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ اُوْلِی الشِّقَاقِ وَالنِّفَاقِ وَحَمَلَۃَ الْاَوْزَارِ الْمُسْتَوْجِبِیْنَ النَّارَ فَجَاهَدَهُمْ فِیْكَ صَابِرًا مُحْتَسِبًا مُقْبِلًا غَیْرَ مُدْبِرٍ لَا تَاْخُذُهٗ فِی اللہِ لَوْمَۃُ لَآئِمٍ حَتّٰی سُفِكَ فِیْ طَاعَتِكَ دَمُهٗ وَاسْتُبِیْحَ حَرِیْمُهٗ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ الْعَنْهُمْ لَعْنًا وَبِیْلًا وَعَذِّبْهُمْ عَذَابًا اَلِیْمًا۔
Waqad tawaazara 'alayhi man gharrat-hu ad-dunyaa wabaa'a hazzahoo mina al-aakhirati bil-adnaa wataraddaa fee hawaahu wa-askhataka wa-askhata nabiyyaka wa-ataa'a min 'ibaadika oolee ash-shiqaaqi wan-nifaaqi wahamalata al-awzaari al-mustawjibeena an-naara fajaahadahum feeka saabiran muhtasiban muqbilan ghayra mudbirin laa ta'khuzuhoo fee allaahi lawmatu laa'imin hattaa sufika fee taa'atika damuhoo wastubeeha hareemuh.
Allaahumma al-'anhum la'nan wabeelan wa'azzibhum 'azaaban aleemaa.
Yet, those who were seduced by this worldly life, those who sold their share of the Hereafter with the lowly price, those who perished because of following their desires, those who brought to themselves Your wrath and the wrath of Your Prophet, and those who obeyed the dissident and hypocritical servants of You and the bearers of the burdens (of sins) who deserve Hellfire, all those supported each other against him; so, he fought against them with steadfastness and expectation of Your reward, facing them courageously, never turning back, and never fearing the blame of anyone concerning carrying out his duty towards You until his blood was shed while he was in obedience to You and his inviolability was also infringed. O Allah, curse them with incessant curses and chastise them with painful chastisement.
جن کو دنیا نے دھوکہ دیا انہوں نے آخرت کو دنیا کے بدلے فروخت کر دیا اور خواہش کے پیچھے چل پڑے انہوں نے تجھے اور تیرے نبیؐ کو ناراض کیا تیرے ان بندوں کا کہنا مانا جو فسادی اور بے ایمان تھے اور ان گناہوں کا بوجھ اٹھا لیا کہ ان کا جہنم میں جانا لازم ٹھہرا پس حسینؑ نے تیرے لئے ان سے صبر و احتیاط کے ساتھ جہاد کیا پیچھے نہیں ہٹے خدا کے بارے میں انہوں نے کسی ملامت کرنے والے کواہمیت نہ دی حتی کہ تیری فرماں برداری میں ان کا خون بہا دیا گیااور ان کی حرمت پامال کی گئی اے معبود! ان ظالموں پر لعنت کر وہ لعنت جو سخت ہو اور جھونک دے ان کو درد ناک عذاب میں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
Ziyarat J.Ali Akbar (a)
Now turn towards the grave of Ali Akbar (a) which is at the foot of the grave of Imam Husain (a) and recite…
پھر حضرت علی اکبرؑ جو امام حسینؑ کی پائینتی ہیں ان کی طرف جاکرکہے۔۔۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا وَلِیَّ اللہِ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ خَاتَمِ النَّبِیِّیْنَ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ فَاطِمَۃَ سَیِّدَۃِ نِسَآءِ الْعَالَمِیْنَ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَابْنَ اَمِیْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ اَیُّهَا الْمَظْلُوْمُ الشَّهِیْدُ بِاَبِیْ اَنْتَ وَاُمِّیْ عِشْتَ سَعِیْدًا وَقُتِلْتَ مَظْلُوْمًا شَهِیْدًا۔
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa waliyya allaah.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa ibna rasooli allaah.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa ibna khaatami an-nabiyyeen.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa ibna faatimata sayyidati nisaa'i al-'aalameen.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa ibna ameeri al-mu'mineen.
As-salaamu 'alayka ayyuhaa al-mazloomu ash-shaheedu bi-abee anta wa-ummee 'ishta sa'eedan waqutilta mazlooman shaheedaa.
Peace be upon you, O Allah’s intimate servant. Peace be upon you, O son of Allah’s Messenger. Peace be upon you, O son of the seal of the prophets. Peace be upon you, O son of Fatima the leader of the women of the worlds. Peace be upon you, O son of the Commander of the Faithful. Peace be upon you, O persecuted and martyred. May Allah accept my father and my mother as ransoms for you. You lived happily and were killed as wronged and martyred.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے ولی خدا آپ پر سلام ہو اے رسول خداؐ کے فرزند آپ پر سلام ہو اے خاتم الانبیاءؐ کے فرزند آپ پر سلام ہو اے فرزندِ فاطمہؑ جو جہانوں کی عورتوں کی سردار ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے امیر المومنینؑ کے فرزند آپ پر سلام ہو اے کہ جو مظلوم شہید ہیں میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان آپ نے سعادت مندی کی زندگی گزاری اور مظلوم شہید قتل کئے گئے۔
Ziyarat Shohoda-e-Karbala
You should then leave from the door that is at the side of Ali ibn Husain’s feet, direct towards the martyrs, and say the following words…
اب دیگر شہداء کی قبور کی طرف مُنہ کرکے کہے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ اَیُّهَا الذَّابُّوْنَ عَنْ تَوْحِیْدِ اللہِ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَی الدَّارِ بِاَبِیْ اَنْتُمْ وَاُمِّیْ فُزْتُمْ فَوْزًا عَظِیْمًا۔
As-salaamu 'alaykum ayyuhaa az-zaabboona 'an tawheedi allaah.
As-salaamu 'alaykum bimaa sabartum fani'ma 'uqbaa ad-daari bi-abee antum wa-ummee fuztum fawzan 'azeemaa.
Peace be upon you all, O defenders of (the faith of) Allah’s Oneness. Peace be upon you because you were constant. How excellent then the issue of the abode is. May Allah accept my father and my mother as ransoms for you. You achieved a great success.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے خدا کی توحید کی خاطر جنگ کرنے والو آپ پر سلام ہو کہ آپ نے بڑا صبر کیاپس آخرت کا گھر کیا ہی اچھا ہے میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان آپ نے بہت بڑی کامیابی حاصل کی۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
Ziyarat Hazrat Abbas (a)
After this go to the shrine of Hazrat Abbas (a) and standing near his holy shrine say…
اس کے بعد حضرت عباس ابن علیؑ کے مزار پر جائے اورضریحِ پاک کے نزدیک کھڑے ہو کر کہے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ اَیُّهَا الْعَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ وَالصِّدِّیْقُ الْمُوَاسِیْ۔
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ اٰمَنْتَ بِاللہِ وَنَصَرْتَ ابْنَ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ وَدَعَوْتَ اِلٰی سَبِیْلِ اللہِ وَ وَاسَیْتَ بِنَفْسِكَ عَلَیْكَ مِنَ اللہِ اَفْضَلُ التَّحِیَّۃِ وَالسَّلَامِ۔
As-salaamu 'alayka ayyuhaa al-'abdu as-saalihu was-siddeequ al-muwaasee.
Ashhadu annaka aamanta billaahi wanasarta ibna rasooli allaahi wada'awta ilaa sabeeli allaahi wa waasayta binafsika 'alayka mina allaahi afdalu at-tahiyyati was-salaam.
Peace be upon you, O righteous servant (of Allah) and veracious self-sacrificing. I bear witness that you believed in Allah, supported the son of Allah’s Messenger, called to the way of Allah, and sacrificed yourself for Him. So, the most favorite greetings and compliments of Allah be upon you.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے بندۂ نیک و پرہیز گار صاحبِ صدق اور فدا کار میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ خدا پر ایمان رکھتے تھے آپ نے رسول خداؐ کے فرزند کا ساتھ دیا لوگوں کو راہِ خدا کی طرف بلایا اور آپ نے ہمدردی میں جان قربان کر دی پس آپ پر خدا کی طرف سے بہترین رحمت اور سلام ہو۔
Then cling to the grave and recite…
پھر اپنے آپ کو قبرِ مبارک سے لپٹاکر کہے۔۔۔
بِاَبِیْ اَنْتَ وَاُمِّیْ یَا نَاصِرَ دِیْنِ اللہِ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا نَاصِرَ الْحُسَیْنِ الصِّدِّیْقِ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا نَاصِرَ الْحُسَیْنِ الشَّهِیْدِ عَلَیْكَ مِنِّی السَّلَامُ مَا بَقِیْتُ وَبَقِیَ اللَّیْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ۔
Bi-abee anta wa-ummee yaa naasira deeni allaah.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa naasira al-husayni as-siddeeq.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa naasira al-husayni ash-shaheedi 'alayka minnee as-salaamu maa baqeetu wabaqiya al-laylu wan-nahaar.
May Allah accept my father and mother as ransoms for you, O supporter of Allah’s religion. Peace be upon you, O supporter of Husain the veracious. Peace be upon you, O supporter of Husain the martyr. Peace from me be upon you as long as I am existent and as long as there are day and night.
آپ پر میرے ماں باپ قربان اے دینِ خدا کے ناصر سلام ہو آپ پر اے حسینؑ کی مدد کرنے والے جو صدیق ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو اے حسینؑ کے مددگار جو شہید ہیں آپ پر میری طرف سے سلام ہوجب تک باقی ہوں اور جب تک رات دن باقی ہیں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
You may then stand up to offer 2 rakat namaz to the side of his head and then recite dua Allahumma inni laka sallaiyto.
پھر حضرتؑ کے سرہانے کی طرف ۲ رکعت نماز بجالائے اور نماز کے بعد دُعا اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ صَلَّيْتُ پڑھے۔
Also recommended to recite Ziyarat-e-Lailatul Qadr on the day of Eid.
مستحب ہے کہ یومِ عید (عید کے دن) میں امام حسینؑ کے روضہ پرزیارتِ لیلۃ القدر پڑھے۔
