Ziyarat of the Paternal Aunts (Father’s sisters) of the Holy Prophet (s). The graves of these ladies: Safiya and Ateka and that of Hazrat Abbas’s (a) mother, Ummul Baneen are near each other in Baqi. Safiya was a very brave and virtuous lady and she was also a poetess. She accepted Islam in the initial stage. She paid allegiance to the Prophet (s) and migrated to Madina with him. She was also present in the Battles of Ohod and Khandaq. She passed away in 20 AH. at the age of 73. Ateka was a very honest lady. She is included amongst the companions of the Prophet (s). Recite the Ziyarat of these two aunts of the Holy Prophet in the following words…
پیغمبر اسلامؐ کی دو پھو پھیاں جناب صفیہ بنت عبد المطلب اور جناب عاتکہ بنت عبد المطلب بھی جنت البقیع میں مدفون ہیں۔ ان با عظمت خواتین کی زیارت کے لئے کہے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمَا یَا عَمَّتَیْ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمَا یَا عَمَّتَیْ نَبِیِّ اللہِ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمَا یَا عَمَّتَیْ حَبِیْبِ اللہِ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمَا یَا عَمَّتَیِ الْمُصْطَفٰی رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْكُمَا وَجَعَلَ الجَنَّۃَ مَنْزِلَكُمَا وَرَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَبَرَكَاتُہٗ۔
As-salaamu 'alaykumaa yaa 'ammatay rasooli allaahi as-salaamu 'alaykumaa yaa 'ammatay nabiyyi allaahi as-salaamu 'alaykumaa yaa 'ammatay habeebi allaahi as-salaamu 'alaykumaa yaa 'ammatayi al-mustafaa radiya allaahu ta'aalaa 'ankumaa waja'ala al-jannata manzilakumaa warahmatu allaahi wabarakaatuh.
Peace be upon both of you; O paternal aunts of Allah's Messenger! Peace be upon both of you; O paternal aunts of Allah's Prophet! Peace be upon both of you; O paternal aunts of Allah's most beloved one! Peace be upon . both of you; O paternal aunts of the Chosen Prophet! May Allah be pleased with both of you and decide Paradise to be your abode. Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you.
اے رسول اللہؐ کی دونوں پھوپھیوں آپ دونوں پر سلام ہو اے نبیِ خداؐ کی دونوں پھوپھیوں آپ دونوں پر سلام ہو، اے اللہ کے حبیبؐ کی دونوں پھوپھیوں آپ دونوں پر سلام ہو، اے جناب محمد مصطفٰےؐ کی دونوں پھوپھیوں آپ دونوں پر سلام ہو، خدا آپ دونوں سے راضی رہے اور جنت آپ دونوں کی منزل قرار دے اور آپ پر اللہ کی رحمت اور برکتیں ہوں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
Ziyarat Ummul Banin (s).
اس کے بعد بی بی ام البنینؑ کی زیارت پڑھے۔
