Allaahumma Lakal Hamdoاَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ
A supplication of praise and complaint together — and the two are not in tension in it: “to You belongs the praise, and to You alone do I complain.”
It then names Allah as the One, the Eternal, the Last and the Everlasting; the Creator and Lord; the One who requites on the Day of Judgement. It describes Him as doing what He wills without effort, giving to whom He wills when asked, and withholding from whom He wills without injustice in the withholding.
It closes with salawat upon Muhammad and his progeny.

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَاِلَيْكَ الْمُشْتَكٰى۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَدِيْمُ وَالْآخِرُ الدَّآئِمُ وَالرَّبُّ الْخَالِقُ وَالدَّيَّانُ يَوْمَ الدِّيْنِ تَفْعَلُ مَا تَشَآءُ بِلَا مُغَالَبَةٍ وَتُعْطِيْ مَنْ تَشَآءُ بِلَا مَنٍّ وَتَمْنَعُ مَا تَشَآءُ بِلَا ظُلْمٍ وَتُدَاوِلُ الْأَيَّامَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ يَرْكَبُوْنَ طَبَقًا عَنْ طَبَقٍ اَسْئَلُكَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْاِكْرَامِ وَالْعِزَّةِ الَّتِيْ لَا تُرَامُ وَاَسْئَلُكَ يَا اللهُ وَاَسْئَلُكَ يَا رَحْمٰنُ اَسْئَلُكَ اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَنْ تُعَجِّلَ فَرَجَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَفَرَجَنَا بِفَرَجِهِمْ وَتَقْبَلَ صَوْمِيْ وَاَسْئَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا اَرْجُوْ مِنْكَ وَاَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اَحْذَرُ اِنْ اَنْتَ خَذَلْتَ فَبَعْدَ الْحُجَّةِ وَاِنْ اَنْتَ عَصَمْتَ فَبِتَمَامِ النِّعْمَةِ۔
يَا صَاحِبَ مُحَمَّدٍ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ وَصَاحِبَهٗ وَمُؤَيِّدَهٗ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ وَخَيْبَرَ وَالْمَوَاطِنَ الَّتِيْ نَصَرْتَ فِيْهَا نَبِيَّكَ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ السَّلَامُ يَا مُبِيْرَ الْجَبَّارِيْنَ وَيَا عَاصِمَ النَّبِيِّيْنَ اَسْئَلُكَ وَاُقْسِمُ عَلَيْكَ بِحَقِّ يٰسٓ وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِيْمِ وَبِحَقِّ طٰهٓ وَسَآئِرِ الْقُرْآنِ الْعَظِيْمِ اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاَنْ تُحْصِرَنِيْ عَنِ الذُّنُوْبِ وَالْخَطَايَا وَاَنْ تَزِيْدَنِيْ فِيْ هٰذَا الشَّهْرِ الْعَظِيْمِ تَاْيِيْدًا تَرْبُطُ بِهٖ عَلٰى جَاْشِيْ وَتَسُدُّ بِهٖ عَلٰى خَلَّتِيْ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَدْرَاُ بِكَ فِيْ نُحُوْرِ اَعْدَائِيْ لَا اَجِدُ لِيْ غَيْرَكَ هَا اَنَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ فَاصْنَعْ بِيْ مَا شِئْتَ لَا يُصِيْبُنِيْ اِلَّا مَا كَتَبْتَ لِيْ اَنْتَ حَسْبِيْ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلُ۔
Allaahumma laka al-hamdu wa-ilayka al-mushtakaa.
Allaahumma anta al-waahidu al-qadeemu wal-aakhiru ad-daa'imu war-rabbu al-khaaliqu wad-dayyaanu yawma ad-deeni taf'alu maa tashaa'u bilaa mughaalabatin watu'tee man tashaa'u bilaa mannin watamna'u maa tashaa'u bilaa zulmin watudaawilu al-ayyaama bayna an-naasi yarkaboona tabaqan 'an tabaqin as'aluka yaa zaa al-jalaali wal-ikraami wal-'izzati allatee laa turaamu wa-as'aluka yaa allaahu wa-as'aluka yaa rahmaanu as'aluka an tusalliya 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin wa-an tu'ajjila faraja aali muhammadin wafarajanaa bifarajihim wataqbala sawmee wa-as'aluka khayra maa arjoo minka wa-a'oozu bika min sharri maa ahzaru in anta khazalta faba'da al-hujjati wa-in anta 'asamta fabitamaami an-ni'mah.
Yaa saahiba muhammadin yawma hunaynin wasaahibahoo wamu'ayyidahoo yawma badrin wakhaybara wal-mawaatina allatee nasarta feehaa nabiyyaka 'alayhi wa-aalihi as-salaamu yaa mubeera al-jabbaareena wayaa 'aasima an-nabiyyeena as'aluka wa-uqsimu 'alayka bihaqqi yaaseen wal-qur'aani al-hakeemi wabihaqqi taah wasaa'iri al-qur'aani al-'azeemi an tusalliya 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin wa-an tuhsiranee 'ani az-zunoobi wal-khataayaa wa-an tazeedanee fee haazaa ash-shahri al-'azeemi ta'yeedan tarbutu bihee 'alaa ja'shee watasuddu bihee 'alaa khallatee.
Allaahumma innee adra'u bika fee nuhoori a'daa'ee laa ajidu lee ghayraka haa anaa bayna yadayka fasna' bee maa shi'ta laa yuseebunee illaa maa katabta lee anta hasbee wani'ma al-wakeel.
O Allah, the praise is for You and I complain to You only. O Allah, You are the One, the eternal, the last and the permanent. The creator Lord, and the recompenser on Judgment Day. You do what You want without being overcome. And You give to whosoever You like without reproaching (them for it). And You refuse to whomsoever You like without being unjust. And You alternate the days among the people; they pass from one state to another. I ask You, O one with majesty and honor and the might which cannot be reached. And I ask You, O Allah, and I ask You, O Beneficent. I ask You that You bless Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad and that You hasten the Faraj of the progeny of Muhammad and our Faraj through their Faraj and accept my fast, and I ask You for the best of that which I hope from You. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of that I fear. If You debase it is only for the establishment of proof and evidence. And if You protect it is to complete the favor. O helper of Muhammad on the day of Hunain his helper and supporter on the day of Badr and Khyber and the places in which You helped Your Prophet, salutations on him and his family. O debaser of oppressors and protector of the prophets. I ask You and I put you under oath by the right of Yasin and the Wise Quran, by the right of Taha and the rest of the Great Quran that You bless Muhammad and the progeny of Muhammad and protect me from sins and mistakes and that You increase to me Your help in this great month so that through it I may get peace and amend my defects. O Allah, I repel my enemies at their throats through You, and I find none for me but You. Here I am before You, so do with me what You will. Because nothing will happen to me except that which you write for me. You are sufficient for me and the best of helpers.
اے اللہ! تمام تعریف تیرے ہی لیے ہے، اور ہر شکایت تیری ہی بارگاہ میں ہے۔ اے اللہ! تو یکتا ہے، قدیم ہے، ہمیشہ باقی رہنے والا ہے، اور سب کے بعد باقی رہنے والا آخر ہے۔ تو ہی رب ہے، خالق ہے، اور جزا و سزا کے دن کا مالک ہے۔ تو جو چاہتا ہے کرتا ہے، بغیر کسی کے مغلوب کیے۔ تو جسے چاہتا ہے عطا کرتا ہے، بغیر کسی پر احسان جتائے۔ تو جس سے چاہتا ہے روک لیتا ہے، بغیر کسی پر ظلم کیے۔ اور تو ہی لوگوں کے درمیان دنوں (حالات) کو بدلتا رہتا ہے وہ ایک حال سے دوسرے حال کی طرف منتقل ہوتے رہتے ہیں۔ اے بزرگی اور کرم والے! اے ایسی عزت کے مالک جس تک کوئی پہنچ نہ سکے! اے اللہ! اے رحمان! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ تو محمدؐ اور آلِ محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما، اور آلِ محمدؐ کے ظہور میں جلدی فرما، اور انہی کی کشادگی کے ذریعے ہمیں بھی کشادگی عطا فرما۔ اور تو میرے روزے کو قبول فرما، اور میں تجھ سے وہ سارا خیر مانگتا ہوں جس کی امید میں تجھ سے رکھتا ہوں، اور میں تجھ سے اس ہر شر سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں جس سے میں ڈرتا ہوں۔ اگر تو نے مجھے میرے حال پر چھوڑ دیا تو (یہ) حجت قائم ہونے کے بعد ہوگا، اور اگر تو نے مجھے محفوظ رکھا تو یہ تیری نعمت کی تکمیل ہوگی۔ اے وہ ذات جو غزوۂ حُنین کے دن محمدؐ کے ساتھی اور مددگار تھے، اور بدر و خیبر کے دن ان کے کارساز اور مؤیّد تھے، اور وہ تمام مقامات جہاں تو نے اپنے نبیؐ کی مدد فرمائی ان پر اور ان کی آلؑ پر سلام ہو۔ اے سرکشوں کو ہلاک کرنے والے! اے انبیاء کی حفاظت کرنے والے! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں اور تجھے قسم دیتا ہوں یٰس اور قرآنِ حکیم کے حق کی، اور طٰہٰ اور پورے عظیم قرآن کے حق کی، کہ تو محمدؐ اور آلِ محمدؐ پر رحمت نازل فرما، اور مجھے گناہوں اور خطاؤں سے روک دے، اور اس عظیم مہینے میں میری مدد ایسے بڑھا دے کہ اس کے ذریعے میرے دل کو مضبوطی حاصل ہو اور میری کمزوریوں اور ضرورتوں کی کمی پوری ہو جائے۔ اے اللہ! میں اپنے دشمنوں کے مقابلے میں تجھی کو سامنے رکھ کر چلتا ہوں، اور مجھے تیرے سوا کوئی پناہ گاہ نہیں ملتی۔ یہ میں تیرے حضور حاضر ہوں میرے ساتھ جو چاہے فیصلہ فرما، مجھے وہی پہنچے گا جو تو نے میرے لیے لکھ دیا ہے۔ تو ہی میرے لیے کافی ہے اور تو ہی بہترین کارساز ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
