Laa Ilaaha Illal Laaho
لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِيْ وَيُمِيْتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوْتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ وَلَا نَعْبُدُ اِلَّا اِيَّاهُ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهٖ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ اِلٰهًا وَاحِدًا وَ نَحْنُ لَهٗ مُسْلِمُوْنَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ الْعَالِمُ بِمَا ظَهَرَ مِنِّيْ وَمَا خَفِيَ عَنْ خَلْقِكَ وَلَوْ لَا سَتْرُكَ لِيْ وَتَحَنُّنُكَ عَلَيَّ لَكُنْتُ مِنَ الْمَفْضُوْحِيْنَ سَيِّدِيْ اَوْقَرْتَنِيْ بِالنِّعَمِ وَاَوْقَرْتُ صَحِيْفَتِيْ ذُنُوْبًا نَظَرْتَ لِيْ بِكَرَمِكَ يَا مَوْلَايَ وَلَمْ اَنْظُرْ لِنَفْسِيْ لِسُوْءِ (بِسُوْءِ) رَاْيِيْ فَكَمْ مِنْ ذَنْبٍ عَظِيْمٍ وَخَطِيْئَةٍ مُوْبِقَةٍ اَحْصَيْتَ عَلَيَّ فِيْ سَوَادِ اللَّيْلِ وَضَوْءِ النَّهَارِ اَسْتَحْيِيْ مِنْ ذِكْرِهَا تَسْمِيَةً بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ فَبِئْسَ الْعَبْدُ اَنَا لِنَفْسِيْ وَنِعْمَ الرَّبُّ اَنْتَ لِيْ تَدْعُوْنِيْ فَاُوَلِّيْ عَنْكَ كَاَنَّ لِيَ التَّطَوُّلَ عَلَيْكَ۔
Laa allaaha illaa allaahu wahdahoo laa shareeka lahoo, lahu al-mulku walahu al-hamdu yuhyee wayumeetu wahuwa hayyun laa yamootu biyadihi al-khayru wahuwa 'alaa kulli shay'in qadeerun laa allaaha illaa allaahu wahdahoo laa shareeka lahoo walaa na'budu illaa iyyaahu laa allaaha illaa allaahu wahdahoo laa shareeka lahoo wasubhaana allaahi wabihamdihee laa allaaha illaa allaahu allaahan waahidan wa nahnu lahoo muslimoona.
Allaahumma anta al-'aalimu bimaa zahara minnee wamaa khafiya 'an khalqika walaw laa satruka lee watahannunuka 'alayya lakuntu mina al-mafdooheena sayyidee awqartanee bin-ni'ami waawqartu saheefatee zunooban nazarta lee bikaramika yaa mawlaaya walam anzur linafsee lisoo'i (bisoo'i) rayee fakam min zanbin 'azeemin wakhatee'atin moobiqatin ahsayta 'alayya fee sawaadi al-layli wadaw'i an-nahaari astahyee min zikrihaa tasmiyatan bayna yadayka fabi'sa al-'abdu anaa linafsee wani'ma ar-rabbu anta lee tad'oonee fauwallee 'anka kaanna liya at-tatawwula 'alayka. auto
There is no god except Allah, alone, without any partner. His is the dominion, and His is all praise. He gives life and He gives death, and He is the Ever-Living who never dies. In His hand is all goodness, and He is Powerful over all things. There is no god except Allah, alone, without partner. We worship none except Him. There is no god except Allah, alone, without partner. Glory be to Allah, and praise is His. There is no god except Allah a single, unique God and we submit to Him as Muslims. O Allah! You know what is apparent from me and what is hidden from Your creation. And if it were not for Your covering (Your concealment of my faults) and Your tenderness toward me, I would surely be among the disgraced. My Master! You have filled my life with blessings, and I have filled my record with sins. You looked toward me with Your generosity, O my Master, while I did not look after myself because of my own poor judgement. How many great sins and destructive mistakes have You counted against me in the darkness of night and in the brightness of day sins I am too ashamed to even mention before You. What a terrible servant I am to my own self, and what a wonderful Lord You are to me. You call me, yet I turn away from You as though I have some power over You!
اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں۔ اسی کی بادشاہی ہے، اور اسی کے لیے ساری تعریف ہے۔ وہی زندگی دیتا ہے اور وہی موت دیتا ہے، اور وہ زندہ ہے جو کبھی نہیں مرتا۔ ہر خیر اس کے ہاتھ میں ہے، اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اور ہم کسی کی عبادت نہیں کرتے مگر اسی کی۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں۔ اللہ پاک ہے اور اسی کے لیے ساری تعریف ہے۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ واحد و یکتا معبود ہے اور ہم اسی کے فرمانبردار ہیں۔ اے اللہ! تو جانتا ہے وہ سب جو میرے ظاہر میں ہے اور وہ بھی جو تیری مخلوق سے پوشیدہ ہے۔ اگر تو نے مجھے ڈھانپا نہ ہوتا، اور مجھ پر رحم نہ کیا ہوتا، تو میں یقیناً لوگوں میں رسوا ہو چکا ہوتا۔ اے میرے آقا! تو نے مجھے اپنی نعمتوں سے بھر دیا، اور میں نے اپنی کتابِ اعمال کو گناہوں سے بھر دیا۔ اے میرے مولا! تو نے مجھے اپنے کرم سے دیکھا، اور میں نے اپنے بارے میں غلط سوچ کی وجہ سے اپنے نفس کی حفاظت نہ کی۔ کتنے ہی بڑے گناہ اور کتنی ہی ہلاکت خیز خطائیں تو نے میرے نام لکھیں رات کے اندھیرے میں بھی اور دن کے اجالے میں بھی جن کا نام بھی تیرے سامنے لینے میں مجھے شرم آتی ہے۔ میں اپنے نفس کے لیے کتنا برا بندہ ہوں، اور تو میرے لیے کتنا بہترین رب ہے۔ تو مجھے بلاتا ہے، اور میں تجھ سے منہ موڑ لیتا ہوں گویا میں تجھ پر کوئی حق رکھتا ہوں!
فَاَسْئَلُكَ يَا اِلٰهِيْ بِالْقُدْرَةِ الَّتِيْ قَدَرْتَ بِهَا عَلٰى ذُنُوْبِيْ وَاِحْصَائِهَا وَبِالرَّحْمَةِ الَّتِيْ سَتَرْتَ بِهَا مَا قَبُحَ مِنْ ذُنُوْبِيْ اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الْاَخْيَارِ وَتُعْتِقَنِيْ مِنَ النَّارِ فِيْ يَوْمِيْ هٰذَا مِنْ شَهْرِكَ الْمَيْمُوْنِ الْمَعْصُوْمِ وَاَنْ تَخْتِمَ لِيْ فِيْ هٰذَا الْيَوْمِ بِخَيْرٍ مَعَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ الْاَحْيَاءِ مِنْهُمْ وَالْاَمْوَاتِ بِمَا اَنْتَ اَهْلُهٗ حَتّٰى اَفُوْزَ يَا مَوْلَايَ بِحُسْنِ تَوَكُّلِيْ عَلَيْكَ وَبِمَا جَرَتْ عَادَتُكَ مَعَ اَمْثَالِيْ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ وَاَنْ تَرْزُقَنِي الْاَمْنَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ وَالْغِنٰى وَالْمَغْفِرَةَ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهِ الطَّاهِرِيْنَ وَسَلَّمَ۔
Faas'aluka yaa allaahee bil-qudrati allatee qadarta bihaa 'alaa zunoobee waihsaa'ihaa wabilrrahmati allatee satarta bihaa maa qabuha min zunoobee an tusalliya 'alaa muhammadin waahli baytihi al-akhyaari watu'tiqanee mina an-naari fee yawmee haazaa min shahrika al-maymooni al-ma'soomi waan takhtima lee fee haazaa al-yawmi bikhayrin ma'a al-mu'mineena wal-mu'minaati al-ahyaa'i minhum wal-amwaati bimaa anta ahluhoo hattaa afooza yaa mawlaaya bihusni tawakkulee 'alayka wabimaa jarat 'aadatuka ma'a amthaalee min khalqika waan tarzuqanee al-amna wal-'aafiyata wal-ghinaa wal-maghfirata innaka 'alaa kulli shay'in qadeerun yaa arhama ar-raahimeena wasallaa allaahu 'alaa muhammadin waaalihi at-taahireena wasallama. auto
So I ask You, O my God by the power with which You have full control over my sins and their complete accounting, and by the mercy with which You have covered the ugliness of my misdeeds that You send Your blessings upon Muhammad and his noble, righteous Household, and that You free me from the Fire on this day of Yours, from this blessed and protected month. And that You seal for me, on this day, a destiny of goodness along with the believing men and believing women, those who are living and those who have passed away in a manner that befits Your Majesty and Your Generosity, so that I may attain salvation, O my Master, through the beauty of my trust in You, and through the way You customarily deal with those among Your creation who are like me. And grant me security, well-being, sufficiency, and forgiveness for indeed, You are Powerful over all things, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy. And may Allah send His blessings upon Muhammad and his purified Household, and grant them peace.
پس میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں، اے میرے خدا! اس قدرت کے واسطے جو تو نے میری گناہوں پر اور ان کے گننے اور شمار کرنے پر قائم کی ہے، اور اس رحمت کے واسطے جس کے ذریعے تو نے میرے گناہوں کی بدصورتی کو چھپا دیا کہ تو محمدؐ اور ان کے پاک اور نیک اہلِ بیتؑ پر اپنی رحمت نازل فرما، اور مجھے اس دن، اس مبارک اور محفوظ مہینے کے اس دن جہنم کی آگ سے آزاد فرما دے۔ اور اس دن میرا انجام نیکی پر لکھ دے، مومن مردوں اور مومن عورتوں کے ساتھ ان میں سے زندہ بھی اور فوت شدہ بھی جیسا کہ تیرے شایانِ شان ہے۔ تاکہ اے میرے مولا! میں اپنے اچھے بھروسے (توکل) کے ذریعے تیرے ہاں کامیاب ٹھہروں، اور اس رحمت کے ذریعے جس کے ساتھ تُو ہمیشہ میرے جیسے کمزور بندوں کے ساتھ پیش آتا ہے۔ اور مجھے امن، عافیت، بےنیازی (غنا) اور مغفرت سے نواز دے بے شک تو ہر چیز پر پوری قدرت رکھنے والا ہے، اے سب رحم کرنے والوں میں سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے! اور اللہ درود نازل کرے محمدؐ اور ان کی پاک آلؑ پر، اور ان پر سلام ہو۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
