بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَمْسَیْتُ اَللّٰهُمَّ مُعْتَصِمًا بِذِمَامِكَ الْمَنِیْعِ الَّذِیْ لَا یُحَاوَلُ وَلَا یُطَاوَلُ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ غَاشِمٍ وَطَارِقٍ مِنْ سَائِرِ مَا خَلَقْتَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ الصَّامِتِ وَالنَّاطِقِ فِیْ جُنَّۃٍ مِنْ كُلِّ مَخُوْفٍ بِلِبَاسٍ سَابِغَۃٍ وِلَآئِ اَهْلِ بَیْتِ نَبِیِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَیْهِ وَعَلَیْهِمْ مُحْتَجِبًا مِنْ كُلِّ قَاصِدٍ لِّیْ بِاَذِیَّۃٍ بِجِدَارٍ حَصِیْنِ الْاِخْلَاصِ فِیْ الْاِعْتِرَافِ بِحَقِّهِمْ وَالتَّمَسُّكِ بِحَبْلِهِمْ مُوْقِنًا بِاَنَّ الْحَقَّ لَهُمْ وَمَعَهُمْ وَفِیْهِمْ وَبِهِمْ اُوَالِیْ مَنْ وَالَوْا وَاُجَانِبُ مَنْ جَانَبُوْا فَصَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِہٖ وَاَعِذْنِیْ اَللّٰهُمَّ بِهِمْ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ مَا اَتَّقِیْهِ یَا عَظِیْمُ وَحَجَزْتُ الْاَعَادِیْ عَنِّیْ بِبَدِیْعِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْۢ بَیْنِ اَیْدِیْهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَاَغْشَیْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا یُبْصِرُوْنَ۔
Amsaytu allaahumma mu'tasiman bizimaamika al-manee'i allazee laa yuhaawalu walaa yutaawalu min sharri kulli ghaashimin wataariqin min saa'iri maa khalaqta min khalqika as-saamiti wan-naatiqi fee junnatin min kulli makhoofin bilibaasin saabighatin wilaa'i ahli bayti nabiyyika muhammadin salawaatuka 'alayhi wa'alayhim muhtajiban min kulli qaasidin lee bi-aziyyatin bijidaarin haseeni al-ikhlaasi fee al-i'tiraafi bihaqqihim wat-tamassuki bihablihim mooqinan bi-anna al-haqqa lahum wama'ahum wafeehim wabihim uwaalee man waalaw wa-ujaanibu man jaanaboo fasalli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aalihee wa-a'iznee allaahumma bihim min sharri kulli maa attaqeehi yaa 'azeemu wahajaztu al-a'aadee 'annee bibadee'i as-samaawaati wal-ardi waja'alnaa min bayni aydeehim saddan wamin khalfihim saddan fa-aghshaynaahum fahum laa yubsiroon.
O Allah! I have entered the evening seeking refuge in Your impenetrable protection, which cannot be challenged nor outstripped, from the evil of every oppressor and every night-visitor among all Your creation, both silent and speaking, in a shield from every feared thing, with a complete garment of the loyalty of the Progeny (a.s) of Your Prophet Mohammad (s.a.w.a), upon whom be Your blessings, shielded from every seeker of harm against me, by a fortress wall of sincerity in acknowledging their right and clinging to their rope, being certain that the truth is for them, with them, in them, and through them; I am a friend to those who are friends to them, and I am a stranger to those who are strangers to them. So send blessings upon Mohammad (s.a.w.a) and his Progeny (a.s), and O Allah! Protect me through them from the evil of everything I fear, O Most Great! And I have barred the enemies from me by the Originator of the heavens and the earth, "and We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, and covered them, so they do not see."
یا اللہ! میں نے شام کی تو تیرے محفوظ وعدوں سے وابستہ ہوں، وہ (ذمہ و عہد) جس کا نہ کوئی ارادۂ مقابلہ کر سکتا ہے، نہ اس پر بلا دستی حاصل کی جا سکتی ہے، تیرے نبی حضرت محمد مصطفٰیؐ کے اہل بیت جن پر تیری رحمت ہو، کی سپر محبت اور چست و موزون زرہ کی وجہ سے ہر غالب آنے والے اور اچانک حملہ آور کے خوف، اور تیری مخلوق کی ہر خوفناک گویا اور خاموش فرد کے خطرے سے امان میں ہوں، ان حضرات کے حق کا اقرار خالص کرنے کے مضبوط حصار بند قلعے کی وجہ سے ہراس شخص سے محفوظ ہوں جو مجھے اذیّت دینے کا ارادہ کرے، اور ان کے رشتے سے متعلق ہونے کی وجہ سے یہ یقین رکھنے کی بنا پر کہ حق ان کا ہے، ان کے ساتھ ہے، ان کے درمیان میں ہے، اور انہی کے ذریعے ہے، میں ان لوگوں سے محبت کرتا ہوں جو ان سے محبت کرتے ہیں، اور ان سے پہلو بچاتا ہوں جو ان سے پہلوتہی کرتے ہیں۔ لہٰذا محمدؐ و آل محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما، اور تو مجھے پناہ دے۔ خدا وندا! ان کے صدقے میں مجھے ہر اس چیز کے شر سے بچا جس سے میں ڈرتا ہوں، اے بزرگ و برتر! اور میں نے تو اپنے تمام دشمنوں کو اپنے آپ سے دور کر دیا ہے۔ بےمثال خالق ارض و سما کا نام لے کر، اور ہم نے ان کے سامنے اور ان کے پیچھے دیواریں کھڑی کر دی ہیں، ہم نے انہیں ڈھانپ لیا ہے، اب وہ دیکھ نہیں سکتے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
