بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِیْ لَمْ یُصْبِحْ بِیْ مَیِّتًا وَلَا سَقِیْمًا وَلَا مَضْرُوْبًا عَلٰی عُرُوْقِیْ بِسُوْٓئٍ وَلَا مَاخُوْذًا بِاَسْوَئِ عَمَلِیْ وَلَا مَقْطُوْعًا دَابِرِیْ وَلَا مُرْتَدًّا عَنْ دِیْنِیْ وَلَا مُنْكِرًا لِرَبِّیْ وَلَا مُسْتَوْحِشًا مِنْ اِیْمَانِیْ وَلَا مُلْتَبِسًا عَقْلِیْ وَلَا مُعَذَّبًا بِعَذَابِ الْاُمَمِ مِنْ قَبْلِیْ اَصْبَحْتُ عَبْدًا مَمْلُوْكًا ظَالِمًا لِنَفْسِیْ لَكَ الْحُجَّۃُ عَلَیَّ وَلَا حُجَّۃَ لِیْ لَا اَسْتَطِیْعُ اَنْ آخُذَ اِلَّا مَا اَعْطَیْتَنِیْ وَلَا اَتَّقِیْ اِلَّا مَا وَقَیْتَنِیْ۔

Al-hamdu lillaahi allazee lam yusbih bee mayyitan walaa saqeeman walaa madrooban 'alaa 'urooqee bisoo'in walaa maakhoozan bi-aswa'i 'amalee walaa maqtoo'an daabiree walaa murtaddan 'an deenee walaa munkiran lirabbee walaa mustawhishan min eemaanee walaa multabisan 'aqlee walaa mu'azzaban bi'azaabi al-umami min qablee asbahtu 'abdan mamlookan zaaliman linafsee laka al-hujjatu 'alayya walaa hujjata lee laa astatee'u an aakhuza illaa maa a'taytanee walaa attaqee illaa maa waqaytanee.

Praise is for Allah who has not left me dead or sick in the morning, nor with my veins struck by any ill, nor seized for the worst of my deeds. Neither He has discontinued my sequence nor made me a disbeliever, nor a denier of my Lord, neither I am scared of my faith, nor is my intellect confused, nor am I punished with the punishment that befell the nations before me. I am like the one who has done injustice on his soul. My Lord! Your proof is upon me and no proof of mine is upon You. I do not have the power to take anything except what You have given me, nor can I guard myself except against what You have guarded me from.

اس اللہ کی حمد جس نے مجھے صبح کے وقت مردہ و بیمار نہ کیا، نہ میری رگوں پر کسی عیب کا اثر ہوا، نہ میرے بدترین عمل کی وجہ سے میرا مواخذہ کیا، نہ میرے سلسلہ کو منقطع کیا، نہ دین سے مرتد کیا، نہ پروردگار کا منکر ہوں، نہ اپنے ایمان سے وحشت زدہ، نہ اپنی عقل کے بارے میں مشتبہ، نہ اپنے سے پہلے کی امتوں کے عذاب میں معذّب، میں اس بندۂ مملوک کے مانند ہوں جس نے اپنے اوپر ظلم کیا ہو۔ اے معبود! تیری حجّت مجھ پر ہے، میری کوئی حجّت تجھ پر نہیں، مجھ میں یہ قوت نہیں کہ کچھ حاصل کر سکوں سوائے تیری دین کے نہ میں بچ سکتا ہوں مگر یہ کہ تو بچا لے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ اَنْ اَفْتَقِرَ فِیْ غِنَاكَ اَوْ اَضِلَّ فِیْ هُدَاكَ اَوْ اُضَامَ فِیْ سُلْطَانِكَ اَوْ اُضْطَهَدَ وَالْاَمْرُ لَكَ۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْ نَفْسِیْ اَوَّلَ كَرِیْمَۃٍ تَنْتَزِعُهَا مِنْ كَرَآئِمِیْ وَاَوَّلَ وَدِیْعَۃٍ تَرْتَجِعُهَا مِنْ وَدَآئِعِ نِعَمِكَ عِنْدِیْ۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنَّا نَعُوْذُ بِكَ اَنْ نَذْهَبَ عَنْ قَوْلِكَ اَوْ نُفْتَتَنَ عَنْ دِیْنِكَ اَوْ تَتَابَعَ بِنَا اَهْوَآؤُنَا دُوْنَ الْهُدَی الَّذِیْ جَآئَ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ۔

Allaahumma innee a'oozu bika an aftaqira fee ghinaaka aw adilla fee hudaaka aw udaama fee sultaanika aw udtahada wal-amru lak.

Allaahumma ij'al nafsee awwala kareematin tantazi'uhaa min karaa'imee wa-awwala wadee'atin tartaji'uhaa min wadaa'i'i ni'amika 'indee.

Allaahumma innaa na'oozu bika an nazhaba 'an qawlika aw nuftatana 'an deenika aw tataaba'a binaa ahwaa'unaa doona al-hudaa allazee jaa'a min 'indik.

O Allah! I seek refuge in You from being poor in spite of Your self-sufficiency, or going astray in spite of Your guidance, or being wronged in Your kingdom, or being oppressed while the command is Yours. O Allah! Make my soul the first precious thing You take from my precious things, and the first deposit You take back of the deposits of Your bounties with me. O Allah, we seek refuge in You that we should turn away from Your word, or be tempted away from Your religion, or that our desires should lead us on, away from the guidance that has come from You.

بار الٰہا! میں پناہ مانگتا ہوں کہ تیری تونگری کے ہوتے ہوئے محتاج بنوں یا تیری ہدایت کے باوجود گمراہ ہوں، یا تیری شاہی میں ذلیل ہوں، یا تیری حکومت کے ہوتے ہوئے مظلوم بنایا جاؤں۔ خدا وندا! میری روح تیری بہترین نعمتوں میں سے پہلی چیز ہو جسے تو مجھ سے لے، اور وہی پہلی امانت ہو جو اپنی عطاؤں میں سے مجھ سے واپس لے۔ بار الٰہا! ہم تجھ سے پناہ مانگتے ہیں کہ تیرے حکم سے قدم باہر رکھیں، یا تیرے دین کے بارے میں فتنہ و گمراہی کے شکار ہوں، یا ہماری خواہشیں ہمیں اپنا فرماں بردار بنا لیں، اس ہدایت کے برخلاف جو تیری جانب سے ہمارے لئے آئی ہے۔

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
