بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَوْ كَظُلُمَاتٍ فِیْ بَحْرٍ لُجِّیٍّ یَغْشٰهُ مَوْجٌ مِنْ فَوْقِهٖ مَوْجٌ مِنْ فَوْقِهٖ سَحَابٌ ظُلُمَاتٌ بَعْضُهَا فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ اِذَا اَخْرَجَ یَدَهٗ لَمْ یَكَدْ یَرٰهَا وَمَنْ لَّمْ یَجْعَلِ اللهُ لَهٗ نُوْرًا فَمَا لَهٗ مِنْ نُوْرٍ۔
Aw kazulumaatin fee bahrin lujjiyyin yaghshaahu mawjun min fawqihee mawjun min fawqihee sahaabun zulumaatun ba'duhaa fawqa ba'din izaa akhraja yadahoo lam yakad yaraahaa waman lam yaj'ali allaahu lahoo nooran famaa lahoo min noor.
Or like darknesses in a deep sea, covered by waves and the clouds those darkness, which have severe darkness on them when he puts out his hand, he can hardly see it; and he for whom Allah has not made a light has no light.
یا ان تاریکیوں کی طرح جو طوفانی سمندروں میں ہوں جن میں موجوں پر موجیں اور ان پر بادل چھائے ہوں، وہ اندھیرے جن پر تاریکیاں ہوں۔ جب آدمی ہاتھ نکالے تو نظر نہ آئے، اللہ تعالٰی جس کے لئے روشنی نہ خلق کرے اسے روشنی کہاں نصیب۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
