La ilaaha illallaahu
خطبہ ماہ رمضان
The tahlil, kept here with the sermon of the month of Ramazan.
It is a declaration rather than a request: that there is nothing worthy of worship except Allah, alone and without partner; that sovereignty and all praise belong to Him; that He gives life and brings death and is Himself the Ever-living who will never die; that all good is in His hand, that He has power over everything, and that to Him all things return.
It closes by asking blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Ummi Prophet.
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِيْ وَيُمِيْتُ وَهُوَ حَيٌّ لَا يَمُوْتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ وَاِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيْرُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ الْاُمِّيِّ وَآلِهٖ۔
Laa ilaaha illal laaho wahda-hu laa sharee-ka lahu lahul mulko wa lahul hamdo yoh-yee wa yomee-to wa howa haiyyun laa yamoo-to be-yade-hil khairo wa howa a’laa kulle shai-in qadee-roon wa ilai-hil maseero wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa bil-laahil a’liyyil a’zeeme.
Allaahummasalle a’laa mohammdin nabiyyil ummiyye wa aale-hi.
There is no creature or entity worthy of worship except for Allah, the One who has no partners. Sovereignty belongs to Him, All Praise is for Him (alone), He gives life, puts to death, He is the Ever-living and will never die. In His hands is all goodness and He has power over all things and to Him return all things and there is no strength or power except with Allah, the High, the Grand. O’ Allah! Send your blessings upon Muhammad & the Family of Muhammad the Prophet, the Ummi.
اﷲ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں جو یکتا ہے کوئی اس کا شریک نہیں حکومت اسی کی اور حمد اسی کے لئے ہے وہ زندہ کرتااور موت دیتا ہے وہ زندہ ہےاسے موت نہیں ہر بھلائی اس کے ہاتھ میں ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے اور بازگشت اسی کی طرف ہے نہیں کوئی طاقت و قوت مگر جو بلند و بزرگ خدا سے ہے اے معبود! نبی امی محمدؐ پر اور ان کی آلؑ پر رحمت فرما۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ الْاُمِّيِّ وَآلِهٖ۔
Allaahumma salle a’laa mohammadin nabiyyil ummiyye wa aale-hi.
O Allah! Send your blessings upon Muhammad & the Family of Muhammad the Prophet, the Ummi.
اے معبود! نبی امی محمدؐ پر اور ان کی آلؑ پر رحمت فرما۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
