دُعاء سما ت
The reciter beseeches Allah through His Name, described in the text as the most great, the most majestic and the most noble, and recalls what the text says of that Name: that when Allah is asked by it the closed doors of the sky are opened, narrow ways are made wide, difficulty is made easy, the dead are raised from their graves, and misery and adversity are removed. The asking then continues through the majesty of Allah's person, before which every neck bends and every voice is humbled, and through His might, which holds the sky from falling upon the earth except by His permission.
سُبْحَانَكَ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ يَاحَنَّانُ يَامَنَّانُ يَابَدِيْعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ يَاذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْاِكْرَامِ۔
Subhaanaka la ilaaha illaa anta yaa hannaano yaa mannaano yaa badee-as samaa-waate wal arze yaa zal jalaale wal ikraame.
Glory be to You! There is no god save You! O All-tender! O All-bestower! O Fashioner of the heavens and the earth! O Lord of Majesty and Honor.
اے اللہ! تو پاک ہے، تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ اے بہت شفقت کرنے والے (حنّان)، اے بہت زیادہ عطا کرنے والے (منّان)، اے آسمانوں اور زمین کو بے مثال پیدا کرنے والے، اے جلال اور بزرگی والے، اور اے عزت و کرم والے!
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ بِاسْمِکَ الْعَظِیْمِ الْاَعْظْمِ الْاَعَزِّ الْاَجَلِّ الْاَکْرَمِ الَّذِیْٓ اِذَا دُعِیْتَ بِہٖ عَلٰی مَغَالِقِ اَبْوَابِ السَّمَآئِ لِلْفَتْحِ بِالرَّحْمَۃِ انْفَتَحْتَ وَاِذَا دُعِیْتَ بِہٖ عَلٰی مَضَآئِیْقِ اَبْوَابِ الْاَرْضِ لِلْفَرَجِ انْفَرَجَتْ وَاِذَا دُعِیْتَ بِہٖ عَلَی الْعُسْرِ لِلْیُسْرِ تَیَسَّرَتْ۔
Allaahumma inni as-aloka bismekal a’zeemil a-a’zamil a-a’zzil ajallil akramil lazee ezaa do-ee’ta behi a’laa maghaaleqe abwaabis samaaa-e lil fathe bir-rahmatin fatahat wa ezaa do-ee’ta behi a’laa mazaaa-eqe abwaabil arze lilfarajin farajat, wa ezaa do-ee’ta behi a’lal u’sre lil-yusre tayassarat, wa ezaa do-ee’ta behi a’lal amwaate lin-noshoorin tasharat.
O Allah! I beseech Thee through Thy Name, the most great, the most majestic, the most magnificent and the most noble. If Thou art requested therewith to open the closed doors of the sky these will open with Thy mercy. If Thou art requested thereby to remove the narrowness of the doors of the heaven, they will be opened wide. If Thou art requested thereby to make easy the difficulty, it will be easy.
اے معبود! میں تیرے عظیم بڑی عظمت والے بڑے روشن بڑی عزّت والے نام کے ذریعے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ جب آسمان کے بند دروازے رحمت کے کھولنےکے لئے تجھے اس نام سے پکاریں تو وہ کھل جاتے ہیں اور جب زمین کے تنگ راستے کھولنےکے لئے تجھے اس نام سے پکارا جائے تو وہ کشادہ ہو جاتے ہیں اور جب سختی کے وقت آسانی کے لئے اس نام سے پکاریں تو آسانی ہو جا تی ہے۔
وَاِذَا دُعِیْتَ بِہٖ عَلَی الْاَمْوَاتِ لِلنُّشُوْرِ انْتَشَرَتْ وَاِذَا دُعِیْتَ بِہٖ عَلٰی کَشْفِ الْبَاسَآئِ وَالضَّرَّآئِ انْکَشَفَتْ وَبِجَلَالِ وَجْھِکَ الْکَرِیْمِ اَکْرَمِ الْوُجُوْہِ، وَاَعَزِّ الْوُجُوْہِ اَلَّذِیْ عَنَتْ لَہُ الْوُجُوْہُ، وَخَضَعَتْ لَہُ الرِّقَابُ، وَخَشَعَتْ لَہُ الْاَصْوَاتُ، وَ وَجِلَتْ لَہُ الْقُلُوْبُ مِنْ مَخَافَتِکَ۔
Wa ezaa do-ee’ta behi a’laa kashfil baa-saaa-e waz-zarraaa-e inkashafat, wa be jalaale wajhekal kareeme akramil wojoohe wa a-a’zzil wojoohil laze a’nat lahul wojooho wa khaza-a’t lahur reqaabo wa khasha-a’t laul aswaato wa wajelat lahul qoloobo min makhaafateka.
If Thou art requested thereby to restore the dead to life, they will wise from their graves. If Thou art requested thereby to remove misery and adversity, they will be removed. I beseech Thee through the Majesty of Thy person, the Most Generous and the Most Honoured One, before Whom everybody bows down in submission and all necks bend down in reverence and through fear of Whom all voices become humbled and all hearts tremble.
اور جب مردوں کو اٹھانےکے لئے تجھے اس نام سے پکاریں تو وہ اٹھ کھڑے ہوتے ہیں اور تنگیاں اور سختیاں دور کرنےکے لئے تجھے اس نام سے پکاریں تو وہ دور ہو جاتی ہیں اور سوالی ہوں تیری ذاتِ کریم کے جلال کے ذریعے جو سب سے بزرگ ذات ہے سب سے معزز ذات ہے کہ جس کے آگے چہرے جھکتے ہیں اس کے سامنے گردنیں خم ہوتی ہیں اس کے حضور آوازیں کانپتی ہیں اور جس کے خوف سے دلوں میں لرزہ طاری ہو جاتا ہے۔
وَبِقُوَّتِکَ الَّتِیْ بِھَا تُمْسِکُ السَّمَآئَ اَنْ تَقَعَ عَلَی الْاَرْضِ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِکَ وَتُمْسِکُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ اَنْ تَزُوْلَا وَبِمَشِیَّتِکَ الَّتِیْ دَانَ لَھَا الْعَالَمُوْنَ، وَبِکَلِمَتِکَ الَّتِیْ خَلَقْتَ بِھَا السَّمٰوٰاتِ وَالْاَرْضَ، وَبِحِکْمَتِکَ الَّتِیْ صَنَعْتَ بِھَا الْعَجَآئِبَ وَخَلَقْتَ بِھَا الظُّلْمَۃَ وَجَعَلْتَھَا لَیْلًا، وَّجَعَلْتَ اللَّیْلَ سَکَنًا، وَّخَلَقْتَ بِھَا النُّوْرَ۔
Wa be quwwatekal latee behaa tumsekus samaaa-a an taqa-a’ a’lal arze illaa be-izneka, wa tumsekus samaawaate wal arza an tazoolaa, wa bemashiyyatekal latee daana (kaana) lahal a’aalamoona, wa bekalemaatekal latee kalaqta behas samaawaate wal-arza, wa behikmatekal latee sana’ta behal a’jaaa-eba wa khalaqta behaz zulmata wa ja-a’ltahaa lailan wa ja-a’ltal layla sakanan (maskanan) wa khalaqta behan noora.
And I beseech Thee through Thy Might, which prevents the sky from falling on the earth except with Thy permission, and which controls all the heavens and the earth so closely that they cannot move away from their positions; and I beseech Thee through they Will, which the whole world obeys, and through Thy Word. By which Thou hath created the heaven and the earth, and through Thy Wisdom, with which Thou hath created wonderful, and with which Thou created Darkness and made it Night, and made night the time of quiet and rest.
اور سوال کرتا ہوں تیری اس قوت کے ذریعے جس سے تو نے آسمان کو زمین پر گرنے سے روک رکھا ہے مگر جب تو اسے حکم دے اور اس آسمان اور زمین کو روکا ہوا ہے کہ کھسک نہ جائیں اور تیری اس مشیت کے ذریعے سوالی ہوں عالمین جس کے اطاعت گزار ہیں تیرے ان کلما ت کے واسطے سے سو الی ہوں جن سے تونے آسما نوں اور زمین کو پیدا کیاتیری اس حکمت کے واسطے سے جس سے تونے عجائب کو بنایا اورجس سے تو نے تاریکی کو خلق کیا اور اسے رات قرار دیا اور اسے آرام کے لئے خاص کیا۔
وَجَعَلْتَہٗ نَھَارًا وَجَعَلْتَ النَّھَارَ نُشُوْرًا مُّبْصِرًا، وَّخَلَقْتَ بِھَا الشَّمْسَ وَجَعَلْتَ الشَّمْسَ ضِیَآئً وَخَلَقْتَ بِھَا الْقَمَرَ وَجَعَلْتَ الْقَمَرَ نُوْرًا، وَّخَلَقْتَ بِھَا الْکَوَاکِبَ وَجَعَلْتَھَا نُجُوْمًا وَّبُرُوْجًا وَّمَصَابِیْحَ وَزِیْنَۃً وَّرُجُوْمًا۔
Wa ja-a’ltahu nahaaran wa ja-a’ltan nahaara noshooran mubseran, wa khalaqta behash shamsa wa ja-altash shamsa zeyaaa-an, wa khalaqta behal qamara wa ja-a’ltal qamara nooran, wa khalaqta behal kawaakeba wa ja-a’ltahaa nojooman wa boroojan wa masaabeeha wa zeenatan wa rojooman.
And with which Thou created Light and made it Day, and made day the time of movement and observation; and with which Thou hath created the Sun, and made the sun of light. And with which Thou hath created the Moon, and made the moon of light; and with which Thou hath created heavenly bodies, and made them fixed stars and planets, and lamps for guidance at night, and as a means of decoration, and missiles for driving away the devils.
اور اپنی حکمت سے تونے روشنی پیدا کی اور اسے دن کا نام دیا اور دن کو جاگ اٹھنے اور دیکھنےکے لئے بنایا اور تو نے اس سے سورج کو پیدا کیا اور سورج کو روشن کیا تونے اس سے چاند کو پیدا کیا اور چاند کو چمک دار بنایا اور تونے اس سےستاروں کو پیدا کیا انہیں روشن کیا ان کے برج بنائے اور انہیں چراغ بنایا اور زینت بنایا، شیطانوں کے تباہ کرنے کا سامان بنایا۔
وَجَعَلْتَ لَہَا مَشَارِقَ وَمَغَارِبَ وَجَعَلْتَ لَہَا مَطَالِعَ وَمَجَارِیَ وَجَعَلْتَ لَھَا فَلَکًا وَّمَسَابِحَ وَقَدَّرْ تَھَا فِیْ السَّمَآئِ مَنَازِلَ فَاَحْسَنْتَ تَقْدِیْرَھَا، وَصَوَّرْتَھَا فَاَحْسَنْتَ تَصْوِیْرَھَا، وَاَحْصَیْتَہَا بِاَسْمَآئِکَ اِحْصَآئً، وَدَبَّرْتَہَا بِحِکْمَتِکَ تَدْبِیْرًا فَاَحْسَنْتَ تَدْبِیْرَھَا وَسَخَّرْتَھَا بِسُلْطَانِ اللَّیْلِ وَسُلْطَانِ النَّھَارِ وَالسَّاعَاتِ، وَعَدَدِ السِّنِیْنَ وَالْحِسَابِ، وَجَعَلْتَ رُؤْیَتَھَا لِجَمِیْعِ النَّاسِ مَرْیًٔ وَاحِدًا۔
Wa ja-alta lahaa mashaareqa wa maghaareba wa ja-a’lta lahaa mataale-a’ wa majaareya, wa ja-a’lta lahaa falakan wa masaabeha wa qaddartahaa fis samaaa-e manaazela fa-ahsanta taqdeerahaa, wa sawwartahaa fa-ahsanta tasweerahaa wa ah-saytahaa be-asmaaa-eka ehsaaa-an wa dabbartahaa be hikmateka tadbeeran fa-ahsanta tadbeerahaa wa sakhkhartahaa be sultaanil layle wa sultaanin nahaare was-saa-a’ate wa a’dadas seneena wal-hesaabe, wa ja-a’lta roa-yatahaa le jamee-i’n naase mar-an waahedan.
And hath created for them east and west and hath created for them the places of ascendancy and orbits and created for them a firmament and sphere, and fixed for them stages in the heave. And how beautiful the stages and shaped the stars and how beautiful the shapes and made them stable through Thy Name; and Thy Wisdom Thou designed a system for them and what a good system, and controlled the heavenly bodies through the king of the night and the king of day, and through hours, making them a means for the reckoning of years and counting, making appearance of heavenly bodies regular and universal.
تو نے ان کے لئے مشرق اورمغرب بنائے تونے ان کے چمکنے اور چلنے کی راہیں بنائیں تونے ان کے لئے فلک اور سیر کی جگہ بنائی اور آسمان میں ان کی منزلیں مقرر کیں پس تونے ان کا بہترین اندازہ ٹھہرایا اور تونے انہیں شکل عطا کی کیا ہی اچھی شکل دی اور انھیں اپنے ناموں کے ساتھ پوری طرح شمار کیا اور اپنی حکمت سے ان کا ایک نظام قائم کیا اور خوب تدبیر فرمائی اور رات کے عرصے اور دن کی مدت کے لئے اطاعت گزار بنایا اور ساعتوں اور سالوں کے حساب کا ذریعہ بنایا اور سب لوگوں کے لئے ان کو دیکھنا یکساں کردیا۔
وَاَسْئَلُکَ اللّٰہُمَّ بِمَجْدِکَ الَّذِیْ کَلَّمْتَ بِہٖ عَبْدَکَ وَرَسُوْلَکَ مُوْسَی بْنَ عِمْرَانَ عَلَیْہِ السَّلَامُ فِی الْمُقَدَّ سِیْنَ فَوْقَ اِحْسَاسِ الْکَرُّوْبِیِّیْنَ، فَوْقَ غَمَآئِمِ النُّوْرِ، فَوْقَ تَابُوْتِ الشَّھَادَۃِ فِیْ عَمُوْدِ النَّارِ، وَفِیْ طُوْرِ سَیْنَآئَ، وَفِیْ جَبَلِ حُوْرِیْثَ فِی الْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ، فِی الْبُقْعَۃِ الْمُبَارَکَۃِ مِنْ جَانِبِ الطُّوْرِ الْاَیْمَنِ مِنَ الشَّجَرَۃِ، وَفِیْ اَرْضِ مِصْرَ بِتِسْعِ اٰیَاتٍ بَیِّنَاتٍ۔
Wa as-alokallaa-humma be hamdekal laze kallamta behi a’bdaka wa rasoolaka moosab na i’mraana a’layhis salaamo fil moqaddaseena fawqa ehsaasil karroobeena (karroobiyyeena) fawqa ghamaaa-emin noore fawqa taabootish shahaadate fi a’moodin naaare wa fee (wa elaa) tore saynaaa-a wa fee jabale hooreesa fil waadil moqaddase fil buq-a’til mobaarakate min jaanebit tooril aymane menash-shajarate wa fee arze misra be-tis-e’ aayaatin bayyenaatin.
And I beseech Thee, O Allah, through Thy Glory, with which Thou addressed Thy slave and Thy Messenger, Moses son of ’Imran peace be on him, while he was in the company of angels - which address even the favourite cherubin could not ever hear, above the clouds of light, above the box of evidence, with in the pillar of fire on Mount Sinai, and on Mount Hurith in the Holy Vale in the sacred tract of land to the right of Taurus Mountain-through a tree; and again addressed him on the soil of Egypt, after showing nine clear signs.
اور سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے اے اللہ تیری اس بزرگی کے ذریعے جس سے تونے اپنے بندے اور رسول حضرت موسیٰ ؑسے کلام فرمایا پاک لوگوں میں جو فرشتوں کی سمجھ سے بالا نور کے بادلوں سے بلند تابوتِ شہادت سے اونچا جو آگ کے ستون میں طور سینا میں کوہِ حوریث میں وادی مقدس میں برکت والی زمین میں طورِ ایمن کی طرف ایک درخت سے جو سرزمین مصر میں پیدا ہوا۔
وَیَوْمَ فَرَقْتَ لِبَنِیْٓ اِسْرَآئِیْلَ الْبَحْرَ، وَفِی الْمُنْبَجِسَاتِ الَّتِیْ صَنَعْتَ بِھَا الْعَجَآئِبَ فِیْ بَحْرِ سُوْفٍ، وَعَقَدْتَ مَآئَ الْبَحْرِ فِیْ قَلْبِ الْغَمْرِ کَالْحِجَارَۃِ، وَجَاوَزْتَ بِبَنِیْٓ اِسْرَآئِیْلَ الْبَحْرَ، وَتَمَّتْ کَلِمَتُکَ الْحُسْنٰی عَلَیْھِمْ بِمَا صَبَرُوْا، وَاَوْرَثْتَھُمْ مَشَارِقَ الْاَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبَھَا الَّتِیْ بَارَکْتَ فِیْہَا لِلْعٰلَمِیْنَ، وَاَغْرَقْتَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجُنُوْدَہٗ وَمَرَاکِبَہٗ فِی الْیَمِّ۔
Wa yawma faraqta le-bani israaa-eelal bahra wa fil munbajesaatil lati sa-na’ta behal a’jaaa-eba fee bahre soof, wa a’qadat maaa-al bahre fee qalbil ghamre kal-hajaarate, wa jaa-wazta be bani israaeelal bahra wa tammat kalematokal husnaa a’layhim bemaa sabaroo wa awrastahum mashaareqal arze wa maghaarebahal latee baarakta feehaa lil-a’alameena, wa aghraqta firawna wa jonoodahu wa maraakebahu fil yamme.
And on the day Thou split the sea for the Children of Israel, and caused springs to flow from a stone, thereby displaying wonders of Thy might in a deep sea; and on the day when Thou solidified the water of the sea in the midst of the storm, and caused the Children of Israel to pass by it, and fulfilled Thy excellent promises made to them because of their calmly endurance, and made them the master of the East and the West in the earth, wherein there are blessings for all the worlds; and Thou drowned Pharaoh and his armies and boats in the water.
سوال کرتا ہوں نو روشن معجزوں کے واسطے سے اور اس دن کے واسطے سے کہ جس دن تونے بنی اسرائیل کے لئے دریا میں راستہ بنایا اور ان چشموں میں جو پتھر سے جاری ہوئے کہ جن کے ذریعے تونے عجیب معجزات کو دریائے سوف میں ظاہر کیا۔ اور تونے دریا کے پانی کو بھنور کے درمیان پتھروں کے مانند جکڑ کے رکھ دیا اور تونے بنی اسرائیل کو دریا سے گذار دیا اور ان کے بارے میں تیرا بہترین وعدہ پورا ہوا جب انھوں نے صبر کیا اور تونے ان کو زمین کے مشرقوں اور مغربوں کا مالک بنایا جن میں تو نے عالمین کے لئے برکتیں رکھی ہیں اور تو نے فرعون اور اس کے لشکر کو اور ان کی سواریوں کو دریائے نیل میں غرق کر دیا۔
وَبِاسْمِکَ الْعَظِیْمِ الْاَعْظَمِ الْاَعْظَمِ الْاَعْظَمِ، اَلْاَعَزِّ الْاَجَلِّ الْاَ کْرَمِ، وَبِمَجْدِکَ الَّذِیْ تَجَلَّیْتَ بِہٖ لِمُوْسٰی کَلِیْمِکَ عَلَیْہِ السَّلَامُ فِیْ طُوْرِ سَیْنَآئَ، وَلِاِبْرَاھِیْمَ خَلِیْلِکَ عَلَیْہِ السَّلَامُ مِنْ قَبْلُ فِیْ مَسْجِدِ الْخَیْفِ، وَلِاِسْحٰقَ صَفِیِّکَ عَلَیْہِ السَّلَامُ فِیْ بِئْرِ شِیَعٍ، وَلِیَعْقُوْبَ نَبِیِّکَ عَلَیْہِ السَّلَامُ فِیْ بَیْتِ اِیْلٍ۔
Wa bismekal a’zeemil a-a’zamil a-a’zzil ajallil akrame wa bemajdekal laze tajallayta behi le moosa kaleemake a’layhis salaamo fee tore saynaa-a, wa le-ibraaheema a’layhis salaamo khaleeleka min qablo fee masjedil kheefe, wale ishaaqa safiyyeka a’layhis salaamo fee bea-re shee-i’n (sab-i’n) wa le yaa’qooba nabiyyeka a’layhis salaamo fee bayte eelin.
And (I beseech Thee) through Thy name, which is the most great, the most majestic, and the most holy; and through Thy glory, with which Thou revealed light to Moses, Thy addressee, peace be on him, on Mount Sinal; and earlier radiated the light for Abraham, Thy sincere friend peace be on him, in the mosque of al-Khayf; and for Isaac, Thy chosen Prophet, peace be on him, in Bi-ri shiay’, and for Thy Prophet Jacob, peace be on him, in Bayt iil.
اور سوالی ہوں تیرے نام کے واسطہ سے جو بلندترعزت والا روشن بزرگی والا ہے اورتیری شان کے واسطہ سےجو تو نے اپنے کلیم موسیٰ ؑ کے لئے طور سینا میں ظاہر کی اور اس سے پہلے اپنے خلیل ابراہیم ؑکے لئے مسجد خیف میں اور اپنے برگزیدہ اسحاق ؑکے لئے چاہ شیع میں ظاہر کی اور اپنے محبوب یعقوب ؑکے لئے بیتِ ایل میں ظاہر کی۔
وَاَوْفَیْتَ لِاِبْرَاھِیْمَ عَلَیْہِ السَّلَامُ بِمِیْثَاقِکَ، وَلِاِسْحٰقَ عَلَیْہِ السَّلَامُ بِحَلْفِکَ، وَلِیَعْقُوْبَ بِشَھَادَتِکَ، وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ بِوَعْدِکَ، وَلِلدَّاعِیْنَ بِاَسْمَآئِکَ فَاَجَبْتَ وَبِمَجْدِکَ الَّذِیْ ظَھَرَ لِمُوْسَی ابْنِ عِمْرَانَ عَلَیْہِ السَّلَامُ عَلٰی قُبَّۃِ الرُّمَّانِ۔
Wa awfayta le-ibraaheema a’layhis salaamo be meeshaaqeka wa le-ishaaqa be halfeka wa le yaa’qooba be shahadateka wa lil-moa-meneena be wa’deka wa liddaa-ee’na be asmaaeka fa-ajabta, wa be majdekal laze zahara le moosabne i’mraana a’layhis salaamo a’laa qubbatir rummaane.
And through Thy Glory, with which Thou fulfilled Thy promise to Abraham, peace be on him; and through Thy Oath in favour of Isaac. And through Thy witnessing favouring Jacob; and through the fulfillments of Thy promise to the faithful: and through Thy Names with which Thou accepted the prayers of supplications; and through Thy Glory, which appeared to Moses, son of Imran, in Qubbat al-Rumman.
اور تونےابراہیم ؑسے اپنا عہد و پیمان پورا کیا اور اسحاق ؑکے لئے اپنی قسم پوری کی اور یعقوب ؑکے لئے اپنی شہادت ظاہر کی اور مومنین سے اپنا وعدہ وفا کیا اور جنہوں نے تیرے ناموں کے ذریعے دعائیں کیں انہیں قبول کیا اور سوالی ہوں تیری اس شان کے واسطے سے جو قبہء رمان پر موسیٰ ابن عمرانؑ کے لئے ظاہر ہوئی۔
وَبِاٰیٰاتِکَ الَّتِیْ وَقَعَتْ عَلٰی اَرْضِ مِصْرَ بِمَجْدِ الْعِزَّۃِ وَالْغَلَبَۃِ، بِاٰیٰاتٍ عَزِیْزَۃٍ، وَبِسُلْطَانِ الْقُوَّۃِ، وَبِعِزَّۃِ الْقُدْرَۃِ، وَبِشَانِ الْکَلِمَۃِ التَّآمَّۃِ، وَبِکَلِمَاتِکَ الَّتِیْ تَفَضَّلْتَ بِھَا عَلٰی اَھْلِ السَّمٰوٰاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ، وَاَھْلِ الدُّنْیَا وَاَھْلِ الْاٰخِرَۃِ، وَبِرَحْمَتِکَ الَّتِیْ مَنَنْتَ بِھَا عَلٰی جَمِیْعِ خَلْقِکَ، وَبِاسْتِطَاعَتِکَ الَّتِیْ اَقَمْتَ بِھَا عَلَی الْعَالَمِیْنَ۔
Wa be aayaatekal latee wa qa-a’t a’laa arze misra be majdil i’zzate wal-ghalabate be aayaate a’zeezate wa be sultaanil quwwate wa be-i’zzatil qudrate wa be-shaanil kalematit teammate, wa be kalemaatekal latee tafazzalta behaa a’laa ahlis samaawaate wal arze wa ahlid dunyaa wa ahlil aakherate, wa be rahmatekal latee mananta behaa a’laa jamee-e’ khalqeka, wa bis-tetaa-a’tekal latee aqamta behaa a’lal a’alameena.
And through Thy Signs, which appeared on the soil of Egypt with great might and victory, with powerful signs and with the display of full command and great power; and with the affair of the perfect word; and with Thy words with which Thou doth a favor for the people of the skies and the earth and the people of here and the hereafter; and through Thy Mercy with which Thou bestowth upon all Thy creatures: and through thy Power with which Thou dominateth the worlds.
اور تیرے معجزوں کے واسطے سے جو ملک مصر میں تیری شان و عزّت اور غلبہ سےعزت والی نشانیوں سے غالب قوت سے قدرت کی بلندی اور پورا ہونے والے قول کی شان سے رونما ہوئے اور تیرے ان کلمات سے جن کے ذریعے تو نے آسمانوں اور زمین کے رہنے والوں اور اہلِ دنیا اور اہلِ آخرت پر احسان کیا اور سوالی ہوں تیری اس رحمت کے ذریعے سے جس سے تو نے اپنی ساری مخلوق پر کرم کیا سوالی ہوں تیری اس توانائی کے واسطے سے جس سے تو نے اہلِ عالم کو قائم رکھا۔
وَبِنُوْرِکَ الَّذِیْ قَدْ خَرَّ مِنْ فَزَعِہٖ طُوْرُ سَیْنَآئَ، وَبِعِلْمِکَ وَجَلَالِکَ وَکِبْرِیَآئِکَ وَعِزَّتِکَ وَجَبَرُوْتِکَ الَّتِیْ لَمْ تَسْتَقِلَّھَا الْاَرْضُ، وَانْخَفَضَتْ لَھَا السَّمٰوٰاتُ، وَانْزَجَرَ لَھَا الْعُمْقُ الْاَکْبَرُ، وَرَکَدَتْ لَھَا الْبِحَارُ وَالْاَنْہَارُ، وَخَضَعَتْ لَہَا الْجِبَالُ، وَسَکَنَتْ لَہَا الْاَرْضُ بِمَنَاکِبِھَا، وَاسْتَسْلَمَتْ لَھَا الْخَلَٓائِقُ کُلُّھَا، وَخَفَقَتْ لَہَا الرِّیَاحُ فِیْ جَرَیَانِہَا، وَخَمِدَتْ لَھَا النِّیْرَانُ فِیْ اَوْطَانِھَا۔
Wa be noorekal lazee qad kharra min faza-e’hi tooro saynaaa-a, wa be-i’lmeka wa jalaaleka wa kibreyaaa-eka wa i’zzateka wa jabarootekal latee lam tastaqillahal arzo wan-khafazat lahas samaawaato wan-zajara lahal u’mqul akbaro, wa rakadat lahal behaaro wal anhaaro, wa khaza-a’t lahal jebaalo wa sakanat lahal arzo be manaakebehaa, was-taslamat lahal khalaa-eqo kullohaa, wa khafaqat lahar reyaaho fi jarayaanehaa, wa khamadat lahan neeraano fee awtaanehaa.
And (I beseech Thee) through Thy Light, through fear of which Mount Sinai collapsed, through Thy Knowledge, and Thy Greatness and Majesty, and Thy Unique Magnificence and Thy honour, and (through) Thy might, which the earth could not bear, and, for which the heavens and earth bent down, and the great depths restrained themselves, and the seas and rivers became stable, and to which the mountains made submission, and due to which the earth became firm on its shoulders, and to which all creatures submitted, and due to which the winds breathed, and the flaming fires were extinguished in their places.
سوالی ہوں تیرے اس نور کے واسطے سے جس کے خوف سے طو رسینا چکنا چور ہوا سوالی ہوں تیرے اس علم و جلالت اور تیری بڑائی و عزّت اور تیرے جبروت کے واسطے سے جس کو زمین برداشت نہ کر سکی اور آسمان عاجز ہو گئے اور اس سے زمین کی گہرائیاں کپکپا گئیں جس کے آگے سمندر اور نہریں رک گئیں پہاڑ اس کے لئے جھک گئے اور زمین اس کے لئے اپنےستونوں پر ٹھہر گئی اور اس کے سامنے ساری مخلوق سرنگوں ہو گئی اپنی راہوں پر چلتی ہوائیں اس کے سامنےپریشان ہوگئیں اس کے لئے آگ اپنے مقام پر بجھ گئی۔
وَبِسُلْطَانِکَ الَّذِیْ عُرِفَتْ لَکَ بِہِ الْغَلَبَۃُ دَھْرَ الدُّھُوْرِ، وَحُمِدْتَ بِہٖ فِیْ السَّمٰوٰاتِ وَالْاَرَضِیْنَ، وَبِکَلِمَتِکَ کَلِمَۃِ الصِّدْقِ الَّتِیْ سَبَقَتْ لِاَبِیْنَا اٰدَمَ عَلَیْہِ السَّلَامُ وَذُرِّیَّتِہٖ بِالرَّحْمَۃِ وَاَسْئَلُکَ بِکَلِمَتِکَ الَّتِیْ غَلَبَتْ کُلَّ شَیْٓءٍ۔
Wa be sultaanekal laze o’refat laka behil ghalabato dahrad dohoore wa homid-ta behi fis samaawaate wal arazeena, wa bekalemateka kalematis sidqil latee sabaqat le-anbeenaa aadama a’layhis salaamo wa zurriyyatehi bir-rahmate wa as-aloka be kalematekal latee ghalabat kulla shay-in.
And I beseech Thee through Thy might, through which Thou hath been known to be All-powerful for ever and ever, and for which Thou hath been praised in the heavens and the earth; and I beseech Thee through Thy word, the Word of Truth, which became a blessing for our father Adam and his generation; and I beseech Thee through Thy word, by which Thou overcame everything.
سوالی ہوں تیری اس حکومت کے واسطے سے جس کے ذریعے ہمیشہ ہمیشہ تیرے غلبے کی پہچان ہوتی ہے اور آسمانوں اور زمینوں میں اس سے تیری حمد ہوتی ہے سوالی ہوں تیرے اس سچے قول کے واسطے سے جو تو نے ہمارے باپ آدم ؑاور ان کی اولادکے لئے رحمت کے ساتھ فرمایا ہے سوالی ہوں تیرے اس کلمہ کے واسطے سے جو تمام چیزوں پر غالب ہے۔
وَبِنُوْرِ وَجْھِکَ الَّذِیْ تَجَلَّیْتَ بِہٖ لِلْجَبَلِ فَجَعَلَہٗ دَکًّا وَّخَرَّ مُوْسٰی صَعِقًا، وَبِمَجْدِکَ الَّذِیْ ظَھَرَ عَلٰی طُوْرِ سَیْنَآئَ فَکَلَّمْتَ بِہٖ عَبْدَکَ وَرَسُوْلَکَ مُوْسَی ابْنَ عِمْرَانَ وَبِطَلْعَتِكَ فِیْ سَاعِیْرَ، وَظُهُوْرِكَ فِیْ جَبَلِ فَارَانَ بِرَبَوَاتِ الْمُقَدَّسِیْنَ، وَجُنُوْدِ الْمَلٰٓئِكَۃِ الصَّافِّیْنَ، وَخُشُوْعِ الْمَلٰٓئِكَۃِ الْمُسَبِّحِیْنَ۔
Wa be noore wajhekal lazee tajallayta behi lil jabale fa-ja-a’ltahu dakkaa wa kharra moosaa sa-e’qaa, wa be majdekal lazee zahara a’laa tore saynaaa-a fa-kallamta behi a’bdaka wa rasoolaka moosabne i’mraana, wa be tal-a’teka fee saa-e’era wa zohooreka fee jabale faaraana be-rabawaatil moqaddaseena wa jonoodil malaaa-ekatis saaf-feena wa khoshoo-e’l malaaa-ekatil mosabbeheena.
And I beseech thee through the light of Thy Face, which when it flased on Mount Sinai crushed it to pieces, whereby Moses fainted and fell down, and through Thy Glory, which appeared on Mount Sinai, and through which Thou addressed Thy slave and Thy Mesenger; Moses, son of ’Imran, and through Thy appearance in Sa’ir and on Mount Faran near Rabawat, which are clean and holy places, when troops of heavenly angels were in rows, and with the sumissiveness of the angels praising Thee.
سوالی ہوں تیری ذات کے اس نور کے واسطے سے جس کا جلوہ تونے پہاڑ پر ظاہر کیا تو وہ ٹکڑے ٹکڑے ہوگیا اور موسیٰؑ بے ہوش ہو کر گرپڑے سوالی ہوں تیری اس بزرگی کے واسطے سے جو طور سینا پر ظاہر ہوئی تو، تو اپنے بندے اور اپنے رسول موسیٰ ؑ ابن عمران سے ہم کلام ہوا سوالی ہوں تیری نورانیت کے ذریعے جناب عیسیٰؑ کی مناجات کی جگہ میں اور تیرے نور کے ظہور کے ذریعے کوہِ فاران میں بلند و مقدس مقامات میں صفیں باندھے ہوئے ملائکہ کی فوج کے ذریعے اور تسبیح خواں ملا ئکہ کے خشوع کے ذریعے۔
وَبِبَرَكَاتِكَ الَّتِیْ بَارَكْتَ فِیْهَا عَلٰی اِبْرَاهِیْمَ خَلِیْلِكَ عَلَیْهِ السَّلَامُ فِیْ اُمَّۃِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ، وَبَارَكْتَ لِاِسْحٰقَ صَفِیِّکَ فِیْ اُمَّۃِ عِیْسٰی عَلَیْہِمَا السَّلَامُ، وَبَارَکْتَ لِیَعْقُوْبَ اِسْرَآئِیْلِکَ فِیْ اُمَّۃِ مُوْسٰی عَلَیْھِمَا السَّلَامُ، وَبَارَکْتَ لِحَبِیْبِکَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ فِیْ عِتْرَتِہٖ وَذُرِّیَّتِہٖ وَاُمَّتِہٖ۔
Wa be-barakaatekal latee baarakta feehaa a’laa ibraaheema khaleeleka a’layhe wa aalehi, wa baarakta le-ishaaqa safiyyeka fee ummate e’esaa a’layhemas salaamo, wa baarakta le ya’qooba israaa-eeleka fee ummate moosaa a’layhemas salaamo, wa baarakta le habibeka mohammadin sallallaaho a’layhe wa aalehi fee i’tratehi wa zurriyyatehi wa ummatehi.
And with Thy blessings with which Thou honoured Abraham, Thy sincere friend, peace be upon him, among the followers of Muhammad, Thy blessings be upon him and his Progeny and Thou honoured Isaac, Thy chosen prophet, among the followers of Jesus, peace be on them both, and honoured Jacob, Thy favoured slave, by including him among the followers of Moses, peace be on them both, and honoured Thy intimate friend Muhammad, may the blessings of Allah be upon him and his Progeny, and peace be upon his offspring and seed, and his people.
سوال کرتا ہوں تیری ان برکات کے ذریعے جن سے تو نے برکت عطا کی اپنے خلیل ابراہیم ؑ کو حضرت محمد ؐ کی امت میں برکت دی اور اپنے برگزیدہ اسحاق ؑکو حضرت عیسیٰ ؑکی امت میں برکت دی اور برکت دی تونے اپنے خاص بندے یعقوب ؑ کو حضرت موسیٰ ؑ کی امت میں اور برکت دی تو نے اپنے حبیب حضرت محمد ؐ کو ان کی عترت، ذریت اور ان کی امت میں۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ وَکَمَا غِبْنَا عَنْ ذٰلِکَ وَلَمْ نَشْھَدْہُ، وَاٰمَنَّا بِہٖ وَلَمْ نَرَہٗ صِدْقًا وَّعَدْلًا، اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَّاَنْ تُبَارِکَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَّتَرَحَّمَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ کَاَفْضَلِ مَا صَلَّیْتَ وَبَارَکْتَ وَتَرَحَّمْتَ عَلٰی اِبْرَاھِیْمَ وَاٰلِ اِبْرَاھِیْمَ، اِنَّکَ حَمِیْدٌ مَّجِیْدٌ، فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا تُرِیْدُ وَاَنْتَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیْٓءٍ قَدِیْرٌ۔
Allaahumma wa kamaa ghibnaa a’n zaaleka wa lam nash-had-ho wa aamannaa behi wa lam narahu sidqan wa a’dlaa an tosallaeya a’laa mohammadin wa aale mohammadin wa an tobaareka a’laa mohammadin wa aale mohammadin wa tarahhama a’laa mohammadin wa aale mohammadin ka-afzale maa sallayta wa baarakta wa tarahhamta a’laa ibraaheema wa aale ibraaheema innaka hameedum majeedun fa-a’alul lemaa toreedo wa anta a’laa kulle shay-in qadeerun.
O Allah! Just as we believe in the turth and justice of these manifestations of Thy glory, without having been present at the time, and without having been eyewitnesses. So we beseech Thee to send Thy blessings upon Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad, and honour Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhamamd, and honour Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad and have mercy on Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad, with the blessings, honour, and mercy Thou sent and bestowed on and meted out to Abraham and the posterity of Abraham. Surely Thou art Praiseworthy, Glorious, the Doer of what Thou willeth. Thou art Powerful over all things.
خدایا!جیسا کہ ہم ان کے عہد میں موجود نہ تھے اور ہم نے انہیں دیکھا نہیں اور ان پر سچائی اور حقانیت کے ساتھ اور درستی سے ایمان لائے ہم چاہتے ہیں کہ محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت فرما اور محمدؐ وآل محمدؐ پربرکت نازل فرما اور محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر شفقت فرما جس طرح تو نے بہترین رحمت اور برکت اور شفقت ابراہیم و آل ابراہیم پر فرمائی تھی بے شک تو حمد اور شان والا ہے جو چاہے سو کرنے والا ہے اور تو ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتاہے۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ بِحَقِّ ھٰذَا الدُّعَآئِ وَبِحَقِّ ھٰذِہِ الْاَسْمَآئِ الَّتِیْ لَا یَعْلَمُ تَفْسِیْرَ ھَا وَلَا یَعْلَمُ بَاطِنَھَا غَیْرُکَ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّافْعَلْ بِیْ مَآ اَنْتَ اَھْلُہٗ وَلَا تَفْعَلْ بِیْ مَآ اَنَا اَھْلُہٗ وَاغْفِرْلِیْ مِنْ ذُنُوْبِیْ مَآ تَقَدَّمَ مِنْہَا وَمَا تَاخَّرَ وَوَسِّعْ عَلَیَّ مِنْ حَلَالِ رِزْقِکَ وَاکْفِنِیْ مَؤْنَۃَ اِنْسَانِ سَوْئٍ وَّجَارِ سَوْئٍ وَّقَرِیْنِ سَوْئٍ وَّسُلْطَانِ سَوْئٍ اِنَّکَ عَلٰی مَا تَشَآئُ قَدِیْرٌ وَّبِکُلِّ شَیْٓءٍ عَلِیْمٌ اٰمِیْنَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ۔
Allaahumma be haqqe haazad do-a’aa-e wa be haqqe haazehil as-maaa-il latee laa ya’lamo baatenahaa ghayroka salle a’laa mohammadiwn wa aale mohammadiwn waf-a’l bee maa anta ahlohu wa laa taf-a’l bee maa anaa ahlohu waghfir lee min zonoobee maa taqaddama minhaa wa maa ta-akh-khara wa wasse’ a’layya min halaale rizqeka wakfenee ma-oonata insaane saw-iwn wa jaare saw-iwn wa qareene saw-iwn wa sultaane saw-in innaka a’laa maa ta-shaaa-o qadeerun wa be kulle shay-in a’leemun aameena rabbal a’alameena.
O Allah, for the sake of this prayer, and for the sake of these Names which no one can interpret, the inner meaning of which no one other than Yourself knows. Send Your blessing upon Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad; and do to me what suits You and do not do to me what I deserve and forgive my sins past and future, and increase Your lawful sustenance for me, and save me from the help of wicked men, wicked neighbours, wicked companions, and wicked rulers Verily You are able to do whatever You will, and You know everything. Amen, O Lord of the worlds.
اے معبود! اس دعا کے واسطے اور ان ناموں کے واسطے سے کہ جن کی تفسیر تیرے سوا کوئی نہیں جانتا اور جن کی حقیقت سے سوائے تیرے کوئی آگاہ نہیں تو محمد ؐو آل محمدؐ پر رحمت فرما اور مجھ سے وہ سلوک کر جو تیرے شایان ِشان ہے نہ کہ وہ سلوک جس کا میں مستحق ہوں اور میرے گناہوں میں سے جو میں نے پہلے کیے اور جو بعد میں،بخش دے اور اپنا رزق ِحلال میرے لئے کشادہ کر دے اور مجھے برے انسان برے ہمسائے برے ساتھی اور برے حاکم کی اذیت سے بچائے رکھ بے شک تو جو چاہے وہ کرنے پر قادر ہے اور ہر چیز کا علم رکھتا ہے آمین یارب العالمین۔
يَااَللهُ يَاحَنَّانُ يَامَنَّانُ يَابَدِيْعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ، يَاذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْاِكْرَامِ، يَااَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ اَللّٰہُمَّ بِحَقِّ ھٰذَا الدُّعَآئِ وَبِحَقِّ ھٰذِہِ الْاَسْمَآئِ الَّتِیْ لَا یَعْلَمُ تَفْسِیْرَ ھَا وَلَا یَعْلَمُ بَاطِنَھَا غَیْرُکَ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّافْعَلْ بِیْ مَآ اَنْتَ اَھْلُہٗ وَلَا تَفْعَلْ بِیْ مَآ اَنَا اَھْلُہٗ وَاغْفِرْلِیْ مِنْ ذُنُوْبِیْ مَآ تَقَدَّمَ مِنْہَا وَمَا تَاخَّرَ وَوَسِّعْ عَلَیَّ مِنْ حَلَالِ رِزْقِکَ وَاکْفِنِیْ مَؤْنَۃَ اِنْسَانِ سَوْئٍ وَّجَارِ سَوْئٍ وَّقَرِیْنِ سَوْئٍ وَّسُلْطَانِ سَوْئٍ اِنَّکَ عَلٰی مَا تَشَآئُ قَدِیْرٌ وَّبِکُلِّ شَیْٓءٍ عَلِیْمٌ اٰمِیْنَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ۔
Yaa allaaho yaa hannaano yaa mannaano yaa badee-a’s samaawaate wal arze yaa zal-jalaale wal ikraame yaa arhamar raahemeena allaahumma be haqqe haazad do-a’aa-e wa be haqqe haazehil as-maaa-il latee laa ya’lamo baatenahaa ghayroka salle a’laa mohammadiwn wa aale mohammadiwn waf-a’l bee maa anta ahlohu wa laa taf-a’l bee maa anaa ahlohu waghfir lee min zonoobee maa taqaddama minhaa wa maa ta-akh-khara wa wasse’ a’layya min halaale rizqeka wakfenee ma-oonata insaane saw-iwn wa jaare saw-iwn wa qareene saw-iwn wa sultaane saw-in innaka a’laa maa ta-shaaa-o qadeerun wa be kulle shay-in a’leemun aameena rabbal a’alameena.
O Allah, O Compassionate, O Kind O Original Designer of Heavens and Earth O Lord of Glory and Honour O most Merciful of all the merciful. O Allah, for the sake of this prayer, and for the sake of these Names which no one can interpret, the inner meaning of which no one other than Yourself knows. اے اللہ اے محبت کرنے والے اے احسان کرنے والے اے آسمان اور زمین کے ایجاد کرنے وا لے اے جلالت اور بزرگی والے اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے اے معبود اس دعا کے واسطے۔ اے معبود! اس دعا کے واسطے اور ان ناموں کے واسطے سے کہ جن کی تفسیر تیرے سوا کوئی نہیں جانتا اور جن کی حقیقت سے سوائے تیرے کوئی آگاہ نہیں تو محمد ؐو آل محمدؐ پر رحمت فرما اور مجھ سے وہ سلوک کر جو تیرے شایان ِشان ہے نہ کہ وہ سلوک جس کا میں مستحق ہوں اور میرے گناہوں میں سے جو میں نے پہلے کیے اور جو بعد میں،بخش دے اور اپنا رزق ِحلال میرے لئے کشادہ کر دے اور مجھے برے انسان برے ہمسائے برے ساتھی اور برے حاکم کی اذیت سے بچائے رکھ بے شک تو جو چاہے وہ کرنے پر قادر ہے اور ہر چیز کا علم رکھتا ہے آمین یارب العالمین۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ بِحَقِّ ھٰذَا الدُّعَآئِ وَبِحَقِّ ھٰذَہِ الْاَسْمَآئِ الَّتِیْ لَا یَعْلَمُ تَفْسِیْرَھَا وَلَا تَاوِیْلَھَا وَلَا بَاطِنَھَا وَلَا ظَاھِرَھَا غَیْرُکَ اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاَنْ تَرْزُقَنِیْ خَیْرَ الدُّنْیَا وَالْاٰخِرَۃِ۔
Allaahumma behaqqe haazad do-a’aa-e wa be haqqe haazehil asmaaa-il lati laa ya’lamo tafseerohaa wa laa taaweelohaa walaa baatenahaa wa laa zaaherahaa ghairoka an tosalle a’laa mohammadin wa aale mohammadin wa an tarzoqanee kharad dunyaa wal aakherah.
O Allah For the sake of this prayer, and for the sake of these Names which no one can interpret, the inner and outer meaning of which no one other than Your self knows. Send Your blessing upon Muhammad and the Progeny of Muhammad; and give me the good of this world and the hereafter.
اے معبود! اس دعا کے واسطے سے اور ان ناموں کے واسطے سے کہ جن کی تفسیر اور تاویل اور جن کے باطن و ظاہر کو سوائے تیرے کوئی نہیں جانتا تو محمدؐ و آل محمدؐ پر رحمت فرما اور مجھے دنیا اور آخرت کی بھلائی عطا فرما دے۔
۔۔۔وَافْعَلْ بِیْ مَآ اَنْتَ اَھْلُہٗ وَلَا تَفْعَلْ بِیْ مَآ اَنَا اَھْلُہٗ وَانْتَقِمْ لِیْ مِنْ فُلَانِ بْنِ فَلَانٍ۔۔۔
…waf-a’l bee maa anta ahlohu wa laa taf-a’l bee maa anaa ahlohu wantaqim lee min fulaan ibn fulaan…
…and do to me what suits You and do not do to me what I deserve and exact vengeance from…
۔۔۔اور مجھ سے وہ سلوک کر جو تیرے شایانِ شان ہے نہ کہ وہ سلوک جس کا میں مستحق ہوں اور میری طرف سے فلاں ابن فلاں سے بدلہ لے۔۔۔
۔۔۔وَاغْفِرْلِیْ مِنْ ذُنُوْبِیْ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْھَا وَمَا تَاخَّرَ وَ لِوَالِدَیَّ وَلِجَمِیْعِ الْمُؤْ مِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَوَسِّعْ عَلَیَّ مِنْ حَلَالِ رِزْقِکَ وَاکْفِنِیْ مَؤْنَۃَ اِنْسَانِ سَوْٓئٍ وَّجَارِ سَوْٓئٍ وَّسُلْطَانِ سَوْٓئٍ وَّقَرِیْنِ سَوْٓئٍ وَّیَوْمِ سَوْٓئٍ وَّسَاعَۃِ سَوْٓئٍ وَّانْتَقِمْ لِیْ مِمَّنْ یِّکِیْدُ نِیْ وَمِمَّنْ یَّبْغِیْ عَلَیَّ وَیُرِیْدُ بِیْ وَبِاَھْلِیْ وَاَوْلَادِیْ وَاِخْوَانِیْ وَجِیْرَانِیْ وَقَرَابَاتِیْ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ظُلْمًا اِنَّکَ عَلٰی مَا تَشَآئُ قَدِیْرٌ وَّبِکُلِّ شَیْٓءٍ عَلِیْمٌ اٰمِیْنَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِیْنَ۔
…waghfirlee min zonoobi maa taqaddama minhaa wa maa akh-khara wa le waaledayya wa le jamee-i’l mo-meneena wal momenaate wa wasse’ a’layya min halaale rizqeka wak-fenee maoonata insaane saw-in wa saa-a’te saw-in wantaqim lee mimman yakeedonee wa mimman yabghee a’layya wa yoreedo bee wa be ahlee wa awlaadee wa ikhwaanee wa jeeraani wa qaraabati menal momeneena wal momenaate zulman innaka a’laa maa tashaaa-o qadeerun wa be kulle shay’in a’leemun aameen rabbal a’aalameen.
...and forgive my sins past and future, and forgive my parents and all faithful men and women, and increase Your lawful sustenance for me, and save me from the help of wicked men, wicked neighbours, wicked rulers, wicked companions, and evil days And evil hours, and exact vengeance for me on everyone who hatches secret plots against me, and on everyone who oppresses me and seeks to do to me or my family or my children or my brothers or my neighbours or my relations among faithful men and women (seeks to do) injustice. Verily You are able to do whatever You will, and You know everything. Amen, O Lord of the worlds.
۔۔۔اور میرے گذشتہ اور آئندہ تمام گناہوں کو معاف فرما اور میرے ماں باپ اور سارے مومنین اور مومنات کے گناہ بخش دے اور اپنا رزق ِحلال میرے لئے کشادہ کر دے اور مجھ کو برے انسان برے ہمسائے برے حاکم برے ساتھی برے دن برے وقت کی اذیت سے بچائے رکھ اور میری طرف سے بدلہ لے اس سے جس نے مجھے دھوکہ دیا اور جس نے مجھ پر ظلم کیا اور جو ظلم کا ارادہ رکھتا ہے میرے اہل میری اولاد میرے بھائیوں اور میرے ہمسایوں کےلیے جو مومنین اور مومنات میں سے ہیں اس سے انتقام لے بے شک تو جو کچھ چاہتا ہے اس پر قدرت رکھتا ہے اور ہر چیز سے واقف ہے آمین یا رب العالمین۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ بِحَقِّ ھٰذَا الدُّعَآئِ تَفَضَّلْ عَلٰی فُقَرَآئِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ بِالْغِنٰی وَالثَّرْوَۃِ وَعَلٰی مَرْضَی الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ بِالشِّفَآئِ وَالصِّحَۃِ وَعَلٰٓی اَحْیَآئِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ بِاللُّطْفِ وَالْکَرَامَۃِ وَعَلٰی اَمْوَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ بِالْمَغْفِرَۃِ وَالرَّحْمَۃِ وَعَلٰی مُسَافِرِی الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ بِالرَّدِّ اِلٰی اَوْطَانِھِمْ سَالِمِیْنَ غَانِمِیْنَ بِرَحْمَتِکَ یَآاَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ وَصَلَّی اللہُ عَلٰی سَیِّدِ نَا مُحَمَّدٍ خَاتَمِ النَّبِیِّیْنَ وَعِتْرَتِہِ الطَّاھِرِیْنَ وَسَلَّمَ تَسْلِیْمًا کَثِیْرًا۔
Allaahumma behaqqe haazad do-a’aa-e tafazzal a’laa foqaraaa-il momeneena wal momenaate bil ghenaa was sarwate wa a’laa marzal momeneena wal momenaate bish-shefaa-e was-sehate wa a’laa ahyaaa-il momeneena wal momenaate bil-lutfe wal karaamate wa a’laa amwaatil momeneena wal momenaate bil maghferate war-rahmate wa a’laa mosaaferil momeneena wal momenaate bir-radde elaa awtaanehim saalemeena ghaanemeena be rahmateka yaa arhamar raahemeena wa sallallaaho a’laa sayyedenaa mohammadin khaatamin nabiyyeena wa i’tratehit taaheraana wa sallama tasleeman kaseeran.
O Allah! For the sake of this prayer, grant wealth and affluence to indigent faithful men and women, and recovery and sound health to the sick faithful men and women, and bliss and clemency to the living faithful men and women, and remit the sins of, and have mercy on, the deceased faithful men and women, and arrange the return home of all faithful travellers with safety and gain. Through Your mercy, O Most Merciful of all the merciful. May Allah’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad, the seal of the prophets, and his Progeny, the purified. and His peace be upon them plentifully.
اے معبود! اس دعا کے واسطے سے غریب مومنین اور مومنات کو مال و دولت عطا فرما بیمار مومنین اور مومنات کو تندرستی اور صحت عطا فرما اور زندہ مومنین اور مومنات پر لطف و کرم فرما اور مردہ مومنین اور مومنات پر بخشش و رحمت فرما اور مسافر مومنین اور مومنات کو سلامتی و رزق کے ساتھ گھروں میں واپس لا اپنی رحمت سے اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے! اور ہمارے سردار نبیوں کے خاتم حضرت محمدؐ پر رحمتِ خدا ہو اور ان کی پاکیزہ اولاد پر اور سلام ہو بہت زیادہ سلام۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ بِحُرْمَۃِ ھٰذَا الدُّعَآئِ وَبِمَافَاتَ مِنْہُ مِنَ الْاَسْمَآئِ وَبِمَا یَشْتَمِلُ عَلَیْہِ مِنَ التَّفْسِیْرِ وَالتَّدْبِیْرِ الَّذِیْ لَا یُحِیْطُ بِہٖٓ اِلَّا اَنْتَ اَنْ تَفْعَلْ بِیْ کَذَا وَکَذَا۔
Allaahumma innee as-aloka be hurmate haazeid-do-a’aaa-e wa bemaa faata minho menal as-maaa-e wa bemaa yashtamelo a’layhe menat-tafseere wat-tadbeeril lazee laa yoheeto behi illaa anta an taf-a’la bee kazaa wa kazaa.
O Allah I ask you for the sake of this prayer and what was mentioned in it from names and what it contains from meanings and design which none other than You comprehend fully that you do to me.
اے معبود! میں سوال کرتا ہوں اس دعا کی حرمت کے واسطے سے اور ان ناموں کے ذریعے جو اس میں مذکور نہیں اور اس تفسیر و تدبیر کے واسطے سے سوال کرتا ہوں جس کا سوائے تیرے کوئی احاطہ نہیں کر سکتا کہ تو میرے لئے ایسا اور ایسا کر۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
