Seeking Refuge
طلب پناہ
The reciter addresses Allah as Lord and calls themselves His slave, affirming faith, holding firm to the covenant they have pledged, and asking forgiveness for the sins that none but Allah can forgive. The supplication then sets each human weakness against a quality of Allah -- helplessness against His majesty, poverty against His self-sufficiency, ignorance against His forbearance, fear against His safety, illness against His cure, weakness against His strength -- taking refuge in Him at every turn. It closes by addressing Allah as the One from whom the darkness of the night, the reach of the sky and the creatures of the sea and its depths are not hidden, who undoes strength, lifts troubles and sends down bounty.

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ رَبِّیْ وَاَنَا عَبْدُكَ اٰمَنْتُ بِكَ مُخْلِصًا لَكَ عَلٰی عَهْدِكَ وَ وَعْدِكَ مَااسْتَطَعْتُ اَتُوْبُ اِلَیْكَ مِنْ سُوْۗئٍ عَمَلِیْ وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِذُنُوْبِی الَّتِیْ لَا یَغْفِرُهَا غَیْرُكَ اَصْبَحَ ذُلِّیْ مُسْتَجِیْرًا بِعِزَّتِكَ وَاَصْبَحَ فَقْرِیْ مُسْتَجِیْرًا بِغِنَاكَ وَاَصْبَحَ جَهْلِیْ مُسْتَجِیْرًا بِحِلْمِكَ وَاَصْبَحْتُ قِلَّۃُ حِیْلَتِیْ مُسْتَجِیْرَۃً بِقُدْرَتِكَ وَاَصْبَحَ خَوْفِیْ مُسْتَجِیْرًا بَاَمَانِكَ وَاَصْبَحَ دَاۗئِیْ مُسْتَجِیْرًا بِدَوَاۗئِكَ وَاَصْبَحَ سُقْمِیْ مُسْتَجِیْرًا بِشِفَاۗئِكَ وَاَصْبَحَ حِیْقِ مُسْتَجِیْرًا بِقَضَاۗئِكَ وَاَصْبَحَ ضُعْفِیْ مُسْتَجِیْرًا بِقُوَّتِكَ وَاَصْبَحَ ذَنْبِیْ مُسْتَجِیْرًا بِمَغْفِرَتِكَ وَاَصْبَحَ وَجْهِی الْفَانِی الْبَالِیْ مُسْتَجِیْرًا بِوَجْهِكَ الْبَاقِی الدَّاۗئِمُ الَّذِیْ لَا یَبْلٰی وَلَا یَفْنٰی۔
Allaahumma anta rabbee waanaa 'abduka aamantu bika mukhlisan laka 'alaa 'ahdika wa wa'dika maastata'tu atoobu ilayka min soo'in 'amalee wa'astaghfiruka lizunoobee allatee laa yaghfiruhaa ghayruka asbaha zullee mustajeeran bi'izzatika waasbaha faqree mustajeeran bighinaaka waasbaha jahlee mustajeeran bihilmika waasbahtu qillatu heelatee mustajeeratan biqudratika waasbaha khawfee mustajeeran baamaanika waasbaha daa'ee mustajeeran bidawaa'ika waasbaha suqmee mustajeeran bishifaa'ika waasbaha heeqi mustajeeran biqadaa'ika waasbaha du'fee mustajeeran biquwwatika waasbaha zanbee mustajeeran bimaghfiratika waasbaha wajhee al-faanee al-baalee mustajeeran biwajhika al-baaqee ad-daa'imu allazee laa yablaa walaa yafnaa. auto
O Allah! You are my Lord and I am Your slave, I have brought faith in You I am firm on Your covenant with sincerity, and after pledging my covenant to You I seek forgiveness for my sins. I seek forgiveness for those sins, which no one can forgive except You. My helplessness wishes to take refuge from You majesty and honour. My poverty seeks refuge from Your self sufficiency. My ignorance seeks refuge from Your tolerance and my laxity seeks refuge from Your power. My fear seeks refuge from Your safety. My illness seeks refuge from Your cure. My death seeks refuge from Your judgement. My weakness seeks refuge from Your strength. My mortality seeks refuge from Your immortality. My extinction seeks refuge from Your eternality.
اے پالنے والے! تو میرا پروردگار ہے اور میں تیرا بندہ ہوں، تجھ پر ایمان لایا ہوں، بڑے خلوص کے ساتھ تیرے عہد اور وعدہ پر جہاں تک امکان میں ہے قائم ہوں، تجھ سے عہد کرنے کے بعد اپنی بدعملی سے توبہ کرتا ہوں، میں تجھ سے ان گناہوں کی معافی چاہتا ہوں، جنہیں تیرے سوا کوئی معاف نہیں کر سکتا۔ میری عاجزی تیری عزّت سے پناہ حاصل کرنا چاہتی ہے، میری فقیری تیرے استغناء سے پناہ طلب ہے، میری جہالت تیری بردباری سے اور میری کوتاہ تدبیریں تیری قدرت، میرا خوف تیرے امان، میرا مرض تیری دوا، میری بیماری تیری شفا، میری موت تیرے فیصلے، میری کمزوری تیری قوت اور میرا مذہب تیری بخشش اور میری ناتواں و فنا پذیر ذات تیرے باقی اور دائمی قدیم اور فنا نہ ہونے والی ذات سے پناہ طلب ہے۔
یَا مَنْ لَا یُوَارِیْ مِنْهُ لَیْلٌ دَاجٍ وَلَا سَمَاۗئٌ ذَاتُ اَبْرَاجٍ وَلَا حُجُبٌ ذَاتُ اِرْتَاجٍ وَلَا مَا فِیْ قَعْرِ بَحْرٍ عَجَّاجٍ۔ یَا دَافِعَ السَّطَوَاتِ یَا كَاشِفَ الْكُرُ بَاتِ یَا مُنَزِّلُ الْبَرَكَاتِ مِنْ فَوْقِ سَبْعِ سَمٰوٰتٍ اَسْئَلُكَ یَا فَتَّاحُ یَا نَفَّاحُ یَا مُرْتَاحُ یَا مَنْ بِیَدِهٖ خَزَاۗئِنُ كُلِّ مِفْتَاحٍ اَسْئَلُكَ اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّیِّبِیْنَ الطَّاهِرِیْنَ اَنْ تَفْتَحَ لِیْ خَیْرَ الدُّنْیَا وَالْآخِرَۃِ وَاَنْ تَحْجُبَ عَنِّیْ فِتْنَۃَ الْمُؤَكَّلِ بِیْ۔
Yaa man laa yuwaaree minhu laylun daajin walaa samaa'un zaatu abraajin walaa hujubun zaatu irtaajin walaa maa fee qa'ri bahrin 'ajjaajin.
Yaa daafi'a as-satawaati yaa kaashifa al-kuru baati yaa munazzilu al-barakaati min fawqi sab'i samaawaatin as'aluka yaa fattaahu yaa naffaahu yaa murtaahu yaa man biyadihee khazaa'inu kulli miftaahin as'aluka an tusalliya 'alaa muhammadin waaali muhammadin at-tayyibeena at-taahireena an taftaha lee khayra ad-dunyaa wal-aakhirati waan tahjuba 'annee fitnata al-mu'akkali bee. auto
O Allah! From whom the darkness of the night is not concealed, nor the big sky is covered, neither the creatures living in the sea nor those living in the bottom of sea are hidden from You. O the one to nullify the strength and the one to waive the troubles. O the One to send bounties from the skies. I request You, O the one to open the ways, O the one who rewards, O the possessor of the keys of the treasures I request you to send blessings on Mohammad (s.a.w.a) and his pure Progeny (a.s). Grant me the goodness of the world and the Hereafter.
اے وہ خدا جس سے تاریک راتیں پوشیدہ نہیں، نہ برجوں والا آسمان روپوش ہو سکتا ہے، و طوفانی پردوں میں رہنے والے، نہ سیلاب خیز دریاؤں کی تہہ میں رہنے والی چیزیں چھپی ہوئی ہیں، اے طاقتوں کو ہیچ اور زحمتوں کو دور کرنے والے۔ اے سات آسمانوں سے برکتیں نازل کرنے والے، میں تجھ سے درخواست کر رہا ہوں، اے بندشوں کو کھولنے والے، اے انعام دینے والے، اے راحت رساں، اے وہ کہ جس کے ہاتھ میں تمام خزانوں کی کنجیاں ہیں۔ میری درخواست ہے کہ پاک و طاہر محمدؐ اور آل محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما اور میرے لئے دین و دنیا کی نیکیاں عطا فرما، مجھے اس فتنے سے بچا جو مجھ پر مسلط ہے۔
وَلَا تُسَلِّطْهُ عَلَیَّ فَیُهْلِكَنِیْ وَلَا تَكِلْنِیْ اِلٰی اَحَدٍ طَرْفَۃَ عَیْنٍ فَیَعْجِزَ عَنِّیْ وَلَا تَحْرِمْنِی الْجَنَّۃِ وَارْحَمْنِیْ وَتَوَفَّنِیْ مُسْلِمًا وَاَلْحِقْنِیْ بِالصّٰلِحِیْنَ وَاكْفُفْنِیْ بِالْحَلَالِ عَنْ الْحَرَامِ وَالطَّیِّبِ عَنِ الْخَبِیْثِ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ۔
Walaa tusallithu 'alayya fayuhlikanee walaa takilnee ilaa ahadin tarfata 'aynin faya'jiza 'annee walaa tahrimnee al-jannati warhamnee watawaffanee musliman wal-hiqnee bis-saaliheena wakfufnee bil-halaali 'an al-haraami wat-tayyibi 'ani al-khabeethi yaa arhama ar-raahimeena. auto
Save me from the temptation, which has overpowered me and which can destroy me. Don't entrust me to somebody else even for a second, as he will be afraid of me, don't make me away from Heaven. Have mercy on me, let me die as a Muslim, and gather me together with pious people. Grant me pure sustenance and save me from prohibitions. O the most merciful of all the merciful.
اسے مجھ پر قابو نہ پانے دے کہ میں ہلاک ہو جاؤں گا، مجھے ایک لمحے کے لئے بھی کسی دوسرے کے حوالے نہ فرما کہ وہ مجھ سے گھبرا جائے گا، مجھے جنّت سے محروم نہ کر، مجھ پر رحم فرما، مجھے مسلمان اُٹھا، اور نیک عمل لوگوں میں شریک کر دے، مجھے حلال دے کر حرام سے بچا، پاک روزی دے کر خبیث سے محفوظ رکھ، اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ خَلَقْتَ الْقُلُوْبَ عَلٰی اِرَادَتِكَ وَفَطَرْتَ الْعُقُوْلَ عَلٰی مَعْرِفَتِكَ فَتَمَلْمَلَتِ الْاَفْئِدَۃُ مِنْ مَخَافَتِكَ وَصَرَخَتِ الْقُلُوْبُ بِالْوَلَهِ اِلَیْكَ وَتَقَاصَرَ وُسْعُ قَدْرِ الْعُقُوْلِ عَنِ الثَّنَاۗئِ عَلَیْكَ وَانْقَطَعَتِ الْاَلْفَاظُ عَنْ مِقْدَارِ مَحَاسِنِكَ وَكَلَّتِ الْاَلْسُنُ عَنْ اِحْصَاۗئِ نِعَمِكَ۔
Allaahumma khalaqta al-qulooba 'alaa iraadatika wafatarta al-'uqoola 'alaa ma'rifatika fatamalmalati al-af'idatu min makhaafatika wasarakhati al-quloobu bil-walahi ilayka wataqaasara wus'u qadri al-'uqooli 'ani ath-thanaa'i 'alayka wanqata'ati al-alfaazu 'an miqdaari mahaasinika wakallati al-alsunu 'an ihsaa'i ni'amika. auto
O Allah! You have created the hearts and the minds for Your recognition, the heart beats due to Your fear, and the heart is restless due to Your love. The mind is weak for praising You and the worlds are unable to describe Your wonders, the tongues are dumb to describe Your Praise and even if it praises You then understanding Your attributes silences it, and now it circles around it in amazement which You have established, as it is impossible for it to exceed Your limits, it is possible for him to praise in the limits of the boundary made by You and the tongues are the bounties bestowed by You.
اے میرے اللہ! تو نے دلوں کو اپنے ارادوں کے مطابق، اور عقلوں کو اپنی معرفت کے لئے پیدا کیا، اس لئے دل تیرے خوف سے تڑپ رہے ہیں، اور طبیعتیں تیری محبت میں بے چین ہیں، عقل کی بڑی سے بڑی حیثیتیں تیری حمد و ثنا میں کوتاہ اور لفظیں تیری خوبیوں کے لئے ناکارہ ہیں، اور زبانیں تیری نعمتوں کے شمار میں گنگ ہیں۔
فَاِذَا اَوْ لَجَتْ بِطُرْقِ الْبَحْثِ عَنْ نَعْتِكَ بَهَرَتْهَا حَیْرَۃُ الْعَجْزِ عَنْ اِدْرَاكِ وَصْفِكَ فَهِیَ تَتَرَدَّدُ فِی التَّقْصِیْرِ عَنْ مُجَاوَرَۃِ مَا حَدَدْتَ لَهَا اِذْ لَیْسَ لَهَا اَنْ تَتَجَا وَزَ مَا اَمَرْتَهَا فَهِیَ بِالْاِقْتِدَارِ عَلٰی مَا مَكَّنْتَهَا تَحْمَدُكَ بِمَا اَنْهَیْتَ اِلَیْهَا وَالْاَلْسُنُ مُنْبِسَطَۃٌ بِمَا تُمْلِیُٔ عَلَیْهَا وَلَكَ عَلٰی كُلِّ مَنِ اسْتَعْبَدْتَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ اَنْ لَا یَمِلُّوْا مِنْ حَمْدِكَ وَاِنْ قَصُرَتِ الْمُحَامِدُ عَنْ شُكْرِكَ۔
Faizaa aw lajat biturqi al-bahthi 'an na'tika baharathaa hayratu al-'ajzi 'an idraaki wasfika fahiya tataraddadu fee at-taqseeri 'an mujaawarati maa hadadta lahaa iz laysa lahaa an tatajaa waza maa amartahaa fahiya bil-iqtidaari 'alaa maa makkantahaa tahmaduka bimaa anhayta ilayhaa wal-alsunu munbisatatun bimaa tumliy 'alayhaa walaka 'alaa kulli mani asta'badta min khalqika an laa yamilloo min hamdika wain qasurati al-muhaamidu 'an shukrika. auto
O Allah! You have a right upon all Your creatures whom You have created and they should not act niggardly and if this thanks giving is lesser than Your bounties then this praiseworthy one praises his strength and power, and he who is lazy depends on Your hopes, and those who fear You are accepting Your lordship. The seekers come near to You with hopes. Those who oblige are searching Your grace and all of them are busy in the shade of Your mercy and forgiveness.
اور اگر کبھی تیری مدح کی راہوں میں داخل بھی ہو جاتی ہے تو تیرے اوصاف سمجھنے کی حیرتیں اسے مبہوت کر دیتی ہیں۔ اب وہ اپنی کوتاہیوں میں ان حدوں میں چکر لگاتی رہتی ہے جو تونے اس کے لئے گھیر دی ہیں، کیونکہ اس کے لئے ناممکن ہے کہ تیرے حکم سے آگے بڑھ سکے، اس سے تو اتنا ہی ممکن ہے جو تونے اس کے امکان میں دیا ہے، اور جو کچھ اس تک تونے پہنچایا اس پر وہ ثناگستر و حمد سرا ہے، اور زبانیں تیری عطا کردہ نعمتوں سے گویا ہیں۔
بِمَا اَسْدَیْتَ اِلَیْهَا مِنْ نِعَمِكَ فَحَمِدَكَ بِمَبْلَغِ طَاقَۃِ جُهْدِهِمُ الْحَامِدُوْنَ وَاعْتَصَمَ بِرَجَاۗئِ عَفْوِكَ اَلْمُقَصِّرُوْنَ وَاَوْجَسَ بِالرُّبُوْبِیَّۃِ لَكَ الْخَاۗئِفُوْنَ وَقَصَدَ بِالرَّغْبَۃِ اِلَیْكَ الطَّالِبُوْنَ وَانتَسَبَ اِلٰی فَضْلِكَ الْمُحْسِنُوْنَ وَكُلٌّ یَتَفَیَّأُ فِیْ ظِلَالِ تَامِیْلِ عَفْوِكَ وَیَتَضَاۗلَّ بِالذُّلِّ لِخَوْفِكَ وَیَعْتَرِفُ بِالتَّقْصِیْرِ فِیْ شُكْرِكَ فَلَمْ یَمْنَعْكَ صُدُوْفُ مَنْ صَدَفَ عَنْ طَاعَتِكَ۔
Bimaa asdayta ilayhaa min ni'amika fahamidaka bimablaghi taaqati juhdihimu al-haamidoona wa'tasama birajaa'i 'afwika al-muqassiroona waawjasa bir-ruboobiyyati laka al-khaa'ifoona waqasada bir-raghbati ilayka at-taaliboona waantasaba ilaa fadlika al-muhsinoona wakullun yatafayya'u fee zilaali taameeli 'afwika wayatadaalla biz-zulli likhawfika waya'tarifu bit-taqseeri fee shukrika falam yamna'ka sudoofu man sadafa 'an taa'atika. auto
Due to Your fear, degradation has weakened them, they confess of not being thankful to Your bounties. Those who were disobedient and did not follow Your commands their deeds did not stop You from increasing their cattle, give them their full measure and make sorrow away from them, and make them afraid of Your chastisement. Or he who does goodness You increase his reward. Those who oblige You have made incumbent upon them thankfulness by Your grace and also on evil doers thankfulness is made obligatory.
معبود! تیرا اس مخلوق میں ہر اس شخص پر حق ہے جسے تونے اپنا بندہ بنایا ہے کہ وہ تیری حمد سے دل تنگ نہ ہو، اور اگر اس کی شکر گذاریاں تیری نعمت نوازیوں سے کم ہیں تو معبود یہ تمام حمد سرا اپنی قوت و طاقت پر مدح کرتے ہیں، اور کوتاہیاں کرنے والے تیری معافیوں کی امید سے وابستہ ہیں، اوت تجھ سے ڈرنے والے تیری پرودگاری کا اقرار کر رہے ہیں، طلبگار تجھ سے کواہشیں وابستہ کئے آگے بڑھ رہے ہیں، احسان کرنے والے تیرے فضل و کرم سے نسبتیں تلاش کر رہے ہیں، اور یہ سب تیری بخشش کی امید واری کے سائے تلے آرام میں مصروف ہیں۔
وَلَا عُكُوْفُ عَكْفَ عَلٰی مَعْصِیَتِكَ اِنْ اَسْبَغْتَ عَلَیْهِمُ النِّعَمَ وَاَجْزَلْتَ لَهُمُ الْقِسَمَ وَصَرَفْتَ عَنْهُمُ النِّقَمَ وَخَوَّفْتَهُمْ عَوَاقِبَ النِّدَمِ وَضَا عَفْتَ لِمَنْ اَحْسَنَ وَاَوْجَبْتَ عَلَی الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ شُكْرَ تَوْفِیْقِكَ لِلْاِحْسَانِ وَعَلَی الْمُسِیْۗءِ شُكْرَ تَعَطُّفِكَ بِالْاِمْتِنَانِ وَ وَعَدْتَ مُحْسِنَهُمْ بِالزِّیَادَۃَ فِی الْاِحْسَانِ مِنْكَ فَسُبْحَانَكَ تُثِیْبُ عَلٰی مَا بَدَؤُهُ مِنْكَ وَانْتِسَابُهٗ اِلَیْكَ۔
Walaa 'ukoofu 'akfa 'alaa ma'siyatika in asbaghta 'alayhimu an-ni'ama waajzalta lahumu al-qisama wasarafta 'anhumu an-niqama wakhawwaftahum 'awaaqiba an-nidami wadaa 'afta liman ahsana waawjabta 'alaa al-muhsineena shukra tawfeeqika lil-ihsaani wa'alaa al-musee'i shukra ta'attufika bil-imtinaani wa wa'adta muhsinahum biz-ziyaadata fee al-ihsaani minka fasubhaanaka tutheebu 'alaa maa bada'uhu minka wantisaabuhoo ilayka. auto
You have promised these doers of good that Your obligation on them will be greater than their obligation. You are pure, You give reward for those things which are begun in Your name and end in Your name. I praise You to such an extent that it achieves Your happiness and like a person who by praising You reaches in Your presence and by it becomes eligible for Your bounties.
تیرے خوف کی وجہ سے ذلتوں نے انہیں کمزور کر دیا ہے، تیری شکر گذاری نہ کر سکنے کا اعتراف کر رہے ہیں۔ جو تیری اطاعت سے روگرداں، یا تیری نافرمانی کے پابند ہو گئے، ان کے عمل نے تجھے اس بات سے نہیں روکا کہ تو ان پر زیادہ سے زیادہ انعام فرمائے، ان کو پورے پورے حصّے دے، ان سے ناراضگی کو دور کر دے، انہیں ندامت کے خوف کے نتائج سے ڈرا دے، یا جو شخص اچھائی کرے اس کا ثواب بڑہا دے، تو نے احسان کرنے والوں پر اپنی توفیق احسان کا شکر واجب کیا ہے، اور بدکاروں پر احسانِ توجہ کا شکر فرض کیا ہے۔
وَالْقُوَّۃُ عَلَیْهِ بِكَ وَالْاِحْسَانُ فِیْهِ مِنْكَ وَالتَّوَكُّلُ فِی التَّوْفِیْقِ لَهٗ عَلَیْكَ فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدَ مَنْ عَلِمَ اَنَّ الْحَمْدَ لَكَ وَاَنَّ بَدْئَهٗ مِنْكَ وَمَعَادُهٗ اِلَیْكَ حَمْدًا لَا یَقْصُرُ عَنْ بُلُوْغِ الرِّضَا مِنْكَ حَمْدَ مَنْ قَصَدَكَ بِحَمْدِهٖ وَاسْتَحَقَّ الْمَزِیْدَ لَهٗ مِنْكَ فِیْ نِعَمِهٖ وَلَكَ مَؤَیِّدَاتٌ مِنْ عَوْنِكَ وَرَحْمَۃٌ تَخُصَّ بِهَا مَنْ اَحْبَبْتَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ فَصَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهٖ۔
Wal-quwwatu 'alayhi bika wal-ihsaanu feehi minka wat-tawakkulu fee at-tawfeeqi lahoo 'alayka falaka al-hamdu hamda man 'alima anna al-hamda laka waanna bad'ahoo minka wama'aaduhoo ilayka hamdan laa yaqsuru 'an bulooghi ar-ridaa minka hamda man qasadaka bihamdihee wastahaqqa al-mazeeda lahoo minka fee ni'amihee walaka ma'ayyidaatun min 'awnika warahmatun takhussa bihaa man ahbabta min khalqika fasalli 'alaa muhammadin waaalihee. auto
My Lord there is a special support and specific bounties for Your beloved people, so send blessings on Mohammad (s.a.w.a) and his Progeny (a.s) and grace us with Your special support and specific bounties which are present at the time of calamities, a protector at the time of loses, and deliverance from destruction and an excellent guide to show the right path.
ان محسنوں سے وعدہ فرمایا ہے کہ ان سے زیادہ احسان فرمائے گا۔ تو پاک ہے! تو ان باتوں پر ثواب دیتا ہے جو تجھی سے شروع ہوئی ہیں، اور تیری ہی ذات پر ختم ہوتی ہیں، ایسی حمد کرتا ہوں جو تیری خوشنودی تک پہنچنے میں کوتا نہ رہے اس شخص کی سی مدح جو حمد سرائی کے ذریعے تیری بارگاہ کا ارادہ کرے، اور تیری مزید نعمتوں کا حقدار ہو گیا ہو۔ معبود! تیرے قبضۂ قدرت میں کچھ ایسی سند اور کچھ ایسی رحمتیں ہیں جن سے تو اپنے محبوب بندوں کو مخصوص فرماتا ہے، اس لئے محمدؐ و آل محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما، اور ہمیں اپنی رحمت و تائیدات سے سرفراز فرما، جو آفتوں کے وقت موجد اد نقصانات میں بہت زیادہ محفوظ رکھنے والے اور ہلاکتوں میں زیادہ سے زیادہ نجات دینے والے اور ہدایتوں میں زیادہ سے زیادہ راہ راست بتانے والے ہوں۔
وَاخْصُصْنَا مِنْ رَحْمَتِكَ وَمُؤَیِّدَاتِ لُطْفِكَ اَوْجَبَهَا لِلْأِقَالَاتِ وَاَعْصَمَهَا مِنَ الْاِضَاعَاتِ وَاَنْجَاهَا مِنَ الْهَلَكَاتِ وَاَرْشَدَهَا اِلَی الْهِدَایَاتِ وَاَوْقَاهَا مِنَ الْآفَاتِ وَاَوْفَرَهَا مِنَ الْحَسَنَاتِ وَاۗثَرَهَا بِالْبَرَكَاتِ وَاَزْیَدَهَا فِی الْقِسَمِ وَأَسْبَغَهَا لِلنِّعَمِ وَاَسْتَرَهَا لِلْعُیُوْبِ وَاَسَرَّهَا لِلْعُیُوْبِ وَاَغْفَرَهَا لِلذُّنُوْبِ اِنَّكَ قَرِیْبٌ مُجِیْبٌ وَصَلِّ عَلٰی خِیَرَتِكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ وَصَفْوَتِكَ مِنْ بَرِیَّتِكَ وَاَمِیْنِكَ عَلٰی وَحْیِكَ۔
Wakhsusnaa min rahmatika wamu'ayyidaati lutfika awjabahaa lil-'iqaalaati waa'samahaa mina al-idaa'aati waanjaahaa mina allaahalakaati waarshadahaa ilaa allaahidaayaati waawqaahaa mina al-aafaati waawfarahaa mina al-hasanaati waatharahaa bil-barakaati waazyadahaa fee al-qisami wa'asbaghahaa lin-ni'ami waastarahaa lil-'uyoobi waasarrahaa lil-'uyoobi waaghfarahaa liz-zunoobi innaka qareebun mujeebun wasalli 'alaa khiyaratika min khalqika wasafwatika min bariyyatika waameenika 'alaa wahyika. auto
O the one who saves at the time of calamities, and the one to multiply good deeds. O the one to increase the destinies and the one to perfect the bounties, O the one to conceal the defects and to cover one's faults grant me the grace and to seek more forgiveness for the sins because You are too near and the one to accept our supplications. And send blessings on Your appointed and beloved creation and give excessive bounties to the recipient of Your revelations.
آفتوں میں بہت زیادہ بچانے والے اور نیکیوں کو زیادہ، برکتوں کو بکثرت، اور نصیبوؓ کو زیادہ کرنے والے، اور نعمتوں کو مکمل کرنے والے، عیبوں کو زیادہ چھپانے والے، رازِ غیب کے زیادہ پردہ دار اور گناہوں کو زیادہ بخشنے والی توفیقیں عطا فرما، کیونکہ تو بہت زیادہ نزدیک اور دعا قبول کرنے والا ہے۔
بِاَفْضَلِ الصَّلٰوۃِ وَبَارِكْ عَلَیْهِمْ بِاَفْضَلِ الْبَرَكَاتِ بِمَا بَلَّغَ عَنْكَ مِنَ الرِّسَالَاتِ وَصَدَعَ بِاَمْرِكَ وَدَعَا اِلَیْكَ وَاَفْصَحَ بِالدَّلَاۗئِلِ عَلَیْكَ بِالْحَقِّ الْمُبِیْنِ حَتّٰی اَتَاهُ الْیَقِیْنُ وَصَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْهِ فِی الْاَوَّلِیْنَ وَصَلَّی اللهُ عَلَیْهِ فِی الْآخِرِیْنَ وَعَلٰی آلِهٖ وَاَهْلِبَیْتِهِ الطَّاهِرِیْنَ وَاخْلُفْهُمْ فِیْهِمْ بِاَحْسَنِ مَا خَلَقْتَ بِهٖ اَحَدًا مِّنَ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ بِكَ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ۔
Biafdali as-salaati wabaarik 'alayhim biafdali al-barakaati bimaa ballagha 'anka mina ar-risaalaati wasada'a biamrika wada'aa ilayka waafsaha bid-dalaa'ili 'alayka bil-haqqi al-mubeeni hattaa ataahu al-yaqeenu wasallaa allaahu 'alayhi fee al-awwaleena wasallaa allaahu 'alayhi fee al-aakhireena wa'alaa aalihee waahlibaytihi at-taahireena wakhlufhum feehim biahsani maa khalaqta bihee ahadan mina al-mursaleena bika yaa arhama ar-raahimeena. auto
Send on them Your best of the bounties as they have propagated Your message, explained Your laws clearly, called the people to Your path, and with living examples have established proof of Your existence till the time they acquired certainty. O Allah send blessings on Mohammad (s.a.w.a) and his Progeny (a.s) and in the end also send mercy on the pure progeny and reserve for them those bounties which You have selected for Your special Prophets and have given anyone of them, O the most merciful of all the merciful.
اور رحمت نازل فرما اپنی مخلوق میں منتخب اور دنیا میں پسندیدہ، تیری وحی کے امانت دار کو بہترین رحمت سے سرفراز فرما، ان پر بہتر سے بہتر برکت نازل کر، کہ انہوں نے تیرے پیغام پہنچائے، تیرے حکم کو اچھے طریقے سے بیان فرمایا، تیری طرف بلایا اور روشن حقّانیت کے ساتھ تیرے لئے نورانی دلیلیں قائم کیں، یہاں تک کہ ان کو یقین حاصل ہو گیا۔ خدایا! آنحضرؐ پر اوّلین میں رحمت کرے اور آخرین میں رحمت نازل فرمائے، اور ان کے پاک و پاکیزہ اہلبیتؑ پر نھی، ان کے لئے وہ نتائج مخصوص فرما جو تونے اپنی مخلوق کے رسولوں میں سے کسی ایک رسول کو عطا کئے ہوں، اے رحم کرنے والوں میں سب سے بڑے رحم کرنے والے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَلَكَ اِرَادَاتٌ لَا تُعَارَضُ دُوْنَ بُلُوْغِهَا الْغَایَاتُ قَدِ انَقَطَعَ مُعَارَضَتُهَا بِعَجْزِ الْاِسْتِطَاعِاتِ عَنِ الرَّدِّ لَهَا دُوْنَ النِّهَایَاتِ فَاَیَّةُ اِرَادَۃٍ جَعَلْتُهَا اِرَادَۃً لِعَفْوِكَ وَسَبَبًا لِنَیْلِ فَضْلِكَ وَاِسْتِنْزَالًا لِخَیْرِكَ فَصَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاَهْلِ بَیْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَصِلْهَا اَللّٰهُمَّ بِدَوَامٍ وَاَیِّدْهَا بِتَمَامٍ اِنَّكَ وَاسِعُ الْحَبَاۗئِ كَرِیْمُ الْعَطَاۗئِ مُجِیْبُ النِّدَاۗئِ سَمِیْعُ الدُّعَاۗئِ۔
Allaahumma walaka iraadaatun laa tu'aaradu doona bulooghihaa al-ghaayaatu qadi anaqata'a mu'aaradatuhaa bi'ajzi al-istitaa'iti 'ani ar-raddi lahaa doona an-nihaayaati faayyatu iraadatin ja'altuhaa iraadatan li'afwika wasababan linayli fadlika waistinzaalan likhayrika fasalli 'alaa muhammadin waahli bayti muhammadin wasilhaa allaahumma bidawaamin waayyidhaa bitamaamin innaka waasi'u al-habaa'i kareemu al-'ataa'i mujeebu an-nidaa'i samee'u ad-du'aa'i. auto
O Allah! It is only Your wishes, whom no one can stop from fulfillment, the destructions have accepted defeat in causing hurdles in Your wishes reaching perfection. Thus by Your wishes and by Your grace send blessings on Mohammad (s.a.w.a) and his Progeny (a.s) and make these wishes reach perfection and climax as You are the possessor of vast mercy and the forgiver, the acceptor of supplications and the recipient of requests.
بار الہا! تیرے ہی وہ ارادے ہیں جنہیں منزل انتہاء تک پہنچنے میں کوئی روک نہیں سکتا، رکاوٹیں اختیارات کی عاجزی سے ناکام ہو گئے ہیں کہ تیرے ارادوں کی انتہا تک پہنچا نے سے واپس کر سکیں۔ لہذا جو ارادہ میں تیری معافی کا ارادہ بناؤں اور تیرے فضل کے حاصل کرنے کا ذریعہ تیری نیکیوں کو اتارنے کا واسطہ۔ خدایا! محمدؐ و آلِ محمدؑ پر رحمت فرما، تو خدایا! ان ارادو کو دائمی طور سے منزلِ رساں بنا دے اور کمال کے لئے تائید عطا فرما، کیونکہ تو ہی وسیع کرم کرنے والا، عطیے بخش نے والا، دعائیں قبول کرنے والا، درخواستیں منظور فرمانے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
