زیارت سرداب-۲
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ۔ لَا لِاَمْرِهٖ تَعْقِلُوْنَ وَلَا مِنْ اَوْلِيَائِهٖ تَقْبَلُوَنْ حِكْمَةٌ بَالِغَةٌ فَمَا تُغْنِي النُّذُرُ عَنْ قَوْمٍ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلٰى عِبَادِ اللهِ الصَّالِحِيْنَ۔
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem laa le-amre-hi ta’qe-loona wa laa man awleyaa-e-hi taq-balo-wan hikma-toon baale-gha-toon fa-maa tugh-nin nozo-ro a’n qawmin laa yoome-noona.
As-salaamo a’laina wa a’laa e’baa-dillaa-his saale-heena.
In the Name of Allah; the All-beneficent, the All-merciful. You neither understand His decree nor accept from His Vicegerents. (This is) consummate wisdom; but warnings do not avail people who do not believe. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. When you intend to turn your faces towards Allah and towards us by means of us, you should say just as Allah the All-exalted has said:
خدا کے نام سے شروع جو بڑا مہربان رحم والا ہے نہ وہ اس کے فعل پر غور کرتے ہیں اور نہ اس کے دوستوں کی بتائی ہوئی دانائی کی باتیں قبول کرتے ہیں تو کیا ڈرانے والے کافی نہیں ہیں سلام ہو ہم پر اور خدا کے نیک بندوں پر۔
سَلَامٌ عَلٰى آلِ يٰس۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا دَاعِيَ اللهِ وَرَبَّانِيَّ آيَاتِهٖ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَابَ اللهِ وَدَيَّانَ دِيْنِهٖ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَلِيْفَةَ اللهِ وَنَاصِرَ حَقِّهٖ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللهِ وَدَلِيْلَ اِرَادَتِهٖ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا تَالِيَ كِتَابِ اللهِ وَتَرْجُمَانَهٗ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ فِيْ آنَاءِ لَيْلِكَ وَاَطْرَافِ نَهَارِكَ۔
Salaamun a’laa aale yaaseen assalaamo a’layka yaa daa-e’yal laahe wa rabbaaniyya aayaatehi assalaamo a’layka yaa baabal laahe wa dayyaana deenehi assalaamo a’layka yaa khaleefatal laahe wa naasera haqqehi assalaamo a’layka yaa hujjatal laahe wa daleela eraadatehi assalaamo a’layka yaa taaleya ketaabil laahe wa tarjomaanehi assalaamo a’layka fee aanaaa-e layleka wa atraafe nahaareka.

Peace be upon you, O caller to Allah and interpreter of His Verses. Peace be upon you, O door to Allah and applier of His religion. Peace be upon you, O viceroy of Allah and backer of His right. Peace be upon you, O Argument of Allah and sign of His volition. Peace be upon you, O reciter of the Book of Allah and its interpreter. Peace be upon you at the hours of Your night and the two ends of Your day.
سلام ہو اولاد پیغمبرؐ پر آپ پر سلام ہو اے خدا کے داعی اور اس کے کلام کے نگہبان! سلام ہوآپ پر اے خدا کے باب اور اس کے دین کی حفاظت کرنے والے آپ پر سلام ہو اے خدا کے نائب اور حق کے مددگار آپ پر سلام ہو اے خدا کی حجت اور اس کے ارادے کے مظہر سلام ہو آپ پراے قرآن کے قاری اور اس کی تشریح کرنے والے آپ پر سلام ہو رات کے اوقات میں اور دن کی ہر گھڑی میں۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَقِيَّةَ اللهِ فِيْ اَرْضِهٖ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مِيْثَاقَ اللهِ الَّذِيْ اَخَذَهٗ وَ وَكَّدَهٗ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَعْدَ اللهِ الَّذِيْ ضَمِنَهٗ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْعَلَمُ الْمَنْصُوْبُ وَالْعِلْمُ الْمَصْبُوْبُ وَالْغَوْثُ وَالرَّحْمَةُ الْوَاسِعَةُ وَعْدًا غَيْرَ مَكْذُوْبٍ۔
Assalaamo a’layka yaa baqiyyatal laahe fee arzehi assalaamo a’layka yaa meesaaqal laahil lazee akhazahu wa wakkadahu assalaamo a’layka yaa wa’dal laahil lazee zamenahu assalaamo a’layka ayyohal a’lamul mansoobo wal i’lmul masboobo wal ghawso war-rahmatul waase-a’to wa’dan ghayra makzoobin.
Peace be upon you, O herald of Allah on His lands. Peace be upon you, O covenant of Allah that He has made and confirmed. Peace be upon you, O Promise of Allah that He has assured. Peace be upon you, O appointed pennon, poured knowledge, aid, and expansive mercy. This is verily a promise that shall never be belied.
آپ پر سلام ہو اے خدا کی زمین میں اس کے نمائندے آپ پر سلام ہو اے خدا کے وہ عہد جو اس نے باندھا اور پکا کیا آپ پر سلام ہو اے خدا کے وعدہ جس کا وہ ضامن ہے۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تَقُوْمُ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تَقْعُدُ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تَقْرَاُ وَتُبَيِّنُ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تُصَلِّيْ وَتَقْنُتُ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تَرْكَعُ وَتَسْجُدُ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تُهَلِّلُ وَتُكَبِّرُ۔
Assalaamo a’layka heena taqoomo assalaamo a’layka heena taq-o’do assalaamo a’layka heena taqra-o wa tobayyeno assalaamo a’layka heena tosallee wa taqnoto assalaamo a’layka heena tar-ka-o’ wa tasjodo assalaamo a’layka heena tohallelo wa tokabbero.
Peace be upon you whenever you rise (to undertake the mission). Peace be upon you whenever you sit. Peace be upon you whenever you recite and elucidate. Peace be upon you whenever you offer prayer and supplicate. Peace be upon you whenever you genuflect and prostrate (yourself for Allah). Peace be upon you whenever you profess Allah’s Godhead and profess His All-greatness.
آپ پر سلام ہو کہ آپ گاڑا ہوا علم ہیں، سپرد شدہ علم ودانش، فریادرس کشادہ تر رحمت اور وہ وعدہ ہیں جو جھوٹا نہیں آپ پر سلام ہوجب آپ قیام کریں گے آپ پر سلام ہو جب منتظربیٹھے ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو جب آپ قرآن پڑھیں اور تفسیر کریں۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تَحْمَدُ وَتَسْتَغْفِرُ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ حِيْنَ تُصْبِحُ وَتُمْسِيْ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ فِي اللَّيْلِ اِذَا يَغْشٰى وَالنَّهَارِ اِذَا تَجَلّٰى۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْاِمَامُ الْمَأْمُوْنُ۔ اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ اَيُّهَا الْمُقَدَّمُ الْمَأْمُوْلُ۔
Assalaamo a’layka heena tahmado wa tastagh-fero assalaamo a’layka heena tusbeho wa tumsee assalaamo a’layka fil layle ezaa yagh-shaa wan nahaare ezaa tajallaa assalaamo a’layka ayyohal emaamul maamoono assalaamo a’layka ayyohal moqaddamul maamoolo.
Peace be upon you whenever you praise Allah and implore for His forgiveness. Peace be upon you whenever you begin and end your day. Peace be upon you in the night when it draws a veil and the day when it shines in brightness. Peace be upon you, O entrusted leader. Peace be upon you, O favored and expected.
آپ پر سلام ہو جب آپ نماز اداکریں اور قنوت پڑھیں آپ پر سلام ہو جب آپ رکوع اور سجدہ کرتے ہیں آپ پر سلام ہوجب آپ ذکرِ الہٰی کریں آپ پر سلام ہوجب حمد و استغفار کریں آپ پر سلام ہوجب آپ صبح اور شام کریں اورتسبیح بجا لائیں آپ پر سلام ہو رات میں جب وہ چھا جائے اور دن میں جب روشن ہو جائے آپ پر سلام ہو اے محفوظ امام آپ پر سلام ہو جس کے آنے کی آرزو ہے۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ بِجَوَامِعِ السَّلَامِ اُشْهِدُكَ يَا مَوْلَايَ اَنِّيْ۔ اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ وَاَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهٗ وَرَسُوْلُهٗ لَا حَبِيْبَ اِلَّا هُوَ وَاَهْلُهٗ وَاُشْهِدُكَ يَا مَوْلَايَ اَنَّ عَلِيًّا اَمِيْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ حُجَّتُهٗ وَالْحَسَنَ حُجَّتُهٗ وَالْحُسَيْنَ حُجَّتُهٗ۔
Assalaamo a’layka be-jawaame-i’s salaame ush-hedoka yaa mawlaaya annee ash-hado an laa elaaha illal laaho wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa anna mohammadan a’bdohu wa rasoolohu laa habeeba illaa howa wa ahlohu wa ush-hedoka yaa mawlaaya anna a’liyyan ameeral momeneena hujjatohu wal hasana hujjatohu wal husayna hujjatohu.
Peace be upon you to the ultimate meaning of peace. I solicit you, O my master, to testify to me that I bear witness that there is no god but Allah; One and Only Lord and having no associate, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. There is no one more beloved by Allah than him and his household. And I solicit you, O my master, to testify to me that I bear witness that Ali the Commander of the Faithful is His argument, Hasan is His argument, Husain is His argument.
آپ پر سلام ہو ہر طبقے کی طرف سے سلام، میں آپ کوگواہ قرار دیتا ہوں اے میرے آقا اور گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں وہ یگانہ ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں اور یہ کہ حضرت محمدؐ اس کے بندے اوررسولؐ ہیں سوائے ان کے کوئی حبیب نہیں اور ان کے اہل بیتؑ کے آپ کو گواہ بناتا ہوں اے میرے آقا اس پر کہ علی ؑامیر المؤمنین اور اس کی حجت ہیں حسنؑ اس کی حجت ہیں حسینؑ اس کی حجت ہیں۔
وَعَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ حُجَّتُهٗ وَمُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ حُجَّتُهٗ وَجَعْفَرَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ حُجَّتُهٗ وَمُوْسَى بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ حُجَّتُهٗ وَعَلِيَّ بْنَ مُوْسٰى حُجَّتُهٗ وَمُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ حُجَّتُهٗ وَعَلِيَّ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ حُجَّتُهٗ وَالْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ حُجَّتُهٗ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ حُجَّةُ اللهِ۔
Wa a’liyyabnal husayne hujjatohu wa mohammadabna a’liyyin hujjatohu wa ja’farabna mohammadin hujjatohu wa moosabna ja’farin hujjatohu wa a’liyyibna moosaa hujjatohu wa mohammadabna a’liyyin hujjatohu wa a’liyyabna mohammadin hujjatohu wal hasanabna a’liyyin hujjatohu wa ash-hado annaka hujjatul laahe.
Ali the son of Husain is His argument, Muhammad the son of Ali is His argument, Ja`far the son of Muhammad is His argument, Moosa the son of Ja`far is His argument, Ali the son of Moosa is His argument, Muhammad the son of Ali is His argument, Ali the son of Muhammad is His argument, and Hasan the son of Ali is His argument. I also bear witness that you are verily the argument of Allah.
اور علیؑ ابن الحسینؑ اس کی حجت اور محمدؑ ابن علیؑ اس کی حجت ہیں اور جعفرؑ ابن محمدؑ اس کی حجت ہیں موسیٰؑ ابن جعفرؑ اس کی حجت ہیں علیؑ ابن موسیٰؑ اس کی حجت ہیں محمدؑ ابن علیؑ اس کی حجت ہیں علیؑ ابن محمدؑ اس کی حجت ہیں حسنؑ ابن علیؑ اس کی حجت ہیں اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپؑ خدا کی حجت ہیں۔
اَنْتُمُ الْاَوَّلُ وَالْآخِرُ وَاَنَّ رَجْعَتَكُمْ حَقٌّ لَا رَيْبَ فِيْهَا يَوْمَ لَا يَنْفَعُ نَفْسًا اِيْمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ اَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِيْ اِيْمَانِهَا خَيْرًا وَاَنَّ الْمَوْتَ حَقٌّ وَاَنَّ نَاكِرًا وَنَكِيْرًا حَقٌّ۔
Antomul awwalo wal aakhero wa anna raj-a’takum haqqun laa rayba feehaa yawma laa yanfa-o’ nafsan eemaanohaa lam takun aamanat min qablo aw kasabat fee eemaanehaa khayran wa annal mawta haqqun wa anna naakeran wa nakeeran haqqun.
You all are the first and the last. And (I bear witness) that your (promised) Return is undoubtedly true “On the day when its belief avails not a soul which theretofore believed not, nor in its belief earned good by works,” death is true, and Munkir and Nakir are true.
آپؑ ہی ہیں اول و آخر اور آپؑ کی رجعت حق ہے اس میں کوئی شک نہیں اس دن ایمان لانا کچھ نفع نہ دے گا جو اس سےپہلے ایمان نہ لایا ہوگا یا ایمان کے تحت نیکی کے کام نہ کیے ہوں اور یقینًا موت حق ہے منکر و نکیر حق ہیں۔
وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ النَّشْرَ حَقٌّ وَالْبَعْثَ حَقٌّ وَاَنَّ الصِّرَاطَ حَقٌّ وَالْمِرْصَادَ حَقٌّ وَالْمِيْزَانَ حَقٌّ وَالْحَشْرَ حَقٌّ وَالْحِسَابَ حَقٌّ وَالْجَنَّةَ وَالنَّارَ حَقٌّ وَالْوَعْدَ وَالْوَعِيْدَ بِهِمَا حَقٌّ يَا مَوْلَايَ شَقِيَ مَنْ خَالَفَكُمْ وَسَعِدَ مَنْ اَطَاعَكُمْ۔
Wa ash-hado annan nashra haqqun wal ba’sa haqqun wa annas seraata haqqun wal mirsaada haqqun wal meezaana haqqun wal hashra haqqun wal hesaaba haqqun wal jannata haqqun wan naara haqqun wal wa’da wal wa-e’eda behemaa haqqun yaa mawlaaya sha-qeya man khaalafakum wa sa-e’da man a-taa-a’kum.
And I bear witness that the Raising for death is true, the Resurrection is true, the Discriminating Bridge is true, the Watchtower is true, the Balance (of deeds) is true, the Gathering is true, the Reckoning is true, Paradise and Hell are true, and the promise of Paradise and the threat with Hell are true. O My master! Certainly wretched is he who opposes you and certainly happy is he who obeys you.
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ قبر سے باہر آنا حق اور مردوں کا اٹھنا حق ہے، بے شک صراط سے گزرنا حق، نگرانی ہونا حق اور اعمال کا تولا جانا حق ہے، حشر حق ہے، حساب کتاب حق ہے جنت و جہنم حق ہے ان کے بارے میں وعدہ اور وعید حق ہے اے میرے سردار آپؑ کا مخالف بد بخت ہے اور آپؑ کا پیروکار نیک بخت ہے پس میں گواہی دیتا ہوں اس کی جس کی آپ نے گواہی دی میں آپؑ کا محب اور آپؑ کے دشمن سے بیزار ہوں پس حق وہ ہے جسے آپؑ پسند کریں او رباطل وہ ہے جس سے آپؑ ناخوش ہوں۔
فَاشْهَدْ عَلٰى مَا اَشْهَدْتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَاَنَا وَلِيٌّ لَكَ بَرِيْءٌ مِنْ عَدُوِّكَ فَالْحَقُّ مَا رَضِيْتُمُوْهُ وَالْبَاطِلُ مَا اَسْخَطْتُمُوْهُ وَالْمَعْرُوْفُ مَا اَمَرْتُمْ بِهٖ وَالْمُنْكَرُ مَا نَهَيْتُمْ عَنْهُ فَنَفْسِيْ مُؤْمِنَةٌ بِاللهِ وَحْدَهٗ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهٗ وَبِرَسُوْلِهٖ وَبِاَمِيْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَبِكُمْ يَا مَوْلَايَ اَوَّلِكُمْ وَآخِرِكُمْ وَنُصْرَتِيْ مُعَدَّةٌ لَكُمْ وَمَوَدَّتِيْ خَالِصَةٌ لَكُمْ آمِيْنَ آمِيْنَ۔
Fash-had a’laa maa ash-hadtoka a’layhe wa anaa waliyyun laka baree-un min a’duwwekum fal haqqo maa razeetomooho wal baatelo maa askhat-tomooho wal ma’roofo maa amartum behi wal munkaro maa nahaytum a’nho fa nafsee moa-menatan billaahe wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa be rasoolehi wa be ameeril momeneena wa bekum yaa mawlaaya awwalekum wa aakherekum wa nusratee mo-a’ddatan lakum wa mawaddee khaalesatan lakum aameena aameena.
So, testify to me all that which I have besought you to testify. I am verily an ally of you and denouncing your enemy. The truth is only that which you accept, the wrong is only that which you disallow, the good is only that which you enjoin, and the evil is only that which you forbid. My soul is thus believing in Allah; One and Only Lord and having no associate, and also in His Messenger, in the Commander of the Faithful, and in you all, O my master, from the beginning to the end. I have prepared myself to back you and my love is sincerely dedicated to you. Respond! Respond!
نیکی وہ ہے جس کا آپؑ حکم دیں اور برائی وہ ہے جس سے آپؑ منع کریں پس میرا دل ایمان رکھتا ہے خدا پر جو یگانہ ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں ہے اور اس کے رسولؐ پر اورامیر المومنینؑ پر اور آپؑ پر اے میرے آقا ایمان رکھتا ہوں اسی طرح آپؑ کے پہلے اورآخری پر اور میری نصرت آپؑ کے لئے حاضر ہے میری دوستی آپؑ کے لئے خالص ہے قبول فرما، قبول فرما۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
