Farewell Ziyarat
زیارتِ وداع
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ۔ اَسْتَوْدِعُكَ اللہَ وَاَسْتَرْعِیْكَ وَاَقْرَءُ عَلَیْكَ السَّلَامَ اٰمَنَّا بِاللہِ وَبِالرُّسُلِ وَبِمَا جَآئَتْ بِهٖ وَدَعَتْ اِلَیْهِ وَدَلَّتْ عَلَیْهِ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِیْنَ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تَجْعَلْهُ اٰخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنْ زِیَارَتِیْ اِیَّاهُ فَاِنْ تَوَفَّیْتَنِیْ قَبْلَ ذٰلِكَ فَاِنِّیْ اَشْهَدُ فِیْ مَمَاتِیْ عَلٰی مَا شَهِدْتُ عَلَیْهِ فِیْ حَیٰوتِیْ۔
As-salaamo a’laika wa rahmatul laahe wa barakaatohu astawde-o’kal laaha wa astar-e’eka wa aqra-o a’laikas salaamo aamannaa bil laahe wa birrosole wa bemaa jaaa-at behi wa da-a’t elayhe wa dallat a’laihe faktubnaa ma-a’sh shaahedeena allaahumma laa taj-a’lho aakheral a’hde min zeyaaratee iyyaaho fa-in tawaffaytanee qabla zaaleka fa-innee ash-hado fee mamaatee a’laa maa shahidto a’laihe fee hayaatee.
Peace and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you. I entrust you with Allah and ask Him to keep you under His custody and to send blessings upon you. We believe in Allah, in the Messengers, and in what they have conveyed to us, in that to which they have called, and in that to which they have guided. So, (please, our Lord,) include us with the witnesses. O Allah, (please) do not decide this visit of mine to him (ie. the Imam) to be the last, and if you cause me to die before that, then I bear witness in my death to the same things to which I have born witness in my lifetime.
آپ پر سلام ہو اور خدا کی رحمت ہو اور برکتیں،میں آپ کو خدا کے سپرد کرتا ہوں آپ کی توجہ چاہتا ہوں اور آپ کو سلام عرض کرتا ہوں، ہم ایمان رکھتے ہیں اللہ پر رسولوں پر اور جو پیغام وہ لائے جس کی طرف دعوت دی اور جس کی طرف رہبری کی پس ہمارا نام گواہی دینے والوں میں لکھ دے اے اللہ! اس زیارت کو میری ان کی آخری زیارت قرار نہ دے پس اگر میں اس کے پہلےمر جاؤں توبے شک میری موت کے بعدوہی گواہی ہوگی جو گواہی میں زندگی میں دے رہا ہوں۔
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّ اَمِیْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ عَلِیًّا وَالْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَیْنَ وَعَلِیَّ بْنَ الْحُسَیْنِ وَمُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِیٍّ وَجَعْفَرَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَمُوْسَی بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ وَعَلِیَّ بْنَ مُوْسٰی وَمُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِیٍّ وَعَلِیَّ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ وَالْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِیٍّ وَالْحُجَّۃَ بْنَ الْحَسَنِ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَیْهِمْ اَجْمَعِیْنَ اَئِمَّتِیْ۔
Ash-hado anna ameeral momeneena a’liyyan wal hasana wal husayna wa a’liyyabnal husayne wa mohammadabna a’liyyin wa ja’-farabna mohammadin wa moosabna ja’-farin wa a’liyyabna moosa wa mohammadabna a’liyyin wa a’liyyabna mohammadin wal hasanabna a’liyyin wal hujjatabnal hasane salawaatoka a’layhim ajma-e’ena a-immatee.
I bear witness that Ali the Commander of the Faithful, and Hasan, Husain, Ali ibn Husain, Muhammad ibn Ali, Ja`far ibn Muhammad, Musa ibn Ja`far, Ali ibn Musa, Muhammad ibn Ali, Ali ibn Muhammad, Hasan ibn Ali, and al-Hujjah (the Argument of Allah) ibn Hasan, may Your blessings be upon all of them, are my Imams.
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ مؤمنوں کے امیر علیؑ، حسنؑ حسینؑ علی ابن الحسینؑ، محمدؑ ابن علیؑ، جعفرؑ ابن محمدؑ، موسیٰؑ ابن جعفرؑ، علیؑ ابن موسیٰؑ، محمدؑ ابن علیؑ، علیؑ ابن محمدؑ، حسنؑ ابن علیؑ، اور حجت ابن الحسنؑ ان سب پر تیری رحمت ہو میرے امام ہیں۔
وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مَنْ قَتَلَهُمْ وَحَارَبَهُمْ مُشْرِكُوْنَ وَمَنْ رَدَّ عَلَیْهِمْ فِیْ اَسْفَلِ دَرَكٍ مِنَ الْجَحِیْمِ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنَّ مَنْ حَارَبَهُمْ لَنَا اَعْدَآءٌ وَنَحْنُ مِنْهُمْ بُرَآؤُ وَاَنَّهُمْ حِزْبُ الشَّیْطَانِ وَعَلٰی مَنْ قَتَلَهُمْ لَعْنَۃُ اللہِ وَالْمَلآئِكَۃِ وَالنَّاسِ اَجْمَعِیْنَ وَمَنْ شَرِكَ فِیْهِمْ وَمَنْ سَرَّهٗ قَتْلُهُمْ۔
Wa ash-hado anna man qatalahum wa haarabahum mushrekoon wa man radda a’layhim fee asfale darakim menal jaheeme wa ash-hado anna man haarabahum lanaa aa’-daaa-un wa nahno minhum bora-aaa-o wa annahum hizbush shaytaane wa a’laa man qatalahum la’-natul laahe wal malaaa-ekate wan naase ajma-e’ena wa man shareka feehim wa man sharrahu qatlohum.
I also bear witness that all of those who have slain and fought against them are polytheists and that all of those who reject them shall be in the lowest class of Hellfire. I also bear witness that those who have fought against the Imams are our enemies and we disavow them, because they are indeed the party of Satan. The curse of Allah, His angels and all the peoples be upon those who killed the Imams, and upon those who had any role in killing them and those who were pleased for their having been killed.
اور میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ ان سے جنگ کرنے اور انہیں قتل کرنے والے مشرک ہیں جنہوں نے ان کے حکم کو رد کیا وہ جہنم کے سب سے نچلے طبقے میں ہوں گے اور گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ جو ان سے لڑے وہ ہمارے دشمن ہیں اور ہم ان سے بیزار ہیں کہ وہ شیطان کا گروہ ہیں اور جنہوں نے ائمہ ؑکو قتل کیا ان پر اللہ کی لعنت ہو اور تمام فرشتوں اور انسانوں کی اور ان پر بھی جو ان کے قتل میں شریک ہوئے اور اس پر خوش ہوئے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُكَ بَعْدَ الصَّلٰوۃِ وَالتَّسْلِیْمِ اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلِیٍّ وَفَاطِمَۃَ وَالْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَیْنِ وَعَلِیٍّ وَّمُحَمَّدٍ وَّجَعْفَرٍ وَّمُوْسٰی وَعَلِیٍّ وَّمُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلِیٍّ وَالْحَسَنِ وَالْحُجَّۃِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْهُ اٰخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنْ زِیَارَتِهٖ فَاِنْ جَعَلْتَهٗ فَاحْشُرْنِیْ مَعَ هٰؤُلَآءِ الْمُسَمَّیْنَ الْاَئِمَّۃِ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ وَذَلِّلْ قُلُوْبَنَا لَهُمْ بِالطَّاعَۃِ وَالْمُنَاصَحَۃِ وَالْمَحَبَّۃِ وَحُسْنِ الْمُوَازَرَۃِ وَالتَّسْلِیْمِ۔
Allaahumma innee as-aloka ba’-das salaate wat tasleeme an tosalleya a’laa mohammadin wa a’liyyin wa faatemata wal hasane wal husayne wa a’liyyin wa mohammadin wa ja’-farin wa moosaa wa a’liyyin wa mohammadin wa a’liyyin wal hasane wal hujjate wa laa taj-a’lho aakheral a’hde min zeyaaratehi fa-in ja-a’ltahu fah-shurnee ma-a’ haa-olaaa-il mosammeenal a-immate allaahumma wa zallil qoloobanaa lahum bit taa-a’te wal monaasahate wal mahabbate wa husnil mowaazarate wat tasleeme.
O Allah, as I begin with invoking Your peace and blessings upon them, I pray you to bless Muhammad, Ali, Fatima, Hasan, Husain, Ali, Muhammad, Ja`far, Musa, Ali, Muhammad, Ali, Hasan, and al-Hujjah, and not to decide this visit of me to his tomb to be the last, and if you decide so, then (please) include me with these Imams to whom I have referred. O Allah, (please) cause our hearts to be subservient to them by showing obedience to them, well-wishing, love for them, support, and submission.
اے اللہ! میں بعد از درود و سلام تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کہ رحمت نازل فرما محمدؐ، علیؑ، فاطمہ(س)، حسنؑ، حسینؑ، علیؑ، محمدؑ، جعفرؑ، موسیٰؑ، علیؑ، محمدؑ، علیؑ، حسنؑ، اور حجتؑ پر اور میری اس زیارت کوآخری زیارت قرار نہ دے پس اگر تو ایسا کرے تو مجھے ان کے ساتھ اٹھانا جن ائمہؑ کے نام لئے گئے اے معبود! ہمارے دلوں کو ان کی اطاعت کے لئے جھکادے نیز ان سے نصیحت حاصل کرنے محبت رکھنے ان کے ہاں حاضر ہونے اور حکم ماننے میں لگا دے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
