Allaahumma… Ta’bado
اَللّٰهُمَّ۔۔۔ تُعْبَدُ
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ سُبْحَانَكَ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ تُعْبَدُ بِتَوْفِيْقِكَ وَتُجْحَدُ بِخِذْلَانِكَ اَرَيْتَ عِبَرَكَ وَظَهَرَتْ غِيَرُكَ وَبَقِيَتْ آثَارُ الْمَاضِيْنَ عِظَةً لِلْبَاقِيْنَ وَالشَّهَوَاتُ غَالِبَةٌ وَاللَّذَّاتُ مُجَاذِبَةٌ نَعْتَرِضُ اَمْرَكَ وَنَهْيَكَ بِسُوْٓءِ الْاِخْتِيَارِ وَنَمِيْلُ عَنِ الرَّشَادِ وَنُنَافِرُ طُرُقَ السَّدَادِ فَلَوْ (فَاِنْ) عَجَّلْتَ لَا اِنْتَقَمْتَ (لَانْتَقَمْتَ) وَمَا ظَلَمْتَ وَلَكِنَّكَ تُمْهِلُ عَوْدًا عَلٰى يَدِكَ (بَدْئِكَ) بِالْاِحْسَانِ وَتُنْظِرُ تَعَمُّدًا لِلرَّافَةِ وَالْاِمْتِنَانِ فَكَمْ مِمَّنْ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِ وَمَكَّنْتَهٗ اَنْ يَتُوْبَ كُفْرَ الْحُوْبِ وَاَرْشَدْتَهُ الطَّرِيْقَ بَعْدَ اَنْ تَوَغَّلَ فِي الْمَضِيْقِ فَكَانَ ضَالًّا لَوْ لَا هِدَايَتُكَ وَكَانَ طَائِحًا حَتّٰى تَخَلَّصَتْهُ دَلَائِلُكَ وَكَمْ مِمَّنْ وَسَّعْتَ لَهٗ فَطَغٰى وَرَاخَيْتَ لَهٗ فَاسْتَشْرٰى فَاَخَذْتَهٗ اَخْذَةَ الْاِنْتِقَامِ وَجَذَذْتَهٗ جُذَاذَ الصِّرَامِ۔ اَللّٰهُمَّ فَاجْعَلْنِيْ فِيْ هٰذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ مِمَّنْ رَضِيْتَ عَمَلَهٗ وَغَفَرْتُ زَلَلهُ وَرَحِمْتَ غَفْلَتَهٗ وَاَخَذْتَ اِلٰى طَاعَتِكَ نَاصِيَتَهٗ وَجَعَلْتَ اِلٰى جَنَّتِكَ اَوْبَتَهٗ وَاِلٰى جِوَارِكَ رَجْعَتَهٗ وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهٖ وَسَلَّمَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔
Allaahumma subhaana-ka laa ilaaha illaa to’bado be-taufee-qeka wa tuj-hado be-khiz-laane-ka araiy-ta e’baraka wa zaha-rat gheya-roka wa baqeyat aasaa-rul maa zeena a’za-tan lil-baaqee-na wash-shaha-waato ghaale-batoon wal-lazzaa-to mojaaze-batoon na’tare-zo amra-ka wa nah-yaka be-sooo-il ikh-teyaa-re.
Wa nameelo a’nir ra-shaade wa nonaa-fero toro-qas sa-daade fa-law (fa-in) a’j-jalta laa inta-qamta (lan taqam-ta) wa maa zalam-ta wa lakin-naka tumhe-lo a’w-dan a’laa yade-ka (bad’e ka) bil eh-saane wa tun-zero ta-a’mmo-dan lirraa-fate wal-imte-naane fakam mimman an-a’m-ta a’laiy-he wa makkan-tahu an yatoo-ba kufral hoobe.
Wa arshad-tahut tareeqa ba’da an ta-wagh-ghala fil mazee-qe fa-kaana zaallan law laa hidaayato-ka wa kaana taa’e han hattaa ta-khalla-satho dalaa’e loka wa kam mimman was-sa’ta lahu fata-ghaa wa raa-khaiy-ta lahu fas-tash-raa fa-a-khaz-tahu akh-zatal inte-qaame wa jazaz-tahu jo-zaazas seraa-me.
Allaahumma faj-a’l-nee fee haaze-hil laiy-late mimman razee-ta a’ma-lahu wa ghafar-to zallal-laaho wa rahemate ghaf-latahu wa a-khaz-ta ilaa taa-a’te-ka naase-yata-hu wa ja-a’l-ta ilaa jannate-ka aw-bata-hu wa ilaa jawaare-ka raj-a’ta-ju wa sallal-laaho a’laa mohammadiw wa aale-hi wa sallama yaa ar-hamar raahe-meena.
O my God! There is no God but You: glory be to You. You are Worshipped by Your success You are denied for Your letting down, You have shown us the lessons, and Your changes have become apparent The remains of the past are left for those who remain to learn from. Lusts are powerful and carnal desires are attractive We use our bad free will to challenge Your Decrees and Prohibitions. We are blind towards good insight and have deviated from the Right Path, and evaded ways of righteousness Thus if You rush and take revenge, it would not be oppression However, You give us more time with Your Continued Kindness and wait to perfect Your Kindness and Grace How many people did You bestow Your Blessings upon and granted an opportunity to repent from the great sin? How many people did You direct to the Right Path after they were stuck in a bad situation? They would have been lost if You had not guided them, but it was Your clear reasons that saved them How many people did You bestow Your Blessings upon but they rebelled, and gave them more time, but they became stubborn, so You took revenge and destroyed them. O my God! Please establish me amongst those from whose deeds You are pleased on this night whose slippages You Forgive, and whose negligence You have Mercy upon, and whom You grab and lead towards obeying You and have placed his return near You in Paradise Please bestow blessings on the Prophet Muhammad and his Progeny and peace O the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.
اے اللہ! تو پاک ہے! تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ تیری توفیق سے تیری عبادت کی جاتی ہے، اور تیرے چھوڑ دینے (غفلت میں پڑ جانے) کی وجہ سے تیرا انکار کیا جاتا ہے۔ تو نے اپنی نشانیاں دکھا دیں، تیری قدرت کی تبدیلیاں ظاہر ہو گئیں، اور پچھلی قوموں کے آثار آنے والوں کے لیے سبق بن کر رہ گئے۔ مگر خواہشات غالب آ جاتی ہیں، اور لذتیں اپنی طرف کھینچتی ہیں۔ ہم اپنے غلط انتخاب کے ساتھ تیرے حکم اور تیری ممانعت میں خلل ڈالتے ہیں، ہدایت سے ہٹ جاتے ہیں، اور سیدھے راستوں سے دور بھاگتے ہیں۔ اگر تو جلد پکڑ لیتا تو یقیناً انتقام لے لیتا، اور تو بالکل ظلم نہ کرتا۔ لیکن تو مہلت دیتا ہے تاکہ اپنے احسان کی ابتدا دوبارہ کرے، نرمی اور فضل کے لیے وقت دیتا ہے۔ پس کتنے لوگ ایسے ہیں جن پر تو نے انعام کیا، انہیں موقع دیا، حتیٰ کہ وہ اپنی سنگین گمراہی سے توبہ کر کے واپس آئے۔ اور تو نے انہیں سیدھا راستہ دکھایا جب وہ تنگ گلیوں میں بہت دور تک بھٹک چکے تھے۔ وہ یقیناً گمراہ تھے اگر تیری ہدایت نہ ہوتی۔ اور وہ تباہی میں گرے ہوئے تھے یہاں تک کہ تیرے واضح دلائل نے انہیں بچا لیا۔ اور کتنے لوگ ایسے ہیں جنہیں تو نے وسعت دی تو وہ سرکش ہو گئے، انہیں ڈھیل دی تو وہ حد سے بڑھ گئے۔ پھر تو نے انہیں پکڑا ایسے جیسے بدلہ لینے والا پکڑتا ہے، اور انہیں بالکل ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیا جیسے مضبوط تلوار کسی شے کو کاٹ کر پراگندہ کر دے۔ اے اللہ! اس رات مجھے اُن لوگوں میں شامل کر جن کے عمل سے تو راضی ہو گیا، جن کی لغزشیں تو نے معاف کر دیں، جن کی غفلتوں پر رحم فرمایا، جن کی پیشانی (زندگی) کو تو نے اپنی اطاعت کی طرف موڑ دیا، اور جن کا ٹھکانہ اپنی جنت میں رکھا، اور جن کی واپسی اپنے قرب اور ہمسائیگی کی طرف فرمائی۔ اور اللہ رحمت نازل کرے محمدؐ اور ان کی آلؑ پر۔ اے سب رحم کرنے والوں سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے!
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
