Allahumma… Shahro-kal
اَللّٰھُمَّ۔۔۔ شَھْرُکَ
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ ھٰذَا شَھْرُکَ الَّذِیْ اَمَرْتَ فِیْہِ عِبَادَکَ بِاالدُّعَآئِ وَضَمِنْتَ لَھُمُ الْاِجَابَۃَ وَالرَّحْمَۃَ وَقُلْتَ وَاِذَا سَئْلَکَ عِبَادِیْ عَنِّیْ فَاِ نِّیْ قَرِیْبٌ اُجِیْبُ دَعْوَۃَ الدَّاعِ اِذَا دَعَآنِ فَادْعُوْکَ یَامُجِیْبَ دَعْوَۃِ الْمُضْطَرِّیْنَ وَیَا کَاشِفَ السُّوْٓئِ عَنِ الْمَکْرُوْبِیْنَ وَیَا جَاعِلَ اللَّیْلِ سَکَنًا وَّیَا مَنْ لَّایَمُوْتُ اِغْفِرْلِمَنْ یَّمُوْتُ قَدَّرْتَ وَخَلَقْتَ وَسَوَّیْتَ۔ فَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ اَطْعَمْتَ وَسَقَیْتَ وَاٰوَیْتَ وَرَزَقْتَ فَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ اَسْئَلُکَ اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فِی اللَّیْلِ اِذَا یَغْشٰی وَفِی النَّہَارِ اِذَاتَجَلّٰی وَفِی الْاٰخِرَۃِ وَالْاُوْلٰی وَاَنْ تَکْفِیْنِیْ مَا اَھَمَّنِیْ وَتَغْفِرَلِیْ اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ الْغَفُوْرُ الرَّحِیْمِ۔
Allaahumma haazaa shahro-kal lazee amar-ta feehe i’baa-daka bid-do-aa’e wa zameen-ta laho-mul ijaa-ba-ta war-rah-mata wa kulta wa izaa sa-laka i’baa-dee a’nnee fa-innee qaree-boon ojee-bo da’watad daa-ee’ izaa da-a’ane fad-o’oka yaa mojee-ba da’watil muztar-reena wa yaa kaashe-fas soo-e a’nil makroo-beena wa yaa jaa-e’lal laiy-le saka-nan wa yaa mal-laa yamoo-to igh-fir-leman yamoo-to qaddar-ta wa khalaq-ta wa saw-waiy-ta.
Fa-lakal hamdo at-a’mta wa sa-qaiy-ta wa aa-waiy-ta fa-razaq-ta fa-lakal hamdo as-aloka an to-salle-ya a’laa mohammadiw wa aale mohammadin fil laiy-le izaa yagh-shaa wa fin-nahaa-re izaa-ta-jallaa wa fil aakhe-ra-te wal oolaa wa an tak-feenee maa aham-nee wa tagh-fera-lee inna-ka antal ghafoo-rur raheeme.
O Allah, this is Your month in which You have ordered Your servants to supplicate You and You have guaranteed their acceptance and mercy and You have said: And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me. And I accept it. Thus O one who hears the plaints of the restless and One who removes the grief of the aggrieved, and One who made the night as the time of repose, O one who does not die, forgive the one who is mortal. Only You have given the strength, only You have created. Only You have equated with joy and sorrow. Praise is for You only. You have nurtured and given refuge and given sustenance. Then praise is only for You. I ask You to bless Muhammad and Aale Muhammad (a.s) in the night when it draws a veil and in the day when it shines in brightness and in the hereafter and the former and be sufficient for me and forgive me, because only You are the most forgiving. Indeed You are the forgiving and merciful.
بار الہ! یہ تیرا ایسا مہینہ ہے کہ تو نے اس میں اپنے بندوں کو دعا کرنے کا حکم دیا ہے اور ان کو ضمانت دی ہے تو نے اس کی قبلیت اور رحمت کی اور تو نے ارشاد فرمایا ہے کہ، اے رسول جب میرے بندے آپ سے میرے بارے میں سوال کرے (تو کہے دیجیے) میں ان کے قریب ہی ہو، جب ان میں سے کوئی دعا مانگتا ہے تو میں اس کی دعا قبل کرتا ہو۔ پس اے بے چینیوں کی دعاؤں کو سننے والے اور اے پریشان حال کی پریشانی کو دور کر نے والے اور اے رات کو سکون بخش بنانے والے اور اے وہ ذات جس کے لیے موت نہیں ہے، اس کی خطا بخش دے جس کے لیے موت بر حق ہے۔ تو نے ہی قدرت عنایت فرمائی ہے، تو نے ہی پیدا کیا ہے، تو نے ہی دخ سوک سے درست کیا ہے۔ پس تیرے ہی لیے ہر تعریف زیبا ہے، تو نے کھلایا پلایا، پناہ دی، رزق دیا، پس تیرے ہی لیے ہر تعریف ہے، میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوم کے محمدؐ اور آل محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما رات کی تاریکیوں میں اور دن کے اجالوں میں ابتدا میں، اور میری تمام مہمات میں میری کفایت کر اور مجھے معاف فرما کیوں کہ بس تو ہی بہت زیادہ بخش نے والا اور رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
