بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْتَآنِفُ الْعَمَلَ وَاَرْجُو الْعَفْوَ وَھٰذِہٖ اَوَّلُ لَیْلَۃٍ مِّنْ لَّیَالِیَ الثُّلْثَیْنِ اَدْعُوْکَ بِاَسْمَآئِکَ الْحُسْنٰی وَاَسْتَجِیْرُ بِکَ مِنْ نَارِکَ الَّتِیْ لَا تُطْفَاُ وَاَسْئَلُکَ اَنْ تُقَوِّیَنِیْ عَلٰی قِیَامِہٖ وَصِیَامِہٖ وَاَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِیْ وَتَرْحَمَنِیْ اِنَّکَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِیْعَادَ۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ بِرَحْمَتِکَ الَّتِیْ وَسِعَتْ کُلَّ شَیْٓءٍ تُتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتِ وَعَلَیْہَا اِتَّکَلْتُ وَاَنْتَ الصَّمَدُ الَّذِیْ لَمْ یَلِدْ وَلَمْ یُوْلَدْ وَلَمْ یَکُنْ لَّہٗ کُفُوًا اَحَدٌ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَاغْفِرْ لِیْ وَارْحَمْنِیْ وَتَجَاوَزْ عَنِّیْ اِنَّکَ اَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِیْمُ۔
Allaahumma innee astaanifu al-'amala wa-arjoo al-'afwa wahaazihee awwalu laylatin min layaaliya ath-thulthayni ad'ooka bi-asmaa'ika al-husnaa wa-astajeeru bika min naarika allatee laa tutfa'u wa-as'aluka an tuqawwiyanee 'alaa qiyaamihee wasiyaamihee wa-an taghfira lee watarhamanee innaka laa tukhlifu al-mee'aad.
Allaahumma birahmatika allatee wasi'at kulla shay'in tutimmu as-saalihaati wa'alayhaa ittakaltu wa-anta as-samadu allazee lam yalid walam yoolad walam yakun lahoo kufuwan ahadun salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin waghfir lee warhamnee watajaawaz 'annee innaka anta at-tawwaabu ar-raheem.
O Allah, indeed I am directing my attention to good deeds once again and I wish to be excused for my shortcoming. This is the first night of the remaining twenty days of this month. In it I supplicate You through Your beautiful names and I seek refuge from Your never extinguishing fire (Hell). And I beg You to give me the strength to fast and pray in this month. Forgive me and have mercy on me. Indeed you do not break Your promise. O Allah, You encompass the things through Your mercy. You take to completion the good deeds. I rely upon only this mercy of Yours. You are needless. One who neither begets nor is He begotten and there is none like Him. Bless Muhammad and Aale Muhammad (a.s) and forgive me and have mercy on me and overlook my faults. Indeed You are the one who accepts repentance and one who is merciful.
بار الہ! میں عمل خیر کی طرف دوبارہ متوجہ ہوتا ہوں اور (تقصیر کے لیے) عذر چاہتا ہو، یہ رات ماہ رمضان کی بقیہ دو تہائی راتوں میں سے پہلی ہے، جس میں تجھے تیرے اسمائے حسنیٰ کے وسیلہ سے دعا کرتا ہو۔ اور تیری نہ بجھنے والی آتش جہنم سے پناہ چاہتا ہو اور تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہو کہ ماہ صیام کے روزوں اور نمازوں کی قوت عنایت فرما، مجھے بخش دے اور مجھ پر رحم فرما۔ یقینًا تو وعدہ خلافی نہیں کرتا۔ بار الہ! تو اپنے اس رحم کے سبب سے تمام چیزوں کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے، نیک امور تکمیل تک پہنچاتا ہے، اس تیری رحمت پر بھروسا کرتا ہو۔ تو وہ بے نیاز ہے جس کا نہ کوئی فرزند ہے نہ باپ اور نہ اس کا کوئی ہم سر ہے۔ (اے اللہ) رحمت نازل فرما محمدؐ اور آل محمدؑ پر اور مجھے بخش دے، مجھ پر رحم فرما، مجھ سے درگزر کر کیوں کہ تو ہی بڑا توبہ کا قبول کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
It is reported in Iqbal Al-Amaal to recite dua Subhaanaka… Al-Baare-ul on the 11th night of Mahe Ramazan.
سید ابن طاؤس نے کتاب اقبال الاعمال میں روایت کی ہے کہ ۱۱؍ماہِ رمضان کی شب میں دُعا سُبْحَانَكَ۔۔۔ الْبَارِئُ پڑھے۔
