Allahummaj Alni Min
اَللّٰھُمَّ اجْعَلْنِیْ مِنْ
A supplication of the Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr), the blessed night of the month of Ramadan on which, in the Shia tradition, destinies are decreed. The reciter asks Allah to be counted among the servants granted every good on this night, and to receive whatever guidance, mercy and peace are sent down within it.
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اجْعَلْنِیْ مِنْ اَوْفَرِ عِبَادِکَ نَصِیْبًا مِّنْ کُلِّ خَیْرٍ اَنْزَلْتَہٗ فِیْ ھٰذِہِ اللَّیْلَۃِ اَوْاَنْتَ مُنْزِلُہٗ مِنْ نُوْرٍ تَھْتَدِیْ بِہٖ اَوْرَحْمَۃٍ تَنْشُرُھَا اَوْرِزْقٍ تَقْسِمُہٗ اَوْبَلَآئٍ تَدْفَعُہٗ اَوْضَرٍّ تَکْشِفُہٗ وَاکْتُبْ لِیْ مَاکَتَبْتَ لِاَوْلِیَاۗئِکَ الصَّالِحِیْنَ الَّذِیْنَ اسْتَوْجَبُوْا مِنْکَ الثَّوَابَ وَاٰمَنُوْا بِرِضَاکَ عَنْھُمْ مِنْکَ الْعِقَابَ یَاکَرِیْمُ یَاکَرِیْمُ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَافْعَلْ بِیْ ذَالِکَ بِرَحْمَتِکَ یَااَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ۔
Allaahum-maj a’l-nee min aw-fa-re e’baa-deka nasee-ban min kulle khairin anzal-tahu fee haaze-hil laiy-late aw-anta munze-lahu min noorin tah-ta-dee behi aw-rah-matin tan-shoro-haa aw-rizqin taq-semo-hu aw-balaa-in tadfa-o’hu aw-zarrin tak-she-fohu wak-tub lee maa katab-ta le-awliyaa-e-kas saale-heenal lazee-nas tawja-boo minkas sawaaba wa aa-manoo be-rezaa-ka a’n-hum minkal e’qaaba yaa kareemo, yaa kareemo salle a’laa mohammadiw wa aale mohammadin waf-a’l bee zaaleka be-rah-mateka yaa ar-hamar raahe-meena.
O Allah, include me also among those of Your servants whom You have bestowed all goodness in this night. And whatever is going to be revealed on this night, whether it be the light of guidance through which You have guided those who have gone astray or it be the peace of mercy which You are going to spread or that sustenance which You are going to distribute. Or that which is going to remove some sorrow or grief. Thus you bless us with all of them and write for us the same that You have written for those who have become eligible for Your rewards. Those who have achieved Your pleasure and as a result of which they have become safe from Your fury. O the most noble, O the most noble, bless Muhammad and Aale Muhammad (a.s) and do this for us, O the most merciful of the merciful ones.
خدا یا! تو مجھ کو بھی اپنے انہی بندوں میں سے قرار دے کہ جن کو تو نے اس شب میں اپنی نازل کی ہوئی خیر و بہتری سے پری طرح بہرا مند کیا ہے اور اس شب میں اپنی جو کچھ بھی نازل کرنے والا ہو، چاہے وہ نور ہدایت ہو کہ جس کے ذریعہ سے بھٹکے ہوئے کی ہدایت کر چکا، یا وہ دامن رحمت ہو کہ جس کو پھیلانے والا ہو، یا وہ رزق ہو جس کو تو باٹ نے والا ہے، یا کسی بلا کو دفع کرنے، یا رنج و غم کو دور کرنے والا ہے، غرض یہ کہ ان سب سے ہم کو بہرا مند کر اور ہمارے لئے بھی وہ باتیں تحریر کر دے کہ جو تو نے نیکو کار ایسے دوستوں کے لئے تحریر کی ہے کہ جو تیری طرف سے ثواب کے مستحق ہو چوکے ہے، اور جو تیری خشنودی کے سبب تیرے عذاب سے محفوظ ہو گیے ہے۔ اے صاحب کرم، اے صاحب کرم محمدؐ و آل محمدؑ پر رحمت نازل فرما اور اپنی رحمت سے اے رحم کرنے والوں میں سب سے زیادہ رحیم ہمارے لئے بھی یہی تجویز کر۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
