بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اِلٰهِىْ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِىْ ذَاقَ حَلَاوَةَ مَحَبَّتِكَ فَرَامَ مِنْكَ بَدَلًا وَّمَنْ ذَا الَّذىْ اَنِسَ بِقُرْبِكَ فَابْتَغٰى عَنْكَ حِوَلًا۔
Ilaahee man zaa allazee zaaqa halaawata mahabbatika faraama minka badalan waman zaa allazy anisa biqurbika fabtaghaa 'anka hiwalaa.
My God, who can have tasted the sweetness of Thy love, then wanted another in place of Thee? Who can have become intimate with Thy nearness, then sought removal from Thee?
میرے معبود! کون ہے جو تیری محبت کی شیرینی کامزہ چکھے اور پھر اس میں تبدیلی کی خواہش کرے اور کون ہے جو تیری نزدیکی سے مانوس ہو اور پھر اس سے دوری چاہے۔
اِلٰهِىْ فَاجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنِ اصْطَفَيْتَهٗ لِقُرْبِكَ وَوِلَايَتِكَ وَاَخْلَصْتَهٗ لِوُدِّكَ وَمَحَبَّتِكَ وَشَوَّقْتَهٗ اِلٰى لِقَآئِكَ وَرَضَّيْتَهٗ بِقَضَآئِكَ وَمَنَحْتَهٗ بِالنَّظَرِ اِلٰى وَجْهِكَ وَحَبَوْتَهٗ بِرِضَاكَ وَاَعَذْتَهٗ مِنْ هَجْرِكَ وَقِلَاكَ وَ بَوَّاتَهٗ مَقْعَدَ الصِّدْقِ فِىْ جَوَارِكَ وَخَصَصْتَهٗ بِمَعْرِفَتِكَ وَاَهَّلْتَهٗ لِعِبَادَتِكَ وَهَيَّمْتَ قَلْبَهٗ لِاِرَادَتِكَ وَاجْتَبَيْتَهٗ لِمُشَاهَدَتِكَ وَاَخْلَيْتَ وَجْهَهٗ لَكَ وَفَرَّغْتَ فُؤَادَهٗ لِحُبِّكَ وَرَغَّبْتَهٗ فِيْمَا عِنْدَكَ وَاَلْهَمْتَهٗ ذِكْرَكَ وَاَوْزَعْتَهٗ شُكْرَكَ وَشَغَلْتَهٗ بِطَاعَتِكَ وَصَيَّرْتَهٗ مِنْ صَالِحِىْ بَرِيَّتِكَ وَاخْتَرْتَهٗ لِمُنَاجَاتِكَ وَقَطَعْتَ عَنْهُ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ يَقْطَعُهٗ عَنْكَ۔
Ilaahee faj'alnaa mimmani istafaytahoo liqurbika wawilaayatika wa-akhlastahoo liwuddika wamahabbatika washawwaqtahoo ilaa liqaa'ika waraddaytahoo biqadaa'ika wamanahtahoo bin-nazari ilaa wajhika wahabawtahoo biridaaka wa-a'aztahoo min hajrika waqilaaka wa bawwaatahoo maq'ada as-sidqi fee jawaarika wakhasastahoo bima'rifatika wa-ahhaltahoo li'ibaadatika wahayyamta qalbahoo li-iraadatika wajtabaytahoo limushaahadatika wa-akhlayta wajhahoo laka wafarraghta fu'aadahoo lihubbika waraghghabtahoo feemaa 'indaka wal-hamtahoo zikraka wa-awza'tahoo shukraka washaghaltahoo bitaa'atika wasayyartahoo min saalihee bariyyatika wakhtartahoo limunaajaatika waqata'ta 'anhu kulla shay'in yaqta'uhoo 'ank.
My God, place us with him whom Thou hast chosen for Thy nearness and Thy friendship, purified through Thy affection and Thy love, given yearning for the meeting with Thee, made pleased with Thy decree, granted gazing upon Thy face, shown the favour of Thy good pleasure, given refuge from separation from Thee and Thy loathing, settled in a sure sitting place in Thy neighbourhood, singled out for true knowledge of Thee, made worthy for worship of Thee, whose heart Thou hast captivated with Thy will, whom Thou hast picked for contemplating Thee, whose look Thou hast made empty for Thee, whose breast Thou hast freed for Thy love, whom Thou hast made desirous of what is with Thee, inspired with Thy remembrance, allotted thanksgiving to Thee, occupied with obeying Thee, turned into one of Thy righteous creatures, chosen for whispered prayer to Thee, and from whom Thou hast cut off all things which cut him off from Thee!
میرے معبود ہمیں ان لوگوں میں قرار دے جن کو تو نے قربت و دوستی کے لئے پسند فرمایااور جن کے لئے اپنی چاہت اور محبت کو خالص کیا ہے جنہیں اپنی ملاقات کا شوق دلایاہے اور جن کو اپنی قضا پر راضی کیا اور اپنی ذات کا نظارہ کرنے کا شرف بخشا ہے جنہیں اپنی رضا سے نوازا ہے خود سے دوری اور علیٰحدگی سے پناہ میں رکھا ہے اور اپنی خوشنودی کے مقام کے قریب رکھا ہے اور انہیں اپنی معرفت کے لئے خاص کیا اپنی عبادت کا اہل بنایا ان کے دلوں میں اپنی عقیدت پیدا کی اور ان کو اپنے جلووں کے مشاہدے کے لئے چن لیا ان کے چہروں کو اپنے حضور جھکایا ان کے دلوں کو اپنی محبت کے لئے فارغ کیا اور جوکچھ تیرے پاس ہے اس کی چاہت دی انہیں اپنا ذکر تعلیم کیا ان کو اپنے شکر کی توفیق دی اور اپنی اطاعت میں مشغول کیا انہیں اپنی نیک مخلوق میں سے قرار دیا اور انہیں اپنی مناجات کے لئے چنا تو نے ان سے وہ تمام چیزیں الگ کردیں جو انہیں تجھ سے جدا کرسکتی تھیں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ دَابُهُمُ الْاِرْتِيَاحُ اِلَيْكَ وَالْحَنِيْنُ وَدَهْرُهُمُ الزَّفْرَةُ وَالْاَنِيْنُ جِبَاهُهُمْ سَاجِدَةٌ لِعَظَمَتِكَ وَعُيُوْنُهُمْ سَاهِرَةٌ فِىْ خِدْمَتِكَ وَدُمُوْعُهُمْ سَآئِلَةٌ مِّنْ خَشْيَتِكَ وَقُلُوْبُهُمْ مُتَعَلِّقَةٌۢ بِمَحَبَّتِكَ وَاَفْئِدَتُهُمْ مُنْخَلِعَةٌ مِّنْ مَهَابَتِكَ۔
Allaahumma ij'alnaa mimman daabuhumu al-irtiyaahu ilayka wal-haneenu wadahruhumu az-zafratu wal-aneenu jibaahuhum saajidatun li'azamatika wa'uyoonuhum saahiratun fee khidmatika wadumoo'uhum saa'ilatun min khashyatika waquloobuhum muta'alliqatun bimahabbatika wa-af'idatuhum munkhali'atun min mahaabatik.
O God, place us among those whose habit is rejoicing in Thee and yearning for Thee, whose time is spent in sighing and moaning! Their foreheads are bowed down before Thy mightiness, their eyes wakeful in Thy service, their tears flowing in dread of Thee, their hearts fixed upon Thy love, their cores shaken with awe of Thee.
اے معبود! ہمیں ان لوگوں میں قرار دے جو تیری بارگاہ کا شوق و خوش دلی رکھتے ہیں جن کی زندگی ہی آہ و زاری ہے ان کی پیشانیاں تیری بڑائی کے آگے جھکی ہوئی ہیں ان کی آنکھیں تیرے حضور بیدار رہتی ہیں تیرے خوف میں ان کے آنسو رواں ہیں ان کے دل تیری محبت میں لگے بندھے ہیں ان کے باطن تیرے رعب سے پگھلے ہوئے ہیں۔
يَامَنْ اَنْوَارُ قُدْسِهٖ لِاَبْصَارِ مُحِبِّيْهِ رَآئِقَةٌ وَسُبْحَاتُ وَجْهِهٖ لِقُلُوْبِ عَارِفِيْهِ شَآئِقَةٌ۔
يَامُنٰى قُلُوْبِ الْمُشْتَاقِيْنَ وَيَا غَايَةَ اٰمَالِ الْمُحِبِّيْنَ اَسْئَلُكَ حُبَّكَ وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُّحِبُّكَ وَحُبَّ كُلِّ عَمَلٍ يُوْصِلُنِىْ اِلٰى قُرْبِكَ وَاَنْ تَجْعَلَكَ اَحَبَّ اِلَيَّ مِمَّا سِوَاكَ وَاَنْ تَجْعَلَ حُبِّىْ اِيَّاكَ قَائِدًا اِلٰى رِضْوَانِكَ وَشَوْقِىْ اِلَيْكَ ذَائِدًا عَنْ عِصْيَانِكَ۔
Yaa man anwaaru qudsihee li-absaari muhibbeehi raa'iqatun wasubhaatu wajhihee liquloobi 'aarifeehi shaa'iqah.
Yaa munaa quloobi al-mushtaaqeena wayaa ghaayata aamaali al-muhibbeena as'aluka hubbaka wahubba man yuhibbuka wahubba kulli 'amalin yoosilunee ilaa qurbika wa-an taj'alaka ahabba ilayya mimmaa siwaaka wa-an taj'ala hubbee iyyaaka qaa'idan ilaa ridwaanika washawqee ilayka zaa'idan 'an 'isyaanik.
O He the lights of whose holiness induce wonder in the eyes of His lovers, the glories of whose face arouse the longing of the hearts of His knowers! O Furthest Wish of the hearts of the yearners! O Utmost Limit of the hopes of the lovers! I ask from Thee love for Thee, love for those who love Thee, love for every work which will join me to Thy nearness, and that Thou makest Thyself more beloved to me than anything other than Thee and makest my love for Thee lead to Thy good pleasure, and my yearning for Thee protect against disobeying Thee!
اے وہ جس کی پاکیزگی کے انوار محبوں کو بھلے لگتے ہیں اور اس کی ذات کے جلوے سے عارفوں کے دلوں کو کھولنے والے ہیں اے شوق رکھنے والے دلوں کی آرزو اے محبوں کے ارمانوں کی انتہا میں تجھ سے تیری محبت اور تجھ سے محبت کرنے والوں کی محبت مانگتا ہوں اور ہر اس عمل کی محبت جو مجھے تیرے نزدیک کرنے والا ہے میں چاہتا ہوں کہ دوسروں سے زیادہ اپنی ذات کو میرا محبوب بنا اور یہ کہ میں تجھ سے جو محبت کرتا ہوں اسے مجھے تیری خوشنودی تک پہنچانے والا بنا اور تیرے لئے میرا جو شوق ہے اسے نافرمانیوں سے مانع بنا۔
وَامْنُنْ بِالنَّظَرِ اِلَيْكَ عَلَيَّ وَانْظُرْ بِعَيْنِ الْوُدِّ وَالْعَطْفِ اِلَيَّ وَلَا تَصْرِفْ عَنِّىْ وَجْهَكَ وَاجْعَلْنِىْ مِنْ اَهْلِ الْاِسْعَادِ وَالْحُظْوَةِ عِنْدَكَ يَامُجِيْبُ يَااَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔
Wamnun bin-nazari ilayka 'alayya wanzur bi'ayni al-wuddi wal-'atfi ilayya walaa tasrif 'annee wajhaka waj'alnee min ahli al-is'aadi wal-huzwati 'indaka yaa mujeebu yaa arhama ar-raahimeen.
Oblige me by allowing me to gaze upon Thee, gaze upon me with the eye of affection and tenderness, turn not Thy face away from me, and make me one of the people of happiness with Thee and favoured position! O Responder, O Most Merciful of the merciful!
اور اپنی نظرِ عنایت کرکے مجھ پر احسان فرما مجھ کو نرمی اور محبت کی نظروں سے دیکھ اور مجھ سے اپنی توجہ نہ ہٹا مجھے اپنےنزدیک اہلِ سعادت اور بہرہ مندوں میں قرار دے اے دعا قبول کرنے والے اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
