بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اِلٰهِىْ اَسْكَنْتَنَا دَارًا حَفَرَتْ لَنَا حُفَرَ مَكْرِهَا وَعَلَّقَتْنَا بِاَيْدِى الْمَنَايَا فِىْ حَبَآئِلِ غَدْرِهَا فَاِلَيْكَ نَلْتَجِءُ مِنْ مَكَآئِدِ خُدَعِهَا وَبِكَ نَعْتَصِمُ مِنَ الْاِغْتِرَارِ بِزَخَارِفِ زِيْنَتِهَا فَاِنَّهَا الْمُهْلِكَةُ طُلَّابَهَا الْمُتْلِفَةُ حُلَّالَهَا الْمَحْشُوَّةُ بِالْاٰفَاتِ الْمَشْحُوْنَةُ بِالنَّكَبَاتِ۔
Ilaahee askantanaa daaran hafarat lanaa hufara makrihaa wa'allaqatnaa bi-aydee al-manaayaa fee habaa'ili ghadrihaa fa-ilayka naltaji'u min makaa'idi khuda'ihaa wabika na'tasimu mina al-ightiraari bizakhaarifi zeenatihaa fa-innahaa al-muhlikatu tullaabahaa al-mutlifatu hullaalahaa al-mahshuwwatu bil-aafaati al-mashhoonatu bin-nakabaat.
My God, Thou hast settled us in an abode which has dug for us pits of deception, and Thou hast fastened us by the hands of death in the snares of that abode’s treachery! In Thee we seek asylum from the tricks of its guile, and to Thee we hold fast, lest we be deluded by the glitter of its ornaments! It destroys its pursuers and ruins its settlers, it is stuffed with blights and loaded with calamities.
خدا کے نام سے شروع جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے۔میرے معبود!تو نے ہمیں ایسے گھر میں رکھا جس کو فریب کے کدال نے ہمارے لئے کھودا ہے اور تو نے ہمیں موت کے ہاتھوں اس کے فریب کی رسیوںمیں جکڑ دیا ہے پس ہم اس دنیا کے فریبوں اور مکاریوں سے تیری پناہ چاہتے ہیں اور ہم اس کی جھوٹی زینتوں کے دھوکوں سے بچنے کے لئے تیرا مضبوط دامن پکڑتے ہیں کہ یہ اپنے طلب گاروں کو ہلاک کرنے والی یہاں آنےوالوں کو تلف کرنے والی آفتوں سے بھری بدحالیوں سے پُر ہے۔
اِلٰهِىْ فَزَهِّدْنَا فِيْهَا وَسَلِّمْنَا مِنْهَا بِتَوْفِيْقِكَ وَعِصْمَتِكَ وَانْزَعْ عَنَّا جَلَابِيْبَ مُخَالَفَتِكَ وَتَوَلَّ اُمُوْرَنَا بِحُسْنِ كِفَايَتِكَ وَاَوْفِرْ مَزِيْدَنَا مِنْ سَعَةِ رَحْمَتِكَ وَاَجْمِلْ صِلَاتِنَا مِنْ فَيْضِ مَوَاهِبِكَ وَاَغْرِسْ فِىْ اَفْئِدَتِنَا اَشْجَارَ مَحَبَّتِكَ وَاَتْمِمْ لَنَا اَنْوَارَ مَعْرِفَتِكَ وَاَذِقْنَا حَلَاوَةَ عَفْوِكَ وَ لَذَّةَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ وَ اَقْرِرْ اَعْيُنَنَا يَوْمَ لِقَآئِكَ بِرُؤْيَتِكَ وَاَخْرِجْ حُبَّ الدُّنْيَا مِنْ قُلُوْبِنَا كَمَا فَعَلْتَ بِالصَّالِحِيْنَ مِنْ صَفْوَتِكَ وَالْاَبْرَارِ مِنْ خَآصَّتِكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَآاَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ وَيَا اَكْرَمَ الْاَكْرَمِيْنَ۔
Ilaahee fazahhidnaa feehaa wasallimnaa minhaa bitawfeeqika wa'ismatika wanza' 'annaa jalaabeeba mukhaalafatika watawalla umooranaa bihusni kifaayatika wa-awfir mazeedanaa min sa'ati rahmatika wa-ajmil silaatinaa min faydi mawaahibika wa-aghris fee af'idatinaa ashjaara mahabbatika wa-atmim lanaa anwaara ma'rifatika wa-aziqnaa halaawata 'afwika wa lazzata maghfiratika wa aqrir a'yunanaa yawma liqaa'ika biru'yatika wa-akhrij hubba ad-dunyaa min quloobinaa kamaa fa'alta bis-saaliheena min safwatika wal-abraari min khaassatika birahmatika yaa arhama ar-raahimeena wayaa akrama al-akrameen.
My God, induce us to renounce it and keep us safe from it by Thy giving success and Thy preservation from sin. Strip from us the robes of opposing Thee, attend to our affairs through Thy good sufficiency, amplify our increase from the boundless plenty of Thy mercy, be liberal in our gifts from the overflow of Thy grants, plant in our hearts the trees of Thy love, complete for us the lights of Thy knowledge, give us to taste the sweetness of Thy pardon and the pleasure of Thy forgiveness, gladden our eyes on the day of meeting Thee with the vision of Thee, dislodge the love of this world from our spirits, just as Thou hast done for the righteous, Thy selected friends, and for the pious, those whom Thou hast singled out! O Most Merciful of the merciful, O Most Generous of the most generous!
میرے معبود ہمیں اس میں زہد عطا فرما اور اپنی مدد اور حفاظت کے ساتھ اس سے بچائے رکھ اپنی مخالفت کی چادروں کو ہم سے جدا کر دے اپنی بہترین کفایت سے ہمارے امور کی سرپرستی فرما ہمارے لئے اپنی وسیع کثیررحمت اور زیادہ کردے اپنی عطاؤں کے فیض سے ہمیں بہترین جزائیں دے ہمارے دلوں میں اپنی محبت کے درخت لگا دے ہمیں اپنی معرفت کے سبھی انوار عطا کر دے اور اپنے عفوودرگزر کی شیرینی اور بخشش کی لذت کا ذائقہ چکھا اپنی ملاقات کے دن اپنے جمال سے ہماری آنکھیں ٹھنڈی فرما اور ہمارے دلوں سے دنیا کی محبت نکال دے جیسا کہ تو نے اپنے مخصوص نیکو کاروں اور اپنے چنے ہوئے خوش کردار لوگوں کے لئے کیا تجھے تیری رحمت کاواسطہ اے سب سےزیادہ رحم کرنے والے اور اے سب سے زیادہ کرم کرنے والے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
