The Whispered Prayer of the Obedient towards God (Mute’een)…
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَلْهِمْنَا طَاعَتَكَ وَجَنِّبْنَا مَعْصِيَتَكَ وَيَسِّرْ لَنَا بُلُوْغَ مَا نَتَمَنّٰى مِنِ ابْتِغَآءِ رِضْوَانِكَ وَاَحْلِلْنَا بُحْبُوْحَةَ جِنَانِكَ وَاقْشَعْ عَنْ بَصَائِرِنَا سَحَابَ الْاِرْتِيَابِ وَاكْشِفْ عَنْ قُلُوْبِنَا اَغْشِيَةَ الْمِرْيَةِ وَالْحِجَابِ وَاَزْهِقِ الْبَاطِلَ عَنْ ضَمَآئِرِنَا وَاَثْبِتِ الْحَقَّ فِىْ سَرَآئِرِنَا فَاِنَّ الشُّكُوْكَ وَالظُّنُوْنَ لَوَاقِحُ الْفِتَنِ وَمُكَدِّرَةٌ لِصَفْوِ الْمَنَائِحِ وَالْمِنَنِ۔
Allaahumma al-himnaa taa'ataka wajannibnaa ma'siyataka wayassir lanaa buloogha maa natamannaa mini ibtighaa'i ridwaanika wa-ahlilnaa buhboohata jinaanika waqsha' 'an basaa'irinaa sahaaba al-irtiyaabi wakshif 'an quloobinaa aghshiyata al-miryati wal-hijaabi wa-azhiqi al-baatila 'an damaa'irinaa wa-athbiti al-haqqa fee saraa'irinaa fa-inna ash-shukooka waz-zunoona lawaaqihu al-fitani wamukaddiratun lisafwi al-manaa'ihi wal-minan.
O God, inspire us to obey Thee, turn us aside from disobeying Thee, make it easy for us to reach the seeking of Thy good pleasure which we wish, set us down in the midst of Thy Gardens, dispel from our insights the clouds of misgiving, uncover from our hearts the wrappings of doubt and the veil, make falsehood vanish from our innermost minds, and fix the truth in our secret thoughts, for doubts and opinions fertilize temptations and muddy the purity of gifts and kindnesses!
اے معبود! ہمیں اپنی فرماں برداری کی تعلیم دے اور اپنی نافرمانی سے بچائے رکھ ہمارے لئے ان تمناؤں تک پہنچنا آسان فرما جو تیری رضا حاصل کرنے کا ذریعہ ہوں ہمیں اپنی جنت کے وسط میں جگہ دے ہماری آنکھوں سے شک کے بادل دور کردے ہمارے دلوں سے شبہ و حجاب کے پردے ہٹا دے اور ہمارے ضمیروں سے باطل کو مٹادے ہمارے باطن میں حق کو قائم کردے کیوں کہ شکوک اور گمان فتنہ پیدا کرتے ہیں اور بخششوں اور احسانوں کی چمک پر داغ دار کرتے ہیں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ احْمِلْنَا فِىْ سُفُنِ نَجَاتِكَ وَمَتِّعْنَا بِلَذِيْذِ مُنَاجَاتِكَ وَاَوْرِدْنَا حِيَاضَ حُبِّكَ وَاَذِقْنَا حَلَاوَةَ وُدِّكَ وَقُرْبِكَ وَاجْعَلْ جِهَادَنَا فِيْكَ وَهَمَّنَا فِىْ طَاعَتِكَ وَاَخْلِصْ نِيَّاتِنَا فِىْ مُعَامَلَتِكَ فَاِنَّا بِكَ وَ لَكَ وَلَا وَسِيْلَةَ لَنَا اِلَيْكَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ۔
Allaahumma ihmilnaa fee sufuni najaatika wamatti'naa bilazeezi munaajaatika wa-awridnaa hiyaada hubbika wa-aziqnaa halaawata wuddika waqurbika waj'al jihaadanaa feeka wahammanaa fee taa'atika wa-akhlis niyyaatinaa fee mu'aamalatika fa-innaa bika wa laka walaa waseelata lanaa ilayka illaa ant.
O God, carry us in the ships of Thy deliverance, give us to enjoy the pleasure of whispered prayer to Thee, make us drink at the pools of Thy love, let us taste the sweetness of Thy affection and nearness, allow us to struggle in Thee, preoccupy us with obeying Thee, and purify our intentions in devoting works to Thee, for we exist through Thee and belong to Thee, and we have no one to mediate with Thee but Thee!
اے معبود! ہمیں نجات کی کشتیوںمیں جگہ دے اپنے حضور مناجات کی لذت نصیب فرما ہمیں اپنی محبت کے حوضوں میں داخل کر اور اپنی محبت اور قربت کی مٹھاس چکھا دے ہماری کوشش اپنی راہ میں قرار دے اور اپنی اطاعت کی ہمت عطا کر اپنے ساتھ معاملے میں ہماری نیتوں کو خالص فرما کہ ہم تیرے ساتھ اور تیرے لئے ہیں تیری بارگاہ میں ہمارا وسیلہ کوئی نہیں مگر خود تو ہی ہے۔
اِلٰهِىْ اِجْعَلْنِىْ مِنَ الْمُصْطَفَيْنَ الْاَخْيَارِ وَاَلْحِقْنِىْ بِالصَّالِحِيْنَ الْاَبْرَارِ السَّابِقِيْنَ اِلَى الْمَكْرُمَاتِ الْمُسَارِعِيْنَ اِلَى الْخَيْرَاتِ الْعَامِلِيْنَ لِلْبَاقِيَاتِ الصَّالِحَاتِ السَّاعِيْنَ اِلٰى رَفِيْعِ الدَّرَجَاتِ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ وَبِالْاِجَابَةِ جَدِيْرٌۢ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَآاَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔
Ilaahee ij'alnee mina al-mustafayna al-akhyaari wal-hiqnee bis-saaliheena al-abraari as-saabiqeena ilaa al-makrumaati al-musaari'eena ilaa al-khayraati al-'aamileena lil-baaqiyaati as-saalihaati as-saa'eena ilaa rafee'i ad-darajaati innaka 'alaa kulli shay'in qadeerun wabil-ijaabati jadeerun birahmatika yaa arhama ar-raahimeen.
My God, place me among the chosen, the good, Join me to the righteous, the pious, the first to reach generous gifts, the swift to come upon good things, the workers of the abiding acts of righteousness, the strivers after elevated degrees! Thou art powerful over everything and disposed to respond! By Thy mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful!
میرے معبود! مجھے چنے ہوئے نیک لوگوں میں سے قرار دے اور مجھے نیکوکار پاک دل لوگوںمیں شامل فرما جو خوبیوں میں آگے بڑھنے اور نیکیوں میں جلدی کرنے والے ہیں جو اچھے آثار پر عمل کرنے والے اعلیٰ درجوں کی طرف جانے میں کوشاں ہیں بے شک تو ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے اور قبول کرنے کا اہل ہے تیری رحمت کا واسطہ اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
