A supplication of address, in which the reciter beseeches Allah and then calls upon Him by one attribute after another. He is named as the One to whom the worshippers hold fast, to whom the tired and the oppressed cry for help and the deprived bring their needs, who sends no supplicant away disappointed and whose door is never shut, whose giving never lets up and whose bounties cannot be counted. The supplication also states what cannot be said of Him: that there is no one like Him and none comparable to Him, that He was not begotten and does not beget, and that neither standing nor sitting, movement nor stillness, can be attributed to Him. The reciter also addresses Him as the beneficent, the merciful and the loving friend.

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُكَ یَا مَنْ اَقَرَّ لَهٗ بِالْعُبُوْدِیَّۃِ كُلُّ مَعْبُوْدِ یَا مَنْ یَحْمَدُهٗ كُلُّ مَحْمُوْدِ یَا مَنْ یَفْزَعُ اِلَیْهِ كُلُّ مَجْهُوْدِ یَا مَنْ یَطْلَبُ عِنْدَهٗ كُلُّ مَفْقُوْدِ یَا مَنْ سَآئِلُهٗ غَیْرُ مَرْدُوْدِ یَا مَنْ بَابُهٗ عَنْ سُؤَالِهٖ غَیْرُ مَسْدُوْدِ یَا مَنْ هُوَ غَیْرُ مَوْصُفِ وَلَا مَحْدُوْدِ یَا مَنْ عَطَآؤُهٗ غَیْرُ مَمْنُوْعِ وَلَا مَنْكُوْدِ یَا مَنْ هُوَ لِمَنْ دَعَاهُ لَیْسَ بِبَعِیْدِ وَهُوَ نِعْمَ الْمَقْصُوْدُ یَا مَنْ رَجَآئُ عِبَادِهٖ بِحَبْلِهٖ مَشْدُوْدٌ یَا مَنْ شِبْهُهٗ وَمِثْلُهٗ غَیْرُ مَوْجُوْدِ یَا مَنْ لَیْسَ بِوَالِدِ وَلَا مَوْلُوْدِ یَا مَنْ كَرَمُهٗ وَفَضْلُهٗ لَیْسَ بِمَعْدُوْدِ یَا مَنْ حَوْضُ بِرِّهٖ لِلْاَنَامِ مَوْرُوْدِ یَا مَنْ لَا یُوْصَفُ بِقِیَامِ وَلَا قُعُوْدِ یَا مَنْ لَا تَجْرِیْ عَلَیْهِ حَرْكَۃٌ وَلَا جَمُوْدٌ یَا اللهُ یَا رَحْمٰنُ یَا رَحِیْمُ یَا وَدُوْدُ یَا رَاحِمِ الشَّیْخِ الْكَبِیْرِ یَعْقُوْبَ یَاغَافِرَ ذَنْبِ دَاؤُدَ یَا مَنْ لَا یُخْلِفُ الْوَعْدَ وَیَعْفُوَ عَنِ الْمَوْعُوْدِ یَا مَنْ رِزْقَهٗ وَسِتْرُهٗ لِلْعَاصِیْنَ مَمْدُوْدٌ یَا مَنْ هُوَ مَلْجَائُ كُلِّ مُقْصَی مَطْرُوْدِ یَا مَنْ دَانَ لَهٗ جَمِیْعُ خَلْقِهٖ بِالسُّجُوْدِ یَا مَنْ لَیْسَ عَنْ نَیْلِهٖ وَجُوْدِهٖ اَحَدٌ مَصْدُوْدٌ یَا مَنْ لَا یَحِیْفُ فِیْ حُكْمِهٖ وَیَحْلُمُ عَنِ الظَّالِمِ الْحَنُوْدِ اِرْحَمْ عُبَیْدَا خَاطِئَا لَمْ یُوْفِ بِالْعُهُوْدِ اِنَّكَ فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا تُرِیْدُ یَا بَارٌ یَا وَدُوْدُ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ خَیْرِ مَبْعُوْثِ دَعٰی اِلٰی خَیْرِ مَعْبُوْدِ وَعَلٰی اِلٰهِ الطَّیِّبِیْنَ الطَّاهِرِیْنَ اَهْلِ الْكَرَمِ وَالْجُوْدِ وَافْعَلْ بِنَا مَا اَنْتَ اَهْلُهٗ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ یَا اَكْرَمَ الْاَكْرَمِیْنَ۔
Allaahumma innee as'aluka yaa man aqarra lahoo bil-'uboodiyyati kullu ma'boodi yaa man yahmaduhoo kullu mahmoodi yaa man yafza'u ilayhi kullu majhoodi yaa man yatlabu 'indahoo kullu mafqoodi yaa man saa'iluhoo ghayru mardoodi yaa man baabuhoo 'an suwlihee ghayru masdoodi yaa man huwa ghayru mawsufi walaa mahdoodi yaa man 'ataawhoo ghayru mamnoo'i walaa mankoodi yaa man huwa liman da'aahu laysa biba'eedi wahuwa ni'ma al-maqsoodu yaa man rajaa'u 'ibaadihee bihablihee mashdoodun yaa man shibhuhoo wamithluhoo ghayru mawjoodi yaa man laysa biwaalidi walaa mawloodi yaa man karamuhoo wafadluhoo laysa bima'doodi yaa man hawdu birrihee lil-anaami mawroodi yaa man laa yoosafu biqiyaami walaa qu'oodi yaa man laa tajree 'alayhi harkatun walaa jamoodun yaa allaahu yaa rahmaanu yaa raheemu yaa wadoodu yaa raahimi ash-shaykhi al-kabeeri ya'qooba yaaghaafira zanbi daawda yaa man laa yukhlifu al-wa'da waya'fuwa 'ani al-maw'oodi yaa man rizqahoo wasitruhoo lil-'aaseena mamdoodun yaa man huwa maljaa'u kulli muqsaa matroodi yaa man daana lahoo jamee'u khalqihee bis-sujoodi yaa man laysa 'an naylihee wajoodihee ahadun masdoodun yaa man laa yaheefu fee hukmihee wayahlumu 'ani az-zaalimi al-hanoodi irham 'ubaydaa khaati'aa lam yoofi bil-'uhoodi innaka fa''aalun limaa tureedu yaa baarun yaa wadoodu salli 'alaa muhammadin khayri mab'oothi da'aa ilaa khayri ma'boodi wa'alaa allaahi at-tayyibeena at-taahireena ahli al-karami wal-joodi waf'al binaa maa anta ahluhoo yaa arhama ar-raahimeena yaa akrama al-akrameena. auto
O Allah I beseech You. O He with whom remain firmly attached all the worshippers, O He before whom all the praiseworthy bow down and pay tribute, O He unto whom all the tired and the oppressed cry for help, O He who is besought for fulfillment of needs by all those who are deprived, O He who does not send away any supplicant disappointed, O He whose door is never shut up for the beseechers, O He who is indescribable and indefinable. O He in whose bestowals there is no let-up, and they are not little nor scanty, O He who is not out of the reach of prayers; and is the best destination, O He whose servants tie their hopes with (His) rope, O He like unto whom, there is no one, and no one is comparable to Him, O He who was not begotten, nor begets, O He whose bounties and favours are innumerable. O He whose overflowing reservoir of good is kept open for mankind, O He to whom standing up (wakefulness) and sitting down (rest) cannot be attributed, O He who urges his gifts and presents to reach the created beings, O He who is not circumstanced by movement or stillness (inaction), O Allah, O beneficent, O merciful, O loving friend, O He who took pity on the aging Yaqub, O He who overlooked the mistake of Dawood. O He who does not break His word and forgives those whom forgiveness has been assured, O He who gives livelihood and covers the misdeeds of the creatures to their full satisfaction, O He who gives asylum to all the persecuted victims of revenge, O He to come nearer to whom all creatures lay with the face downward on the ground in abject submission, O He from whose beneficence not a single (living) soul is kept away, O He who does not rule unjustly, nor shows mercy to the headstrong tryants, have mercy on the petty transgressors who did not carry out their obligations. Verily You do whatever You will. O Truthful, O Loving, send blessings on Muhammad, the best Messenger, who called attention (of all) to the best worshippable, and on his descendants, pious, pure, generous and liberal, and do well for me as it is worthy of You, O the most merciful, O the most generous.
اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں اے وہ ذات جس کے سامنے ہر معبود (جنہیں لوگ پوجتے رہے) اپنی بندگی کا اقرار کرتا ہے۔ اے وہ جس کی ہر قابلِ حمد چیز حمد کرتی ہے۔ اے وہ جس کی طرف ہر پریشان اور تھکا ہارا انسان بھاگتا ہے۔ اے وہ جس کے پاس ہر کھوئی ہوئی چیز تلاش کی جاتی ہے۔ اے وہ جس کا سوالی کبھی رد نہیں کیا جاتا۔ اے وہ جس کا دروازہ مانگنے والے پر کبھی بند نہیں ہوتا۔ اے وہ ذات جو نہ پوری طرح بیان کی جا سکتی ہے اور نہ اس کی کوئی حد ہے۔ اے وہ جس کی عطا نہ روکی جاتی ہے اور نہ ختم ہوتی ہے۔ اے وہ جو پکارنے والے سے دور نہیں اور تو ہی سب سے بہترین مقصود ہے۔ اے وہ جس کی رسی (یعنی سہارا) سے بندوں کی امید مضبوط بندھی ہوئی ہے۔ اے وہ جس کی کوئی مثال اور کوئی ہمسر نہیں۔ اے وہ جو نہ باپ ہے نہ بیٹا۔ اے وہ جس کا کرم اور فضل گنا نہیں جا سکتا۔ اے وہ جس کی بھلائی کا چشمہ (حوض) تمام لوگوں کے لیے ہے۔ اے وہ ذات جسے کھڑا ہونے یا بیٹھنے سے بیان نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔ اے وہ جس پر حرکت اور جمود (ٹھہراؤ) کا اطلاق نہیں ہوتا۔ اے اللہ! اے رحمان! اے رحیم! اے ودود (بہت محبت کرنے والے)! اے وہ جس نے بزرگ یعقوبؑ پر رحم فرمایا۔ اے وہ جو داؤدؑ کے گناہ کو بخشنے والا ہے۔ اے وہ جو وعدہ نہیں توڑتا اور (عذاب کی) وعید والے کو بھی معاف کر دیتا ہے۔ اے وہ جس کا رزق اور پردہ پوشی گناہگاروں تک پھیلی ہوئی ہے۔ اے وہ جو ہر دور کیے گئے اور ٹھکرائے گئے کا ٹھکانہ ہے۔ اے وہ جس کے سامنے اس کی ساری مخلوق سجدہ ریز ہے۔ اے وہ جس کی بخشش اور عطا تک پہنچنے سے کسی کو روکا نہیں جاتا۔ اے وہ جو اپنے فیصلے میں ظلم نہیں کرتا اور سخت ضدی ظالم پر بھی بردباری فرماتا ہے۔ میرے حال پر رحم فرما میں تیرا چھوٹا سا بندہ، خطاکار ہوں، میں نے عہد پورے نہیں کیے۔ بے شک تو جو چاہے کر سکتا ہے۔ اے نیکی کرنے والے! اے ودود! محمدؐ پر درود بھیج جو سب سے بہترین بھیجے گئے رسول ہیں، جنہوں نے سب سے بہترین معبود (اللہ) کی طرف بلایا۔ اور ان کی پاکیزہ، طیب و طاہر آلؑ پر بھی درود بھیج جو کرم اور سخاوت والے ہیں۔ اور ہمارے ساتھ وہ معاملہ فرما جو تیری شان کے لائق ہے۔ اے سب رحم کرنے والوں سے بڑھ کر رحم کرنے والے! اے سب سے بڑھ کر کریم!
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
