بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اِلٰهِىْ اَلْبَسَتْنِىْ الْخَطَايَا ثَوْبَ مَذَلَّتِىْ وَجَلَّلَنِىْ التَّبَاعُدُ مِنْكَ لِبَاسَ مَسْكَنَتِىْ وَاَمَاتَ قَلْبِىْ عَظِيْمُ جَنَايَتِىْ فَاَحْيِهٖ بِتَوْبَةٍ مِّنْكَ يَااَمَلِىْ وَبُغْيَتِىْ وَيَا سُؤْلِىْ وَمُنْيَتِىْ فَوَعِزَّتِكَ مَآ اَجِدُ لِذُنُوْبِىْ سِوَاكَ غَافِرًا وَلَا اَرٰى لِكَسْرِىْ غَيْرَكَ جَابِرًا۔
Allaahee al-basatnee al-khataayaa thawba mazallatee wajallalanee at-tabaa'udu minka libaasa maskanatee waamaata qalbee 'azeemu janaayatee faahyihee bitawbatin minka yaaamalee wabughyatee wayaa su'lee wamunyatee fawa'izzatika maaa ajidu lizunoobee siwaaka ghaafiran walaa araa likasree ghayraka jaabiran. auto
My God, offenses have clothed me in the garment of my lowliness, separation from Thee has wrapped me in the clothing of my misery! My dreadful crimes have deadened my heart, so bring it to life by a repentance from Thee! O my hope and my aim! O my wish and my want! By Thy might, I find no one but Thee to forgive my sins and I see none but Thee to mend my brokenness!
شروع خدا کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا ہے۔اے معبود!میرے گناہوں نے مجھے ذلت کا لباس پہنا دیا تجھ سے دوری کے باعث بے چارگی نے مجھے ڈھانپ لیا بڑے بڑے جرائم نے میرے دل کو مردہ بنادیا پس توفیقِ توبہ سے اس کو زندہ کردے اے میری امید اے میری طلب اے میری چاہت اے میری آرزو مجھے تیری عزّت کی قسم کہ سوائے تیرے میرے گناہوں کو بخشنے والا کوئی نہیں اور تیرے سوا کوئی میری کمی پوری کرنے والا نظر نہیں آتا۔
وَقَدْ خَضَعْتُ بِالْاِنَايَةِ اِلَيْكَ وَعَنَوْتُ بِالْاِسْتِكَانَةِ لَدَيْكَ فَاِنْ طَرَدْتَنِىْ مِنْ بَابِكَ فَبِمَنْ اَلُوْذُ وَاِنْ رَدَدْتَنِىْ عَنْ جَنَابِكَ فَبِمَنْ اَعُوْذُ فَوَا اَسَفَاهُ مِنْ خَجْلَتِىْ وَافْتِضَاحِىْ وَوَالَهْفَاهُ مِنْ سُوْٓ ءِ عَمَلِىْ وَاجْتِرَاحِىْ۔
Waqad khada'tu bil-inaayati ilayka wa'anawtu bil-istikaanati ladayka fain taradtanee min baabika fabiman aloozu wain radadtanee 'an janaabika fabiman a'oozu fawaa asafaahu min khajlatee waftidaahee wawaalahfaahu min soo i 'amalee wajtiraahee. auto
I have subjected myself to Thee in repeated turning, I have humbled myself to Thee in abasement. If Thou castest me out from Thy door, in whom shall I take shelter? If Thou repellest me from Thy side, in whom shall I seek refuge? O my grief at my ignominy and disgrace! O my sorrow at my evil works and what I have committed!
میں تیرے حضور جھک کر توبہ و استغفار کرتا ہوں اور درماندہ و عاجزہو کر تیرے سامنے آگیا ہوں اگر تو مجھے اپنی بارگاہ سے نکال دے تو میں کس کا سہارا لوں گا اور اگر تو نے مجھے اپنے آستانے سے دھتکار دیا تو کس کی پناہ لوں گا پس وائے ہو میری شرم ساری و رسوائی پراور صد افسوس میری اس بد عملی اور آلودگی پر۔
اَسْئَلُكَ يَاغَافِرَ الذَّنْۢبِ الْكَبِيْرِ وَيَا جَابِرَ الْعَظْمِ الْكَسِيْرِ اَنْ تَهَبَ لِىْ مُوْبِقَاتِ الْجَرَآئِرِ وَتَسْتُرَ عَلَىَّ فَاضِحَاتِ السَّرَآئِرَ وَلَا تُخْلِنِىْ فِىْ مَشْهَدِ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْۢ بَرْدِ عَفْوِكَ وَغَفْرِكَ وَلَا تُعْرِذِیْ مِنْ جَمِيْلِ صَفْحِكَ وَسَتْرِكَ۔
As'aluka yaaghaafira az-zanbi al-kabeeri wayaa jaabira al-'azmi al-kaseeri an tahaba lee moobiqaati al-jaraaa'iri watastura 'alayya faadihaati as-saraaa'ira walaa tukhlinee fee mashhadi al-qiyaamati min bardi 'afwika waghafrika walaa tu'rizee min jameeli safhika wasatrika. auto
I ask Thee, O Forgiver of great sins, O Mender of broken bones, to overlook my ruinous misdeeds and cover my disgraceful secret thoughts! At the witnessing place of the Resurrection, empty me not of the coolness of Thy pardon and forgiveness, and strip me not of Thy beautiful forbearance and covering!
سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے اے گناہانِ کبیرہ کو بخشنے والے اور ٹوٹی ہڈی کو جوڑنے والے کہ میرے سخت ترین جرائم کو بخش دے اور رسوا کرنے والے بھیدوں کی پردہ پوشی فرما میدان ِقیامت میں مجھے اپنی بخشش اور مغفرت سے محروم نہ فرما اور اپنی بہترین پردہ داری و چشم پوشی سے محروم نہ کر۔
اِلٰهِىْ ظَلِّلْ عَلٰى ذُنُوْبِىْ غَمَامَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَاَرْسِلْ عَلٰى عُيُوْبِىْ سَحَابَ رَافَتِكَ۔ اِلٰهِىْ هَلْ يَرْجِعُ الْعَبْدُ الْاٰبِقُ اِلَّا اِلٰى مَوْلَاهُ اَمْ هَلْ يُجِيْرُهٗ مِنْ سَخَطِهٖ اَحَدٌ سِوَاهُ۔ اِلٰهِىْ اِنْ كَانَ النَّدَمُ عَلَى الذَّنْۢبِ تَوْبَةً فَاِنِّىْ وَعِزَّتِكَ مِنَ النَّادِمِيْنَ وَاِنْ كَانَ الْاِسْتِغْفَارُ مِنَ الْخَطِيْٓئَةِ حِطَّةً فَاِنِّىْ لَكَ مِنَ الْمُسْتَغْفِرِيْنَ لَكَ الْعُتْبٰى حَتّٰى تَرْضٰى۔
Allaahee zalil 'alaa zunoobee ghamaama rahmatika waarsil 'alaa 'uyoobee sahaaba raafatika.
Allaahee hal yarji'u al-'abdu al-aabiqu illaa ilaa mawlaahu am hal yujeeruhoo min sakhatihee ahadun siwaahu.
Allaahee in kaana an-nadamu 'alaa az-zanbi tawbatan fainiy wa'izzatika mina an-naadimeena wain kaana al-istighfaaru mina al-khatee'ati hittatan fainiy laka mina al-mustaghfireena laka al-'utbaa hattaa tardaa. auto
My God, let the cloud of Thy mercy cast its shadow upon my sins and send the billow of Thy clemency flowing over my faults! My God does the runaway servant go back but to his master or does anyone grant sanctuary to him from HIS anger but HE. My God, if remorse for sins is a repentance, I - by Thy might - am one of the remorseful! If praying forgiveness for offenses is an alleviation, I am one of those who pray forgiveness! To Thee I return that Thou may be well pleased!
اے معبود! میرے گناہوں پر اپنے ابر ِرحمت کا سایہ ڈال دے اور میرے عیبوں پر اپنی مہربانی کی بارش برسادے اے معبود! کیا بھاگا ہوا غلام سوائے اپنے آقا کے کسی کے پاس لوٹتا ہے یا یہ کہ آقا کی ناراضی پرسوائے اس کے کوئی اسے پناہ دے سکتا ہے ؟میرے معبود اگر گناہ پر پشیمانی کا مطلب توبہ ہی ہے تو مجھے تیری عزّت کی قسم کہ میں پشیمان ہونے والوں میں ہوں اور اگر خطا کی معافی مانگنے سے خطا معاف ہوجاتی ہے تو بے شک میں تجھ سے معافی مانگنے والوں میں ہوں تیری چوکھٹ پر ہوں حتیٰ کہ تو راضی ہوجائے۔
اِلٰهِىْ بِقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَىَّ تُبْ عَلَىَّ وَبِحِلْمِكَ عَنِّىْ اَعْفُ عَنِّىْ وَبِعِلْمِكَ بِىْ اِرْفَقْ بِىْ۔ اِلٰهِىْ اَنْتَ الَّذِىْ فَتَحْتَ لِعِبَادِكَ بَابً اِلٰى عَفْوِكَ سَمَّيْتَهٗ اَلتَّوْبَةَ فَقُلْتَ تُوْبُوْا اِلَى اللهِ تَوْبَةً نَصُوْحًا فَمَا عُذْرُ مَنْ اَغْفَلَ دُخُوْلَ الْبَابِ بَعْدَ فَتْحِهٖ۔
Allaahee biqudratika 'alayya tub 'alayya wabihilmika 'aniy a'fu 'aniy wabi'ilmika bee irfaq bee.
Allaahee anta allazee fatahta li'ibaadika baaban ilaa 'afwika sammaytahoo at-tawbata faqulta tooboo ilaa allaahi tawbatan nasoohan famaa 'uzru man aghfala dukhoola al-baabi ba'da fathihee. auto
My God, through Thy power over me, turn toward me, through Thy clemency toward me, pardon me, and through Thy knowledge of me, be gentle toward me! My God, Thou art He who hast opened a door to Thy pardon and named it ’repentance’, for Thou said, Repent to God with unswerving repentance. What is the excuse of him who remains heedless of entering the door after its opening? My God, though the sins of Thy servant are ugly, Thy pardon is beautiful.
اے معبود! اپنی قدرت سے میری توبہ قبول فرما اور اپنی ملائمت و نرمی سے مجھے معاف فرما اور میرے متعلق اپنے علم سے مجھ پر مہربانی کر اے معبود! تو وہ ہے جس نے اپنے بندوں کے لئے عفوودرگزر کا دروازہ کھولا کہ جسے تو نے توبہ کا نام دیا تو نے ہی فرما یا کہ توبہ کرو خدا کے حضور مؤثر توبہ، پس کیا عذر ہے اس کا جو کھلے ہوئے دروازے سے داخل ہونے میں غفلت کرے۔
اِلٰهِىْ اِنْ كَانَ قَبُحَ الذَّنْبُ مِنْ عَبْدِكَ فَلْيَحْسُنِ الْعَفْوُ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ۔ اِلٰهِىْ مَا اَنَا بِاَوَّلِ مَنْ عَصَاكَ فَتُبْتَ عَلَيْهِ وَتَعَرَّضَ لِمَعْرُوْفِكَ فَجُدْتَ عَلَيْهِ يَامُجِيْبَ الْمُضْطَرِّ يَاكَاشِفَ الضُّرِّ يَاعَظِيْمَ الْبِرِّ يَاعَلِيْمًۢا بِمَا فِى السِّرِ يَاجَمِيْلَ السِّتْرِ۔
Allaahee in kaana qabuha az-zanbu min 'abdika fal-yahsuni al-'afwu min 'indika.
Allaahee maa anaa biawwali man 'asaaka fatubta 'alayhi wata'arrada lima'roofika fajudta 'alayhi yaamujeeba al-mudtari yaakaashifa ad-duri yaa'azeema al-biri yaa'aleeman bimaa fee al-siri yaajameela al-sitri. auto
My God, I am not the first to have disobeyed Thee, and Thou turned toward him, or to have sought to attain Thy favour, and Thou wert munificent toward him. O Responder to the distressed! O Remover of injury! O Great in goodness! O Knower of everything secret! O Beautiful through covering over!
اے معبود! اگرچہ تیرے بندے سے گناہ ہوجانا بری بات ہے لیکن تیری طرف سے معافی تو اچھی ہے اے معبود!میں ہی وہ پہلا نافرمان کہ جس کی توبہ تونے قبول کی ہو اور وہ تیرے احسان کا طالب ہوا تو تو نے اس پر عطا کی ہو اے بے قرار کی دعا قبول کرنے والے اے سختی ٹالنے والے اے بہت احسان کرنے والے اے پوشیدہ باتوں کے جاننے والے اے بہتر پردہ پوشی کرنے والے۔
اَسْتَثْفَعْتُ بِجُوْدِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ اِلَيْكَ وَتَوَسَّلْتُ بِجَنَابِكَ وَتَرَحُّمِكَ لَدَيْكَ فَاسْتَجِبْ دُعَآئِىْ وَلَا تُخَيِّبْ فِيْكَ رَجَآئِىْ وَتَقَبَّلْ تَوْبَتِىْ وَكَفِّرْ خَطِيْئَتِىْ بِمَنِّكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ يَآاَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ۔
Astathfa'tu bijoodika wakaramika ilayka watawassaltu bijanaabika watarahhumika ladayka fastajib du'aaa'ee walaa tukhayib feeka rajaaa'ee wataqabbal tawbatee wakafir khatee'atee bimanika warahmatika yaaaarhama ar-raahimeena. auto
I seek Thy munificence and Thy generosity to intercede with Thee, I seek Thy side and Thy showing mercy to mediate with Thee, so grant my supplication, disappoint not my hope in Thee, accept my repentance, and hide my offense, through Thy kindness and mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful!
میں تیری بارگاہ میں تیری بخشش و احسان کو شفاعت گزار بناتا ہوں اور تیرے سامنے تیری ذات اور تیرے رحم کو وسیلہ قرار دیتا ہوں پس میری دعا قبول فرما اور تجھ سے میری جو امید ہے اسے نہ توڑ میری توبہ قبول فرما اور اپنے رحم و کرم سے میری خطائیں معاف کردےاے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
