بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ اَنْتَ رَبِّيْ لَا اِلٰهَ لِيْ غَيْرُكَ اُوَحِّدُهٗ وَلَا رَبَّ لِيْ سِوَاكَ اَعْبُدُهٗ اَنْتَ الْوَاحِدُ الْاَحَدُ الصَّمَدُ الَّذِيْ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُوْلَدْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَكَ (لَهُ) كُفُوًا اَحَدٌ وَكَيْفَ يَكُوْنُ كُفْوٌ مِنَ الْمَخْلُوْقِيْنَ (لِلْخَالِقِ) وَمِنَ الْمَرْزُوْقِيْنَ لِلرَّازِقِ وَمَنْ لَا يَسْتَطِيْعُوْنَ لِاَنْفُسِهِمْ نَفْعًا وَلَا ضَرًّا وَلَا يَمْلِكُوْنَ مَوْتًا وَلَا حَيَاةً وَلَا نُشُوْرًا هُوَ مَالِكُ ذٰلِكَ كُلِّهٖ بِعَطِيَّتِهٖ وَتَحْرِيْمِهٖ وَيَبْتَلِيْ بِهٖ وَيُعَافِيْ مِنْهُ لَا يُسْئَلُ عَمَّا يَفْعَلُ وَهُمْ يُسْئَلُوْنَ۔
اِلٰهِيْ وَسَيِّدِيْ مَا اَغَبَّ شَهْرَ الصِّيَامِ (رَمَضَانَ) اِلٰى جَانِبِ الْفَنَآءِ وَاَنْتَ الْبَاقِيْ وَآذَنَ بِالْاِنْقِضَآءِ وَاَنْتَ الدَّآئِمُ وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ عَظَّمْتَ حَقَّهٗ فَعَظُمَ وَكَرَّمْتَهٗ فَكَرُمَ وَاِنَّ لِيْ فِيْهِ الزَّلَّاتِ كَثِيْرَةً وَالْهَفَوَاتِ عَظِيْمَةً اِنْ قَاصَصْتَنِيْ بِهَا كَانَ شَهْرَ شَقَاوَتِيْ وَاِنْ سَمَحْتَ لِيْ بِهَا كَانَ شَهْرَ سَعَادَتِيْ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ وَكَمَا اَسْعَدْتَنِيْ بِالْاِقْرَارِ بِرُبُوْبِيَّتِكَ مُبْدِئًا (مُبْتَدِئًا) فَاَسْعِدْنِيْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ وَرَافَتِكَ وَتَمْحِيْصِكَ وَسَمَاحَتِكَ مُعِيْدًا فَاِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِهٖ وَسَلَّمَ كَثِيْرًا۔
Allaahumma anta rabbee laa ilaaha lee ghayruka uwahhiduhoo walaa rabba lee siwaaka a'buduhoo anta al-waahidu al-ahadu as-samadu allazee lam yalid walam yoolad walam yakun laka (lahu) kufuwan ahadun wakayfa yakoonu kufwun mina al-makhlooqeena (lilkhaaliqi) wamina al-marzooqeena lir-raaziqi waman laa yastatee'oona li-anfusihim naf'an walaa darran walaa yamlikoona mawtan walaa hayaatan walaa nushooran huwa maaliku zaalika kullihee bi'atiyyatihee watahreemihee wayabtalee bihee wayu'aafee minhu laa yus'alu 'ammaa yaf'alu wahum yus'aloon.
Ilaahee wasayyidee maa aghabba shahra as-siyaami (ramadaana) ilaa jaanibi al-fanaa'i wa-anta al-baaqee wa-aazana bil-inqidaa'i wa-anta ad-daa'imu wahuwa allazee 'azzamta haqqahoo fa'azuma wakarramtahoo fakaruma wa-inna lee feehi az-zallaati katheeratan wal-hafawaati 'azeematan in qaasastanee bihaa kaana shahra shaqaawatee wa-in samahta lee bihaa kaana shahra sa'aadatee.
Allaahumma wakamaa as'adtanee bil-iqraari biruboobiyyatika mubdi'an (mubtadi'an) fa-as'idnee birahmatika waraafatika watamheesika wasamaahatika mu'eedan fa-innaka 'alaa kulli shay'in qadeerun wasallaa allaahu 'alaa muhammadin wa-aalihee wasallama katheeraa.
O my God! You are my Lord! There is no God for me but You alone! There are no Gods for me to worship but You. You are the One and Only! The Eternal, Absolute One who begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him! How could any of the creatures equal the Creator and any of those provided for equal the Provider while they cannot even provide for themselves any benefits or losses, and do not have any control over their own death, life and resurrection. He has authority over all these by bestowing, depriving, making suffer or granting well-being. He shall not be questioned regarding what He does, but they will be questioned. O my God! O my Master! The month of fasting is nearing its end but You are the Everlasting! It is passing but You are Eternal! It is the month whose right You have exalted, whose honor You have honored. I have great sins and great frivolities. If You punish me for them, this month will be the month of my wretchedness. However, if You forgive me, it will be the month of my prosperity. O My God! As You granted me prosperity in its beginning to confess to Your Lordship, please grant me prosperity at its end by Your Mercy, Kindness, Purification and Your Continuous Generosity. Verily You have power over all things. Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad (s.a.w.a) and his Holy Household (a.s) and greet them many times.
اے اللہ! تو ہی میرا رب ہے، تیرے سوا میرے لیے کوئی معبود نہیں۔ میں صرف تجھے ایک مانتا ہوں، اور تیرے سوا میرا کوئی رب نہیں جس کی میں عبادت کروں۔ تو ہی واحد، اکیلا، بے نیاز (صمد) ہے، جو نہ کسی کا باپ ہے، نہ کسی سے پیدا ہوا ہے، اور تیرے جیسا کوئی نہیں۔ پھر کیسے ممکن ہے کہ مخلوق میں کوئی خالق کے برابر ہو؟ یا رزق پانے والے رزق دینے والے کے برابر ہو جائیں؟ یا وہ لوگ جو اپنے لیے نفع یا نقصان کے مالک نہیں، اور جن کے اختیار میں نہ موت ہے، نہ زندگی، نہ دوبارہ اٹھایا جانا وہ تیرے برابر ہو سکیں؟ یہ سب کچھ صرف تو ہی عطا کرتا ہے، روک دیتا ہے، آزمائش دیتا ہے، اور پھر نجات بھی دیتا ہے۔ تُو اپنے کاموں کے بارے میں پوچھا نہیں جاتا، لیکن سب سے سوال ہوگا۔ اے میرے الٰہ اور میرے سردار! کیسا عجیب لگتا ہے کہ ماہِ رمضان کا وقت ختم ہونے کو ہے، اور تو ہمیشہ باقی رہنے والا ہے۔ یہ مہینہ اپنے ختم ہونے کا اعلان کررہا ہے، اور تُو ہمیشہ قائم رہنے والا ہے۔ یہ وہ مہینہ ہے جس کی عظمت تو نے بڑھائی، پس یہ عظیم بنا، اور جسے تو نے عزت دی، پس یہ باعزت ہوا۔ اور واقعی اس میں مجھ سے بہت لغزشیں اور بڑی کوتاہیاں ہوئیں۔ اگر تو نے ان پر میرا محاسبہ کیا، تو یہ مہینہ میرے لیے بدبختی کا مہینہ بن جائے گا۔ لیکن اگر تو نے مجھے معاف فرما دیا، تو یہ مہینہ میری سعادت اور کامیابی کا مہینہ بن جائے گا۔ اے اللہ! جس طرح تو نے ابتداء میں مجھے اپنی ربوبیت کا اقرار کرنے میں سعادت عطا فرمائی، اسی طرح اب اختتام پر بھی اپنی رحمت، شفقت، پاکیزگی اور معافی سے مجھے سرفراز فرما۔ بے شک تو ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے۔ اور اللہ اپنی رحمت اور سلامتی نازل کرے محمدؐ اور ان کی پاک آل پر بہت زیادہ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
Muhammad Ibne Abu Qarrih has reported in Amaal Shaher-e-Ramazan to recite dua Ilaahi Kallaf-tanee on the 20th night of Mahe Ramazan.
محمد ابن ابو قرہ نے اعمال شہر رمضان میں روایت کی ہے کہ ۲۰؍ ماہِ رمضان کی شب میں دُعااِلٰهِيْ كَلَّفْتَنِيْ پڑھے۔
