بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ زَیِّنِّیْ فِیْہِ بِالسِّتْرِ وَالْعَفَافِ وَاسْتُرْنِیْ فِیْہِ بِلِبَاسِ الْقُنُوْعِ وَالْکَفَافِ وَاحْمِلْنِیْ فِیْہِ عَلَی الْعَدْلِ وَالْاِنْصَافِ وَاٰمِنِّیْ فِیْہِ مِنْ کُلِّ مَا اَخَافُ بِعِصْمَتِکَ یَاعِصْمَۃَ الْخَآئِفِیْنَ۔
Allaahumma zayyinnee feehi bis-sitri wal-'afaafi wasturnee feehi bilibaasi al-qunoo'i wal-kafaafi wahmilnee feehi 'alaa al-'adli wal-insaafi wa-aaminnee feehi min kulli maa akhaafu bi'ismatika yaa 'ismata al-khaa'ifeen.
O Allah! On this day, beautify me with covering and chastity, cover me with the clothes of satisfaction and contentment, let me adhere to justice and fairness, and keep me safe from all that I fear, by Your protection, O the protector of the frightened.
اے معبود! آج کے دن مجھے پردے اور پاک دامنی سے زینت دے اس میں مجھے قناعت اور خود داری کے لباس سے ڈھانپ دے اس میں مجھے عدل و انصاف پر آمادہ فرما اور اس میں مجھے اپنی پناہ کے ساتھ ان چیزوں سے امن دے جن سے ڈرتا ہوں اے ڈرنے والوں کی پناہ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
It is reported in Iqbal Al-Amaal to recite dua Allaahumma Ghaarat Nojoomo on the 12th day of Mahe Ramazan.
سید ابن طاؤس نے کتاب اقبال الاعمال میں روایت ہے کہ ۱۲؍ماہِ رمضان کے دن میں دُعا اَللّٰهُمَّ غَارَتْ نُجُوْمُ پڑھے۔
