Allahummaj A’l-ho Lee Nooran
اَللّٰہُمَّ اجْعَلْہُ لِیْ نُوْرًا
بِسْمِ اللہِ وَبِاللہِ۔ اَللّٰہُمَّ اجْعَلْہُ لِیْ نُوْرًا وَطَہُوْرًا وَحِرْزًا وَاَمْنًا مِّنْ كُلِّ خَوْفٍ وَشِفَآئً مِّنْ كُلِّ دَآئٍ وَسُقْمٍ۔ اَللّٰہُمَّ طَہِّرْنِیْ وَطَہِّرْ لِیْ قَلْبِیْ وَاشْرَحْ لِیْ صَدْرِیْ وَاَجْرِ عَلٰی لِسَانِیْ مَحَبَّتَكَ وَمِدْحَتَكَ وَالثَّنَآئَ عَلَیْكَ فَاِنَّہٗ لَا قُوَّۃً لِیْ اِلَّا بِكَ وَقَدْ عَلِمْتُ اَنَّ قِوَامَ دِیْنِیْ التَّسْلِیْمُ لِاَمْرِكَ وَالْاِتِّبَاعُ لِسُنَّۃِ نَبِیِّكَ صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَیْہِ وَآلِہٖ۔
Bismil laahe wa billaahe allaahummaj a’l lee nooran wa tahooran wa hirzan wa amnan min kulle khawfin wa shefaaa-an min kulle daaa-in wa suqmin allaahumma tahhirnee wa tahhir lee qalbee wash-rah lee sadree wa ajre a’laa lesaanee mahabbataka wa midhataka was-sanaaa-a a’laika fa-innahu laa quwwatan lee illaa beka wa qad a’limto anna qewaama deenit tasleemo le-amreka wal-ittebaa-o’ lesunnate nabiyyeka salawaatoka a’layhe wa aalehi.
I commence by the name of Allah and seek help from Him. O Allah render this ghusl an illumination for me and that it may purify me, protect me from all fears and be a cure for all ills. O Allah! Purify me and my heart, broaden my chest and that my tongue may utter words of love, adoration and praise for You as there is no strength for me but You and I know that my religion is submission to You and following the practices of Your prophet, may Your peace be on him.
اللہ کے نام سے اور اللہ کی زات کا سہارا لے کر، خدایا! تو اس کو میرے لئے نور اور طہارت اور ہر خوف سے امن و امان قرار دے اور ہر بیماری اور کمی سے شفا قرار دے۔ اے میرے اللہ! مجھے پاک و پاکیزہ بنا اور میرے قلب کو بھی پاک بنا دے اور میرے سینہ کی گرہوں کو کشادہ کر دے اور میری زبان پر اپنی محبت اور مدحت اور اپنی تعریف جاری کر دے کیونکہ تیرے علاوہ اور کسی طرح کی کوئی قوت نہیں ہے۔ مجھے معلوم ہے کہ میرے دین کا وجود و بقا تیرے حکم کو تسلیم کر لینا ہے اور تیرے نبیؐ کی سنّت کی پہروی کرنا ہے، ان پر اور ان کی آل پاکؑ پر درود و سلام ہو۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
