DECIDE YOUR NIYYAT
If a person is performing his obligatory Hajj his intention (niyyat) should be of HAJJ-E-ISLAM.
اگر کوئی شخص اپنا واجب حج انجام دے رہا ہے تو اسے چاہیے کہ وہ حج اسلام کی نیت کرے۔
If a person is performing his 2nd Hajj due to having doubt regarding whether the previous (1st) Hajj was performed correctly or something went wrong then his intention (niyyat) for the current Hajj should be of HAJJ-E-EHTIYAAT (ie. if my previous Hajj was wrong then this is my Waajib Hajj and if it was correct then this is my Mustahab Hajj).
اگر کوئی شخص اپنا دوسرا حج کر رہا ہے اور اسے شک ہے کہ اس کا پہلا حج صحیح طریقے سے انجام دیا تھا یا نہیں، تو اسے چاہیے کہ وہ حج احتیاط کی نیت سے انجام دے (یعنی اگر میرا پہلا حج صحیح نہیں تھا تو یہ میرا واجب حج ہے اور اگر صحیح تھا تو یہ میرا مستحب حج ہے)۔
If a person has the sufficient amount to go for Hajj but he is not sure whether Hajj has become obligatory on him or not, in this situation he should perform his Hajj with the intention (niyyat) of MAA FEE ZIMMAH (ie. if Hajj has become obligatory then this will be the Waajib Hajj and if not then it will be Mustahab Hajj).
اگر کسی شخص کے پاس حج پے جانے کی رقم ہے مگر اسے یہ نہیں پتا کہ حج اس پر واجب بھی ہوا ہے یا نہیں، تو اسے چاہیے کہ وہ ما فی ذمہ کی نیت سے انجام دے (یعنی اگر اس پر واجب ہو گیا ہے تو یہ اس کا واجب حج ہو گا اور اگر واجب نہیں ہوا تو یہ اس کا مستحب حج ہے)۔
If a person is performing a proxy Hajj then his intention (niyyat) should be HAJJ-E-NIYAABAT for so and so person (he should take the name of that person on whose behalf he is performing the Proxy Hajj).
اگر کوئی کسی کی نیابت میں حج انجام دے رہا ہے تو اسے چاہیے کہ نیت کرے کہ حج نیابت کرتا ہوں فلان بن فلان (اس کا نام لے جس کے لئے وہ اس حج کو انجام دے رہا ہے)۔
REMEMBER THAT…
Umrah-e-Tamatto (1st Part of the Hajj) can be performed from the month of Shawwal till the 7th of Zilhajj and the rituals of Hajj-e-Tamatto (2nd Part of the Hajj) starts from 8th Zilhajj. In between these two parts no Umrah (Umrah-e-Mufradah) can be performed.
عمرۂ تمتع (یعنی حج کا پہلا حصہ) ماہِ شوّال سے ۷؍ماہِ ذی الحجہ کے درمیان انجام دیا جا سکتا ہے، اور حج تمتع (یعنی حج کا دوسرا حصہ) ۸؍ماہِ ذی الحجہ سے شروع ہوتا ہے۔ ان دونوں حصوں کے درمیان عمرہ مفردہ (یعنی عمرہ) انجام نہیں دیا جا سکتا ہے۔
If a person performs Umrah-e-Tamatto (1st Part of Hajj) in Zilhajj and then complete his Hajj by performing Hajj-e-Tamatto (2nd Part of Hajj) he therefore cannot perform Umrah (Umrah-e-Mufradah) for self as it is prohibited to perform two Umrah in a single month but he can perform Umrah for others.
اگر کوئی شخص عمرہ تمتع (حج کا پہلا حصہ) ماہ ذی الحجہ میں انجام دے اور پھر حج تمتع (حج کا دوسرا حصہ) پورا کر لینے کے بعد وہ خود کے لیئے عمرہ (عمرہ مفردہ) کرنے کا ارادہ رکھتا ہو تو ایک ہی مہینے میں ۲ عمرہ انجام نہیں دے سکتا۔ البتہ دوسروں کی نیابت میں عمرہ انجام دے سکتا ہے۔
If a person intends to perform Umrah-e-Tamatto (1st part of Hajj) it is obligatory on him to wear the Ehraam from Miqaat and for Umrah-e-Mufradah (Umrah) if he is already in Mecca he can wear the Ehraam from Masjid-e-Taneem and if he is out of Mecca then it is obligatory to go to Miqaat.
اگر کوئی شخص عمرہ تمتع (حج کا پہلا حصہ) انجام دینا چاہے تو واجب ہے کہ وہ احرام میقات جا کر باندھے اور عمرہ مفردہ (مستحب عمرہ) کے لئے اگر وہ مکہ ہی میں ہے تو مسجد تنعیم جا کر احرام باندھے اور اگر مکہ سے باہر ہے تو اس کے لئے میقات جانا واجب ہے۔
