Surah Quraish (106, 4 ayat)سورۂ قریش

The text names the Quraish and the protection given them during their trading caravans in the winter and the summer. From that it draws its call: let them serve the Lord of this House. He is described as the one who feeds them against hunger and gives them security against fear.

Arab Tribe (Makki)

The Holy Prophet (s) said that the one who recites this Surah will get the reward of 10 times the number of people performing Tawaaf and E’tekaaf. The recitation of Surah Feel and Quraysh in the waajib namaz carries great reward. If this Surah is recited on food, its ill effects are removed. Those with heart conditions should recite this Surah and then gently blow into some drinking water and drink it. If a poor person recites this Surah before sunrise, Allah (s) will make it easy for him to get his sustenance.

امام صادقؑ فرماتے ہیں:جس نے کثرت سے سورۂ قریش کی تلاوت کی خداوندعالم اسے بہشتی سواری عطا کرے گا۔ (ثواب الاعمال،ص۱۱۴)

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

لِاِيْلٰفِ قُرَيْشٍ

Li-eelaafi quraysh

For the protection of the Qureaish-

قریش کے انس و الفت کی خاطر۔

اِيْلٰفِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَآءِ وَالصَّيْفِ

Eelaafihim rihlata ash-shitaa'i was-sayf

Their protection during their trading caravans in the winter and the summer-

جو انہیں سردی اور گرمی کے سفر سے ہے ۔

فَلْيَعْبُدُوْا رَبَّ هٰذَا الْبَيْتِ

Fal-ya'budoo rabba haazaa al-bayt

So let them serve the Lord of this House

لہذا انہیں چاہئے کہ اس گھر کے مالک کی عبادت کریں۔

اَلَّذِيْٓ اَطْعَمَهُم مِّنْ جُوْعٍ وَّاٰمَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍ

Allazee at'amahum min joo'in wa-aamanahum min khawf

Who feeds them against hunger and gives them security against fear.

جس نے انہیں بھوک میں سیر کیا ہے اور خوف سے محفوظ بنایا ہے۔

صَدَقَ اللهُ الْعَلِیُّ الْعَظِیْمُ۔

Sadaqa allaahu al-'aliyyu al-'azeem.

Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.

اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔

Alongside this in Surahs
