Surah Kausar (108, 3 ayat)سورۂ کوثر

The text speaks directly to the one addressed: surely We have given you Kausar. What follows is put as a consequence, to pray to your Lord and make a sacrifice. It closes on his enemy, declared to be the one who shall be without posterity.

Abundance of Good (Makki)

It is narrated from Imam Jafar Sadiq (a) that the person who recites this Surah in any of his prayers, will drink from the fountain of Kausar. The reward for reciting this Surah is compared to 10 times the number of cattle slaughtered on Eid-ul-Azha every year until the Day of Resurrection.

امام صادقؑ نے فرمایا:مستحب یاواجب نمازوں میں سورۂ کوثر کی تلاوت کرنے والے کوخداوند عالم کوثر سے سیراب کرے گا۔ (مجمع البیان،ج۱۰ ص۴۵۸)

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

اِنَّآ اَعْطَيْنٰكَ الْكَوْثَرَ

Innaa a'taynaaka al-kawthar

Surely We have given you Kausar

بے شک ہم نے آپ کو کوثر عطا کیا ہے۔

فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ

Fasalli lirabbika wanhar

Therefore pray to your Lord and make a sacrifice.

لہذا آپ اپنے رب کے لئے نماز پڑھیں اور قربانی دیں۔

اِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْاَبْتَرُ

Inna shaani'aka huwa al-abtar

Surely your enemy is the one who shall be without posterity.

یقینًا آپ کا دشمن بے اولاد رہے گا۔

صَدَقَ اللهُ الْعَلِیُّ الْعَظِیْمُ۔

Sadaqa allaahu al-'aliyyu al-'azeem.

Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.

اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔
