Surah Infitaar (82, 19 ayat)سورۂ انفطار

The heaven splits, the stars scatter, the seas pour forth and the graves open, and then every soul knows what it sent ahead and what it held back. Man is asked directly what beguiled him from the Lord who created and shaped him. Honourable recorders keep watch, and the close describes a day when no soul controls anything for another.

Cleaving (Makki)

The Holy Prophet (s) said that if a person recites this Surah frequently in his prayers then on the Day of Judgement there will be no curtain between Allah (s) and himself and when his book of deeds will be opened, Allah (s) will protect him from humiliation. If a prisoner writes this Surah and keeps it with him, he will be released sooner and he will be saved from any dangers. It is narrated from Imam Jafar Sadiq that even if the sins of the one who recites this Surah are equal to the drops of rain, he will still be forgiven. This Surah is also good for the eyes and one should blow gently into the eyes after reciting this Surah.

رسول اکرمؐ نے فرمایا:جو شخص سورۂ انفطار کی تلاوت کرے گا اللہ تعالیٰ ہر قبر کے برابر اجرعطاکرےگا اورہرقطرے کادس گنا اجر دے گا اورروزِ قیامت اس کی عظیم شان ہوگی۔ (مجمع البیان، ج۱۰ص۲۸۳)

بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔

اِذَا السَّمَآءُ انْفَطَرَتْ

Izaa as-samaa'u infatarat

When the heaven becomes cleft asunder

جب آسمان شگافتہ ہو جائے گا۔

وَاِذَا الْكَوَاكِبُ انْتَثَرَتْ

Wa-izaa al-kawaakibu intatharat

And when the stars become dispersed

اور جب ستارے بکھر جائیں گے۔

وَاِذَا الْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ

Wa-izaa al-bihaaru fujjirat

And when the seas are made to flow forth

اور جب دریا بہہ کر ایک دوسرے سے مل جائیں گے۔

وَاِذَا الْقُبُوْرُ بُعْثِرَتْ

Wa-izaa al-qubooru bu'thirat

And when the graves are laid open

اور جب قبروں کو اُبھار دیا جائے گا۔

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَاَخَّرَتْ

'Alimat nafsun maa qaddamat wa-akhkharat

Every soul shall know what it has sent before and held back.

تب ہر نفس کو معلوم ہو گا کہ کیا مقدم کیا ہے اور کیا موخر کیا ہے۔

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الْاِنْسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيْمِ

Yaa ayyuhaa al-insaanu maa gharraka birabbika al-kareem

O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one

اے انسان تجھے ربِ کریم کے بارے میں کس شے نے دھوکہ میں رکھا ہے۔

اَلَّذِيْ خَلَقَكَ فَسَوّٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ

Allazee khalaqaka fasawwaaka fa'adalak

Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical?

اس نے تجھے پیدا کیا ہے اور پھر برابر کر کے متوازن بنایا ہے۔

فِيْٓ اَيِّ صُوْرَةٍ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ

Fee ayyi sooratin maa shaa'a rakkabak

Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you.

اس نے جس صورت میں چاہا ہے تیرے اجزا کی ترکیب کی ہے۔

كَلَّا بَلْ تُكَذِّبُوْنَ بِالدِّيْنِ

Kallaa bal tukazziboona bid-deen

Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day

مگر تم لوگ جزا کا انکار کرتے ہو۔

وَاِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحٰفِظِيْنَ

Wa-inna 'alaykum lahaafizeen

And most surely there are keepers over you

اور یقینًا تمہارے سروں پر نگہبان مقرر ہیں۔

كِرَامًا كَاتِبِيْنَ

Kiraaman kaatibeen

Honorable recorders

جو باعزّت لکھنے والے ہیں۔

يَعْلَمُوْنَ مَا تَفْعَلُوْنَ

Ya'lamoona maa taf'aloon

They know what you do.

وہ تمہارے اعمال کو خوب جانتے ہیں۔

اِنَّ الْاَبْرَارَ لَفِيْ نَعِيْمٍ

Inna al-abraara lafee na'eem

Most surely the righteous are in bliss

بے شک نیک لوگ نعمتوں میں ہوں گے۔

وَاِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِيْ جَحِيْمٍ

Wa-inna al-fujjaara lafee jaheem

And most surely the wicked are in burning fire

اور بدکار افراد جہنّم میں ہوں گے۔

يَصْلَوْنَهَا يَوْمَ الدِّيْنِ

Yaslawnahaa yawma ad-deen

They shall enter it on the day of judgment.

وہ روزِ جزا اسی میں جھونک دیئے جائیں گے۔

وَمَا هُمْ عَنْهَا بِغَآئِبِيْنَ

Wamaa hum 'anhaa bighaa'ibeen

And they shall by no means be absent from it.

اور وہ اس سے بچ کر نہ جا سکیں گے۔

وَمَآ اَدْرٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّيْنِ

Wamaa adraaka maa yawmu ad-deen

And what will make you realize what the day of judgement is?

اور تم کیا جانو کہ جزا کا دن کیا شے ہے۔

ثُمَّ مَآ اَدْرٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ الدِّيْنِ

Thumma maa adraaka maa yawmu ad-deen

Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is?

پھر تمہیں کیا معلوم کہ جزا کا دن کیسا ہوتا ہے۔

يَوْمَ لَا تَمْلِكُ نَفْسٌ لِّنَفْسٍ شَيْئًا وَّالْاَمْرُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلهِ

Yawma laa tamliku nafsun linafsin shay'an wal-amru yawma'izin lillaah

The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah’s.

اس دن کوئی کسی کے بارے میں کوئی اختیار نہ رکھتا ہو گا اور سارا اختیار اللہ کے ہاتھوں میں ہو گا۔

صَدَقَ اللهُ الْعَلِیُّ الْعَظِیْمُ۔

Sadaqa allaahu al-'aliyyu al-'azeem.

Almighty God the most high speaks the truth.

اللہ بزرگ و برتر نے سچ فرمایا ہے۔
