The ziyarat of Muslim ibn Aqil (a), recited at his grave in Kufa — the longest text in this section.
Muslim was the cousin and envoy of Imam Husain (a), sent ahead to Kufa and killed there before Karbala. The ziyarat opens with praise of Allah and salawat, then gives salam to Muslim from Allah, His angels, the prophets, the messengers, the chosen Imams and the martyrs.
Its body is a series of testimonies: that he established salat and gave zakat, enjoined good and forbade evil, fought sincerely in the way of Allah and was killed striving in it; that he kept the covenant he made and gave his life supporting the proof of Allah. It then curses, one by one, those who killed him, ordered his killing, slandered him, and those who gave their oath of loyalty and then broke it and handed him to his enemy — the betrayal of Kufa named plainly.
The visitor's own position closes it: I am with you, I am not with your enemies. The page carries a second ziyarat after it, for a martyr whose testimony recalls the battle of Badr.
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الْمَلِكِ الْحَقِّ الْمُبِیْنِ الْمُتَصَاغِرِ لِعَظَمَتِهٖ جَبَابِرَۃُ الطَّاغِیْنَ الْمُعْتَرِفِ بِرُبُوْبِیَّتِهٖ جَمِیْعُ اَهْلِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِیْنَ الْمُقِرِّ بِتَوْحِیْدِهٖ سَآئِرُ الْخَلْقِ اَجْمَعِیْنَ وَصَلَّی اللہُ عَلٰی سَیِّدِ الْاَنَامِ وَاَهْلِ بَیْتِهِ الْكِرَامِ صَلٰوۃً تَقَرُّبِهَا اَعْیُنُهُمْ وَیَرْغَمُ بِهَآ اَنْفُ شَانِئِهِمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْاِنْسِ اَجْمَعِیْنَ۔
Alhamdo lillaahil malekil haqqil mobeenil mota-saa-ghere le-a’zamatehi jabaaberatut taagheenal mo’tarefe be-roboobiyyate jamee-o’ ahlis samaawaate wal arzeenal moqirre be-tawheedehi saaa-erul khalqe ajma-e’ena wa sallal laaho a’laa sayyedil anaame wa ahle baytehil keraame salaatan taqarrobehaa a-a’yonohum wa yarghamo behaa anfo shaane-ehim menal jinne wal inse ajma-e’ena.
Praise be to Allah the evident real master. All the rebel tyrants feel small before His greatness. All the dwellers of the heavens and the earths acknowledge Him as their Lord and every created being believes in His tawhid (oneness). Blessings of Allah be on the chief of mankind and on his noble Ahlul Bayt. Blessings which may bring light of joy in their eyes and humiliate and blacken the faces of their enemies among the jinn and men.
حمد ہے اس خدا کے لئے جو بادشاہ ہے حق ہے آشکارہے اس کی عظمت کے سامنے تمام سرکش مغرور ذلیل ہیں اس کی ربوبیت کا آسمانوں اور زمینوں میں رہنے والے اقرار کرتے ہیں اس کی وحدانیت کا تمام مخلوق نے اقرار کیا ہےخدا رحمت کرے تمام مخلوق کے سردار اور ان کے بلند مرتبہ اہل بیتؑ پر ایسی رحمت جس سے ان کی آنکھیں ٹھنڈی ہوں اور ان کے دشمن ذلیل و خوار ہوں جو جنوں اور انسانوں میں سے ہیں۔
سَلَامُ اللہِ الْعَلِیِّ الْعَظِیْمِ وَسَلَامُ مَلٰٓئِكَۃِ الْمُقَرَّبِیْنَ وَاَنْبِیَآئِهِ الْمُرْسَلِیْنَ وَاَئِمَّتِهِ الْمُنْتَجَبِیْنَ وَعِبَادِهِ الصّٰلِحِیْنَ وَجَمِیْعِ الشُّهَدَآءِ وَالصِّدِّیْقِیْنَ وَالزَّاكِیَاتُ الطَّیِّبَاتُ فِیْ مَا تَغْتَدِیْ وَتَرُوْحُ عَلَیْكَ یَا مُسْلِمَ ابْنَ عَقِیْلِ بْنِ اَبِیْ طَالِبٍ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ۔
Salaamul laahil a’liyyil a’zeeme wa salaamo malaaa-ekatil moqarrabeena wa ambeyaaa-ehil mursaleena wa a-immatehil muntajabeena wa e’baadehis saaleheena wa jamee-i’sh sho-hadaaa-e was-siddeeqeena waz-zaakeyaatut tayyebaato fee maa tagh-tadee wa tarooho a’laika yaa muslemabna a’qeelibne abee taalebin wa rahmatul laahe wa barakaatohu.
Salam (salutation) be on you O Muslim bin Aqil bin Abi Talib from Allah, His favourite angels, prophets, messengers, chosen imams, pious servants, martyrs and the truthfuls, and also pure and good congratulation from them, and mercy of Allah be on you.
سلام ہو خدائے بلند بزرگ کا سلام ہو اس کے مقرب فرشتوں کا اس کے بھیجے ہوئے نبیوں کا اس کے چنے ہوئے اماموں کا اس کے نیک بندوں کااور سلام ہو سب شہیدوں اور صدیقوں کا اور پاکیزہ وخوش گوار رحمتیں ہوں آپ پرہر صبح و شام اےمسلمؑ ابن عقیلؑ ابن ابی طالبؑ آپ پر خدا کی رحمت اور برکتیں ہوں۔
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ اَقَمْتَ الصَّلٰوۃَ وَاٰتَیْتَ الزَّكٰوۃَ وَاَمَرْتَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَنَهَیْتَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَجَاهَدْتَ فِی اللہِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهٖ وَقُتِلْتَ عَلٰی مِنْهَاجِ الْمُجَاهِدِیْنَ فِیْ سَبِیْلِهٖ حَتّٰی لَقِیْتَ اللہَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَهُوَ عَنْكَ رَاضٍ وَّاَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ وَفَیْتَ بِعَهْدِ اللہِ وَبَذَلْتَ نَفْسَكَ فِیْ نُصْرَۃِ حُجَّۃِ اللہِ وَابْنِ حُجَّتِهٖ حَتّٰی اَتٰیكَ الْیَقِیْنُ۔
Ash-hado annaka aqamtas salaata wa aataytaz zakaata wa amarta bil-ma’roofe wa nahayta a’nil munkare wa jaahad-ta fillaahe haqqa jehaadehi wa qotilta a’laa minhaajil mojaahedeena fee sabeelehi hattaa laqeetal laaha a’zza wa jalla wa howa a’nka raaziwn wa ash-hado annaka wafayta be-a’hdil laahe wa bazalta nafsaka fee nusrate hujjatil laahe wabne hujjatehi hattaa ataakal yaqeeno.
I bear witness that you had established salat, given zakat, advised to do good, prevented from doing evil, sincerely fought in the cause of Allah, and you were killed while striving in His way, till you met the mighty Allah who is happy with your efforts. I bear witness that you have fulfilled covenant made with Allah and gave your life to support the hujjatullah and proof of Allah, the son of His proof, till you died.
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ نے نماز قائم کی اور زکوٰۃ دیتے رہے آپ نے نیک کاموں کا حکم دیا اور برے کاموں سے روکا آپ نے خداکے لئے جہاد کیا جو جہاد کرنے کا حق ہےآپ نے خدا کی راہ میں مجاہدوں کی روش پر جنگ کی یہاں تک کہ آپ خدائے عزوجل سے جاملے جب کہ وہ آپ سے راضی تھامیں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ نے خدا کا عہدپورا کیا اور آپ نے اپنی جان قربان کردی حجتِ خدا اور حجتِ خدا کے فرزند کی نصرت میں حتی کہ آپ شہید ہوگئے۔
اَشْهَدُ لَكَ بِالتَّسْلِیْمِ وَالْوَفَآءِ وَالنَّصِیْحَۃِ لِخَلَفِ النَّبِیِّ الْمُرْسَلِ وَالسِّبْطِ الْمُنْتَجَبِ وَالدَّلِیْلِ الْعَالِمِ وَالْوَصِیِّ الْمُبَلِّغِ وَالْمَظْلُوْمِ الْمُهْتَضَمِ فَجَزَاكَ اللہُ عَنْ رَسُوْلِهٖ وَعَنْ اَمِیْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَعَنِ الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَیْنِ اَفْضَلَ الْجَزَآءِ بِمَا صَبَرْتَ وَاحْتَسَبْتَ وَاَعَنْتَ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَی الدَّارِ۔
Ash-hado laka bit-tasleeme wal-wafaaa-e wan-naseehate le-khalafin nabiyyil mursale was-sibtil muntajabe wad-daleelil a’aleme wal wasiyyil moballeghe wal mazloomil mohtazame fa-jazaakal laaho a’n rasoolehi wa a’n ameeril momeneena wa a’nil hasane wal husayne afzalal ja-zaaa-e bemaa sabarta wah-tasabta wa a-a’nta fa-ne’ma u’qbad daare.
I bear witness that you obeyed the son of the commissioned prophet, remained loyal to him and advised people to do the same, because he was his exalted grandson, who was a thoroughly learned guide, the executor of the Holy Prophet’s will, the preacher of truth, but was oppressed and wronged. So may Allah give you a reward on behalf of His Messenger, Amir al Momeneen, Hassan and Husain, the best reward for that, which you suffered patiently, remained satisfied and extended unreserved support. So the accomplishment was excellent.
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ کی فرماں برداری اورخیر خواہی کی جو آپ نے نبی مرسلؐ کے فرزند سے کی جوباشرف نواسہ صاحب ِعلم رہنما آگاہ کرنے والا وصی اور پامال شدہ مظلوم تھا پس خدا جزا دے آپ کو اپنے رسولؐ کی طرف سے امیر المؤمنین ؑ کی طرف سے اور حسنؑ وحسینؑ کی طرف سے بہترین جزا اس لئے کہ آپ نے صبر کیا امیدِ ثواب رکھی اور ساتھ دیا پس کیا ہی اچھا ہے آخرت کا گھر۔
لَعَنَ اللہُ مَنْ قَتَلَكَ وَلَعَنَ اللہُ مَنْ اَمَرَ بِقَتْلِكَ وَلَعَنَ اللہُ مَنْ ظَلَمَكَ وَلَعَنَ اللہُ مَنِ افْتَرٰی عَلَیْكَ وَلَعَنَ اللہُ مَنْ جَهِلَ حَقَّكَ وَاسْتَخَفَّ بِحُرْمَتِكَ وَلَعَنَ اللہُ مَنْ بَایَعَكَ وَغَشَّكَ وَخَذَلَكَ وَاَسْلَمَكَ وَمَنْ اَلَبَّ عَلَیْكَ وَمَنْ لَمْ یُعْنِكَ۔
La-a’nal laaho man qatalaka wa la-a’nal laaho man amara be-qatleka wa la-a’nal laaho man zalamaka wa la-a’nal laaho manif taraa a’laika wa la-a’nal laaho man jahela haqqaka was-takhaffa be-hurmateka wa la-a’nal laaho man ba-ya-a’ka wa ghasshaka wa khazalaka wa aslamaka wa man alabba a’laika wa man lam yo’neka.
May Allah curse him who killed you. May Allah curse him who gave orders to kill you. May Allah curse him who slandered you. May Allah curse him who remained ignorant of your rights and made light of your honour. May Allah curse him who first took the oath of loyalty and then broke it, forsook you, handed over you to your enemy, instigated people against you, and did not help you.
خدا لعنت کرے اس پر جس نے آپ کو قتل کیا خدا لعنت کرے اس پر جس نے آپ کے قتل کا حکم دیا خدا لعنت کرے اس پر جس نے آپ پر ظلم کیا خدا لعنت کرے اس پر جس نے آپ پر بہتان لگایا خدا لعنت کرے اس پر جس نے آپ کے حق کونہ پہچانا اورآپ کی حرمت کو کمتر سمجھا خدالعنت کرے اس پر جس نے آپ کی بیعت میں آپ کو دھوکہ دیا آپ کو تنہا چھوڑا اور دشمن کے حوالے کیا اور لعنت ہو اس پرجس نے آپ کے مقابلے میں دشمن کاساتھ دیا اور آپ کی مدد نہ کی۔
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الَّذِیْ جَعَلَ النَّارَ مَثْوٰهُمْ وَبِئْسَ الْوِرْدُ الْمَوْرُوْدُ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ قُتِلْتُ مَظْلُوْمًا وَّاَنَّ اللہَ مُنْجِزٌ لَّكُمْ مَا وَعَدَكُمْ جِئْتُكَ زَآئِرًا عَارِفًا بِحَقِّكُمْ مُسَلِّمًا لَّكُمْ تَابِعًا لِسُنَّتِكُمْ وَنُصْرَتِیْ لَكُمْ مُعَدَّۃٌ حَتّٰی یَحْكُمَ اللہُ وَهُوَ خَیْرُ الْحَاكِمِیْنَ۔
Alhamdo lillaahil lazee ja-a’lan naara maswaahum wa bea-sal wildul mawroodo ash-hado annaka qotilto mazloomawn wa annal laaha munjezul lakum ma wa-a’dakum jea-toka zaaa-eran a’arefan be-haqqekum mosallemal lakum taa-be-a’n le-sunnatekum wa nusratee lakum mo-a’ddatun hattaa yahkomal laaho wa howa khayrul haakemeena.
Praise be to Allah who has ordained hell for them as their abode. How terrible it is a place to come live! I bear witness that you had been mercilessly killed and certainly Allah will make good his promise He had made with all of you. I am here as a pilgrim to your holy shrine, aware of your rights; so I submit to all of you, follow your way of life, offer myself to assist you as far as Allah gives orders.
حمد ہے خدا کی جس نے جہنم کو ان کا ٹھکانہ بنایا اور وہ کیسے برے ٹھکانے میں پہنچے میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ مظلومیت کی حالت میں قتل ہوئے اﷲآپ کو جزادے گا جس کا اس نے وعدہ کیا ہے میں آیاہوں آپ کی زیارت کو آپ کےحق کو پہچانتا ہوں آپ کو مانتا ہوں آپ کی روش پرچلتا ہوں میری مدد ونصرت آپ کے لئے مخصوص ہے یہاں تک کہ خدا اس کا فیصلہ کرے اور وہ بہترین فیصلہ کرنے والا ہے۔
فَمَعَكُمْ مَعَكُمْ لَا مَعَ عَدُوِّكُمْ صَلَوَاتُ اللہِ عَلَیْكُمْ وَعَلٰیٓ اَرْوَاحِكُمْ وَاَجْسَادِكُمْ وَشَاهِدِكُمْ وَغَآئِبِكُمْ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ قَتَلَ اللہُ اُمَّۃً قَتَلَتْكُمْ بِالْاَیْدِیْ وَالْاَلْسُنِ۔
Fa-ma-a’kum ma-a’kum laa ma-a’ a’duwwekum salawaatul laahe a’laykum wa a’laa arwaahekum wa ajsaadekum wa sha-hedekum wa ghaaa-ebekum was-salaamo a’laykum wa rahmatul laahe wa barakaatohu qatalal laaho ummatan qatalatkum bil-aydee wal-alson.
So I am with you. I am not with your enemies. Blessings of Allah be on all of you, on yours souls, on your bodies, on your visible existence, on your invisible existence, and peace be on you all, and also His mercy and benedictions. May Allah destroy that group who killed you with their hands and tongues.
ہم آپ کے ساتھ ہیں آپ کے دشمن کے ساتھ نہیں ہیں خدا کی رحمتیں ہوں آپ لوگوں پرآپ کی روحوں پر آپ کے جسموں پر آپ کے حاضر اور غائب پر سلام ہوآپ سب پر خدا کی رحمت ہو اور اس کی برکات ہوں خدا تباہ وبرباد کرے اس گروہ کو جس نے آپ سے ہاتھوں اور زبانوں سے جنگ کی۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ اَیُّهَا الْعَبْدُ الصَّالِحُ الْمُطِیْعُ لِلهِ وَلِرَسُوْلِهٖ وَلِاَمِیْرِ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَالْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَیْنِ عَلَیْهِمُ السَّلَامِ۔ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ وَسَلَامٌ عَلٰی عِبَادِهِ الَّذِیْنَ اصْطَفٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِهٖ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ وَرَحْمَۃُ اللہِ وَبَرَكَاتُهٗ وَمَغْفِرَتُهٗ وَعَلٰی رُوْحِكَ وَبَدَنِكَ۔
As-salaamo a’laika ayyohal a’bdus saalehul motee-o’ lillaahe wa le-rasoolehi wa le-ameeril momeneena wal hasane wal-husayne a’laihemus salaame al-hamdo lillaahe wa salaamun a’laa e’baadehil lazeenas-tafaa mohammadiwn wa aalehi was-salaamo a’laykum wa rahmatul laahe wa barakaatohu wa maghferatohu wa a’laa rooheka wa badaneka.
Peace be on you O the obedient pious servant of Allah and His Messenger, Amir al Momeneen, Hassan and Husain (peace be on all of them). Praise be to Allah, and peace be on his chosen servants, Muhammad and His children, and also His mercy and benedictions be on them all. May His protection be on your soul and body.
سلام ہو آپ پر اے بندۂ نیکوکار کہ آپ اطاعت گذار ہیں اللہ اور اس کے رسولؐ کے تابع ہیں امیر المؤمنینؑ کے حسنؑ وحسینؑ کے ان سب پر سلام ہو حمد ہے خدا کے لئے اور سلام ہو اس کے بندوں پر جو چنے ہوئے ہیں اور وہ محمدؐ اور ان کی آلؑ ہیں آپ پر سلام ہو خدا کی رحمت اور اس کی برکات ہوں اور اس کی طرف سے بخشش ہوسلام ہو آپ کی روح اور آپ کے بدن پر۔
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ مَضَیْتَ عَلٰی مَا مَضٰی عَلَیْهِ الْبَدَرِیُّوْنَ الْمُجَاهِدُوْنَ فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللہِ الْمُبَالِغُوْنَ فِیْ جِهَادِ اَعْدَآئِهٖ وَنُصْرَۃِ اَوْلِیَآئِهٖ فَجَزَاكَ اللہُ اَفْضَلَ الْجَزَآءِ وَاَكْثَرَ الْجَزَآءِ وَاَوْفَرَ جَزَآءِ اَحَدٍ مِّمَّنْ وَفٰی بِبَیْعَتِهٖ وَاسْتَجَابَ لَهٗ دَعْوَتَهٗ وَاَطَاعَ وُلَاۃَ اَمْرِهٖ۔
Ash-hado annaka mazayta a’laa maa mazaa a’layhil badariyyoonal mojaahedoona fee sabeelil laahil mobaaleghoona fee jehaade a-a’daaa-ehi wa nusrate awleyaaa-ehi fa-ja-zaakal laaho afzalal ja-zaaa-e wa aksaral ja-zaaa-e wa awfara ja-zaaa-e ahadim mimman wafaa be-bay-a’tehi was-tajaaba lahu da’watahu wa a-taa-a’ wolaata amrehi.
I bear witness that you accomplished that against the infidels in the battle of Badr did in the cause of Allah, who were always ready against Allah’s enemies and to help His friends, so may Allah reward you with the best reward, many and abundant rewards; and also to whoso fulfilled the oath of allegiance, accepted His call and obeyed those who were divinely chosen to exercise authority.
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ اس عقیدے پر دنیا سے گئے ہیں جس پر اصحاب ِبدر دنیا سے گزرے کہ جو خدا کی راہ میں جہاد کرنے والے اس کے دشمنوں سے لڑنے والے اور اس کے دوستوں کی مدد کرنے والے تھے پس خدا جزادے آپ کو بہترین جزا بہت زیادہ جزا اور وہ بے حساب جزا جو اس کو دی کہ جس نے اس کی بیعت کا حق ادا کیا اس کی پکار پر حاضر ہوا اور اس کے مقرر کردہ حاکموں کی اطاعت کی۔
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ قَدْ بَالَغْتَ فِیْ النَّصِیْحَۃِ وَاَعْطَیْتَ غَایَۃَ الْمَجْهُوْدِ حَتّٰی بَعَثَكَ اللہُ فِیْ الشُّهَدَآءِ وَجَعَلَ رُوْحَكَ مَعَ اَرْوَاحِ السُّعَدَآءِ وَاَعْطَآكَ مَنْ جِنَانِهٖٓ اَفْسَحَهَا مَنْزِلًا وَاَفْضَلَهَا غُرَفًا وَرَفَعَ ذِكْرَكَ فِیْ الْعِلِّیِّیْنَ وَحَشَرَكَ مَعَ النَّبِیِّیْنَ وَالصِّدِّیْقِیْنَ وَالشُّهَدَآءِ وَالصَّالِحِیْنَ وَحَسُنَ اُولٰٓئِكَ رَفِیْقًا۔
Ash-hado annaka qad baalaghta fin-naseehate wa a-a’tayta ghaayatal maj-hoode hattaa ba-a’sakal laaho fish-shohadaaa-e wa ja-a’la roohaka ma-a’ arwaahis so-a’daaa-e wa a-a’taaaka man jenaanehi afsaha-haa manzelan wa afzalahaa ghurfan wa rafa-a’ zikraka fil-i’lliyyeena wa hasharaka ma-a’n nabiyyeena was-siddeeqeena wash-shohadaaa-e was-saaleheena wa hasona oolaaa-eka rafeeqan.
I bear witness that you left no stone unturned to advise the people to accept the truth and because of your tireless and utmost efforts Allah reckoned you among the martyrs, let your soul, rest in peace with the propitious souls, gave you the best and superior most place in the paradise, exalted your mention in the most honored group, and joined you with the prophets the truthful, martyrs and the pious. How majestic are these companions!
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ نے ان کی بہت خیر خواہی کی اور ان کے حق میں جان کی بازی لگائی حتی کہ خدا نے آپ کو شہیدوں میں شامل کردیا اور آپ کی روح کو خوش بختوں کی روحوں کے ساتھ رکھا اس نے آپ کو اپنی جنت میں کشادہ محل اور بڑا اونچا بالاخانہ عطا فرمایا مقام علیین میں آپ کو جگہ دی آپ کو نبیوں کے صدیقوں، شہیدوں اور نیکو کاروں کے ساتھ محشور کیا اور یہ لوگ کتنے اچھے ہم دم ہیں۔
اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكَ لَمْ تَهِنْ وَلَمْ تَنْكُلْ وَاَنَّكَ قَدْ مَضَیْتَ عَلٰی بَصِیْرَۃٍ مِّنْ اَمْرِكَ مُقْتَدِیًا بِالصّٰلِحِیْنَ وَمُتَّبِعًا لِّلنَّبِیِّیْنَ فَجَمَعَ اللہُ بَیْنَنَا وَبَیْنَكَ وَبَیْنَ رَسُوْلِهٖ وَاَوْلِیَآئِهٖ فِیْ مَنَازِلِ الْمُخْبِتِیْنَ فَاِنَّهٗ اَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ۔
Ash-hado annaka lan tahin wa lan tankul wa annaka qad mazayta a’laa baseeratim min amreka muqtadeyam bis-saaleheena wa mutta-be-a’l lin-nabiyyeena fa-jama-a’l laaho baynanaa wa baynaka wa bayna rasoolehi wa awleyaaa-ehi fee manaazelil mukhbeteena fa-innahu arhamur raahemeen.
I bear witness that neither you lagged behind nor ran away through timidity but carried out your duty on account of your awareness. You walked in the steps of the righteous and followed the example of the prophets. May Allah unite you and us with His Messenger and His friends in the abodes of those who humble themselves before Allah and enjoy peace and quiet. Verily He is the most merciful.
میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ نے نہ سستی دکھائی نہ منہ موڑا بے شک آپ دنیاسے گذرے تو اپنے عمل کا شعور رکھتے ہوئے نیکو کاروں کی پیروی اور نبیوں کا اتباع کرتے ہوئے پس خدا یکجا کرے ہمیں اور آپ کو اپنے رسولؐ اور اپنے دوستوں کے ساتھ خدا سے محبت رکھنے والوں کے مقامات پر کہ یقینًا وہ سب سے زیادہ رحم والا ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
