Imam Ali (a)’s Niche
محراب ِامیر المؤمنین علی (ع)
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
یَا مَنْ اَظْھَرَ الْجَمِیْلَ وَسَتَرَ الْقَبِیْحَ یَا مَنْ لَّمْ یُؤَاخِذْ بِالْجَرِیْرَۃِ وَلَمْ یَھْتِكِ السِّتْرَ وَالسَّرِیْرَۃَ یَا عَظِیْمَ الْعَفْوِ یَا حَسَنَ التَّجَاوُزِ یَا وَاسِعَ الْمَغْفِرَۃِ یَا بَاسِطَ الْیَدَیْنِ بِالرَّحْمَۃِ یَا صَاحِبَ كُلِّ نَجْوٰی یَا مُنْتَھٰی كُلِّ شَكْوٰی یَا كَرِیْمَ الصَّفْحِ یَا عَظِیْمَ الرَّجَآءِ یَا سَیِّدِیْ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّافْعَلْ بِیْ مَا اَنْتَ اَھْلُهٗ یَا كَرِیْمُ۔
Yaa man azharal jameela wa sataral qabeeha yaa man lam yo-aakhiz bil jareerate wa lam yahtekis sitra was-sareerate yaa a’zeemal a’fwe yaa hasanat tajaawoze yaa waa-se-a’l maghferate yaa baasetal yadayne bir-rahmate yaa saaheba kulle najwaa yaa muntahaa kulle shakwaa yaa kareemas safhe yaa a’zeemar rajaaa-e yaa sayyedee salle a’laa mohammadiwn wa aale mohammadiwn waf-a’l bee maa anta ahlohu yaa kareemo.
O He Who makes known what is good and beautiful and covers up ugliness and defects! O He Who does not demand submission under duress O He Who does not demand submission under duress O He Who does not demand submission under duress O He Who is the subtle indulgent! O He Whose forgiveness is limitless! O He Whose hands are expansive with mercy! O He Who is partner in every confidential speech! O He to Whom all complaints reach! O He Who is generous in clemency! O He in Whom all hopes are put! O my Master, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and do to me that which befits You, O All-generous!
اے وہ جواچھائی کو ظاہر کرتا اور برائی کو ڈھانپتا ہے اے وہ جو جرم پر گرفت نہیں کرتا اور نہ پردہ فاش کرتا ہے نہ چھپی باتیں ظاہر کرتا ہے اے بہت معاف کرنے والے اے بہترین درگذر کرنے والے اے بہت زیادہ بخشنے والے اے رحمت کے لئے دونوں ہاتھ کھلے رکھنے والے اے ہر راز کے راز دار اے ہر شکایت کے لئے آخری قرار گاہ اے بزرگ معاف کرنے والے اے بڑی امید گاہ اے میرے آقا محمدؐ وآل محمدؑ پر رحمت فرما اور میرے ساتھ وہ سلوک کر جو تیرےشایانِ شان ہے اے مہربان۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
