مقامِ امام سجاد (ع)
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنَّ ذُنُوْبِیْ قَدْ كَثُرَتْ وَلَمْ یَبْقَ لَھَا اِلَّا رَجَآءُ عَفْوِكَ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ اٰلَۃَ الْحِرْمَانِ اِلَیْكَ فَاَنَا اَسْئَلُكَ۔ اَللّٰھُمَّ مَا لَا اَسْتَوْجِبُهٗ وَاَطْلُبُ مِنْكَ مَا لَا اَسْتَحِقُّهٗ۔ اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنْ تُعَذِّبْنِیْ فَبِذُنُوْبِیْ وَلَمْ تَظْلِمْنِیْ شَیْئًا وَّاَنْ تَغْفِرْ لِیْ فَخَیْرُ رَاحِمٍ اَنْتَ یَا سَیِّدِیْ۔
Allaahumma inna zonoobee qad kasorat wa lam yabqa lahaa illaa rajaaa-o a’fweka wa qad qaddamto aalatal hirmaane ilaika fa-anaa as-aloka allaahumma maa laa astawjebohu wa atlobo minka maa laa astahiqqohu allaahumma in toa’zzibnee fa-bezonoobee wa lam tazlimnee shayawn wa an taghfir lee fa-khayro raahemin anta yaa sayyedee.
O Allah, my sins have been growing and nothing can stand for them except the hope in Your pardon although I have done things due to which I deserve deprivation of Your pardon. Therefore, I beseech You, O Allah, for that which I do not deserve and I seek from You that which I do not merit. O Allah, If you chastise me, then this will be on account of my sins and You shall never be unjust to me. But if You forgive me, then You are already the best of all those who show mercy, O my Master.
خدا کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان رحم والا ہے اے معبود! بے شک میرے گناہ بہت بڑھ چکے ہیں اور تیری طرف سے بخشش کی امیدکے سوا کوئی چارہ نہیں میں نے تیرے ہاں محروم رہنے کا سامان کیا پس میں سوال کرتا ہوں اس کااے معبود کہ جس کا میں اہل نہیں ہوں اور تجھ سے وہ چیز مانگتا ہوں جس کا حق دار نہیں ہوں اے معبود! اگر تو مجھے عذاب دے تو یہ میرے گناہوں کا بدلہ ہے اور یہ مجھ پر کوئی ظلم نہ ہوگا اور اگر تو مجھے بخش دے تو سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والا ہے اے میرے مالک۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ اَنْتَ اَنْتَ وَاَنَا اَنَا اَنْتَ الْعَوَّادُ بِالْمَغْفِرَۃِ وَاَنَا الْعَوَّادُ بِالذُّنُوْبِ وَاَنْتَ الْمُتَفَضِّلُ بِالْحِلْمِ وَاَنَا الْعَوَّادُ بِالْجَھْلِ۔ اَللّٰھُمَّ فَاِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُكَ یَا كَنْزَ الضُّعَفَآءِ یَا عَظِیْمَ الرَّجَآءِ یَا مُنْقِذَ الْغَرْقٰی یَا مُنْجِیَ الْھَلَكٰی یَا مُمِیْتَ الْاَحْیَآءِ یَا مُحْیِیَ الْمَوْتٰی اَنْتَ اللہُ الَّذِیْ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ اَنْتَ الَّذِیْ سَجَدَ لَكَ شُعَاعُ الشَّمْسِ وَنُوْرُ الْقَمَرِ وَظُلْمَۃُ اللَّیْلِ وَضَوْءُ النَّھَارِ وَخَفَقَانُ الطَّیْرِ۔
Allaahumma anta anta wa anaa anaa antal a’wwaado bil-maghferate wa anal a’wwaado biz-zonoobe wa antal motafazzelo bil-hilme wa anal a’wwaado bil-jahle allaahumma fa-innee as-aloka yaa kanzaz zo-a’faaa-e yaa a’zeemar rajaaa-e yaa munqezal gharqaa yaa munjeyal halakaa yaa momeetal ahyaaa-e yaa mohyeyal mawtaa antal laahul lazee laa elaaha illaa anta antal lazee sajada laka sho-a’a-u’sh shamse wa noorul qamare wa zulmatul layle wa zaw-un nahaare wa khafaqaanut tayre.
O Allah, You are what You are and I am what I am: You always return with forgiveness and I always return with sinning. You always confer with forbearance and I always return with impatience. O Allah, I do beseech You, O treasure of the weak! O He in Whom great hope is put! O rescuer of the drowned! O savior of those about to perish! O He Who cause the alive to die! O He Who causes the dead to live again! You are Allah; there is no god but You. It is You before Whom have prostrated the ray of the sun, the moonlight, the murk of night, the light of daytime, and the flapping of birds.
اے معبود! تو تو ہے اور میں میں ہوں تو بار بار بخش دینے والا ہے اور میں باربار گناہ کرنے والا ہوں توحلم کے ساتھ فضل کرنے والا اور میں نادانی سے گناہ کرنے والاہوں اے معبود! میں سوال کرتا ہوں تجھ سے اے کمزوروں کے خزانہ اے بہت امید دلانے والے اے ڈوبتوں کو بچانے والے اے تباہی سے نجات دینے والے اے زندوں کو مارنے والے اے مردوں کو زندہ کرنے والے تو وہ اللہ ہے کہ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں تو ہی ہے جس کو سورج کی کرن،چاند کی چاندنی،رات کی تاریکی،دن کی روشنی اور پرندوں کی پھڑپھڑاہٹ سجدہ کرتی ہے۔
فَاَسْئَلُكَ اَللّٰھُمَّ یَا عَظِیْمُ بِحَقِّكَ یَا كَرِیْمُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِهِ الصَّادِقِیْنَ وَبِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِهِ الصَّادِقِیْنَ عَلَیْكَ وَبِحَقِّكَ عَلٰی عَلِیٍّ وَبِحَقِّ عَلِیٍّ عَلَیْكَ وَبِحَقِّكَ عَلٰی فَاطِمَۃَ وَبِحَقِّ فَاطِمَۃَ عَلَیْكَ وَبِحَقِّكَ عَلَی الْحَسَنِ وَبِحَقِّ الْحَسَنِ عَلَیْكَ وَبِحَقِّكَ عَلَی الْحُسَیْنِ وَبِحَقِّ الْحُسَیْنِ عَلَیْكَ فَاِنَّ حُقُوْقَھُمْ مِنْ اَفْضَلِ اِنْعَامِكَ عَلَیْھِمْ۔
Fa-as-aloka allaahumma yaa a’zeemo be-haqqeka yaa kareemo a’laa mohammadiwn wa aalehis saadeqeena wa be-haqqe mohammadiwn wa aalehis saadeqeena a’laika wa be-haqqeka a’lal hasane wa be-haqqil hasane a’laika wa be haqqeka a’lal husayne wa be haqqil husayne a’laika fa-inna hoqooqahum min afzale in-a’ameka a’layhim.
I thus beseech You, O All-great, in the name of the duty of Muhammad and his veracious Household towards You, O All generous, in the name of Your duty towards Muhammad and his veracious Household, in the name of the duty of Ali towards You, in the name of Your duty towards Ali, in the name of the duty of Fatima towards You, in the name of Your duty towards Fatima, in the name of the duty of Hasan towards You, in the name of Your duty towards Hasan, in the name of the duty of Husain towards You, and in the name of Your duty towards Husain. Verily, Your duty towards them is one of the greatest blessings that You conferred upon them.
پس سوال کرتا ہوں اے معبود! اے بزرگ تر تیرے حق کے واسطے سے اے عطا کرنے والے جو محمدؐ اور ان کی سچی آلؑ پرہے اور اس حق کے واسطے جو محمدؐ اور ان کی سچی آل کا تجھ پر ہے نیز واسطہ تیرے اس حق کا جو علیؑ پر ہے اور واسطہ علیؑ کے اس حق کا جو تجھ پر ہے واسطہ تیرے حق کا جو فاطمہؑ پر ہے واسطہ فاطمہؑ کے حق کا جو تجھ پر ہے واسطہ تیرے حق کا جوحسنؑ پر ہے واسطہ حسنؑ کے حق کا جو تجھ پر ہے اور واسطہ تیرے حق کا جو حسینؑ پر ہے اور واسطہ حسینؑ کے حق کا جو تجھ پر ہے بے شک ان کے حقوق ان پر تیرے بہترین انعامات میں سے ہیں۔
وَبِالشَّاْنِ الَّذِیْ لَكَ عِنْدَھُمْ وَبِالشَّانِ الَّذِیْ لَھُمْ عِنْدَكَ صَلِّ یَا رَبِّ عَلَیْھِمْ صَلٰوۃً دَآئِمَۃً مُّنْتَھٰی رِضَاكَ وَاغْفِرْ لِیْ بِھِمُ الذُّنُوْبَ الَّتِیْ بَیْنِیْ وَبَیْنَكَ وَاَتْمِمْ نِعْمَتَكَ عَلَیَّ كَمَا اَتْمَمْتَھَا عَلٰی اٰبَآئِیْ مِنْ قَبْلُ یَا كٓھٰیٰعٓصٓ۔ اَللّٰھُمَّ كَمَا صَلَّیْتَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ فَاسْتَجِبْ لِیْ دُعَآئِیْ فِیْمَا سَئَلْتُكَ۔
Wa bish-shaanil lazee laka i’ndahum wa bish-shaanil lazee lahum i’ndaka salle yaa rabbe a’layhim salaatan daaa-ematam muntahaa razaaka wagh-fir lee behemuz zonoobal latee baynee wa baynaka wa atmim ne’mataka a’layya kamaa at-mamtahaa a’laa aabaaa-ee min qablo yaa kaaf-haa-yaa-ayn-saad allaahumma kamaa sallayta a’laa mohammadiwn wa aale mohammadin fas-tajib lee do-a’aa-ee feemaa sa-altoka.
And (I beseech You) in the name of the position that You enjoy with them and in the name of the position that they enjoy with You to (please) bless them, O Lord, with blessings that are endless until they attain Your pleasure, to forgive me, in their names, the sins that I committed concerning my duties towards You, to complete Your favors upon me in the same way as You had completed them upon my forefathers. O Allah, just as You have poured blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, (please) respond to my entreaty as regards that which I have asked from You.
واسطہ تیری اس شان کا جو ان کے نزدیک ہے اور واسطہ ان کی عزّت کا جو تیرے نزدیک ہے کہ اے پروردگاران پر رحمت نازل فرماہمیشہ ہمیشہ کی رحمت اپنی پوری کی پوری خوشنودی اور ان کے واسطے سے میرے وہ گناہ بخش دے جو میرے اور تیرے درمیان حائل ہیں اور مجھ پر اپنی نعمتیں تمام فرما جنہیں تو نے اس سے پہلے میرے بزرگوں پرتمام کیا اے کھیعص اے معبود! جس طرح تو نے رحمت نازل کی محمدؐ اور آلؑ محمدؐ پر اسی طرح میری دعا قبول فرما جو میں نے تجھ سے مانگی ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
یَا سَیِّدِیْ یَا سَیِّدِیْ یَا سَیِّدِیْ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاغْفِرْ لِیْ وَاغْفِرْ لِیْ۔
Yaa sayyedee yaa sayyedee yaa sayyedee salle a’laa mohammadiwn wa aale mohammadiwn wagh-fir lee wagh-fir lee.
O my Master! O my Master! O my Master! Bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad and forgive me, please forgive me.
اے میرے مالک! اے میرے مالک اے میرے مالک محمدؐ اور آلؑ محمدؐ پر رحمت فرما اور مجھے بخش دے مجھے بخش دے۔
Namaz of Imam-e-Sajjad (a) in Masjid-e-Kufa
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اِلٰهِيْ اِنْ كُنْتُ قَدْ عَصَيْتُكَ فَاِنِّيْ قَدْ اَطَعْتُكَ فِيْ اَحَبِّ الْاَشْيَاۗءِ اِلَيْكَ لَمْ اَتَّخِذْ لَكَ وَلَدًا وَلَمْ اَدْعُ لَكَ شَرِيْكًا وَقَدْ عَصَيْتُكَ فِيْ اَشْيَاۗءَ كَثِيْرَةٍ عَلٰى غَيْرِ وَجْهِ الْمُكَابَرَةِ لَكَ وَلَا الْاِسْتِكْبَارِ عَنْ عِبَادَتِكَ وَلَا الْجُحُوْدِ لِرُبُوْبِيَّتِكَ وَلَا الْخُرُوْجِ عَنِ (مِنَ) الْعُبُوْدِيَّةِ لَكَ وَلَكِنِ اتَّبَعْتُ هَوَايَ وَاَزَلَّنِيَ الشَّيْطَانُ بَعْدَ الْحُجَّةِ وَالْبَيَانِ فَاِنْ تُعَذِّبْنِيْ فَبِذُنُوْبِيْ غَيْرَ ظَالِمٍ اَنْتَ لِيْ وَاِنْ تَعْفُ عَنِّيْ وَتَرْحَمْنِيْ فَبِجُوْدِكَ وَكَرَمِكَ يَا كَرِيْمُ۔
Ilaahee in kunto qad a’sai-toka fa-innee qad ata’toka fee a-habbil ashyaaa-e ilaiy-ka lam atta-khiz laka wala-dan wa-lam ad-o’ laka sharee-kan wa qad a’saiy-toka fee ashyaaa-e kaseera-tin a’laa ghaire wajhil mokaa-bara-te laka wa lal istik-baare a’n e’baada-teka wa lal johoo-de le-roboo-biyyate-ka wa lal khoroo-je a’ne (minal) o’boo-diyyate laka wala-ke-nit taba’to hawaaya wa azallane-yash shaiytaano ba’dal hujjate wal bayaane fa-in to a’zzib-nee fa be-zonoo-bee ghaira zaalemin anta lee wa in ta’fo a’nnee wa tar-hamnee fa be-joode-ka wa karame-ka yaa kareem.
O Allah, if I have disobeyed you, I have also obeyed you in the things that You most like. I have not claimed that You have child and I have not associated any one with You. Yet, I have disobeyed You in many things on account of neither defiance, to arrogant too being my nor serve You, nor denial of Your Godhead, nor mutiny against my servitude to You; rather, I only followed my lusts and Satan caused me to slip although You have clear argument against me. Thus, if You chastise me, then it is on account of my sins and You are never unjust to me. And if You pardon me and have mercy upon me, then this is out of Your magnanimity and generosity, O All-generous!
میرے معبود! اگر میں نے تیری نافرمانی کی ہے تو میں نے تیری پسندیدہ چیزوں میں تیری اطاعت بھی کی ہے کہ میں نے تیرا کوئی بیٹا نہیں بنایا نہ تیرے ساتھ کسی کو پکارا ہے میں نے بہت سی چیزوں میں جو تیری نافرمانی کی ہے اس کی وجہ یہ نہیں کہ میں نے تیرے سامنے بڑائی جتائی اور نہ یہ کہ میں نے تیری عبادت سے سرکشی کی نہ تیری ربوبیت کا انکار کیا اور نہ تیری بندگی سے باہر نکلا ہوں تاہم ہوا یہ کہ میں اپنی خواہش کے پیچھے چلا مجھے شیطان نے پھسلایا جب کہ مجھ پر حجت ظاہر اور حقیقت ظاہر تھی پس اگر تو مجھے عذاب کرے تو وہ میرے گناہوں کا بدلہ ہے مجھ پر ظلم نہیں اگر تو مجھے معاف کردے اور مجھ پر رحم کرے تو یہ تیرا لطف وکرم ہوگا اے کریم۔
غَدَوْتُ بِحَوْلِ اللهِ وَقُوَّتِهٖ غَدَوْتُ بِغَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِّنِّيْ وَلَا قُوَّةٍ وَلَكِنْ بِحَوْلِ اللهِ وَقُوَّتِهٖ يَا رَبِّ اَسْئَلُكَ بَرَكَةَ هٰذَا الْبَيْتِ وَبَرَكَةَ اَهْلِهٖ وَاَسْئَلُكَ اَنْ تَرْزُقَنِيْ رِزْقًا حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا تَسُوْقُهٗ اِلَيَّ بِحَوْلِكَ وَقُوَّتِكَ وَاَنَا خَاۗئِضٌ (خَافِضٌ) فِيْ عَافِيَتِكَ۔
Gha-dawto be-haw-lil laahe wa quwwate-hi gha-dawto be-ghaire haw-lim minnee walaa quwwa-tin wala-kin be-haw-lil laahe wa quwwate-hi yaa rabbe as-aloka be-rakata haazal baiyte wa barakata ahle-hi wa as-aloka an tar-zukanee rizqan halaa-lan taiyye-ban tasooko-hu ilaiyya be-hawle-ka wa quwwate-ka wa anaa (khaaa-e-zun) fee aa’fe-yatek.
I begin this day with the might and power of Allah. I do not begin it with my might or power; rather, with Allah’s might and power. O my Lord, I beseech You for the blessing of this house and the blessing of its people and I pray You to grant me sustenance from Your sustenance; sustenance that is legal and pleasant, and that You bring it to me by Your might and Power, while I experience good health.
میں نے خدا کی طاقت اور قوت سے صبح کی میں نے اپنی طاقت وقوت کے بغیر صبح نہیں کی بلکہ اللہ کی طاقت اور قوت سے اے پروردگار تجھ سے مانگتاہوں اس گھر کی برکت اور یہاں رہنے والوں کی برکت اور سوال کرتا ہوں کہ تو مجھے حلال اور پاکیزہ رزق دے اور اسے میری طرف اپنی طاقت وقوت سے پہنچا دے تاکہ میں امن و سکون سے رہوں۔
یَا مَنْ یَّقْدِرُ عَلٰی حَوَآئِجِ السَّآئِلِیْنَ وَیَعْلَمُ مَا فِیْ ضَمِیْرِ الصَّامِتِیْنَ یَا مَنْ لَا یَحْتَاجُ اِلَی التَّفْسِیْرِ یَا مَنْ یَعْلَمُ خَائِنَۃَ الْاَعْیُنِ وَمَا تُخْفِیْ الصُّدُوْرُ یَا مَنْ اَنْزَلَ الْعَذَابَ عَلٰی قَوْمِ یُوْنُسَ وَهُوَ یُرِیْدُ اَنْ یُّعَذِّبَھُمْ فَدَعَوْهُ وَتَضَرَّعُوْا اِلَیْهِ فَكَشَفَ عَنْھُمُ الْعَذَابَ وَمَتَّعَھُمْ اِلٰی حِیْنٍ قَدْ تَرٰی مَكَانِیْ وَتَسْمَعُ دُعَآئِیْ وَتَعْلَمُ سِرِّیْ وَعَلَانِیَتِیْ وَحَالِیْ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّاكْفِنِیْ مَا اَھَمَّنِیْ مِنْ اَمْرِ دِیْنِیْ وَدُنْیَایَ وَاٰخِرَتِیْ۔
Yaa man yaqdero a'laa hawaaa-ejis saaa-eleena wa ya'lamo maa fee zameeris saameteena yaa man laa yahtaajo elat tafseere yaa man ya'lamo khaa-enatal a-a'yone wa maa tukhfis sodooro yaa man anzalal a'zaaba a'laa qawme yoonosa wa howa yoreedo ayn yo-a'zzebahum fa-da-a'who wa tazarra-o'o elayhe fa-kashafa a'nhomul a'zaaba wa matta-a'hum ilaa heenin qad taraa makaani wa tas-ma-o' do-a'aa-ee wa ta'lamo sirree wa a'laaneyatee wa haalee salle a'laa mohammadiwn wa aale mohammadiwn wak-fenee maa ahammanee min amre deenee wa dunyaaya wa aakheratee.
O He Who has full power over settling requests of beseechers Who knows what is hidden in the inner selves of the silent O He Who does not require explanation. O He Who knows the stealthy looks and that which the breasts conceal. O He Who decided chastisement to befall the people of (Prophet) Jonah and as He decided to chastise them, they prayed Him and besought Him; so, He removed from them the chastisement and He gave them provision until a time. You do see where I am, You do hear my prayer, You do know what I conceal, what I declare, and in what situation I am: (please) send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad, and relieve me from all that which has aggrieved me from the affairs of my religion, my worldly life, and my Next Life.
اےوہ جو مانگنے والوں کی حاجت پر قادر ہے اور خاموش رہنے والوں کے مدعا کو جانتا ہے اے وہ جسے تفصیل کی کچھ حاجت نہیں اے وہ جو آنکھوں کی خیانت کو اور دلوں کی باتوں کو جانتا ہے اے وہ جس نے قوم ِیونس ؑکے لئے عذاب آمادہ کیا کہ وہ ان پر عذاب کی دعا کر چکے تھے پس انہوں نے اسے پکارا اورگریہ و زاری کی تو اس نے ان پر سےعذاب ٹال دیا اور انہیں کچھ مدت تک زندگی دی تومجھے کھڑا دیکھ رہا ہے میری پکار سن رہا ہے میرے اندر باہر کو اور میرے حالات کو جانتا ہے محمدؐ وآلؑ محمدؐ پر رحمت فرما اور میری مدد کر ان مشکلوں میں جو مجھے دین و دنیا اورآخرت میں در پیش ہیں۔
یَا سَیَّدِیْ۔
Yaa sayyadee
O my Master.
اے میرے مولا!
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
