Uncle of Holy Prophet (s)
Fakhrul Mohaqqeqeen has written in ’Fakhriyah’: The Ziyarat of Hazrat Hamza (r) and other Martyrs of Ohod is recommended in Ohod. It is narrated from the Holy Prophet (s) that he (s) said, One who does my Ziyarat but does not do the Ziyarat of my uncle, angers me.”
مؤلف کہتے ہیں : جناب حمزہؑ کے اوصاف اور ان کی زیارت کی فضیلت بہت زیادہ ہے جو بیان نہیں کی جاسکتی۔فخر المحققینؒ نے رسالۂ فخریہ میں فرمایا :حضرت حمزہؑ اور أحد کے دیگر شہداء کی زیارت کرنا مستحب ہے کیوں کہ حضرت رسولؐ سے روایت ہوئی ہے کہ فرمایا : جو شخص میری زیارت کرے اور میرے چچا حمزہؑ کی زیارت کو نہ جائے تو گویا اس نے مجھ پر ظلم کیا۔
Shaykh Mufeed writes that the Prophet (s) has ordered us to perform the Ziyarat of the grave of Hazrat Hamza (a). The Prophet (s) himself used to accord importance to the Ziyarat of Hazrat Hamza (a) and other martyrs. After the passing away of the Messenger of Allah (s), Hazrat Fatema Zahra (s) used to regularly perform the Ziyarat of their graves. In the lifetime of the Holy Prophet (s) it had become a practice (Sunnat) for the Muslims to go for the Ziyarat of the Prophet’s uncle.
شیخ مفیدؒ نے فرمایا: حضرت رسولؐ نے اپنی حیات میں حضرت حمزہؑ کی قبر کی زیارت کا حکم دیااور خود بھی آپ کی اور دیگر شہداء أحد کی زیارت کرتے رہے،آنحضرتؐ کی وفات کے بعد سیدہ فاطمہؑ حضرت حمزہؑ کی قبر پر جاتی تھیں اور دوسرے مسلمان بھی آپ کی زیارت کرتے اور قبر پر حاضر ہوتے تھے۔
In other tradition, it is mentioned that she (s) used to perform namaz there. The number of martyrs of Ohod is approximately 70. Amongst them are Hazrat Hamza, Abdullah bin Jahash, Musa’b bin Omair, Ammaar bin Ziyad and Shammaas bin Usmaan. When you go for the Ziyarat of Hazrat Hamza (r), recite it as follows…
نیز اس حقیر نے’’ بیت الاحزان فی مصائب سیدۃ النسوان ‘‘میں نقل کیا ہے کہ حضرت رسولؐ کے انتقال کے بعد حضرت فاطمہؑ ہر ہفتے میں دوشنبہ اور جمعرات کو حضرت حمزہؑ اور دیگر شہداء احد کی زیارت کو جاتیں وہاں نماز پڑھتیں اور دعا مانگتیں حتیٰ کہ اپنی شہادت تک ایسا ہی کرتی رہیں۔ محمود ابن لبید نے بیان کیا : سیدہ جلیلہ حضرت حمزہؑ کی قبر کے سرہانے کھڑے ہو کر گریہ فرمایا کرتی تھیں ایک روز جو میں حضرت حمزہؑ کی زیارت کو گیا تو میں نے دیکھا کہ وہ معظمہ حضرت حمزہؑ کی قبر پر گریہ کر رہی ہیں۔ اس کے بعد قبلہ رُخ ہو کر دو رکعت نمازِ زیارت پڑھے۔پھر رسولؐ کے چچا حضرت حمزہؑ کی قبرِ مبارک سے لپٹ کر کہے۔۔۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا عَمَّ رَسُوْلِ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا خَیْرَ الشُّھْدَآئِ۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكَ یَا اَسَدَ اللہِ وَاَسَدَ رَسُوْلِہٖ۔
اَشْھَدُ اَنَّكَ قَدْ جَاھَدْتَ فِیْ اللہِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَجُدْتَ بِنَفْسِكَ وَنَصَحْتَ رَسُوْلَ اللہِ وَكُنْتَ فِیْمَا عِنْدَ اللہِ سُبْحَانَہٗ رَاغِبًا بِاَبِیْ اَنْتَ وَاُمِّیْ اَتَیْتُكَ مُتَقَرِّبًا اِلٰی رَسُوْلِ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ بِذٰلِكَ رَاغِبًا اِلَیْكَ فِی الشَّفَاعَۃِ اَبْتَغِیْ بِزِیَارَتِكَ خَلَاصَ نَفْسِیْ مُتَعَوِّذًا بِكَ مِنْ نَارٍ اسْتَحَقَّھَا مِثْلِیْ بِمَا جَنَیْتُ عَلٰی نَفْسِیْ ھَارِبًا مِّنْ ذُنُوْبِیَ الَّتِیْ احْتَطَبْتُھَا عَلٰی ظَھْرِیْ فَزِعًا اِلَیْكَ رَجَآئَ رَحْمَۃِ رَبِّیْ اَتَیْتُكَ مِنْ شُقَّۃٍ بَعِیْدَۃٍ طَالِبًا فَكَاكَ رَقَبَتِیْ مِنَ النَّارِ وَقَدْ اَوْقَرَتْ ظَھْرِیْ ذُنُوْبِیْ وَاَتَیْتُ مَا اَسْخَطَ رَبِّیْ وَلَمْ اَجِدْ اَحَدًا اَفْزَعُ اِلَیْہِ خَیْرًا لِیْ مِنْكُمْ اَھْلَ بَیْتِ الرَّحْمَۃِ فَكُنْ لِیْ شَفِیْعًا یَوْمَ فَقْرِیْ وَحَاجَتِیْ فَقَدْ سِرْتُ اِلَیْكَ مَحْزُوْنًا وَاَتَیْتُكَ مَكْرُوْبًا وَسَكَبْتُ عَبْرَتِیْ عِنْدَكَ بَاكِیًا وَصِرْتُ اِلَیْكَ مُفْرَدًا وَاَنْتَ مِمَّنْ اَمَرَنِیَ اللہُ بِصِلَتِہٖ وَحَثَّنِیْ عَلٰی بِرِّہٖ وَدَلَّنِیْ عَلٰی فَضْلِہٖ وَھَدَانِیْ لِحُبِّہٖ وَرَغَّبَنِیْ فِیْ الْوِفَادَۃِ اِلَیْہِ وَاَلْھَمَنِیْ طَلَبَ الْحَوَآئِجِ عِنْدَہٗ اَنْتُمْ اَھْلُ بَیْتٍ لَا یَشْقٰی مَنْ تَوَلَّاكُمْ وَلَا یَخِیْبُ مَنْ اَتَاكُمْ وَلَا یَخْسَرُ مَنْ یَھْوٰیكُمْ وَلَا یَسْعَدُ مَنْ عَادَاكُمْ۔
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa 'amma rasooli allaahi sallaa allaahu 'alayhi wa-aalih.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa khayra ash-shuhdaa'.
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa asada allaahi wa-asada rasoolih.
Ashhadu annaka qad jaahadta fee allaahi 'azza wajalla wajudta binafsika wanasahta rasoola allaahi wakunta feemaa 'inda allaahi subhaanahoo raaghiban bi-abee anta wa-ummee ataytuka mutaqarriban ilaa rasooli allaahi sallaa allaahu 'alayhi wa-aalihee bizaalika raaghiban ilayka fee ash-shafaa'ati abtaghee biziyaaratika khalaasa nafsee muta'awwizan bika min naarin istahaqqahaa mithlee bimaa janaytu 'alaa nafsee haariban min zunoobiya allatee ihtatabtuhaa 'alaa zahree fazi'an ilayka rajaa'a rahmati rabbee ataytuka min shuqqatin ba'eedatin taaliban fakaaka raqabatee mina an-naari waqad awqarat zahree zunoobee wa-ataytu maa askhata rabbee walam ajid ahadan afza'u ilayhi khayran lee minkum ahla bayti ar-rahmati fakun lee shafee'an yawma faqree wahaajatee faqad sirtu ilayka mahzoonan wa-ataytuka makrooban wasakabtu 'abratee 'indaka baakiyan wasirtu ilayka mufradan wa-anta mimman amaraniya allaahu bisilatihee wahaththanee 'alaa birrihee wadallanee 'alaa fadlihee wahadaanee lihubbihee waraghghabanee fee al-wifaadati ilayhi wal-hamanee talaba al-hawaa'iji 'indahoo antum ahlu baytin laa yashqaa man tawallaakum walaa yakheebu man ataakum walaa yakhsaru man yahwaakum walaa yas'adu man 'aadaakum.
Peace be upon you O uncle of the Prophet of Allah peace be upon him and his family; Peace be upon you O best of the martyrs; Peace be upon you O lion of Allah and the lion of His Prophet. I bear witness that you fought for Allah, the Most Mighty and Glorious and you exerted yourself and advised the Prophet of Allah and desired (the rewards) available through Allah the Most Glorious. May my father and mother be sacrificed for you. I have come to you seeking nearness to the Prophet of Allah peace be upon him and his family; through that desiring from (your) intercession; seeking from my visiting you freedom of myself and seeking refuge, through you, from the fire; those like me deserve it for the wrong I have done to myself. (I come) fleeing from my sins which I have committed; fleeing to you hoping for the mercy of My Lord; I have come to you from a distant land seeking freedom from the fire, my back is loaded with my sins. I have committed what angers my Lord. I did not find anyone more worthy to flee to than you, the Ahlul-Bayt of mercy, so be my intercessors on the day of my poverty and need. I have traveled to you in a sad state and in distress. I shed tears in front of you, crying I have come to you lonely; you are amongst those whom Allah has commanded to join with and has urged me towards piety and guided me to His grace and love; He urged me to come to you and inspired me to ask my needs to Him; You are the Ahlul-Bayt, no one who befriends you is miserable; one who comes to you is not disappointed and one who is inclined towards You does not lose nor does one who shows enmity towards you become happy.
سلام ہو آپ پر اے حضرت رسولؐ کے چچا سلام ہو آپ پر اے شہداءمیں بہترین، سلام ہوآپ پر اے اللہ کے شیر اور اس کے رسولؐ کے شیر میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ آپ نے راہِ خدا میں جہاد کیا اپنی جان کی قربانی پیش کی خدا کے رسولؐ کی خیر خواہی فرمائی اور آپ خدا کے ہاں جو اجر تھا اس کی طرف راغب ہوئے میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان۔ میں آپ کی بارگاہ میں حضرت رسولؐ کی قربت کے لئے آیا ہوں اس طر ح میں متوجہ ہوا ہوں آپ کی طرف شفاعت کے لیے کہ آپ کی زیارت کے ذریعے اپنی حفاظت کے واسطے آپ کی پناہ حاصل کروں اس آگ سے جو میرے لئے یقینی ہو چکی ہے اس ستم کے بدلے جو میں نے خود پر کیا۔ اپنے ان گناہوں سے بھاگا ہوں جو میں نے اپنی پشت پر اٹھا رکھے ہیں اپنے رب کی رحمت کی امید میں آپ کے پاس گھبرایا ہوا آیا ہوں اپنی گردن آگ سے چھڑانے کے لئے دور دراز کا سفر کرکے آپ کے پاس آکرکھڑا ہوں جب کہ اپنے گناہوں کا بار میری پشت پر ہے اور میں وہ لایا ہوں جس سے میرا رب ناراض ہے میں کسی کو نہیں پاتا کہ اس سے فریاد کروں جو میرے لئے آپ اہل بیتِؑ رحمت سے بہتر ہو پس آپ فقر و حاجت کے دن میری شفاعت کرنے والے بن جائیں کہ میں محزون ورنجیدہ ہو کرآپ کے پاس آیا اور کرب و غم کے عالم میں آپ کے حضور آیا۔ اور آپ کی خدمت میں آکر میں نے بے بسی میں آنسو بہائے ہیں میں سب کو چھوڑ کر آپ کی طرف چلا آیا ہوں اور آپ وہ ہیں جن سے وابستہ ہونے کا خدا نے مجھے حکم دیا جن سے اچھائی کی ترغیب دی جن کی فضیلت سے مجھے آگاہ کیا جن سے محبت رکھنے کی ہدایت کی جن کی طرف آنے کا شوق دلایا جن کی قربت میں طلبِ حاجات کرنے کی تعلیم دی اے نبیؐ کے اہلِ خاندان آپ لوگوں کا چاہنے والا بد بخت نہیں ہے جو آپ کے پاس آئے وہ ناکام نہیں ہے جوآپ سے محبت رکھے اسے نقصان نہیں ہے جو آپ کا دشمن ہو اسے کامیابی نہیں ملتی ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
Then face the Qibla and perform 2 rakat Namaz of Ziyarat and then recite the following dua Allahumma inni ta’arrazto.
اس کے بعد قبلہ رُخ ہوکر ۲ رکعت نمازِ زیارت پڑھے۔پھر رسولؐ کےچچاحضرت حمزہؑ کی قبر مبارک سے لپٹ کر دعا اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ تَعَرَّضْتُ کہے۔
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

اَللّٰہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ تَعَرَّضْتُ لِرَحْمَتِكَ بِلُزُوْمِیْ لِقَبْرِ عَمِّ نَبِیِّكَ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَآلِہٖ لِیُجِیْرَنِیْ مِنْ نِقْمَتِكَ وَسَخَطِكَ وَمَقْتِكَ فِیْ یَوْمٍ تَكْثُرُ فِیْہِ الْاَصْوَاتُ وَتَشْغَلُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ وَتُجَادِلُ عَنْ نَفْسِہَا۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
Allaahumma innee ta'arradtu lirahmatika biluzoomee liqabri 'ammi nabiyyika sallaa allaahu 'alayhi wa-aalihee liyujeeranee min niqmatika wasakhatika wamaqtika fee yawmin takthuru feehi al-aswaatu watashghalu kullu nafsin bimaa qaddamat watujaadilu 'an nafsihaa.
O Allah! Bless Muhammad and his Ahle Bayt (a.s). O Allah! I have exposed myself to Your Mercy by clinging to the grave of the Uncle of Your Prophet, may Your blessings be on him and his Ahle Bayt (a.s), so that You protect me against Your wrath, vengeance and dislike; and save me from slipping on the day when there will be much clamor and humiliation, and every soul will be busy with what it has brought forward, and every soul will try to defend itself only.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل کر محمدؐ و آل محمدؑ پراے معبود! میں تیری رحمت کی خواہش لے کر تیرے نبیؐ کے چچاؑ کی قبر مبارک کے ساتھ لپٹا ہوا ہوں تاکہ مجھ کو اس روز تیرے عذاب سے پناہ ملے جس میں ہر طرف چیخ و پکار ہو گی اور ہر شخص اپنے کیے ہوئے اعمال میں گھرا ہوا اپنے آپ کو ملامت کر رہا ہو گااور فقط اپنا دفاع کر رہا ہو گا۔
فَاِنْ تَرْحَمْنِیْ الْیَوْمَ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَیَّ وَلَا حُزْنَ وَاِنْ تُعَاقِبْ فَمَوْلًی لَہُ الْقُدْرَۃُ عَلٰی عَبْدِہٖ وَلَا تُخَیِّبْنِیْ بَعْدَ الْیَوْمِ وَلَا تَصْرِفْنِیْ بِغَیْرِ حَاجَتِیْ فَقَدْ لَصِقْتُ بِقَبْرِ عَمِّ نَبِیِّكَ وَتَقَرَّبْتُ بِہٖ اِلَیْكَ ابْتِغَآئَ مَرْضَاتِكَ وَرَجَآئَ رَحْمَتِكَ فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّیْ وَعُدْ بِحِلْمِكَ عَلٰی جَہْلِیْ وَبِرَاْفَتِكَ عَلٰی جِنَایَۃِ نَفْسِیْ۔
Fa-in tarhamnee al-yawma falaa khawfun 'alayya walaa huzna wa-in tu'aaqib famawlan lahu al-qudratu 'alaa 'abdihee walaa tukhayyibnee ba'da al-yawmi walaa tasrifnee bighayri haajatee faqad lasiqtu biqabri 'ammi nabiyyika wataqarrabtu bihee ilayka ibtighaa'a mardaatika warajaa'a rahmatika fataqabbal minnee wa'ud bihilmika 'alaa jahlee wabira'fatika 'alaa jinaayati nafsee.
O Allah! If You include me in Your Mercy today, I shall not have any fear or grief. But if You decide to punish me, You are my Lord having power over His servant. O Allah! Do not disappoint me today and do not return me without fulfilling my needs, for I am clinging to the grave of the uncle of Your Prophet and I am seeking nearness to You through Him. I seek Your pleasure and hope for Your Mercy. So accept this from me and turn with Your patience to my ignorance and with Your kindness to the crimes I committed against myself.
پس اگر آج تو مجھ پر رحم فرمائے تو مجھے نہ خوف ہو گا نہ غم اور اگر سزا دے گا تو بھی مولا و مالک کو اپنے غلام پر اختیار حاصل ہے اور آج کے بعد مجھ کو نا امید نہ کر اور حاجات پوری کیے بغیر نہ پلٹا کیوں کہ میں تیرے نبیؐ کے چچا کی قبر سے لپٹا ہوا ہوں اور ان کے ذریعے تیرے قریب ہوا ہوں تیری خوشنودی کی جستجو اور تیری رحمت کی امید کرتا ہوں پس میری زیارت قبول فرمامیرے جہل پر نرمی اور میرے خود پر کیے ہوئے ستم پر مہربانی سے کام لے۔
فَقَدْ عَظُمَ جُرْمِیْ وَمَا اَخَافُ اَنْ تَظْلِمَنِیْ وَلٰكِنْ اَخَافُ سُوْئَ الْحِسَابِ فَانْظُرِ الْیَوْمَ تَقَلُّبِیْ عَلٰی قَبْرِ عَمِّ نَبِیِّكَ فَبِہِمَا فُكَّنِیْ مِنَ النَّارِ وَلَا تُخَیِّبْ سَعْیِیْ وَلَا یَہُوْنَنَّ عَلَیْكَ ابْتِہَالِیْ وَلَا تَحْجُبَنَّ عَنْكَ صَوْتِیْ وَلَا تَقْلِبْنِیْ بِغَیْرِ حَوَآئِجِیْ۔
Faqad 'azuma jurmee wamaa akhaafu an tazlimanee walaakin akhaafu soo'a al-hisaabi fanzuri al-yawma taqallubee 'alaa qabri 'ammi nabiyyika fabihimaa fukkanee mina an-naari walaa tukhayyib sa'yee walaa yahoonanna 'alayka ibtihaalee walaa tahjubanna 'anka sawtee walaa taqlibnee bighayri hawaa'ijee.
Indeed my sins are great. I don’t fear that You will oppress me; rather I fear a terrible reckoning. So take into consideration my restlessness on the grave of the uncle of Your Prophet may Your blessings be upon Muhammad and his Ahle Bayt (a.s) and release me from hell through them. Don’t waste my efforts; do not disgrace my invocation; do not prevent my voice from reaching You; and do not return me without fulfilling my needs.
گویا میرا جرم بڑا ہے مجھے خوف نہیں کہ تو مجھ پر ظلم کرے گا لیکن حساب کی سختی سے ڈرتا ہوں پس یہ دیکھ کہ آج میں تیرے نبیؐ کے چچا کی قبر پر تڑپ رہا ہوں تو ان دونوں کے واسطے سےمجھے آگ سے آزاد فرما اور میری یہ کوشش ناکام نہ کر اپنے حضور میری گریہ وزاری کو ناچیز نہ بنا میری پکار کو خود تک پہنچنے سے نہ روک اور مجھے بغیر حاجت پوری کیے نہ پلٹا۔
یَا غِیَاثَ كُلِّ مَكْرُوْبٍ وَمَحْزُوْنٍ وَیَا مُفَرِّجًا عَنِ الْمَلْہُوْفِ الْحَیْرَانِ الْغَرِیْقِ الْمُشْرِفِ عَلَی الْہَلَكَۃِ فَصَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَانْظُرْ اِلَیَّ نَظْرَۃً لَا اَشْقٰی بَعْدَہَا اَبَدًا وَارْحَمْ تَضَرُّعِیْ وَعَبْرَتِیْ وَانْفِرَادِیْ فَقَدْ رَجَوْتُ رِضَاكَ وَتَحَرَّیْتُ الْخَیْرَ الَّذِیْ لَا یُعْطِیْہِ اَحَدٌ سِوَاكَ فَلَا تَرُدَّ اَمَلِیْ۔
Yaa ghiyaatha kulli makroobin wamahzoonin wayaa mufarrijan 'ani al-malhoofi al-hayraani al-ghareeqi al-mushrifi 'alaa al-halakati fasalli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammadin wanzur ilayya nazratan laa ashqaa ba'dahaa abadan warham tadarru'ee wa'abratee wanfiraadee faqad rajawtu ridaaka wataharraytu al-khayra allazee laa yu'teehi ahadun siwaaka falaa tarudda amalee.
O savior of every grief-stricken and distressed! O one who comforts the heart-broken, the perplexed and the stranger on the verge of death! Bless Muhammad and his purified Ahle Bayt (a.s) and look at me in a way that it prevents me from wretchedness. O Allah! Have mercy on me through my invocation and through my loneliness, for I have hoped to earn Your pleasure and I am seeking the good that cannot be given by anyone other than You. So don’t dash my hope.
اے ہر مصیبت زدہ اور غمگین کے فریاد رس اے ہر دکھ کے مارے پریشان حال ڈوبے ہوئے ہلاکت میں پڑے ہوئے کو ان سختیوں سے نکالنے والے پس محمدؐ و آل محمدؑ پر رحمت فرما اور مجھ پر ایسی نظر فرما کہ اس کے بعد کبھی بد بختی میں نہ پڑوںمیرے آہ و نالہ اور میری بے کسی پر رحم فرما کہ میں تیری رضا کی امید رکھتا ہوں اور اس بھلائی کا طالب ہوں جو سوائے تیرے کوئی نہیں عطا کرتا پس میری آس نہ توڑ۔
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنْ تُعَاقِبْ فَمَوْلًی لَہُ الْقُدْرَۃُ عَلٰی عَبْدِہٖ وَجَزَآئِہٖ بِسُوْئِ فِعْلِہٖ فَلَا اَخِیْبَنَّ الْیَوْمَ وَلَا تَصْرِفْنِیْ بِغَیْرِ حَاجَتِیْ وَلَا تُخَیِّبَنَّ شُخُوْصِیْ وَ وِفَادَتِیْ فَقَدْ اَنْفَدْتُ نَفَقَتِیْ وَاَتْعَبْتُ بَدَنِیْ وَقَطَعْتُ الْمَفَازَاتِ۔
Allaahumma in tu'aaqib famawlan lahu al-qudratu 'alaa 'abdihee wajazaa'ihee bisoo'i fi'lihee falaa akheebanna al-yawma walaa tasrifnee bighayri haajatee walaa tukhayyibanna shukhoosee wa wifaadatee faqad anfadtu nafaqatee wa-at'abtu badanee waqata'tu al-mafaazaat.
O Allah! If You punish (me), then (You are) a Master who has power over His servant and over requiting him for his evil deed. So let me not be disappointed today, and do not turn me away without (fulfilling) my need, and do not let my setting out and my coming (to You) be in vain, for I have spent all my provisions, wearied my body and crossed the deserts.
اے معبود! اگر تو سزا دے تو وہ با اختیار مالک کی طرف سے اپنے غلام کی برائی کا بدلہ ہے پس آج مجھے محروم و ناکام نہ فرما اور مجھ کو حاجت روائی کے بغیر نہ پلٹا میرے یہاں آنے اور حاضر ہو نے کو بیکار نہ بنا کیوں کہ میں اپنا زادِ راہ (سامانِ سفر)خرچ کر چکا تنگی و سختی اٹھائی اور بیابانوں میں سے گزرا ہوں۔
وَخَلَّفْتُ الْاَہْلَ وَالْمَالَ وَمَا خَوَّلْتَنِیْ وَآثَرْتُ مَا عِنْدَكَ عَلٰی نَفْسِیْ وَلُذْتُ بِقَبْرِ عَمِّ نَبِیِّكَ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَآلِہٖ وَتَقَرَّبْتُ بِہِ ابْتِغَآئَ مَرْضَاتِكَ فَعُدْ بِحِلْمِكَ عَلٰی جَہْلِیْ وَبِرَافَتِكَ عَلٰی ذَنْبِیْ فَقَدْ عَظُمَ جُرْمِیْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ یَا كَرِیْمُ یَا كَرِیْمُ۔
Wakhallaftu al-ahla wal-maala wamaa khawwaltanee wa-aathartu maa 'indaka 'alaa nafsee waluztu biqabri 'ammi nabiyyika sallaa allaahu 'alayhi wa-aalihee wataqarrabtu bihi ibtighaa'a mardaatika fa'ud bihilmika 'alaa jahlee wabiraafatika 'alaa zanbee faqad 'azuma jurmee birahmatika yaa kareemu yaa kareem.
And I have left behind (my) family and wealth and what You have granted me, and preferred what is with You over myself, and sought refuge at the grave of the uncle of Your Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, and sought nearness (to You) through him, seeking Your pleasure. So bestow Your forbearance upon my ignorance, and Your kindness upon my sin, for my offence has become great; (I ask You) by Your mercy, O Generous One, O Generous One.
میں اپنے اہل و عیال اور سامان اور جو تو نے دیا پیچھے چھوڑ آیا اور اپنے لئے وہ پسند کیا جو تیرے قبضہ میں ہے اب تیرے نبیؐ کے چچاکی قبرکی پناہ لئے ہوئے تیری قربت چاہی اور اس کے ذریعے تیری رضائیں طلب کرتا ہوں پس اپنی نرمی کے ذریعے میری نادانی سے اور اپنی مہربانی کے سبب میرے گناہ سے درگزر کر کہ میرا جرم بہت بڑا ہے واسطہ ہے تیری رحمت کا اے مہربان اے مہربان۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
پھر شہداء احد کی زیارت پڑھے۔
