Mid of Shaban
The Holy Prophet (s) had said that during the night of 15th Shaban the Almighty takes decisions in the matters of sustenance, life and death and welfare of the people. Next to the “Night of Qadr” the night of 15th Sha’ban is the most auspicious night. According to the Imams Baqir (a) and Ja’far Sadiq (a) Allah (swt) has promised to fulfill every legitimate desire put forward to Him tonight. Of the blessings of this night is that, at the dawn of this night, was born the Leader of the Time Imam Mahdi (a) in Samarra -Iraq in the year 255 AH. Almighty Allah has chosen this night for the Ahl ul-Bayt, in the same way as He has chosen the Qadr Night for our Prophet (s).
اس رات کی عظیم بشارت سلطانِ عصر حضرت امام مہدی(عج)کی ولادت باسعادت ہے جو ۲۵۵ھ میں بوقت صبحِ صادق سامرہ میں ہوئی جس سے اس رات کو فضیلت نصیب ہوئی۔
Hadith has confirmed that as for one who spends this whole night with acts of worship, his heart will not die when other hearts die. The Holy Prophet said; that at this night, shares of provisions are distributed, lifetimes are decided, and the pilgrims are appointed. Verily, Almighty Allah, at this night, forgives as many of His creatures as the hairs of the horses of Kalb Tribe. Almighty Allah also orders angels to descend to the earth, to Makkah, at this night.

Abu Yahya narrates from Imam Sadiq (a) that Imam Baqir (a) was questioned about the attributes of the eve of 15th Shaban, his holiness replied: After the nights of Qadr, the eve of 15th Shaban is the most virtuous of all nights. In this night, the Almighty Allah showers His grace and mercy upon His slaves and forgives for His honor. One should make effort to seek the nearness of Allah in this night because it is a night in which the Almighty has made obligatory upon Himself and has promised that He will not reject the request of any requestor except those requests that are for a sinful or forbidden act. It is a night which has been made specific by the Almighty Allah for us, the Holy Progeny, like He has made the nights of Qadr specific for His Prophets (s). Therefore, strive to supplicate and praise Allah (swt) because whoever exalts Him 100 times each zikr on this eve, i.e. “SUBHAN-ALLAAH”, “AL-HAMDU-LILLAAH” and “ALLAAHU AKBAR”, Allah forgives all His past sins and blesses His slaves from His mercy and grace by fulfilling all His desires of this world and the Hereafter, which he wishes for and the ones which he is in need of but doesn’t wish for them.
ابو یحیٰ نے امام صادق سے روایت کی ہے اس نے امام باقر سے کہ ۱۵ شعبان کی رات کی فضیلت کے بارے میں سوال ہوا تو حضرت نے فرمایا نیمہ شعبان کی رات شب قدر کے بعد سب سے افضل ترین رات ہے اس رات خداوند اپنا فضل اپنے بندوں کو عطا کرتاہے ان پر احسان کرتاہے اور بخشش دیتاہے اس بناء پر اس رات خدا سے قرب حاصل کرنے کی کوشش کرو چونکہ خدا نے اپنی ذات کی قسم کھائی ہے کہ اس رات کسی سائل کو رد نہیں کرے گا جب تک خدا سے کسی معصیت کا سوال نہ کرے یہ وہ رات ہے کہ خداوند تعالیٰ نے اس کو ہم اھلبیت کے لئے قرار دیا ہے شب قدر کے برابر کہ اس کو پیغمبر کے لئے قراردیا ہے پس اس رات خدا سے دعا کی کوشش کرو چونکہ جو بھی اس رات سو مرتبہ تسبیح پڑھے سوبار حمد پڑھے ۱۰۰ مرتبہ تکبیر کہے تو خداوند تعالیٰ ان کے گذشتہ گناہوں کو بخشتا ہے اور دنیا اور آخرت کی حاجتوں کو اسی طرح وہ حاجتیں کہ جن کا محتاج ہے لیکن خدا سے طلب نہیں کیا ہے یہ بھی خدا کے فضل سے عطا کرتاہے۔ ابو یحییٰ کہتاہے کہ میں نے امام صادق سے عرض کیا دعاؤں میں سے کس دعاء میں زیادہ فضیلت ہے حضرت نے فرمایا جب بھی نماز عشا پڑھ لیں تو دو رکعت نماز پڑھ لیں پہلی رکعت میں سورہ حمد اور سورة قل یا ایھا الکافرون اور دوسری رکعت میں سورہ حمد اور سورہ قل ھو اللہ احد کو پڑھے نماز کے بعد ۳۳ مرتبہ سبحان اللہ ۳۳ مرتبہ الحمد للہ اور ۳۴ مرتبہ کہو اللہ اکبر اس وقت کہو ۱۵۱ یا من الیہ اس کے بعد سجدہ میں بیس مرتبہ یا رب یا اللہ کہو اور سات مرتبہ کہو لا حول ولا قوة الّا باللّٰه اور دس مرتبہ کہو ماشاء اللہ اور دس مرتبہ کہو لا قوة الّا باللّٰہ اس کے بعد درود بھیجیں اور اللہ سے اپنی حاجت مانگیں خداوند تعالیٰ اپنے فضل و کرم سے اس کو عطا کرے گا۔
After Namaz-e-Isha recite 15th Eve Namaz of Shaban-1.
آج رات نماز عشاء کے بعد نماز ۱۵؍ شعبان کی رات۔۱ پڑھے۔
Recite 100 times…
یہ تسبیحات ۱۰۰ مرتبہ پڑھے تا کہ حق تعالیٰ اس کے پچھلے گناہ معاف کردے اور دنیا وآخرت کی حاجات پوری فرما ئے۔۔۔
سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلہِ وَلَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ وَاللہُ اَكْبَرُ۔
Subhaana allaahi wal-hamdu lillaahi walaa ilaaha illaa allaahu wallaahu akbar.
All glory be to Allah; all praise be to Allah; there is no god save Allah; Allah is the Greatest.
پاک ہے اﷲاور حمد اﷲہی کے لئے ہے اور اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبودنہیں اور اﷲبزرگ تر ہے۔
Recite 100 times…
پھر ۱۰۰ مرتبہ پڑھے۔۔۔
اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ رَبِّيْ وَاَتُوْبُ اِلَيْهِ۔
Astaghfiru allaaha rabbee wa-atoobu ilayh.
I seek the forgiveness of Allah, my Lord, and I repent before Him.
بخشش چاہتاہوں اﷲسے جو میرا رب ہے اور اس کے حضور توبہ کرتا ہوں۔
Recite Imam Husain (a)’s 15th Shaban Ziyarat.
امام حسینؑ کی ۱۵؍شعبان کی زیارت پڑھے۔
Recite Namaz Jafar-e-Tayyar (a).
نماز جعفرِ طیارؑبجا لائے، جو شیخؒ نے امام علی رضاؑ سے روایت کی ہے۔
Recite Dua-e-Kumail.

آج کی رات دُعاء ندبہ پڑھے۔
Recite Dua-e-Isteghasa.
آج کی رات دُعاء استغاثہ پڑھے۔
Recite Ziyarat-e-Isteghasa.

Recite Ziyarat Aal-e-Yaseen.

Recite dua Allahumma be-haqqe lailatil of Sahifa Mahdiya for Welcoming Imam Mahdi (a).
شیخؒ و سیّدؒ نے اس رات دعااَللّٰهُمَّ بِحَقِّ لَيْلَتِنَا پڑھنے کا ذکر فرمایا ہے،جو امام زمانہؑ کی زیارت کے مثل ہے۔

Recite 15th Eve Namaz of Shaban-2
آج رات نماز ۱۵؍ شعبان کی رات۔۲ پڑھے۔
It is recommended to recite 100 rakat namaz in the form of (2x2), in each rakat after Surah Fateha recite Surah Ikhlaas 10 times.
یادرہے کہ اس رات ۱۰۰ رکعت نماز بجا لانے کی بڑی فضیلت وارد ہوئی ہے۔ اس کی ہر رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد ۱۰ مرتبہ سورۂ اخلاص پڑھے۔
Offer 6 rakat namaz, in each rakat after Surah Fateha recite Surah Yaasin, Surah Mulk and Surah Ikhlaas. Imam Sadiq (a) says, “Whoever offers this namaz will be awarded the merits of these 3 months (Rajab, Shaban and Ramazan) and will have all his sins forgiven, except polytheism.
ماہِ رجب، شعبان اور ماہ رمضان کی اس شب میں ۶ رکعت نماز مستحب ہے کہ اس کی ہر رکعت میں سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورۂ یس، سورۂ ملک اور سورۂ اخلاص پڑھے۔ امام جعفر صادقؑ کا ارشاد ہے کہ اس طریقے سے یہ نماز بجالانے والا ان تینوں مہینوں کی تمام فضیلتیں حاصل کرے گا اور سوائے شرک کے اس کے سبھی گناہ معاف ہو جائیں گے۔

حضورؐ سجدے میں یہ دعا پڑھ رہے تھے۔۔۔
سَجَدَ لَكَ سَوَادِيْ وَخَيَالِيْ وَآمَنَ بِكَ فُؤَادِيْ هٰذِهٖ يَدَايَ وَمَا جَنَيْتُهٗ عَلٰى نَفْسِيْ يَاعَظِيْمُ (عَظِيْمًا) تُرْجٰى (يُرْجٰى) لِكُلِّ عَظِيْمٍ اِغْفِرْ لِيَ الْعَظِيْمَ فَاِنَّهٗ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذَّنْۢبَ الْعَظِيْمَ اِلَّا الرَّبُّ الْعَظِيمُ۔
Sajada laka sawaadee wakhayaalee wa-aamana bika fu'aadee haazihee yadaaya wamaa janaytuhoo 'alaa nafsee yaa 'azeemu ('azeeman) turjaa (yurjaa) likulli 'azeemin ighfir liya al-'azeema fa-innahoo laa yaghfiru az-zanba al-'azeema illaa ar-rabbu al-'azeem.
I prostrate myself in adoration before Thee, my thoughts and feelings in close attention, putting faith in Thee from the bottom of my heart. These are my two hands and that which they pluck and gather for me, O the Great, (to do) every noble deed reliance is upon Thee, forgive my serious offences because, beyond a shadow of doubt, no one can forgive the grave transgression except the Great Lord.
سجدہ کیا تیرے آگے میرے بدن اور میرے خیال نے اور ایمان لایا ہے تجھ پر میرا دل،یہ ہیں میرے دونوں ہاتھ اور جو ستم میں نے خود پر کیا ہے اے بڑائی والے جس سے امید ہے بڑے کام کی تو میرے بڑے بڑے گناہ بخش دے کیوں کہ بڑے گناہوں کو سوائے بڑائی والے پروردگار کے کوئی بخش نہیں سکتا۔
Then raise your head and then again go into Sajdah and say…
پھر آنحضرتؐ سجدے سے سر اٹھاکر دوبارہ سجدے میں گئے اورپڑھ رہے تھے۔۔۔
اَعُوذُ بِنُوْرِ وَجْهِكَ الَّذِيْ اَضَآءَتْ لَهُ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْاَرَضُوْنَ وَانْكَشَفَتْ لَهُ الظُّلُمَاتُ وَصَلَحَ عَلَيْهِ اَمْرُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ وَالْآخِرِيْنَ مِنْ فُجْاَةِ نَقِمَتِكَ وَمِنْ تَحْوِيْلِ عَافِيَتِكَ وَمِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِيْ قَلْبًا تَقِيًّا نَقِيًّا وَمِنَ الشِّرْكِ بَرِيْئًا لَّا كَافِرًا وَلَا شَقِيًّا۔
A'oozu binoori wajhika allazee adaa'at lahu as-samaawaatu wal-aradoona wankashafat lahu az-zulumaatu wasalaha 'alayhi amru al-awwaleena wal-aakhireena min fuj'ati naqimatika wamin tahweeli 'aafiyatika wamin zawaali ni'matik.
Allaahumma urzuqnee qalban taqiyyan naqiyyan wamina ash-shirki baree'an laa kaafiran walaa shaqiyyaa.
I adhere close to the Light of Thy Being that had illuminated the heavens and the earths, removed and exposed the darkness, put in order the “operation”, from the beginning to the end, from the sudden onset of Thy retribution, from the changing of Thy well-being and the vanishing of Thy grace. O Allah give me a knowing fearing, clean conscience, free from polytheism, which is neither renegade nor villainous.
پناہ حاصل کرتا ہوں میں تیرے نورِ ذات کی جس سے آسمانوں اور زمینوں نے روشنی حاصل کی اور جس سے تاریکیاں چھٹ گئیں اور اس کی بدولت اولین اورآخرین کا کام بن گیا کہ وہ تیرے ناگہانی عذاب سے امن کے چھن جانے اور تیری نعمتوں کے زائل ہو جانے کی سختیوں سے بچ گئے اے معبود! مجھے پاک اور پرہیزگار دل دے کہ جو شرک سے پاک ہو اور نہ حق کا منکر ہو نہ بے رحم ہو۔
Then attach your face to the ground and say…
پھر آپ نے اپنے چہرے کو دونوں طرف سے خاک پر رکھ کر یہ پڑھی۔۔۔
عَفَّرْتُ وَجْهِيْ فِي التُّرَابِ وَحُقَّ لِيْ اَنْ اَسْجُدَ لَكَ۔
'Affartu wajhee fee at-turaabi wahuqqa lee an asjuda lak.
I put my face on the earth and roll in the dust because it is imposed as a duty that I prostrate myself in adoration before Thee.
میں نے اپنے چہرے کو خاک پر رکھا ہے اور میرے لئے ضروری ہے کہ تیرے آگے سجدہ کروں۔
