بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismi allaahi ar-rahmaani ar-raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْکَ یَابَقِیَّۃَ الْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَابْنَ اَوَّلِ الْمُسْلِمِیْنَ‘ وَکَیْفَ لَا تَکُوْنُ کَذٰلِکَ وَاَنْتَ سَبِیْلُ الْہُدٰی وَحَلِیْفُ التُّقٰی وَخَامِسُ اَصْحَابِ الْکِسَآئِ غَذَّتْکَ یَدُ الرَّحْمَۃِ وَرُبِّیْتَ فِیْ حِجْرِ الْاِسْلَامِ وَرَضَعْتَ مِنْ ثَدْیِ الْاِیْمَانِ فَطِبْتَ حَیًّا وَطِبْتَ مَیِّتًا غَیْرَ اَنَّ الْاَنْفُسَ غَیْرَ طَیِّبَۃٍ بِفِرَاقِکَ‘ وَلَاشَاکَّۃٍ فِیْ الْحَیٰوۃِ لَکَ‘ یَرْحَمُکَ اللہُ۔
As-salaamu 'alayka yaa baqiyyata al-mu'mineena wabna awwali al-muslimeena‘ wakayfa laa takoonu kazaalika wa-anta sabeelu al-hudaa wahaleefu at-tuqaa wakhaamisu ashaabi al-kisaa'i ghazzatka yadu ar-rahmati warubbeeta fee hijri al-islaami warada'ta min thadyi al-eemaani fatibta hayyan watibta mayyitan ghayra anna al-anfusa ghayra tayyibatin bifiraaqika‘ walaashaakkatin fee al-hayaati laka‘ yarhamuka allaah.
Peace be upon you, O remnant of the Momins, the son of the one who proclaimed Islam first! And, how can it not be so when you are the path of guidance, the ally of piety and a companion of the Kisa. You were fed by the “hand” of Rehmat and you were brought up in the lap of Islam. You drank milk from the bosom of Imaan (faith), Your life was pure and so was your death. But people are not happy over separation from you, although they do not doubt your eternal life. May Allah’s blessings be on you!
سلام ہو آپ پر اے مومنین کی یادگار اور مسلمانوں میں سب سے پہلے مسلمانوں کے فرزند، اور آپ اُنہی جیسے کیوں نا ہوتے جب کہ آپ بھی راہِ ہدایت ہیں، اور صاحبِ پاکیزگی و طہارت ہیں اور صاحبِ کسا کے فرد ہیں، آپ نے رحمت کے ہاتھوں غذا حاصل کی اور آپ نے پرورش پائی اسلام کی آغوش میں اور آپ نے ایمان کی چھاتی (پستان) سے دودھ پیا۔ پس آپ زندگی میں بھی اچھے رہے اور موت بھی اچھائی پر ہوئی، اگرچہ دگر نفوس آپ کی جدائی پر غم زدہ ہوئے اور آپ کی زندگی میں کوئی شک کرنے والا نہیں، اللہ آپ پر اپنی رحمتیں نازل فرمائے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allaahumma salli 'alaa muhammadin wa-aali muhammad.
O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آلؑ پر۔
