Day of Arafah
روزِ عرفہ
سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلہِ وَلَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّا اللہُ وَاللہُ اَكْبَرُ۔
Subhaanallahe wal hamdo lillaahe wa-la ilaaha illallaaho wallaaho akbar.
All glory be to Allah; all praise be to Allah; there is no god save Allah; Allah is the Greatest.
پاک ہے اﷲاور حمد اﷲہی کے لئے ہے اور اﷲکے سوا کوئی معبودنہیں اور اﷲبزرگ تر ہے۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
لَا اِلٰہَ اِلَّااللہُ وَحْدَہٗ لَاشَرِیْکَ لَہٗ لَہُ الْمُلْکُ وَلَہُ الْحَمْدُ یُحْیِیْ وَیُمِیْتُ وَیُمِیْتُ وَیُحْیِیْ وَھُوَ حَیٌّ لَّایَمُوْتُ بِیَدِہِ الْخَیْرُ وَھُوَ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیْٓءٍ قَدِیْرٌ۔
Laa ilaaha ilal-laaho wahda-hu laa shareeka lahu lahul mulko wa lahul hamdo yoh-yee wa yomee-to wa yomee-to wa yoh-yee wa howa hayyul laa yamoo-to be-yade-hil khairo wa howa a’laa kulle shai-in qadee-roon.
a) There is no god save Allah, the Only One. He has no partner. Sovereignty belongs to Him. (All) Praise belongs to Him. He gives life, puts to death, makes dead, and brings to life. He is Ever-Alive, never non-existent, in His hand is the good. He is able to do all things.
نہیں کوئی معبود سوائے اللہ کے وہ یکتا ہے کوئی اس کا ثانی نہیں اسی کے لئے حکومت اور حمد،وہ زندہ کرتا اور موت دیتا ہے اور موت دیتا اور زندہ کرتا ہے اور وہ ایسازندہ ہے جسے موت نہیں اسی کے ہاتھ میں بھلائی ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے۔
اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللہَ الَّذِیْ لَااِلٰہَ اِلَّا ھُوَ الْحَیُّ الْقَیُّوْمُ وَاتُوْبُ اِلَیْهِ۔
As-tagh-ferul-laahal lazee laa ilaaha illaa howal hayyul qaiyyoo-mo waatoo-bo ilaihe.
b) I ask forgiveness of Allah. There is no god save He, the Ever-Alive.
بخشش چاہتاہوں اس اللہ سے کہ جس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں زندہ و پائندہ ہے اورمیں اس کے حضور توبہ کرتا ہوں۔
یَااَللہُ۔
Yaa allaaho
c) O Allah!
اے اللہ۔
یَارَحْمٰنُ۔
Ya rahmaano
d) O Beneficent!
اے بڑے مہربان۔
یَارَحِیْمُ۔
Ya raheemo
e) O Merciful!
اے رحم والے۔
یَابَدِیْعَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ۔
Yaa badee-a’s samaa-waate wal arze.
f) O Creator of the heavens and the earth.
اے آسمانوں اور زمین کے پیدا کرنے والے۔
یَاذَالْجَلَالِ وَالْاِکْرَامِ۔
Yaa zal jalaale wal ik-raame.
g) O Owner of might and majesty.
اے جلالت و بزرگی کے مالک۔
یَاحَیُّ یَاقَیُّوْمُ۔
Yaa haiyyo yaa qaiy-yoomo.
h) O Ever-Alive! O Eternal!
اے زندہ اے پائندہ۔
یَاحَنَّانُ یَامَنَّانُ۔
Yaa hannaano yaa mannaano.
i) O Giver! O Bestower!
ذ) اے عطا کرنے والے! اے احسان کرنے والے!
یَالَااِلٰہَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ۔
Yaa laa ilaaha illaa anta.
j) O’ There is no god save Thou.
اے کہ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔
اٰمِیْنَ۔
Aameena.
k) So be it.
ایسا ہی ہو
يَا رَبِّ اِنَّ ذُنُوْبِيْ لَا تَضُرُّكَ وَاِنَّ مَغْفِرَتَكَ لِيْ لَا تَنْقُصُكَ فَاَعْطِنِيْ مَا لَا يَنْقُصُكَ وَاغْفِرْ لِيْ مَا لَا يَضُرُّكَ۔
Yaa rabbe inna zonoo-bee laa ta-zurro-ka wa inna magh-ferata-ka lee laa tan-qoso-ka fa-a’te-nee maa laa yan-qoso-ka wagh-fir-lee maa laa ya-zurro-ka.
O my Lord, my sins do not harm You nor will Your forgiveness to me reduce Your Grandeur. So, (please do) grant me that which does not reduce Your Grandeur and forgive me that which does not harm You.
اے پروردگاربے شک میرے گناہ تجھے نقصان نہیں دیتے اور یقینًا مجھ کو بخش دینے سے تیری عطا میں ہرگز کوئی کمی نہیں آتی پس مجھے عطا کر کہ اس سے تجھے کمی نہیں آتی اور مجھے بخش دے کہ اس میں تیرا نقصان نہیں۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَا تَحْرِمْنِيْ خَيْرَ مَا عِنْدَكَ لِشَرِّ مَا عِنْدِيْ فَاِنْ اَنْتَ لَمْ تَرْحَمْنِيْ بِتَعَبِيْ وَنَصَبِيْ فَلَا تَحْرِمْنِيْ اَجْرَ الْمُصَابِ عَلٰى مُصِيْبَتِهٖ۔
Allaahumma laa tah-rim-nee khaira maa i’nda-ka le-sharre maa i’n-dee fa-in anta lam tar-ham-nee be-ta-a’bee wa nasa-bee fa-laa tah-rim-nee ajral mosaa-be a’laa mosee-bate-hi.
O Allah, (please) do not deprive me of the good that You have because of the evil that I have. If You do not have mercy upon me due to my fatigue and tiredness, (please) then do not deprive me of the reward of those whom are afflicted with misfortunes.
۱ے اللہ! مجھے اپنی بھلائی سے محروم نہ کر اس برائی کی وجہ سے جو میں نے کی پس اگر تو نے اس رنج اور تکلیف میں مجھ پر رحم نہیں کیا تو مجھے اس شخص جیسے اجر سے محروم نہ فرما جس نے سختی پر سختی جھیلی ہو۔
