Allahummar Zuqni — obedience of the humble (Ramazan)
اَللّٰھُمَّ ارْزُقْنِیْ فِیْہِ طَاعَۃَ
One of the short duas for the days of the month of Ramazan, each asking for a particular quality on its own day. This one asks for the obedience of the humble, for the breast to be expanded through the repentance of those who turn back to Allah, and for His security — addressing Him here as the shelter of the fearful.
These daily duas belong to a month whose nights carry Laylat al-Qadr, and each of them is sealed with salawat upon Muhammad and his progeny.
بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
Bismillaahir rahmaanir raheem
In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
اللہ کے نام سے (شروع کرتا ہوں) جو بڑا مہربا ن نہایت رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
اَللّٰھُمَّ ارْزُقْنِیْ فِیْہِ طَاعَۃَ الْخَاشِعِیْنَ وَاشْرَحْ فِیْہِ صَدْرِیْ بِاِنَابَۃِ الْمُخْبِتِیْنَ بِاَمَانِکَ یَااَمَانَ الْخَآئِفِیْنَ۔
Allaahum-mar zuqnee feehe taa-a’til khaashe-ee’na wash-rah feehe sadree be-enaa-batil mukhbe-teena be-amaane-ka yaa amaa-nal khaa-e-feen.
O Allah! On this day, grant me the obedience of the humble expand my chest through the repentance of the humble, by Your security, O the shelter of the fearful.
اے معبود! آج کے دن مجھے خاشعین کی سی اطاعت نصیب فرمااور اس میں دل دادہ لوگوں ایسی بازگشت کے لئے میرا سینہ کھول دے اپنی پناہ کے ساتھ اے خوف زدوں کی پناہ۔
اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔
Allahumma swalle alaa muhammadiw wa aale muhammadin
Allah’s (s.w.t) choicest blessings be upon Mohammed and his holy progeny.
اے معبود! رحمت نازل فرما حضرت محمدؐ اور انکی آل ؑپر۔
